hiiiiii sweet loves!

i know, i know, i've been v absent, but i have been writing (albeit v slowly) and wanted to give you guys an update on my WIPs. I also wanted to let you know that for the first time, I'm taking requests for short drabbles and one shots, so read on if you're interested for more details!!!

okay, i've got a few WIPs, and some are further along than others.

the most likely contender for my next posted series will be my star wars rewrite series with the choose your own ending, which is about 65% finished! i thought about starting to post now bc i have about 30 chapters finished, but i think i want to push on and finish it up first so i can give multiple updates without any lags (since my writing hasnt been as fast as it ws during quarantine)

my grounder!reader x bellamy series is probably next up. it's about 15% done at this point, but it's shorter than the other works i have planned and it's already completely plotted out so i think that's where i'll progress next.

my harry potter rewrite is also about 15% finished, but is planned to be muchhhhhh longer (might get up there with sub rosa tbh) so i think it'll be a bigger monster to finish, though it is pretty solidly plotted and I have a bunch of random scenes finished.

i've also got a dune rewrite and a marvel rewrite in the works, though both are pretty bare bones for now. i've been planning a big bucky barnes rewrite for agessssss, but i want to explore the legal side of a bucky barnes trial so i've been trying to decide if that'll be its own thing or included in one large rewrite.

i also would love to do a yelena belova series of some sort, but havent made much progress there. it could make its way into one giant marvel rewrite and be a kinda poly situation if people are interested!

okay so i keep forgetting that i can write like, little things?? my brain is always pretty solidly in series mode but i used to churn out drabbles on an old blog like crazy, so i'd like to do that again just so i'm posting more frequently!

i'm open to writing smut, and i write for marvel, the 100, star wars, and harry potter. i'm also down for fluff or angst or any other things you might want. i prefer reader insert based requests, but i won't count out pairings of characters bc you never know when inspiration will strike.

Warning, this may be… Incomprehensible. I just have a lot of ideas and they aren’t fully fleshed out so I’m just throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks. Hope you like a wall full of spaghetti, Anon!

- While going back in time reverses the physical effects that Operator Sickness had, they all still carry the trauma of its effects and what happened during it, so while only Tim is experiencing symptoms (though currently managing them with his medication), they aren’t completely off scot-free.

- I imagine it takes them a minute to realize exactly how many people woke up with memories of the previous timeline. I feel like Brian would want to tell someone and that someone would end up being Tim and then they’d both realize they remembered and compare notes

- I HC Seth and Sarah as roommates so they immediately find out as well. Amy and Jessica too. Pretty much the only person that thinks they’re in this alone at first is Jay but fortunately that doesn’t last too long because maybe Brian starts trying to subtly figure out if anyone else has any memories by asking questions only someone who knew would know, and finally Tim, Jay, Brian, Seth, and Sarah all realize they’re on the same page.

- Imagine their shock and suspicion when they realize Alex is not. Further suspicion that only grows when Amy and Jessica show up meaning Alex is the only one who doesn’t remember. Maybe they try and test him to see if he’s faking it and if he’ll slip up.

- He doesn’t. Alex really doesn’t remember anything.

- There are… Lots of things to work out. Not just with where to go next but there’s still some animosity within the group and especially regarding the members of ToTheArk. Influenced by an otherworldly being or not, it’s still something they need to resolve. Not to mention, Amy points out that Alex was influenced too, an argument that keeps being brought up because nobody really knows what to think. Alex killed people, but how much of that was Alex and how much of it was something else entirely?

- Meanwhile, Alex just really wanted to work on his film but while he can location scout and work on the script all he wants, without actors, it’s not really gonna go anywhere, and his actors keep finding excuses to put it off.

- Alex has no idea what’s going on with everyone because Tim and Jay are polite at best and usually tense around him, Jessica keeps looking at him like she doesn’t know what to think, Brian can’t seem to make up his mind, Seth and Sarah flat out refuse to be in a room alone with him, even Amy is acting distant. He feels like he’s missing something but he doesn’t know what and nobody is telling him. All the conversations he catches sound like nonsense too so he’s pretty much completely in the dark too.

- Since Alex is out and about location scouting, he ends up catching the early stages of Operator Sickness. The next time he gets into a coughing fit in front of any of them, they freak out and Alex doesn’t get why.

- The arguments get worse. They can’t tell if Alex is doomed to repeat the cycle and if they need to take him out in order to prevent it, or if they can make sure he doesn’t turn out the same this time

- Being around Alex makes them all conflicted. Because this Alex is the Alex that they became friends with in the first place and they missed this version of him a lot but it’s one thing to miss it and another thing to get it back, especially considering a good chunk of them last remember dying because of him before waking up in the past. They don’t know if they can trust him, or if they’ll just get hurt all over again if they get attached

- Their distance from Alex causes a lot of internal issues for Alex himself. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out he’s the odd man out here, and the problem they have. He just doesn’t understand why and it’s frustrating but whenever he gets frustrated, it just drives them all further away and makes it worse. He doesn’t know what to do.

- Then maybe (still deciding on when), one day, Alex wakes up. And he remembers everything and understands better than ever. He doesn’t blame them. He didn’t help them at all in the end. But maybe he can now.

- In order to stop the sickness, it’s best to cut it off at the source. Alex doesn’t know what he can do against a monster like that but since it no longer has such a tight hold over him, he can do something this time. He has to do something. And if he dies trying? Then at the very least, it can’t use him against them anymore.

- While Alex does try to stand up to the Operator, it goes rather poorly. Fortunately, someone finds him unconscious somewhere (maybe Brian), drags him back to one of their apartments, and they have a talk when he wakes up. They’re still not the most comfortable around him but suffice to say, Alex regaining his memories and immediately choosing to attempt to fight the Operator proves that he’s not gonna repeat the same mistakes twice, solving that matter at the very least.

- Cue a whole lot of healing while attempting to figure out a way to get rid of a creature beyond their understanding

That’s about what I got! Again, just spitballed ideas, definitely needs some more fine tuning but it’s a start. Hope you enjoyed!

Chuuya's reaction to Dazai getting hurt during the Lovecraft fight has always been so interesting to me...

Because it's the kind of worry you'd never expect from a character as gruff as Chuuya, who had displayed nothing but hostility towards Dazai so far. Usually, characters that are labelled as "angry" or "anger issues" (which Chuuya is much more complex than that but you get my point) act more as a tsundere type of way when the one they "don't care about" gets hurt. And show their care in very, very subtle ways (ex. their eyes widen, their mouth parts and closes again, etc) before putting up their front once more.

Chuuya, however, is open, and vocal about it. His worry is clear not only to us, but to Dazai himself, the one he shouldn't be displaying the concern to (as per the cliche). Shouldn't it be some sort of secret that Chuuya does care? Isn't that what skk's dynamic has been shaping up to be until now?

I'm telling you- the way my mind blanked when Chuuya just casually.... showed concern not once, but twice, was a sight to see.

Besides, the context makes it much more confusing, because Dazai isn't some rookie, and Chuuya knows that more than anybody. He was the youngest executive in Port Mafia's history, of course he can handle a hit or two. Of course he'd seen him handle a hit or two, sometimes without batting an eye.

Heck, Chuuya himself was hurling Dazai like a ragdoll in their reunion, which was their last meeting. And you could argue that he was going easy on him, but Dazai has mostly withstood the same damage (as far as I could see), and Chuuya was as bitter as ever.

So that kind of contradicts both what we knew of Chuuya so far, and how their dynamic was shaped to be. I mean, that just makes Chuuya a hypocrite, yeah? What makes him care now, all of a sudden? What makes him care at all?

Well, to me, this backasswards reaction implies one (or more) of the following:

- Dazai rarely got physically hurt during their partnership and thus this is an unexpected thing for him to see (during a mission).

- The four years of separation made Chuuya unsure of how much Dazai can withstand physically now. Also the fact that he isn't in the mafia anymore, aka fighting enemy organizations on the weekly, would naturally make Dazai lose his touch in a way, what prompts Chuuya's reaction.

- Dazai getting taken off guard took him off guard which led to panic. Especially since the situation was (momentarily) out of their depth. Seriously wtf even was Lovecraft?

- During the dungeon scene Dazai was an enemy, while in the Lovecraft fight he was as an ally. The difference might be significant to Chuuya.

- This has always been Chuuya's reaction to Dazai getting hurt regardless of the situation.

- "Only I can hurt him like that" ahh logic

- Asagiri was still experimenting with their dynamic and thus there are some inconsistencies.

This scenario didn't play out again (after their reunion) for me to exactly determine which one is more plausible, but it is 100% canon for Chuuya to shamelessly show his concern and run to Dazai to check on him before properly dealing with their opponent, which I find to be such an appealing layer to their dynamic, and a good spin on the type of character he gets stereotyped as.

Bonus: Dazai also becomes a softy when Chuuya's hurt, especially post corruption. Dead Apple alone displays that multiple times.

All in all, Skk are doing a terrible job at maintaining their 'hostile' and 'antagonistic' relationship post their reunion. Freaks.

aaa please tell me all about your sanji and yonji au? is yonji still super strong and durable? can he even starve? also did he try to protect little sanji from their other brothers or was he more like reiju and stayed out of it? what does he think of zeff like does yonji trust him around sanji? i love this au!!!

yaaaay i love getting to talk about my aus n stuff im super happy people want to hear about this one it means so much!! I think Yonji at his base level in this au would still have his super strength, and eventually he would develop his durability but he wouldn't have it immediately. smthn smthn it's his personal strawhat powerup. but for the most part he's human just like Sanji, just with insane strength! (which means i think he would be able to starve along side Sanji and Zeff) Yonji would have probably started out bullying Sanji like his older brothers to fit in, but very quickly he would have stopped cause it just made him feel. bad. yk? I don't know if he would stand up for him exactly but I think he would probably redirect them when he can and when he can't he's the first one to find Reiju so that she can clean him up while Yonji awkwardly stands off to the side pretending like he doesn't care. I think the more time that he spent around Sanji and Reiju rather than Ichiji and Niji the more he would act like an actual kid rather than just a solider. He would absolutely not have trusted Zeff at first, smthn about having a deep mistrust of older male figures after getting away from Judge. On the island where its just him Sanji and Zeff, Yonji would have been watching Sanji's back cause he doesn't know what to expect. After finding out that Zeff gave them all of the food and had to eat his own leg Yonji would realize that this guy is much different than what he though, and it changes his perspective of people in general, being used to people turning their backs on the weaker links. He doesn't trust him entierly after they get off the island but he respects him and trust him enough to leave Sanji alone with him if it should come down to it. (eventually, Yonji would come to call Zeff his dad like Sanji does but that is only after years of them all living together)

Ritual Imayoh is such a funny battlesuit concept for me because like. Otto presumably found data on PE's SAKURA and thinks, oh wow that looks like the miko who seduced my Kallen. He then creates a game where he can flaunt his fantasies for a badass superhero Kallen in a design that DIRECTLY MIRRORS the outfit of 'Sakura' he found online, and then PUTS THE SAKURA IN AS THE FINAL BOSS. It's likely that he wanted people to find joy in beating up Sakura but boy did he underestimate the homoerotic subtext the entire ordeal will bring.

"You are only the strongest because you are trapped in this endless cycle of war. Let me see if you're strong enough to handle me!"
