TUMBLR is too Liberal & biased
Used it for years, never made an account until now. This site has always been a hive for nonconformist hipsters. Especially leftists from that 2010s Simpsons episode “the Day the Earth Stood Cool”
I’m not ashamed of the fact that a Catholic school saved me, made me the wise, chill pro-intellectualist & creator I am. Straight, neurotypical jock too. Lately. I’ve been hearing people come out against the S.A. & Rez school abewse run by Prog-Liberal governments (& to be Hufflepuff fair Catholics too) that kids were kælled, verbally, emotionally sæxually & physically assaulted into conforming to Western standards. AKA Liberal/Democrat modernity, preachings & progress. It made me think that not only were the Rumors of child incarceration true. But raising prices, creating more homeless (as did Marx & his children) dependant on Left-govt welfare. SA especially in govt child care buildings.
I haven’t been able to get a job or a home. Its a harsh burden on me, my fellow Zillenials (along with cold stereotypes) and parents too.
As for Leftist Divergent LGBTQ ideology polluting nature. Immigration ideology & policies sent VERY long, carbon emitting plane & boat trips from IBegaldesh, India & Philippines (etc). Do the math for distances & minimum wage compared to apartment prices. Everyone freezes thanks to Kamala Trudeau.
Every migrant has to eat. So the litter from fast food or big grocery is plastic fueling wildfires that occur in Canada each year. It’s obvious what harm this does to Mountain glaciers, Icebergs & permafrost. Don’t get me started on the need for gas & cars to get microplastics fish & humans end up eating.
Even the UN has called this migration program “modern day/capitalist Slavery” made worse when Kamala Harris told Latinx women & children escaping civil war, gangs & abuse. Through hot deserts & jungles in the summer. “DO NOT COME x2” then sent them back to war with building some facilities after that might not work or get destroyed.
California & Massachusetts - Esoecially cities- are democrat constant states where homelessness is all over the place. No bathrooms, more Drugs & alcohol. Favours for the rich.
Reconsider your vote & ideology. Obama bombed innocent civilians.

An Englishman, Irishman, Welshman and a Scot were captured by the Iraqis and sentenced to face a firing squad.
The Iraqis asked the Scot for his last request and he asked for 1000 Scot’s guards to play the bagpipes.
The Irishman was asked for his last request and he asked for 1000 Irish dancers to perform River Dance.
They asked the Welshman for his last request. He asked for a male voice choir of 1000 men from the Welsh valleys.
The Englishman was asked for his last request. ‘Shoot me first’, he said.

Our second regent and second French connection of the day , on July 12th 1515 John Stewart, Duke of Albany was made Regent of Scotland.
Albany's father, Alexander Stewart, was the younger son of the Scottish king James II, in 1504 his cousin became James IV and in 1505 Albany married his French cousin, the fabulously wealthy heiress Anne Countess of Auvergne. In 1512 a son born to James IV's Tudor wife Margaret, sister to Henry VIII, relegated Albany to third in line to the Scottish throne but in 1513 James IV was killed at the Battle Flodden, fighting his English brother-in-law, and the struggle for control of his infant son's regency began.
Albany was in France when James IV died and though he hurried back to Scotland aboard a fleet of eight ships it seemed that he was too late. James IV mother, Margaret had quickly married the powerful Earl of Angus and with his support she'd seized control of her royal son's council. Undaunted, Albany kidnapped the eighteen month old James V and besieged his mother in Stirling Castle. When she surrendered, Margaret was sent into exile in England but though he was now sole regent, Albany preferred to exercise his power through lieutenants whilst he returned to his wife's estates in France.
Despite his curious self imposed exile Albany was not idle. In 1517 he was instrumental in the renewal the Auld Alliance with France and secured the promise of a French bride for the now five year old King of Scots. He also secured papal confirmation of Scotland's ancient rights and privileges from Pope Leo X. In 1521, having seen his foreign policy triumph, Albany returned to Scotland whereupon Margaret Tudor abandoned her husband and sided with her old enemy.
The Earl of Angus was sent in chains to France but when James V's minority was declared to be at an end, on the boy's twelfth birthday, Angus returned to Edinburgh and succeeded in banishing Albany.
Returning to France, Albany found the French king was sympathetic to his plight and Francis promised to support an invasion that would end Tudor influence north of the border once and for all. Unfortunately for Albany, the renewal of Frances war with the Hapsburg Holy Roman Emperors put an end to these plans. Despite this setback, Albany joined the French king as he marched south to invade imperial Italy and was put in charge of an army that was supposed to capture the Hapsburg Kingdom of Naples. In this Albany failed but he remained in French service until his death in 1536.

So despite presenting feminine and being transfen I don't get much gender euphoria from being referred to in a feminine way but I got a rush of it from being called "lass" like if that isn't the most enby thing ever I don't know what is.
My gender is now: "foreign person who gets called lass/ie by the Irish/Scottish locals"

Mitch's small party is mostly old friends, but he also invites one of the new doctors who've moved into the manufactured home estate. "What is this? I live in a trailer and there's more room in the kitchen!" "Dining room's through that arch there."
Tumblr media
"Oh, yeah, you put back a little savings, you'll be able to afford a house of your own in no time in this town."
Tumblr media
"I'm not as anti-social as I used to be, but this getting to know people stuff is still not my forte." "Well, I can help you with that. And you'll find it's a friendly place."
Tumblr media
"You shoulda got the lead in that 'Slapdance' flick, girl." "I know! But they wanted the star power and didn't mind paying a dance coach."
Tumblr media
"You're not heading up to bed already?" "I know, I know, but I'm crashing hard." "I wonder if one of the new doctors can give you anything to improve your stamina." "I'm working on it, honest."
Tumblr media
"This is some really complicated backstory." "Oh, you ain't heard nothing yet. Now, Virginia and Roxie -"
Tumblr media
Mitch crashes a little himself before the guests leave, but it's with the satisfaction of knowing this was a party well-thrown.

Exploring the Philosophical Landscape of Technology: Theories and Perspectives
The philosophy of technology is a rich and evolving field that explores the nature, impact, and ethical dimensions of technology. Here are some key theories and approaches within this field:
Technological Determinism: This theory suggests that technology shapes society and human behavior more than individuals or society shape technology. It proposes that technological developments have a predetermined, often inevitable, impact on social, cultural, and economic structures.
Social Construction of Technology (SCOT): SCOT theory argues that technologies are not inherently good or bad but are socially constructed. It focuses on the process by which technologies are developed, adopted, and adapted based on the values and interests of different social groups.
Postphenomenology: Drawing from phenomenology, this approach explores how technology mediates our interactions with the world. It examines the ways in which technology influences our perception, embodiment, and experiences.
Actor-Network Theory (ANT): ANT considers both human and non-human actors (like technology) as equal participants in shaping social networks and processes. It emphasizes the role of technology in mediating human interactions and agency.
Ethics of Technology: This area of philosophy explores the ethical dimensions of technological development and use. It delves into topics such as privacy, surveillance, artificial intelligence ethics, and the moral responsibilities of technologists.
Philosophy of Information: This branch investigates the fundamental nature of information and its role in technology. It examines concepts like data, knowledge, and information ethics in the digital age.
Critical Theory of Technology: Rooted in critical theory, this approach critiques the social and political implications of technology. It seeks to uncover power structures and inequalities embedded in technological systems.
Feminist Philosophy of Technology: This perspective focuses on the intersection of gender and technology. It examines how technology can reinforce or challenge gender norms and inequalities.
Environmental Philosophy of Technology: This theory explores the environmental impact of technology, including topics like sustainability, resource depletion, and the ethics of technological solutions to environmental challenges.
Existentialist Philosophy of Technology: Drawing from existentialism, this approach considers the impact of technology on human existence and individuality. It explores questions of alienation, authenticity, and freedom in a technological world.
Human Enhancement Ethics: With the advancement of biotechnology, this theory addresses the ethical dilemmas surrounding human enhancement technologies, including genetic engineering and cognitive enhancement.
Pragmatism and Technology: Pragmatist philosophy examines how technology influences our practical, everyday experiences and shapes our interactions with the world.
These theories and approaches within the philosophy of technology provide valuable insights into how technology influences and is influenced by society, as well as the ethical considerations that arise in our increasingly technologically driven world.

John Mackenzie the filmmaker and director was born on May 22nd 1928 in Edinburgh.
McKenzie attended Holy Cross Academy then studied history at the University of Edinburgh. He went on to study drama and joined Edinburgh's Gateway Theatre Company.. He worked as a teacher and moved to London in 1960 where he worked for the BBC, his talents were spotted by the distinguished director Ken Loach, who made him his assistant, working on such socially significant teleplays as Up the Junction and the famously controversial Cathy Come Home. The experience of working with Loach proved invaluable and Mackenzie gained a wide experience of movie making and, not least, working within a tight budget.
Mackenzie did get some solo directing jobs on such programmes as ITV's Saturday Night Theatre but his first television drama was There is Also Tomorrow in 1969 and two feature length films including Made, which was shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival last year.
In the late 1960s Mackenzie started working with the Glasgow-born screenwriter Peter McDougall. Their first major success, Just Another Saturday, detailed the harsh working conditions of the Glasgow shipyards. The two collaborated on three other commanding films - all with Scottish backgrounds. The Elephant's Graveyard and Just a Boy's Game explored life and social conditions in Scotland.
But in 1979 the two made their most accomplished and dramatic film for STV - A Sense of Freedom, which starred David Hayman, Hector Nicol and Fulton Mackay. Based on the violent life of Jimmy Boyle, the film magnificently captured the very essence of evil that Boyle represented - from the opening sequences in Glasgow back streets filmed in semi-focus with a searing jazz rhythm being played in the background. Mackenzie then cut to a smoky bar and Boyle enters in smart suit and menacingly says to the landlord: "I hear you have had a bit of bother recently. I might be able to get rid of them for you."
The film made uneasy viewing. The Scottish Prison Service would not allow Mackenzie to film in its prisons, so he had to use Dublin's Kilmainham Prison. But the film won much praise and the rigour and unflinching direction from Mackenzie was widely admired.
One critic wrote: "Like it or loathe it, A Sense of Freedom should be watched by any budding film makers. Certainly it is one of Scotland's finest film exports ever."
There then followed The Long Good Friday, which was set against the development of Canary Wharf in London and follows the fraught efforts of the Hoskins character to mastermind a dubious property deal with the Americans.
Mackenzie kept a tight grip on the direction and in scenes such as when Hoskins is turned down by the Americans he allows Hoskins to let rip with a powerfully invective speech only for him to get into his car and be confronted by a gunman (played by Pierce Brosnan in his debut film role).
Post production was beset by problems - not least Hoskins threatening to sue the American distributors if they dubbed his Cockney accent. The original television producers wanted the IRA content softened but Mackenzie and his colleagues resold the rights to George Harrison's Handmade Films so that it could be seen in cinemas. In one interview Mackenzie said of the storyline: "A mysterious syndicate is trying to muscle in on his action, and Harold wants to know who they are. He finds out soon enough, and bloody mayhem ensues."
It was that keen sense of drama, balanced by irreverent humour and directorial zest that has made The Long Good Friday a cinema classic.
Mackenzie returned to Scotland in 1998 to film Looking After Jo Jo for BBC Scotland. The drama starred Robert Carlyle. Again the story is sordid and uncompromising. It centres on a petty Edinburgh thief and drug dealer (Carlyle) who menaces the Sighthill housing estates. Mackenzie's sense of pace and his ability to draw a subtly threatening performance from Carlyle brought the film warm praise.
Other films that McKenzie directed include The Fourth Protocol with Michael Caine, Blue Heat, with the late great Bian Denehey and Ruby, with Danny Aiello
Mackenzie died following a stroke on 8th June 2011, some three weeks after his 83rd birthday
