Here we come with another first of month update, perhaps too early for the level of development that we have with episode 7.1 (Demons’ route). However, we are going to tell you a little about the forecasts and what we are working on right now, are you ready?

Writing

As we announced before the end of the previous chapter, the skeleton of this new episode is done and all of us know what we have to do and all of the areas are engrossed in their respective works. We are already writing the script, which goes to an incredible 30% and prevents it from being completed in a few weeks.

Without spoiling, we would like this chapter to help delve a little deeper into Zihel's past. Not necessarily for the better ... Zihel is a character with many edges and we don't think that's bad. Even if he has a blackened little heart, he also has weak points and perhaps Jordan is starting to become one. On the other hand, we will reveal two very interesting things, one about Ariel and his relationship with Jordan and the second ... about Pin, but to find out you will have to wait for the next episode.

Art

We have finished with the three new expressions of our main characters. Also, we are working on different outfits and editions, apart from seeing a new secondary character that some of you will remember as a mysterious shadow. And of course, we will have three new CGs. We almost have all 30 unlockable images!

As for funds, we will have 3 new scenarios. One of them will correspond to the incredible facade of the demonic church and the other two will explore the intimacies of our boys.

Programming

The programming part is ... Sleeping. Until the script is done, we won't be able to start coding, pinning keys and adding new art. But as soon as possible we will get on with it. We haven’t got news plans for the interface or mechanics, so ... It will continue to sleep.

Other

This month, as an additional task, we are working on making a press kit to help us with the media. If everything goes according to our plans, it will be ready by the end of the month.

We are still trying to incorporate a beta reader in the spanish version, we hope that it will improve your experience as much as possible, although there may still be some mismatches along the way. See you soon and be happy.

Aquí venimos con otra actualización de primeros de mes, quizás demasiado temprana para el nivel de desarrollo que llevamos con el episodio 7.1 (ruta demonios). No obstante, vamos a contaros un poco de las previsiones y en qué estamos trabajando justo ahora, ¿Preparados?

Escritura

Como ya anunciamos antes de finalizar el capítulo anterior, ya se preparó el esqueleto de este nuevo episodio y se hizo reparto de tareas para la parte de artes y narración, así que todas nos encontramos enfrascadas en nuestras respectivas áreas. Ya estamos escribiendo el guión, que va a un increíble 30% y preveemos que en pocas semanas esté terminado al completo.

Sin haceros spoiler, nos gustaría que este capítulo ayudase a profundizar un poco más en el pasado de Zihel. No necesariamente para mejor… Zihel es un personaje con muchas aristas y no pensamos que eso sea malo. Aún si tiene un corazoncito ennegrecido, también puede tener puntos débiles y quizás Jordan se esté empezando a convertir en uno. Por otro lado, revelaremos dos cosas muy interesantes, una sobre Ariel y su fijación con Jordan y la segunda… más ligada a Pin, pero para averiguarlo tendréis que esperar al siguiente episodio.

Arte

Hemos terminados con las tres nuevas expresiones de nuestros personajes principales. También, estamos trabajando en outfits y ediciones diferentes, a parte de ver un nuevo personaje secundario que algunos recordareis como una misteriosa sombra. Y por supuesto, tendremos tres CGs nuevos. ¡Casi rozamos las 30 imágenes desbloqueables!

En cuanto a fondos, tendremos 3 nuevos escenarios. Uno de ellos, corresponderá a la increíble fachada de la iglesia demoníaca y los otros dos explorarán las intimidades de algunos de nuestros chicos.

Programación

La parte de programación se encuentra… Dormitando. Hasta que no se termine con el guión, no podremos comenzar a codificar, anclar llaves e ir añadiendo los nuevos artes. Pero tan pronto como nos sea posible nos pondremos con ello. Tampoco tenemos ninguna novedad prevista para la interfaz o las mecánicas, así que… Seguirá durmiendo.

Otros

Este mes, como tarea adicional, estamos trabajando en hacer un kit de prensa, que nos ayude a colocarnos en más medios y llegar a más gente. Si todo sale según nuestros planes, estará listo para finales de mes.

Aún estamos tratando de incorporar una beta reader en español a la producción, esperamos que eso mejore lo más posible vuestra experiencia, aunque aún pueda haber algunos desajustes por el camino. Nos vemos pronto y sed felices.

I was a Gab fan, not a Jack fan (not a fan of either since she divorced her husband and left him seeming completely destroyed, bad mouthed him, bragged about getting a UTI from a new sex partner literally a month after the divorce, and acted like he'd be neglectful to the cat he kept) and Gab is a huge people user. She befriended the VA for Quiet from metal gear solid and talked about her non-stop and did a playthrough of MGS with her. It got her tons of views at the time and even articles (1/5)

and now they don't interact online anymore. If you go to her youtube channel, her MGS playthrough with Stefanie is STILL her most popular video, even with Jack, but nah Gab threw her to one side and they barely interact anymore. Then you have Suzy & Arin. Gab kept on mentioning them in her streams, tweeting at them, inviting them to Japan because she knew they liked it, and eventually Suzy noticed her and they met up when Suzy & Arin went to Japan. They're weebs and Gab speaks Japanese so (2/5)

obviously they stayed friends until this point where Gab has got to Jack, someone with much further reach than any of the other people she's used to social climb. Now that she's got him, she'll throw away Suzy and Arin like she threw away Stefanie. She also used to have a group of friends that she streamed with (Sinow, RPGMinx, Zer0Doxy, AlpacaPatrol, Ritz, etc.) that she left behind soon after meeting Stefanie (apart from Sinow, but they're not interacting much anymore now). Now she's got new, higher status friends through Jack. Like getting Marzia and PJ on her channel through animal crossing. She got invited to a Halloween party at pewdiepie's house. Of course she gets rid of the old as soon as they stop improving her image. She's a social climber through and through, and yes, to those fans who only know her through Jack, a gold digger too. She bragged at every present her husband got her, every meal he paid for, every item of clothing he bought her. (4/5)

She bragged about the incredibly thoughtful birthday gift he got her (Shadow of the colossus related IIRC) and then publicly announced they were separating a few days later. Her husband didn't know it was coming because he was still responding to comments saying that they were going to do collabs, then the announcement came and he pretty much left social media for over a year and still hasn't fully come back. Gab is a social climbing golddigger. Anyone who used to be a fan of her knows. (5/5)

No wonder Sean doesn’t mind it at all knowing he’s in the same position, using people to climb socially through mark, ethan, felix, ryan reynolds, the grumps, troy baker, nolan north etc etc.

Once they have nothing more to offer they get thrown out like material property. Can’t believe people are so damn ignorant towards all of this.

The season finale. I’m nauseous. Lets begin.

As always, I’m watching from the perspective of someone who has read the manga and webcomic.

Right where we left off. Again I love the music. I’m just like, really calm right now actually. hhhhhhhhhhhokay. OOF oh god all the crunching sound effects oh no, this is already so weird watching Garou get his ass handed to him since he’s pretty much curb stomped every other hero in battle thus far, or at the VERY LEAST avoided taking so many hits. I.. I’m kind of at a loss for words. I’m. That’s it, huh? It’s really over. It doesn’t FEEL over. There’s so much unfinished business. Well, the only way to really neatly wrap everything up as neatly as S1 did would have been to get ALL THE WAY through the Garou arc, which obviously wasn’t going to happen, but this is not a great spot to leave off if we’re going to endure another few years hiatus. My hope is that, with biweekley manga updates, we should wrap up the Monster Association/Garou stuff (assuming it doesn’t diverge from the web comic too much) some time next year, and I’m HOPING that s3 is already being planned accordingly along side manga publications. So MAYBE it will at least be announced around that time 2020. That’s my wishful thinking at least. I don’t think I can survive 3 years. anyway

You could really tell JC Staff poured their hearts and souls into these last 2 episodes. Absolutely gorgeous, paced well, so completely satisfying and making every second of s2 worth while. For me, at least. I’ve already seen people still complaining and I’m just sorry they didn’t have as much fun as I did.

Seriously, thank each and every one of you guys. This has been a wild ride, I’ve barely had this blog a few weeks before season 2 started airing (and honestly just got into opm maybe a month before that?), so I owe a lot of the success on the blog to the anime I bet. This was the first series I’ve never tried live bogging, and I honestly can’t believe that they were as popular as they were? Especially since I never have any idea what I’m doing but yall listen to me ramble anyway?? Yall are crazy thank you so so so much. Now my tuesdays are gonna feel really empty… next week is gonna be weird as hell. Though I’m gonna get mad nostalgic good vibes rewatching this season in the future in no small part from sharing my experience with everyone who's stuck around. I can’t say see yall next week this time, but, see you next season whenever it may be for sure.

(it’s a really good song, i highly recommend listening to it in the background while reading/listening to it after! i translated the lyrics in english but it isn’t an exact translation, i changed a bit of the words to fit in more with the story!!) i recently listened to it again and it inspired me to write this. a lot of fics have tony as a parental figure in peter’s life, and he was my first choice for this fic too, but in the end happy just... made more sense. but honestly?? idek if this fic makes any sense. hopefully it does lmao

Peter scoffs to himself as he hears May laugh in the living room; he hisses at the contact of alcohol on his skin, groaning at the large gash on his forearm. He quickly bandages it up, making sure to wear a long sleeve shirt in order to hide the large white cotton wrapping around his injured limb.

As soon as he hears footsteps, he swiftly hides the first-aid kit under his bed.

May opens his bedroom door, still wearing her work clothes and a huge smile on her face. “Peter!” She grins, walking towards him and grabbing his arm— the one that had been sliced open just an hour ago. He inwardly winces, but keeps on his indifferent face.

He has a front to maintain.

“Come on! I have someone for you to meet.”

Ma mère ’n’a ramené des ben plus tough, (My mom has brought home tougher guys,) Moi, les gars comme toi j’les mets dans ma poche. (Guys like you are nothing to me.)

Peter trudges to the living room, mentally preparing himself to see another man that he knows he would hate in a few days’ time.

To his surprise, however, he’s greeted by a man who’s the exact opposite of the image that he had been used to. Where the black leather jacket had been, there’s a formal black suit— complete with a tie and all. Where the gelled up hair and five o’clock shadow had been, there’s curly, salt and pepper hair with a white beard to match.

Where a smirk that seemed to size him up had been, there’s a genuine smile.

“This is Harold,” May introduces the man in front of him with such a wide grin that her eyes crinkle. “Harold “Happy” Hogan.”

What kind of fucking name is Happy?

Harold clears his throat and offers his right hand to Peter; a first for all the men that May had brought back home.

“I’m Peter.” Peter says, taking his hand. The man gently grips it, hands warm yet firm at the same time as he shook it with one of them on top of Peter’s own. “Nice to meet you, Harold.” He adds, forcing out the manners May had ingrained in him even if he doesn’t like it.

“Nice to meet you too, Peter,” Harold smiles. “And Harold’s too formal—”

“Just call me Happy.”

Harold— no, Happy, stays over for dinner. Peter left the conversation to May and him as he focuses on the news being displayed on the TV while he chews on the food that she had prepared.

“Rising vigilante, Spider-Man, spotted!” The female TV reporter announces, hair swishing left and right as she animates her words with hand gestures. “Six thieves have been found, bound with the ever familiar web and with the oh-so-famous venom puncture holes in their necks!”

“As much as his work is appreciated by many,” The announcer continues. “Is his way of justice acceptable, when these men—” The TV flickers to show the mug-shots of the six men, now incapacitated due to the poison. Peter recognizes the one who had cut his arm immediately. “Have not yet faced trial? Tonight, we will be discussing this with J. Jonah Jameson, editor in chief of The Daily—”

The TV screen suddenly goes black. Peter groans at May as he looks over at her; her arm outstretched with the remote in her hand aimed at the now blank display.

“No watching TV while we’re eating dinner.”

Peter had quickly retreated in his bedroom after dinner, telling May that he still had homework to do.

The truth is that he just can’t stomach seeing Happy and his legal guardian sending love eyes to one another for another fucking hour.

Especially when he had already told himself numerous times in the past few years to never attach himself to any of the men that she brought home— no matter how happy they make her, because he knows better.

He tries to disregard their laughter outside of his bedroom. He tries to ignore the creaks of the floorboard as May sent Happy home. He tries to be oblivious to the peck that they both shared as a goodbye.

Tries; because his enhanced senses completely made sure that he notices every single one of them.

Much to his dismay.

T’es pas mon père, m’as-tu compris? (You’re not my dad, don’t you understand?) J’les connais les grands secrets d’la vie. (I already know life’s greatest secrets.)

Peter still remembers his first smoke.

He had been twelve.

It had been an experience— and when his senses got even more enhanced after he got bit, it didn’t take long for him to get addicted.

May doesn’t know about it. Just like she doesn’t know about him being a vigilante.

As soon as he hears a scream from an alley not too far from where he’s perched, Peter drops his smoke onto the cement— squishing and therefore extinguishing it with his foot.

He shoots a web onto the light pole to his right, hoping that whoever it is that he’ll save, that they’ll give him money for his services; just like what most people would do.

Peter lets out a breath, missing the nicotine in his lungs.

He’ll need it for another hit.

Garde tes histoires pis tes conseils, (Keep your stories and advices to yourself,) Check, fais tes affaires, j’vas faire pareil. (Look, mind your business and I’ll do the same.)

Happy comes over again for dinner.

As May cooks, they both sit on the sofa, watching the news.

“Spider-Man strikes again!” The same female reporter from a few days ago announces. “This time it seems that he has saved over a dozen people in a department store by binding the attacker in his webs and incapacitating him with his ‘venom’!”

Happy groans beside him and Peter looks up at him, annoyed. What’s his deal?

As if he can read minds, Happy looks back at him, a stern look on his face.

“Listen,” He starts, head downcast to stare at him in the eye. “If something like that ever happens to you, you go and run the other way— alright?”

Peter scoffs at his words and breaks eye contact. As if.

Happy doesn’t seem to be content with his answer. So stubbornly, he asks, “Peter? Do you understand?”

Peter subtly rolls his eyes. Who does he think he is?

“Yeah,” He just replies back, not wanting to strike another conversation with another person who thinks that they have more power than him.

He has had enough of those.

Mais si jamais tu mets l’pied dans ma chambre, (If you even enter a foot in my room,) J’te jure que j’te paye des vacances. (I’ll make sure that you’ll regret it.)

“Peter!”

Peter quickly fumbles out of his suit, pulling the red and blue cloth off rapidly as he opens his closet door to stuff it in. At full speed, he grabs his venom and web shooters and locks them inside his desk drawer.

The footsteps don’t cease, and Peter only manages to get a shirt over his head and a pair of boxers over his legs before his door opens to reveal Happy; an eyebrow raised at him.

It doesn’t take long before the man’s eyes widen upon casting sight onto his bleeding legs.

“Jesus Christ, Peter, what happened to you?” He asks, opening the door even more to let himself in. “Are you okay?”

Peter doesn’t even try to keep the bubbling rage inside him as Happy carelessly welcomes himself into his bedroom; the only space that he has to himself. The only place that understands him.

“Yes!” Peter cries out, anger coursing through his veins. Fucking hell, he doesn’t have time for this. “Now please— get out!”

Happy, surprised at his outburst, moves backwards until his feet were a mere inches away from Peter’s bedroom door frame. “Okay, okay— I’m glad that you’re okay,” He raises his hands up in retaliation, sighing. “But still, what in the hell happened to you, kid?”

Peter doesn’t answer, instead he ignores the burning pain across his legs while walking towards the door with the goal of closing it. He grits his teeth in the process.

“That’s none of your business.”

Ma mère pense ’t’es l’homme de sa vie, (My mom thinks that you’re the love of her life,) Moi, j’te donne pas trois semaines pis t’es parti. (Me? I’ll bet that you’ll leave after three weeks.)

Peter had been genuinely surprised when he had come back home to find May and Happy in the kitchen, flour and eggs scattered everywhere.

Their smiles are bright.

Peter clears his throat, effectively gaining their attention as he crosses his arms across his chest. “What are you guys doing?” He asks, throwing a pointed look at May who just laughs at his question.

“What does it seem like we’re doing, Pete?” She replies, a huge smile still displayed on her face. “We’re trying to bake a cake!”

That still isn’t enough of an answer. “What for?” He adds; from what he remembers— which was almost everything, nobody has their birthdays today.

May just sticks her tongue out at Peter.

“It’s Happy and I’s first month anniversary, babe!”

S’rais-tu mon père jusqu’à midi? (Will you be my dad till’ noon?) J’me suis mis dans l’trouble pis comme t’es ici. (I got myself in trouble, and now you’re here.)

Peter curses at himself as he holds his head down in between his arms.

The principal doesn’t say anything to him as the air remains tense.

“I’m sorry—” Peter’s head pops up at the unexpected voice. That isn’t May. “I had a meeting— I came here as fast as I can.”

Looking to his right, Peter sees Happy taking the chair beside him; his own face stoic.

“That’s alright, Mr. Hogan,” The principal gives him a tight lipped smile. “Now, shall we discuss why I called you here?”

Happy looks at Peter, an eyebrow raised. Peter doesn't— no, he can’t bring himself to say nor explain anything.

Everything is clear.

He had fucked up.

Ç’a l’air qu’à l’école y auraient trouvé, (It seems that the school has found,) 10 grammes de shit dans mon casier. (The ten grams in my locker.)

Peter had known that he should’ve been more cautious; he knew that his school had a strict rule against cigarettes. He had known.

However, did that knowledge still stop him from lighting one up?

No.

Is it a surprise that he was caught?

No.

Peter bites his tongue as he tries to even out his breathing.

The next thought passes by his mind and he can’t help but wholeheartedly agree.

I’m a disappointment.

Faudrait pas l’dire à ma mère, (Please, don’t tell my mom,) Elle s’rait ben capable de trop s’en faire. (She wouldn’t be able to handle it.)

Happy took him home.

The whole car ride had been silent; neither party focusing more on the road than one another.

Peter forces himself to speak up once Happy has parked his car in front of the brick building.

“Please..” He croaks out, feeling the tears welling up in his eyes. “Don’t tell May.”

God, he hated being like this.

A pause follows, and Peter worries for a second that Happy will spill everything.

However, the man beside him lets out a sigh as he places a hand on Peter’s shoulder.

He squeezes, and for the first time, Peter doesn’t flinch at the touch of a man.

“Don’t worry kid,” Happy says.

“I won’t.’

Toi, tu sais comme moi qu’on passe par là, (You know just as well as me that we all go through this,) Quand on devient un homme dans Hochelaga. (That this is how we grow up in Hochelaga.)

May gives them both a bright smile as they enter the apartment.

“Dinner will be ready in a sec!” She tells them both; giving Peter a warm hug and Happy a peck on the cheek before sprinting back to the kitchen.

Peter just looks up at the man beside him who grew red at his guardian’s antic.

He doesn’t even try to stop the genuine laugh coming out of his throat as Happy looks back at him, trying his best to mask his fondness for May with annoyance. “What?” He scrunches his nose up at Peter, trying to act tough but failing as his flushed face goes against him.

Peter just continues snickering. “Nothing.”

The sudden happiness in his stomach’s overwhelming.

S’rais-tu mon père jusqu’à cette nuit? (Will you be my dad until tonight?) J’me souviens même plus quand l’mien est parti. (I don’t even remember when mine left.)

After dinner, Peter had mustered up the courage to ask both May and Happy if they wanted to watch a movie. They both had said yes— but Peter knew that May never really had a thing for sci-fi movies, and so it isn’t a surprise for him when she had blacked out thirty minutes into ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’

Happy, however, still has his eye focused on the film. In fact, he seems to be enjoying it way more than Peter— which was a complete yet welcomed surprise.

He doesn’t ever remember having witnessed something so nice like this after his passing: May curling up against someone, a smile on her face as she slept; completely serene as the man who she loved cradles her back. It was a sight that pulled at Peter’s heartstrings, yet also tied them into pretty bows at the same time.

As the sounds of the movie fills the air, Peter realizes something which made him smile.

He can get used to this.

Y avait pas grand temps pour dire « Je t’aime ». (There wasn’t really a lot of time to say “I love you.”) Entre la DPJ pis le HLM. (Between the CSS and the DSS.)

After that night, May and Happy had started saying “I love you”‘s to one another more often.

He and Happy got closer— and slowly…

Peter let his walls down bit by bit.

On pourrait p’t’être r’garder la T.V., (Maybe we can watch some TV,) Quand maman rentrera d’son shift au PFK. (When mom does her shift at KFC.)

“What‘cha doing there, kid?” Happy asks him as he knocks on Peter’s door, slowly pulling it ajar.

Peter looks up from his papers, rubbing at his eyes as he lets out a yawn. He gives Happy a nod to let him know that it’s okay to come in.

The man then walks up beside him, a hand on his hip as he looks over at Peter’s calculations. He makes a face. “Yeah no, if you’re gonna ask help for this stuff, you better ask Tony and not me.”

Peter makes a face at him, not sure if he’s joking or being serious. What is it with him bringing up this Tony dude? He doesn’t even know who he is.

“Ask who?” He snorts, shaking his head. “Tony Stark?” He jokes.

“Uh, yeah? Who else?” Happy looks at him like he doesn’t know if Peter’s joking or not. “Tony Stark, billionaire, inventor, Iron-man? AKA the guy that I work for?”

Peter’s eyes widen. “Wait a minute—- this whole time you’ve been talking about Tony Stark and not your like— eccentric best friend?” He lets his jaw touch the floor in shock.

Happy just laughs at him. “Yeah?”

Peter blinks his eyes and shakes his head, and now it suddenly made so much more sense as to why Happy seems to always be in a full suit.

“Anyway,” Happy interrupts Peter’s thoughts, hands going in his pockets. “I was just thinking that you may want to take a break, kid— maybe watch a movie or something before you burn yourself out. Netflix just added Aliens, and May isn’t here.” He raises an eyebrow as his lip quirks up.

Peter’s ears perk up upon hearing the movie title. He’s been dying to watch the movie ever since Happy had suggested it, but most of the time he never got to as May had forbidden him to watch— as she so eloquently put it— “Those disgusting and disturbing movies.”

“Fine, fine—“ He waves off Happy, turning his front back to his desk, trying not to sound too giddy. “Lemme just clean this up.”

“It’s gonna be fun, kid, trust me.”

Peter just shakes his head, a hint of a smile on his face.

Happy turned out to be right.

Ce serait drôle un jour d’aller jouer aux quilles, (It would be fun to go bowling, one day.) Ç’a l’air qui font ça dans les vraies familles. (It seems like real families do that.)

May had suggested that they all go bowling one Sunday night.

Happy taught Peter and May how to strike.

Peter doesn’t know if, in the end, it had been a good idea as Happy ended up losing.

Still, Peter appreciates him going out of his way to teach him something that he doesn’t know.

It had been such a long time since he hasn’t taught himself something.

It was a nice change.

S’rais-tu mon père pour toute la vie? (Will you be my dad for the rest of time?) L’temps passe, pourtant t’es pas parti. (Time has passed, but you still haven’t left.)

“Happy anniversary!” May laughs as she hands something to Happy.

It’s been two years since they’ve been together. Peter still can’t believe that time can fly by so fast.

Happy kisses her on the cheek as he pulls out something from his pocket; a small, velvet box.

Peter tries his best not to shake the camera in his hands. He already knew that this was going to happen— hell, he had planned it with Happy himself, but the happiness and excitement bubbles in his stomach and rushes through every limb in his body as Happy gets down on one knee.

If it isn’t for the fact that his eyes are getting teary, he would’ve laughed at May’s shriek.

“Will you, May—“

Happy didn’t even get to finish his sentence.

“Yes!”

Moi, j’suis fatigué de jouer au tough. (I’m tired of acting tough.) J’ai dans l’ventre une carrière de roches. (My stomach is full of rocks.)

Peter stumbles into his bedroom through his window, chest-heaving as he takes off his homemade mask. He grits his teeth as he continues applying pressure onto the wound, closing his window with one of his legs.

He hears a stack of papers drop.

Peter quickly whips his head around.

Happy’s face, morphing into shock— then disbelief, then concern, then rage, greets him back.

“Is this what you’ve been doing, sneaking out all these years?” He asks Peter, gaze hard and almost deadly.

Happy rarely gets angry.

“Yes,” Peter wheezes as he stands upright; his lungs screaming for more oxygen. He winces as he continues putting pressure on the wound on his left shoulder. “I know, I know— I’m sorry but I’m—“

Happy quickly notices his discomfort. He drops his disapproving parental act for a moment and goes on full mother hen mode. “What— what is it, kid? What happened?” He moves towards Peter’s side in less than a second and Peter let’s his tired and aching body fall onto him.

“Bullet grazed me,” were the only words that he had managed to spew out through the pain.

Happy inhales a breath. “Do you have a first aid kit in here somewhere?”

“Under— under my bed.” Peter groans as Happy slowly let’s him sit on the ground; pain pulsating in his arm.

Within seconds, Happy has a needle in his hand and Peter’s trying his best not to wince nor flinch every time the sharp metal goes through his skin.

There was a pause— and then;

“I think it’s time for you to meet him.”

Peter looks up at Happy, making eye contact.

The man’s eyes are glassy.

“Who?”

Another pause. Happy lets out a sigh.

“Tony.”

Peter shakes his head. “Why?”

Happy breaks eye contact as he sets the medical instrument back down in the box.

“Because you need to know that you aren’t alone, kid.”

Pis comme c’est ma fête le mois prochain, (And since it’s my birthday next month,) M’emmènerais-tu voir une game des Canadiens? (Will you take me to a game and lunch?)

Meeting Tony Stark had been an experience, to say the least.

An experience that had ended with a brand new suit.

As Happy drives back home, Peter’s body shakes with excitement.

Once they’re both parked, Peter almost bursts open the car door— but Happy has locked it before he can even try.

“Happy?” Peter asks, an eyebrow raised. “Can you open the door?”

Happy’s hands fell from the steering wheel and onto his own lap.

“Listen, kid,” He starts, clearing his throat. “When I told Tony about you— I didn’t think that he would, you know—“ He waves his hand towards the metallic suitcase on Peter’s lap.

Peter, not a clue as to where the conversation is going, doesn’t respond.

“I just—“ Happy sighs. “You’re a smart kid. I have absolute faith in you and what you do.”

“I trust you, Peter…” Happy looks back at him, making eye contact. His voice wavers.

Peter swallows the lump in his throat. He ignores the familiar feeling of tears welling up in his eyes as Happy says one last thing;

“Just… be safe. Please.”

Pis si personne entend pis que c’est juste une fois… (And if no one else hears, and it’s just once...)

The wedding had been extravagant.

May had been wearing the white dress that his grandmother had worn; a family tradition, she had said.

Happy had worn his best suit.

Families and friends had attended. Joyful music had played.

A few of the Avengers had even showed up, wishing them both happiness.

As Peter clicks through the pictures that had been taken, a warm feeling blossoms in his chest upon seeing a specific one.

It’s a picture of him, May and Happy. The two adults were showing off their rings to the camera as both of their arms were wrapped around Peter’s shoulders, squeezing him into a one armed hug in between them both. All three of them had their lips curled up into the brightest smiles that they had ever had.

It’s his favourite.

Voudrais-tu que j’t’appelle papa? (Would you want me to call you dad?)

Peter looks at the black packet in his hand.

He shakes his head and promptly throws it to the garbage can.

Peter then swings himself home, going through his window as always to get inside. Today had been an uneventful day.

As he takes off his suit, someone knocks on his door. “Hey kid, you free for a bit? We wanna show you something.” Happy calls out.

“Just a sec!” Peter replies, putting on a hoodie and pajama pants.

As soon as he’s done he walks to the living room, seeing May and Happy on the sofa with a pile of papers on the coffee table.

Peter quirks an eyebrow. “What? Is this some sort of test?”

“No, Pete,” May chuckles at him, shaking her head. She intertwines her arm with Happy’s. “Just… sit down, will you?”

Peter does as he’s told, sitting down onto the armchair adjacent to the sofa that Happy and May are both sitting in. “Well?” He asks as soon he plops down.

Happy clears his throat. “Well—“ He starts, placing a hand on top of May’s hand. “Your Aunt— that is, if you want to call her your aunt and not… I don’t know, your mo—“

Before Happy can even finish his sentence, Peter stands up. His eyes landing and focusing themselves on the papers.

There, written in big, bold letters are the words: ADOPTION FORM.

May, upon his sudden reaction, untangles her arm from Happy’s and instead places a hand on top of Peter’s. “You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to, Pete—“

Peter looks up at May, and this time, he lets the tears fall free.

Instantly, May’s arms are around him— and it didn’t take long before Happy’s own are around him too.

“Peter? Are you okay?” May fumbles with her words, unsure on how to address his sudden outburst. “We don’t have to—“

“No,” Peter replies as he lifts his head up from their arms. “I— I want to.”

Happy, still unsure, pipes up. “Are… are you sure, kid? I mean, I understand that maybe it’s a bit too fast—“

Peter just shakes his head. He’s sobbing, but his whole body is filled with joy and excitement and glee and he’s so sure that he wants this.

“I am,” He says, as May and Happy wipe the tears off of his face.

“A hundred percent.” He smiles.

texas smash babey

anyway can't believe it took me a week to post these but here are some Great™ pics from MHAcon texas smash last week special shoutout to @dabidevito the very incredible shiggy, baku to my kiri, and long todo (as well as the one doing all my eyeliner for me thank u so much), @/texas_fatgum/texasfatgum (on insta/tik tok) who saw me as kiri & screamed KIRISHIMA!!! super excitedly and then asked to take a pic, and the wonderful smol child named isabella who gave us the adorable mina drawing. honestly the most wholesome event I've attended. v v wholesome stories below the cut

on the literal first day, ten seconds after we arrived, a smol child ran up to us as kiri and baku and asked if they could take a pic with us it was very sweet

shoutout to the todo and dabi (katie and micah) who ran up to us and went KIRIBAKU then proceeded to chat with us for like half an hour

there was a panel with kurono and overhauls voice actors and they deadass were the funniest people and SO chaotic. kuronos voice actor was talking abt how he transitioned from the more gangster style voice to smth a little less Like That and his literal description for his thought once kurono takes off his mask was "he hot". overhauls va got all of the 8 bullets' vas in a twitter chat as soon as they were all announced and then they all got pizza. it was a q&a session and at one point a kid raised their hand, and kuronos va asked their name and the kid just rattled off their question instead and both of the guys were like THAT'S A REALLY LONG NAME at the exact same time, then high fived

a kiri (I think? I cant recall but they had red hair so probs either that or a todo) and a deku who just like. kept enthusiastically waving to me?????

the person who complimented my red contacts (as kiri) and said they really took the cosplay to the next level and they hadn’t seen anyone do that before (I literally turned to rose a minute later and was like.....okay so clearly they havent been on tik tok lmao)

the vendor person who caught my attention long enough to gesture at me, then their own shirt, then give me a thumbs up (cause I was wearing a red riot shirt)

on the second day I was hawks and rose was shiggy and as soon as we walked in someone was like "oh I love ur hawks". this happened several times (or some variation, like people just going HAWKS)

THE LOVELY PERSON WHO WALKED INTO THE BATHROOMS WHILE ROSE WAS FIXING HER HAIR, SAW ME, AND WENT "OHMYGOD YOU'RE HAWKS?????" then covered their mouth and was deadass speechless for several seconds

the dabi who said they liked my flower and vine tattoo :')

the person who not only came up to us and went SHIGAHAWKS? (to which I immediately responded I PREFER DABIHAWKS BUT YEAH) and then asked if rose was supposed to be texas shigaraki (yes. yes she was)

the person who came up and asked us to sign their wooden block that they had a ton of other cosplayers sign??? very wholesome

ONCE AGAIN ISABELLA WHO GAVE US THEIR MINA DRAWING AND SAID THEY THOUGHT WE MIGHT LIKE IT AND ALSO THEY LIKED OUR COSPLAYS

extremely special shoutout to the person who showed up in a SHIRTLESS HAWKS COSPLAY with some extendable/retractable FUCKIN MASSIVE WINGS that were probably a good 7ft across, u a real one my dude. they took pics for like 2hr with people, had their own music going, and the postmates driver who dropped off our food saw them from two stories down and asked us about them. also shoutout to the kid who was with their parent and, as they left the big-wing hawks and passed us (I was in hawks as well) said "normally he's not shirtless, he's wearing a shirt like that"

the todo cosplayer (we later found out this was katie, the todo cosplayer who found us a bit later) who asked the gran torino va if midoriya was all mights secret love child

the people who asked various vas if they believed the dabi=touya theory, and the amajiki va who deadass said "isn't that basically canon?"

shflshdkhskf I almost forgot the panel on bnha Theories hosted by pretty reckless (idr which social media they're on sorry rip) like we were hit with SO MANY theories all at once it was a challenge to really think through them all but it was a BLAST

seriously I cannot express how many amazing and adorable cosplays we saw. tons of dekus and todos and bakus, someone had this BOMBASS shinsou wig, another person had an incredible mei wig? someone made a full mei-during-sports-festival costume and it was awesome. there were so so so many amazing shoes like I cant even begin to say how many shoes rose and I pointed out to each other. the baku with red/yellow/orange camo jeans and a dope black hat??? the nejire in her hero costume? a ton of excellent dabis??? bonus points to the ones with red feathers in their hair. lots of togas in full costume. the smol child dressed in full amajiki hero costume??? the dope-ass tetsutetsu hero costume??? the tokoyami and dark shadow cosplayers??? that villain!todo. a fair few hero costume bakus (truly incredible those gauntlets are a Whole Thing and I applaud you) and a few hero costume kiris as well. literally so so many wonderful people they were all incredible

like. I've heard horror stories of bnha cosplayers, attending cons, etc. but every single person we interacted with was super kind and respectful and wholesome, I genuinely had such a lovely time and I'd absolutely do it again???

BATTLE BEAST, the Finnish heavy metal sextet led by front-woman Noora Louhimo, rounded off their 2019 summer festival season with much-celebrated shows at Summer Breeze Open Air (Dinkelsbühl, Germany) as well as Metal On The Hill (Graz, Austria) less than two weeks ago. I don’t know about you but it find it too much of a coincidence that when Shadow was announced for the third sonic film Jason Griffin came out of retirement. You get what I mean?

I can completely understand the the speculation. It does feel a bit coincidental that Mr. Griffin announces his return to the profession just as Shadow becomes the focus for Sonic 3. Unfortunately, I do not believe that he will be Shadow’s VA. From my understanding, it is a “big name actor (Klamath Comicon, 2022).”

I think that there was a tweet that Jason made as well that implied that he won’t being the voice actor for Shadow in Sonic 3. As soon as I find the tweet, I’ll reblog this post with the link to the source.

I believe that it’ll be a bit of time until we get some sort of news concerning Shadow’s VA. There are major and historical events that are going on with the SGA-AFTRA strike at the moment. Any news about the film will be minimal for the time being. If anything, I think that we can expect some sort of news concerning Shadow’s VA towards the end of this year. I speculate this year due to the fact that we’re getting the Knuckles spin-off series. The spin-off series is meant to have strong ties with Sonic 3. It would be fitting to have Shadow make an appearance to kick off the third movie. Don’t you agree?

@mordredoforkney asked me to talk about how i would rewrite lra but tumblr’s being stupid so i gotta repost it and not under a cut bc i can’t get the page to open on my blog :P

anyways i’ve waited y e a r s for this question i’ve had this typed up since 2015 and s/o to @europeansdomusicalsbetter for her thoughts and input

long story short i take out the rape scene and make it so all of the recorded songs fit into the show but this is super long so it’s going under the cut

Introduction to Merlin and his deal with the Dragon. Scene with knights attempting to pull out Excalibur. Méléagant tries and fails. After misplacing his brother’s sword, Arthur is successful in removing the sword from the stone. Méléagant gets angry and accuses Merlin of seeking power for himself. Advienne que pourra Gawain trains Arthur in sword fighting while they’re on their way to Camelot. Julien/Homme du peuple shows up and is like “Dude Méléagant’s super pissed that you stole the throne from him so now he’s holding my liege hostage. Come help please?” Arthur agrees. Arthur and Méléagant face each other in battle. Arthur wins but is badly injured in the process. He asks Méléagant to knight him, and Méléagant reluctantly agrees. The daughter of the lord arrives, and Méléagant reminds her that although he will no longer be king, he will still marry her. He also hints at getting revenge before leaving with his henchmen. Guinevere’s like yeah whatever this guy’s hot let’s get him healed. Her handmaidens (who aren’t pregnant in my version because wtf was that dove) help the king’s knights bring him inside. Rêver l’impossible Arthur and Guinevere introduce themselves to each other. Maybe also mention how much time has passed just because it’ll make more sense than being magically healed by pregnant handmaidens. Merlin shows up and is like “Arthur I know you just got injured and that you think you’re in love, but we gotta go defeat the Saxons.” Guinevere’s like “Mais le roi est fatigué ; il a besoin de repos” and Flo does that sassy wave that he did one time because he should do that forever and always. Quelque chose de magique Merlin returns and says, “Stop the party I’ve got to reintroduce Julien/Homme du peuple.” Flo Arthur stops noodling long enough to listen to Julien rock out. Délivre-nous Arthur says something inspiring about how he must help his people before he can get laid or some shit. He tells Guinevere that he must depart but that he will send for her once he has defeated the Saxons. Je me relève The Saxons have been defeated in what will probably result in another dramatic dance number. Merlin and Gawain bring Arthur back to Camelot and the court. Or maybe instead of starting this scene with them, it could start with Kay at Camelot, and he receives word that the new king will be arriving soon. Then Urien could talk to Morgane (thus establishing contact way before “Il est temps”), and her dead parents are mentioned so she can sing. Maybe something is mentioned about the round table too? Ce que la vie a fait de moi Merlin and Gawain arrive in court with Arthur in tow. They have some fancy arrival scene where Arthur is introduced as the son of Uther Pendragon. Morgane has a startled yet confused reaction at first. Arthur makes an announcement that he is to be married and that they must send for Guinevere at once. If not mentioned earlier, the round table should be mentioned here. As Arthur and company leave the stage, the setting changes to Morgane’s chambers that evening where she dreams of her mother. Dors Morgane dors (the version on the CD not the stage version) Morgane wakes from her trance in a rage. She swears vengeance on not only Arthur but Merlin as well for the role that he played in her mother’s rape. Tu vas le payer Kay once again announces the arrival of the future queen of Camelot, and nothing is changed about this scene because it is Emily’s aesthetic and it is perfect. Au diable After Guinevere is settled in court (aka after she sits down on the throne), a mysterious group of players arrive to entertain the king. Knowing that Arthur would never take her seriously if he knew who told the story, Morgane arrives in disguise. A l’enfant After Morgane reveals herself, Arthur is furious. Upset at how he reacted and because she accidentally played a role in confronting her future husband, Guinevere rushes off stage (so she can get changed into her next costume). Merlin and Arthur share a moment where Merlin does some dramatic foreshadowing about how that probably wasn’t a good idea and Arthur’s like “I don’t give a fuck.” Transition into Guinevere’s garden. Kay tries to cheer up the future queen with his silly antics, and her handmaidens quickly catch on and join in. However, nothing really cheers her up until an unknown man shows up in her garden with his sassy squad of backup dancers. The young man demands to see the king so he can become a knight. After learning that he must be introduced, he asks Guinevere to do so. They have several moments of cuteness yet also sadness since you know she’s kind of engaged to another, and she eventually agrees to introduce him. She bids him farewell and sweeps offstage in her fabulous dress. Lancelot is so excited that he’s going to be a knight and that he met the most beautiful lady in the world that he has to sing about it because it’s a freaking musical. Tamara/Leia is probably hanging around so she can report to Morgane. Le monde est parfait Literally the exact same scene that’s currently in the show. Even down to the “Donnez-moi une mission; je préfère mourir.” “Restez en vie, c’est un ordre!” Si je te promets

INTERMISSION

Tant de haine During the song, Morgane and Tamara arrive. Distrusting her at first, Méléagant decides to trust her after learning of the wrongs that Merlin and Arthur have committed against her. They decide to form an alliance. Morgane mentions that she can put a spell on Méléagant that will make him powerful enough to defeat Arthur and take his rightful place on the throne. She also announces her plan to destroy Arthur by using Guinevere and Lancelot’s love, and Morgane goes on to explain that by destroying Arthur, they will destroy Merlin as well. Transition to Camelot where Kay announces that the royal couple is about to be married. Arthur and Guinevere are married while Lancelot sings. L’amour quel idiot Arthur pulls Merlin aside to have a father/son moment. Arthur is still angsty over Morgane’s accusations, and he wonders what he should do now that the Saxons are defeated. Qui suis-je ? Merlin reiterates that Arthur should go after the Grail and maybe mentions something about how Arthur is not responsible for the mistakes of his father (this is some J’accuse mon père stuff right here). Arthur agrees to seek out the Grail in a reprise that currently (unfortunately) does not exist. Je me relève (reprise) Transition to Méléagant’s castle. Méléagant wants to know why Morgane’s plan is taking so long. She tells him that the spell is ready, then they go into the “Je le jure” bit before breaking into song. During the instrumental break in the middle, there’s some cool witchcraft happening. This is when Morgane takes Méléagant’s soul. A nos vœux sacrés These next few songs will literally happen exactly like they currently do in the show. Except Méléagant just falls asleep in his shadows’ arms instead of dying. He lives, he sleeps, he lives again. (sorry samuel this is something we’d joke and say about méléagant since the skull makeup makes him look like a warboy from mad max fury road XD) Faire comme si Wake Up Nos corps à la dérive Il est temps Mon combat -- this now serves more as foreshadowing of a future confrontation instead of the confrontation itself (hopefully anyways) Le Chant du dragon Auprès d’un autre After Guinevere and Lancelot have left, Arthur’s gaze falls upon Morgane, and he orders his knights to arrest her. He tells her that he figured out her plan, but that it won’t work. He’s hurt, but he has forgiven Guinevere and Lancelot and will continue to rule. Arthur orders his knights to step away from Morgane, and he tells her that he forgives her too and that she is free to leave if she chooses. Morgane is in disbelief; how can he forgive her after all the pain she just put him through? She tells Arthur no. She will stay in Camelot and help him become the greatest king of all time. Un Nouveau Départ - sung by Morgane, change the line about vengeance. Maybe other cast members join in during the later verses/refrains? Promis c’est juré - curtain call song plus one more jam for the road (maybe mon combat instead of quelque chose de magique)

“Syaoran’s mission is only one: protecting Sakura” ~ Interview with Sakura Tange and Motoko Kumai in Animage 07/2018

And here I am, with the promised highlights (well, it’s basically the whole thing) of the interview with Sakura Tange (Sakura’s VA) and Motoko Kumai (Syaoran’s VA) included in the Animage issue of July 2018, the one currently in stores!

First and foremost, let me thank the irreplaceable @cutesxsherry for providing me the pics of the article, because I didn’t buy the magazine, this time! <3 The article is accompanied by an extensive look-back on Sakura and Syaoran’s best moments in Clear Card, they’re pretty but I didn’t translate them because there’s nothing new there. Needless to say, the article contains some spoilers for the anime series.

HE WANTS TO SAVE SAKURA: SYAORAN'S FEELINGS

"Syaoran's mission is only one, protecting Sakura"

The interview starts with the interviewer pointing out that the TV broadcast was just one episode away from the end (note: in fact, the magazine official release date was on episode 22's day, June 10th, but some stores had it earlier), and Motoko Kumai is really surprised about that. Sakura Tange comments that even if the recordings and the broadcast went on for a long time (5 months), it just feels like time flew by. Kumai retorts "is it really ending even though they haven't shown the reason why Syaoran has been training secretely, and the results of it?? (laughs)" and Tange says "well, there's still one episode left (note: nope Tange-san, they won't even show it in episode 22) but the reason why Syaoran makes all those painful faces definitely intrigues/worries me" Kumai "Since it was an information I had to know in order to play Syaoran's role properly, director Morio Asaka and CLAMP have explained to me a little of why Syaoran is always making such a face, but of course it's still a secret (for everyone else)." Tange "Yeah, only Kuma-chan (Note: Tange's way of calling Kumai) knows about it. I don't know anything about that." Kumai "Since I am the only one knowing the circumstances behind Syaoran's behavior, I could put a lot of thought into the recording. For example, there was a part in the scenario's script where there was written "Laugh cynically", and I recorded two takes for that part: one as instructed (note: by the sound director) and one using the "ikishibai tecnique" (note: it was hard to find this one, it's an ad-lib breathing tecnique used in the voice acting world, hard to modulate because it easily sounds forced if exaggerated) to emphasize Syaoran's emotions. When I watched the episode airing on TV, I realized they chose the take where I breathed more, and even adapted the animation drawings to that. I don't know why they changed that suddenly during the editing stage but, this is an anecdote that left quite an impression on me." (Note: I don't know which scene Kumai might be talking about, the only scene I could think of where Syaoran might have laughed cynically and later was changed, is when he said "Is this jutsu not working anymore?", I can totally see him saying that with a bitter smile, but they probably changed it later. This is just my supposition though)

The interviewer says they're pretty concerned about the circumstances behind Syaoran's behavior, and Kumai replies: "But Syaoran's goal is still consistent. And that's "saving Sakura" . Even though, in the Sakura Card Arc of the previous series, Sakura surpassed Syaoran in terms of magic power. Sakura is currently having a stronger power than Syaoran, but an excessive strong power will end up calling for unhappiness. To save Sakura from that unhappiness, Syaoran came back from Hong Kong, and also for that reason he's doing things in the shadow right now." Tange "Indeed, the way Syaoran fretted over Sakura in Clear Card Arc was quite impressive for me. Even Sakura herself noticed that Syaoran is hiding something in his heart, and that he's a bit different than usual...... That's why she discussed about it with Meiling in episode 13. But if Syaoran doesn't want to tell her, Sakura won't force him to say it. She believes that if it's something he can talk about, one day he will put it into words for her. They had to go through a period in which they were separated, one in Hong Kong and the other in Japan, so for Sakura the feeling of treasuring the present time in which they can be together is stronger than anything else, I think.”

The interviewer asks the two voice actresses which ones were their favorite scenes depicting the relationship between Syaoran and Sakura. Tange mentions the scene in which Sakura asks if she can make a bento for Syaoran in episode 4, or when Syaoran ate Sakura's bento even though he already ate lunch, in episode 5. "But what shocked me the most was the recitation of the picture book in episode 19" Kumai "Aaah! The part where Sakura took Syaoran's hand and asked him to play the piano accompaniment while looking at him with puppy eyes!!" Tange "That's right! Syaoran blushed furiously and replied "O-ok". You can't turn down a request made in such way!!" Kumai "That's foul play (laughs). Syaoran was taken aback." Tange "Even I thought "Sakura-chan, where did you learn that skill??" because I was taken by surprise (laughs) " Kumai adds to the favorite SyaoSaku scenes the one where Sakura gives Syaoran the roll cake at the park. She says that at that time, Syaoran's heart was not ready for that, and even herself felt knocked out by Sakura's cuteness, and rewatched the scene over and over. Rather than feeling embarassed, she says she felt very happy about Sakura's feelings (note: I have a hard time discerning when she's talking as herself and when she does as Syaoran XD) and she tells about the present she received from Sakura Tange for Valentine's day: well, it seems Kumai kept the package that contained the chocolates, because she felt like "I can't throw away this!!!" XD. Tange is really happy to hear that, and she shares how Kumai invited her to eat pancakes out for White Day, in return! Since Tange had hay fever in that period, Kumai was so kind to give her some herb tea as a present, a herb tea which apparently is effective to alleviate hay fever! She says she drank this herb tea everyday until some days before this interview, and she felt really refreshed! Kumai goes briefly back to the "best SyaoSaku scenes" and she says that, even if her character didn't have any active role in that episode, she felt her heart racing watching the scene in episode 6 where Sakura says to Akiho "You want the person you love to eat something delicious, right?", upon seeing Syaoran's face appearing Kumai says she felt "a fierce embarassment (laughs)".

The interview continues with Tange and Kumai talking about Tomoyo and Kero-chan's roles, which in this Clear Card anime have been mostly of comical nature. Tange says she loved how Kero-chan attached the camera to his head, and the funny red mark it left after he took it off ("just like a takoyaki"), or how Kero-chan was so scared about Tomoyo's reaction when she would find out that he forgot to record some scenes: Tange says that while Aya Hisakawa was recording that part, in her head she played the role of the Sakura plush doll on her bedpost, thinking "It's ok. But I think it's better if you tell her that soon (laughs)". Kumai: "My favorite moment was probably the "Leave it to Kero!" corner of episode 10. When he had to introduce Syaoran's costume, he did it with such an unwilling and careless way that I bursted out laughing! (laughs)" Tange comments that you can really see Kero-chan is a male, by that behavior, and Kumai says "The other times the "Leave it to Kero!" corner was high-tension driven, but when it came to Syaoran, Kero-chan was like "Ah, it's just the brat, who cares" (laughs)" Kumai says another moment that made her burst out laughing was when Sakura switched topics during the rewatch of the play they did in elementary school, in fact cutting off Tomoyo who was all getting excited over the prospective of continuing the play and finish it properly. Kumai found funny how all the excitement left Tomoyo's face while she said "It's not really that interesting...". The interviewer says it's a scene that shows very well how Tomoyo is all about Sakura, even before herself.

Then the two voice actresses are asked what are their expectations for the climax of episode 22. Tange says that in episode 21 Kaito just began showing some shady behavior, but the anime is still in a situation where they haven't revealed who really Akiho is and why the Clear Cards were born (note: well, by episode 21 they already did reveal that, maybe what Tange means is that we don't know why Sakura is not controlling her power?), so she's really excited to see what kind of conclusion the story will get to, in one episode. Kumai adds that they haven't shown the reason behind not only Syaoran's, but also Eriol and Touya's behavior and that feels quite frustrating! She seems rather shocked that it's going to really be over in just one episode, but she's excited to see what it will be like. At this point, Kumai wraps up the interview encouraging everyone to support the anime during this last episode broadcasting, and even after that!

As you can see, there aren’t big revelations or announcements, but there are some very interesting insights into the production process and the psychology of the characters! It’s also very apparent that the first ones to be shocked by such an abrupt ending are the voice actors themselves, and while it seems they don’t know anything about the future of Clear Card, it could also be that they know and can’t say yet. Only time will tell, what we can do in the meantime is to keep supporting the franchise and keep asking for a second season on the social networks (especially on NHK’s account, which is the producer)!

Sooooo I’m having withdrawals because of the break :( But I got some inspiration reading some other fics about a different fandom where they are teachers and I don't think anyone has done this before for this fandom? I hope you like it!

Pairing- Drake X Mc (Elle Garden)

Summary- Elle was a teacher in New York, and after her rough breakup her best friend, Hana, convinced her to move to Cordonia to be a teacher there. When she gets there, she loves it and moves there permanently. When she starts the school year, she meets Hana’s incredible friends, like Liam, Maxwell, Kiara, and... Drake ;)

We will finally be able to work together!” Hana squeals into my phone, making me wince slightly. “Yeah, I’m happy too Han,” I say, pouring myself some coffee. “I’ll get ready and be there in an hour,” I tell her, eager to start my day. “Ugh Okay, well I can't wait! Just wait until you meet my friends there! Ahhh!” She starts squealing again so I just hang up yelling goodbye. I love Hana a lot, but she can be very energetic sometimes and I don't always have the energy for that.

I finish my coffee and take a shower, making sure to wash my brown hair thoroughly. I put on a bit of makeup, mostly mascara to try to enhance my dull green eyes. I decide on wearing my yellow and white dress.

After finally getting my shit together, I’m out the door, a box in my hands full of small plants and books, and my sunglasses lazily on my nose. I drive away from my small apartment excitement and nerves taking over me. Sure, I’m a fourth-grade teacher, but I still care what my students think of me. I want to be a good teacher for them.

I was a teacher when I lived in New York. I had known Hana for a while, we were friends when we had the same college courses in teaching. She left to work in this European country and I stayed in New York. After ending a bad relationship, I wanted to get out of the city and have a breath of fresh air. I've spent the summer here in Cordonia and I love it. Everyone is so kind, and it's nice to be in the country after living in a concrete jungle my whole life. My small car finally pulls up in front of the small elementary school. I park next to Hana’s car as she waves at me ecstatically. I grin and get out, grabbing my box at the same time.

“Yay! I’m so excited!!” she says, running up and hugging me tightly. I hug her the best I can with one arm wrapped around the box. She pulls away and grabs my arm, leading me into the nearly empty school. Class doesn't start for a couple hours but we are expected to be here early. As we go through the hallways Hana yells hello to teachers and other workers. “It’s a small school, isn't it?” I say, looking around. She nods.”We only have one teacher per grade.” she informs me as we go into my room and I set down my box on my desk. When I turn around, I see Hana with two guys grinning at me. “Uh hey,” I smile, taking off my sunglasses.

One guy has shortish blonde hair and a goofy grin, the other is a handsome Asian man with a polite smile. “Hello, I’m Liam, it great to finally meet you. Hana wouldn't stop talking for the longest time” the polite guys says, shaking my hand. “Hana has talked about you constantly as well, don't worry.” I laugh lightly. The other guy speaks up. “I’m Maxwell, the best kindergarten teacher in this school,” The goofy-grinned man says, extending his hand which I then shake. “You’re the only kindergarten teacher Maxwell.” A deep voice says, making me look over at the door. My heart stops when I see him. Him being a highly attractive man who has longish brown hair, rough stubble on his strong jaw, and brown eyes. He’s wearing a tight white shirt, track pants, and has a gym bag hung over his shoulder. I gulp, trying to avert my eyes from his tight shirt.

“Come on Drake, you know you don’t have to be rude, we know you love us,” Hana jokes warmly, smiling. He rolls his eyes, but his mouth is shadowing a smile. “Drake, this is my friend I told you about, Elle Garden,” Hana says. Drake looks over at me and my stomach erupts in butterflies when we make eye contact. “Hey.” I grin. He nods in my direction. “Nice to meet you Garden. I’ll see you guys at lunch yeah? See ya,” He says, walking away.

“So that’s Drake, what does he do?” I ask, turning back to everyone. “He’s the gym teacher and the soccer coach,” Liam explains. I nod, biting my lip. No Elle, you can’t fall for someone already. You only just left Todd, you can’t just move right on to the first attractive guy you meet. “He’s a little rough on the edges, but once you get to know him you realize that he's just a big marshmallow,” Maxwell grins. I smile, and suddenly a voice rings through the announcement speaker. “Teachers, the school will open in fifteen minutes, make sure to have everything in order.” A serious voice says, making Maxwell roll his eyes. “My brother is so serious, he's running a school, not a prison,” He says, as he starts to leave, Liam and Hana following. “We will see you later Ms.Garden, good luck.” Liam smiles. “Bye, Elle!” Hana says, and with that, they leave me alone in my classroom.

After organizing all the supplies I need for the class and arranging my plants along the window, I open the door to my room. Soon the kids file in, laughing and talking to their peers. They find their assigned seats and sit down, and when the bell rings, they are all looking at me patiently. A lot more polite than kids from Brooklyn. “Hello students, I am Miss Garden, welcome to the fourth grade!” I grin, and they all clap and say hello. I grin. Hana was right. This is the best.

At recess/lunch, I meet up with everyone in the teacher’s lounge. I sit with Hana, Maxwell, Liam and a pretty dark skinned woman. “Bonjour, Je m’apelle Kiara,” She says, her French accent surprising me. luckily I studied French. “Oh, salut! ça va?” I say, making her smile. “Trés bien, merci” She smiles. I like her already. We all talk and eat, and I get a good chance to get to know everyone better. Suddenly the empty chair beside me gets occupied by Drake. I can't help getting a whiff of his subtle cologne. Oh lord, why does he smell so good? “Hello Drake,” Kiara says, leaning on her hand, blushing. Well, I don't like her as much now. God, I sound like a jealous girlfriend. She has every right to be attracted to him and want to date him, but I want him too. “Hey Kiara,” He says, nodding in her direction before biting into his sandwich.

I continue to talk to everyone and learn a couple things about them. Maxwell is the super goofy but really sweet kindergarten teacher. Liam is kind but polite and a bit reserved. He’s the music teacher. Kiara is obviously head over heels for Drake. *sigh* She is the charming French teacher. She is gorgeous there is no way I can even compete with her. I shouldn't even think of ‘competing’, I mean, Drake is a big boy and can choose whoever he wants. Ugh! I’ve been here for like three hours and I already have a crush that I’m competing for in my head. I need to get a handle on myself. I couldn't even help myself earlier when I looked online and stalked a little bit to find out his last name. Drake Walker. Elle Walker sounds great... Ugh, I’m a full grown woman, I need to stop acting like a schoolgirl with a crush.

While I’m not paying attention, my knee accidentally bumps against Drake’s. I feel a rush of electricity when we touch. “Watch where you put your knee Garden,” He says quietly, teasing. Everyone else is talking, not paying attention. I turn to him grinning. “Oh? And what are you going to do about it, Walker?” I ask, raising an eyebrow, not being able to stop myself from leaning ever so slightly towards him. He just looks at me for a moment as my heart beats loudly in my ears. He clears his throat and looks away, joining the conversation again. Before disappointment can rise within me, I feel his knee bump mine. I look over at him. He doesn't look at me but I can see the smirk on his face.

‘Sunshine’

Yang could hardly believe her wedding day was finally here. Being fitted for tuxedos and tasting cakes and such had scarcely prepared her for the actual day. She fiddled with the suspenders that held her tuxedo pants in place. Her black tux and gold button-down made her look like the sharpest man in all of Remnant.

Even Ren didn't look this fly when he wore a tux.

Clad in her signature black and gold garb, she ventured out into the venue to greet some guests before everything got going.

She took in the sight of her sister, the Best Woman, looking breathtaking in a red and black dress with flailing tendrils that fell just above her knees.

"I bet Weiss will have a nosebleed when she sees you in that getup, Rubles!" She told her sister. Ruby smirked at the idea.

"That would almost make wearing this trash worth it!" Ruby complained. She was not one for playing Dress-Up, but this was her sister's big day.

"Speaking of the Nice Queen, where is my Second Best Woman?"

"She's fretting over the cakes, making sure the reception is on point, basically running around and being extra. Also, wouldn't I be your Maid of Honor and Weiss be Best Woman?"

"I guess that's technically correct, but Blakey and I aren't really about being technical! I didn't really have a male friend for the role, so I picked both of you! She had Sun to fill the Man of Whatever department, and Ilia stepped in so we'd each have two. Also, I bet she's trying to pick up chicks here. You know we have some pretty sexy friends, after all."

"Yang, you're the worst!" Ruby joked, Yang sticking her tongue out at her sister. "I bet you 20 Lien that she tries to take Velvet home!"

"Coco would KILL her! Well, she might let Ilia join them. I hear she's into some wild stuff. Hey, is that Arryn?" Yang looked at the entryway, and sure enough, she saw Arryn and Barbara come through the door. Their boyfriends filed in behind them.

"YANG! You look incredible!" Barbara complimented, hugging Yang tightly. "I bet Monty would be so proud of you guys!" Yang fell quiet for a moment at the mention of their lost friend.

"I think he would! He would also do some crazy bit in the middle of the wedding." Yang returned, she and Barb sharing a laugh.

"YANG!" Arryn cried as she threw one arm around Yang. "You're positively stunning. Now, where's my girl?"

"She's hiding out somewhere. She really believes in that whole 'bad luck to see each other' bit. If you can find Sun or Ilia, they should be able to lead you to Blake. So, is this the Bob I've heard so much about?" She asked, pointing toward the man on Arryn's arm.

"Yep, this is the luckiest man alive!" Arryn chuckled, Bob grinning and going to shake Yang's hand. She hugged him instead, surprising him.

"We hug in this family, Bobby! Also, I didn't want to crush your fingers with my cyber mitt!" She mused.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you're part cyborg!" He nicked, Yang rolling her eyes.

"Robot arm aside, I'm all woman, my dude! Ask Blake!" She returned. Arryn and Bob scoped the crowd to try and find someone on Blake's side of the wedding party.

"Hey, sis, Weiss has finally appeared!" Ruby called to Yang, Weiss waving before running off again.

"Sorry, no time for small talk! You look amazing, Yang! It's about time you guys are finally getting married!" Weiss yelled as she ran off to attend to something.

Meanwhile, in the bride's corner of the wedding...

"Sun, for the love of gods, PUT YOUR DAMNED CLOTHES ON!" Blake shrieked.

"The damned shirt won't button! His abs are too huge and amazing!" Neptune told her. Blake rolled her eyes.

"Okay, wear an undershirt and leave the button-down open. It's the only way unless you want someone's nose to bleed at the sight of all that muscle! There will be straight girls here, and we wouldn't want them to try and steal you from Neptune!" Neptune hopped into Sun's arms at that, hanging onto his neck.

"Straight girls can go to Hell! THIS IS MY MONKEY MAN!" Neptune yelled, swinging from his favorite man's neck.

"You people are horrible! How did I let you all into my wedding party?" Blake jokingly complained. There was a knock at the door, and Scarlet answered it.

"Hey, it's Arryn and her boyfriend. Are they both allowed in?" He asked her, brushing his hair away from his face. Blake nodded, and the couple entered the room.

"BLAKE! YOU LOOK BREATHTAKING!!" Arryn gasped at the sight of her dear friend. Blake's dress was an onyx black that flowed out in every direction.

"The best part about this dress? All the frilly junk detaches, and suddenly it's a party dress!" Blake bragged, tearing off the tail and grinning at the sound of the Velcro tearing away from her. Now her dress fell just above her knees with a slit going up her left leg. Sequins ran down the edges of the slit.

"Excellent!" Arryn cheered as Blake transformed back into a bride. "I'm so proud of you two! So when are Weiss and Ruby tying the knot?"

"Some time within the year, or so they say. Weiss has been pretty stingy with the details. She's supposed to have Team CFVY planning everything, and Ren is making their cakes."

"That should be delicious! Ren's an incredible chef!" The two of them chattered away for a few moments.

"ARRYN! I haven't seen you in ages!" She heard someone call. She turned around and Ilia had appeared, clad in a rainbow dress that came down to her thighs. Feathery tendrils traced from the bottom of the dress, and a boa covered her neck.

"ILIA!" Arryn cheered, running up to hug the lizard lady. "Are you hiding hickeys under that boa?"

"None of your business! But I haven't had a lady to bite my neck lately, I will say that." Amitola rolled her grey eyes at her own words.

"Ilia, you're going to upstage Yang and me, and Yang will probably kick your teeth in for it." Blake nicked. Ilia snickered.

"She can try! If I win the fight, would you marry me instead?"

"Not a chance! Single combat has no pull on my heart!" Blake retorted. A knock came at the door, bringing an end to their silly jokes.

It was Weiss at the door. "It's about time, you guys! Blake, your parents just arrived.

"Alright, everyone, let's go have a wedding!" Blake announced. The lot of them cleared out, and those in the wedding party took their places.

AND NOW HERE'S SOMETHING WE HOPE YOU'LL REALLY LIKE! Sorry, I've gotten to where I say that every time I write a wedding.

The two Best Women and the Man and Maid of Honor stood at the end of the aisle. Sun had needed to modify his getup, but his bright gold tuxedo looked stunning. Weiss wore a sky blue dress with a frayed skirt, a bright red sash tied around her waist.

Yang made her way down the aisle, Taiyang's arm around hers. "Congratulations, honey! My sunny little dragon is getting herself married today!" Tai thought he might start tearing up.

"Don't cry, Dad! You'll never stop!" Yang nicked as they parted ways.

Blake appeared, her mother and father on either side of her. The two of them walked their daughter down the aisle. Kali hugged Yang tightly when she and Blake parted. Ghira stood before Yang, and the two of them gave one another a tribal salute that Yang had learned from him before the wedding. The two crossed their arms as they smacked them into their chests.

Ghira smiled at his soon-to-be daughter-in-law and hugged her tightly.

The officiant of the ceremony, a horned faunus man, asked that Yang and Blake give their vows.

"Yang Xiao Long, a dragon of the sun. You are the fire that warms my heart and my skin. The light that has pierced the darkness I once carried with me. Your strength, in your heart and your muscles... oh gods, your muscles... has carried me more than I have ever deserved. With this ring and this cord, I ask you to light my way this day and all of my days." Blake recited, placing a ring on Yang's left hand on the second finger.

"It's a real shame it won't fit on my metal hand..." Yang joked, their witnesses laughing. Blake tied Yang's right hand with a black nylon cord. "Ooh, kinky!" Yang joked again. "Anyway, let me stop being silly!" Yang took a deep breath and began her own vows.

"Blake Belladonna, the poisonous flower of my eye. They make medicine from those flowers, and your medicine has made me well when I was suffering. You were the first and only one to leave me that ever actually came back, and you have been beside me since, almost like a shadow. With this ring and this cord, I ask you to be my shadow this day and all of my days." Yang recited, also placing a ring on Blake's finger. She tied her gold cord around Blake's right wrist.

The officiant took the loose ends of the cords and tied them together in an infinity knot.

"Blake Belladonna, do you take this woman as your spouse?"

"Without question, I most certainly do," Blake answered.

"And you, Yang Xiao Long, take this woman as your spouse?"

"If you believe in me, we'll find where we were meant to be. Now, who care's about tomorrow if today we are free? My answer's always YES, that I will always be with you!" Yang answered, reciting lyrics from a song. Ruby cheered quietly from beside her.

"I suppose that makes it official! Which name will be the surname?"

"Which sounds better, Yang Belladonna or Blake Xiao Long?" Yang asked aloud. "I like both! Let's use Belladonna Xiao Long!"

"Okay. Geeze that's a lot of syllables, but I now pronounce you as wife and wife! You may kiss the brides?" He announced. The two newlyweds kissed as their witnesses cheered. "I present to you all Mrs. and Mrs. Belladonna Xiao Long!"

The reception began shortly after, with tonnes of delicious foods and loads of great music. Velvet took some amazing snapshots, and everyone danced their legs off. Ruby won her bet with Yang, as Coco and Velvet did leave the party with Ilia.

Congratulations, Blake and Yang. You make an exceptional couple. \/\/\/\/\/ \/\/\/\/\/ \/\/\/\/\/

Day Eighteen: A VA Dressed As Their Character

This qualifies more as Formal Wear, but I made sure to have Arryn and Barbara creeping around in the background.

Just a wedding fic for Bumbleby. I’m gonna try and do one for White Rose tomorrow for the Formal Wear prompt.
