the idea that the characters in drv3 got their costumes before they got their memories as intrinsic to the idea that they are cosplaying those characters the entire time.

the idea that you can tell how much tsumugi liked a particular character by how much effort she put into their costume (because you don't do that for a character you don't like).

Chapter 6 of Thou Shall Get Sidetracked By Bullshit Every Time (Even in a Vault) is taking so damn long because it has scenes from the TV show.

Which means I'm watching and making notes about every detail and transcribing all the speech.

Then I'm writing the fic and putting the scene in and tweaking it to make sure it doesn't seem insane and that it fits the POV.

I'll share that I'm done with the scene where Lucy leaves the vault but still need to do the council meeting scene (which is where I expect chapter 6 to end)

I know thay I'm probably the only person who cares about this extreme detail but I can't not do it.
