I don't think that arguing that Takumi never explicitly forgives Corrin in the JP version of CQ Chapter 28 is the right way to go about defending that scene anymore tbh; Takumi pretty clearly forgives them for the pain they caused him immediately afterwards, also wishing them a typical Japanese farewell as if they were just going to work at the end, implying that he's looking forward to reuniting with them if and when they pass away too:
Corrin: I’m sorry too…Your resentment is my fault. …I also wanted you to call me sister. Once this war was over, I thought it was possible to have a good sibling relationship with you. But even so… This happened. …I am truly sorry.
Takumi: No, it’s already okay. You accepted my hatred and came here. That was enough. Thank you, sister…
Takumi: Have a nice day, big sister!!
The actual defense for the scene should be that the “you accepted my hatred” line is a direct reference to what JP! Corrin said when they let themselves get hit by Fallen Takumi in the hopes that it'd fix his condition, meaning he only forgave them after he was rid of all the excess resentment Anankos gave him, reunited with Mikoto and Ryoma, was very likely informed by Ryoma of Corrin's true intentions for Hoshido after the war was over (including risking their own life and disobeying orders to save Hinoka), saw them be so overcome with guilt for what happened to him that they practically commited suicide, and had a heart-to-heart with him where they apologized for the pain they caused him, which is a perfectly reasonable way for Takumi to get over his issues with Corrin.
The localization still fucks this up due to having Takumi state he wanted to befriend them right up until he fell from Susanoo, implying he never took issue with Corrin at any point in Conquest outside of Anankos forcing him to (including while they were helping in the invasion and he had no way of knowing why they were doing so), whereas he's very blatantly reffering solely to his acting like a dick towards them in Chapter 5 in order to try and make himself look tough despite wanting to get to know them better back then in JP.
All in all, i actually prefer Takumi forgiving Corrin after dying, reconciling with his family members, seeing them sacrifice themselves out of guilt, and having a heartfelt talk with them over the defense of “oh he never explicitly says he forgives them in JP so you can't claim that he does so”, since it'd both be wrong due to his next two lines and be somewhat of a copout for Takumi to still dislike Corrin even during that scene but never express that anywhere in his tone or dialogue, whereas the former is a genuinely strong and logical conclusion for his character conflict throughout Conquest.
That's a very good perspective! I never really thought of it from that angle before, but translation does muddy things a bit. I'll have to give it some thought, since I always had complicated thoughts about how Corrin is treated by the family members and how I think it flows from story compared to supports and such

I'm sorry I'm just replaying this as an adult like man. In the presence of a certified iconic homosexual. This series means to much to me still. Used to think I was winning because in games you just win, you know, but in hindsight it's become obvious how often Edgeworth just hands you the right questions and lets you beat him sometimes even if it means shattering a major point of pride for him, either because that's less important than Phoenix not dying or because he'll throw the small battles out of annoyance. So far I'm on case 3 and still don't feel like I've had the upper hand yet but it's great. It became a thing after him that the prosecution all value some kind of internal sense of justice or other personal issue over wins, even if that's what they THINK they want, but I still think Edgeworth does it best because he's completely self aware of not even having to lie to the idiot genius protagonist to play the villain if he's just enough of a bitch about it. Takumi called him the protagonist once and I feel it now how much the player's really just on the other side of what crucial personal dialogue and huge choices this guy's masking as much as Phoenix narrates his own to you. There's a lot of the trilogy that just didn't sink in as a child because the writing's too good lmao

helloo 😊 i love your blog! ❤️ and that fanfic about mafia/gang nana characters sounds sooo good! like instead of bands blast & trapnest are gangs? i'd love to read it one day hehe <3 i've loved your previous work and i'm sure this fic will be great!! <3
awww you are the sweetest 🥺 sorry for taking so long dfjgjfd i wrote this LONG ASS answer and then my computer froze. poof. THAT prolonged this very much lol
so mafia au is inspired by killshot from surveycorpsjeans (amazing if you wanna read tho please mind the tags and its bnha), i also got her permission.
its unfortunately became too long and i might never finish it so allow me to dump the story points:
trapnest and blast are two old gangs with bloody history. blast is passed onto Yasu by his adoptive father who has taken Ren and Yasu under his wing at a young age. They grow up together, who is going to take over is the biggest unknown for the longest time until the oldman declares it's Yasu before dying. Ren is fine with it, he never wanted to be a leader. Even if he is the most skilled hitman among them.
Trapnest is notorious with their cruelty, how they don't recognize or respect anyone's territory, they just invade them. This is Takumi's father's doing. After Trapnest is bestowed upon Takumi it changes a bit. They aren't as reckless, don't rely on sheer power but much more careful and strategical. For some years, gangs remain a state of truce.
Then it's broken when Trapnest tries to take over the businesses on Blast's area.
It comes back in double the force when Ren betrays Blast and joins them. No one understands how or why. Yasu doesn't stop his brother, doesn't go after Ren's blood. Nana on the hand is a completely different story.
Now she ranks second in the mob and her only goal is to obliterate Trapnest (and Ren along the way). Yasu, albeit calmer but he isn't a pushover, you try to invade his territory, you are going to suffer the consequences.
The biggest fight mobs have seen in years occurs. Trapnest and Blast puts everything on the line. It's bloody, it's unforgiving and ugly. Nana almost kills Ren, Yasu shoots at her gun, flying it out of her hand. They lose.
Fast forward to a couple years, BLAST licks their wounds and Nana comes up with a new plan. Nobu's woman Yuri tells them there is a stripper at the club whose regular customer is Takumi for years. It's weird that Takumi keeps coming back to the same place for years considering how much of an open target that makes him. This girl is so much more than a stripper and if Takumi has a weakness then Nana wants to use it.
Her plan is pretty simple, go to the club, pretend to be a customer and make the girl talk. She knows mafia men has this habit to give so many unnecessary info to their woman, you can see it clearly with Nobu and Asami. Girl can practically demolish the entire gang because Nobu babbles post orgasm.
Mai, intel of the mob finds that her name is Nana, she is a 25 year old who is working there since she was 19. She tells them there is another stripper; Shin, whose patron is Reira.
It's quickly decided that Nana will take the boy and Nobu the girl. They go to the club, 'Nocturnal'.
Kyosuke is the bouncer, Junko is the barmaid (hello Junko's room). They aren't very integral to the story I just want to tell you they are there. The club itself isn't very lavish. If there was an annual mafia convention, it wouldn't be held there for sure.
Nana looks around the room, pretty jaded, annoyed with loud music, then she sees her. Hachi is on top of the poll, rotating slowly upside down. She is wearing lace, baby doll pink, her platform boots are white. Nana thinks she looks like a princess rather than a stripper.
"Nobu, beat it." she says. "I am going to take the girl." Nobu isn't happy about it (he thought the girl was pretty too after all) but he resigns. Yasu takes Shin instead, not trusting Nobu to act interested enough to not to raise suspicion.
Nana requests Hachi to a private room. "Oh, Princess?" a man with long hair notes down. Princess. It's so cliche Nana can't help but roll her eyes but it suits the girl, she thinks.
Hachi arrives at the velvet room and the show begins.
Nana doesn't want to raise suspicion but she isn't here to see Princess shake her ass either. She comments on Hachi's name (rather sarcastically) and Hachi pouts. "Let's hear your unique name then."
"My name is Nana."
Hachi almost loses her balance but doesn't give her real name. Smart girl. That's okay, Nana will learn everything there is to know about her. She will list her favourite colors, she will send her mom flowers.
Nana quickly gathers that Hachi is more or less a spoiled brat, despite being here to serve Nana, she manages to be demanding. She should be a terrible stripper. But she is also cheerful, laughs like bell chimes, witty and smart. Incredibly charming. Nana understands. She gets why Takumi keeps coming back, she thinks it's impossible to be around this woman for so long and not to fall in love with her. If Takumi had a heart of course.
Nana is going to steal her from Takumi.
so i will leave it at that and if i am certain i won't be able to write this i will elaborate. I have so much love for this story. Sometimes I sit on ideas for years before finally writing them lol
some more things:
BLAST's inner circle: Yasu, Nana, Nobu, Mai (intel), Shion and Miu. Of course Ginpei and his undying love for Yasu is also there.
TRAPNEST: Takumi, Naoki, Reira, Ren, Mari, Kinoshita. dishonorable mention: Narita
this fic also includes:
my endless devotion to Yasu and his bald head
some steamy scenes of Nana and Hachi
Nobu having a huge, crucial role at the mob
Hachi unknowingly being the biggest piece for a decade old gang war
Yasu and Ren's complicated brotherhood
Nana and Ren's betrayal
Asami and Nobu's prejudice of her being a sex worker
Shin and Hachi's relationship
Takumi's wrath
Miu being the baddest bitch

☁️"I'm sorry Tamaki, but I'm not feeling well... I think I'm sick".
☁️Tamaki ran to your room as fast as he could.
☁️After checking your temperature and other symptoms it was clear you had a cold.

☁️He placed a wet cloth over your forehead and made you some tea.
☁️"Here, take this after the tea, it will help you fall asleep".
☁️You soon fell asleep and when you woke up it was already sunset.
☁️Your boyfriend had fallen asleep next to you
☁️He was sitting down on a chair with his head on your head, one his arms was acting as a pillow and his other hand was holding yours.
☁️You smiled and placed a kiss on his forehead, waking him up.
☁️"Y/n? Are you feeling better?"
☁️"Yes, thank you for taking care of me".
☁️"You don't need to thank me, it's your birthday after all."
☁️"Still... I love you!".
☁️His face was matching the sunset now.
☁️"I love you too".
Tumblr media
Mirio Togata

☁️"Y/n? Please talk to me y/n!"
☁️"Calm down Mirio, she's not dying it's just a cold".
☁️It was your birthday and you and Mirio were supposed to spend the day with Nejire and Takumi.
☁️But when he went to get you this morning, he found you collapsed.
☁️He was fast to bring you to Recovery Girl and call his friends to check on you.
☁️"Nejire's right Mirio, I'm okay... Recovery Girl said I could go back to my room now, can you help me?"
☁️Mirio refused to let you walk and carried you in his arms.
☁️"Get better soon y/n! I'll call you later". Waved Nejire.
☁️"Take good care of her Mirio".
☁️Well, he did take good care of you.
☁️He made you some soup and spoonfed you, making sure you ate all of it.
☁️Watched the times you should take your meds and even helped you with those too.
☁️God, he's doing his best
☁️He's cracking jokes, trying to make you laugh.
☁️It doesn't work.
☁️But you're happy to see your boyfriend trying so hard and you can't help but smile.
☁️You end up falling asleep while talking about random things with him.
☁️When you wake up Mirio is nowhere to be found.
☁️"Maybe he went home...".
☁️As soon as those words left your mouth, Mirio opened your room's door.
☁️"Oh you're awake, sorry I left you alone." He shows you some bags he was carrying. "But I went shopping.
☁️He bought you your favorite snacks, movies, a small cake, and some candles.
☁️You were so happy you could cry.
☁️"Hey y/n! Don't cry, only smiles today!!"
☁️You spent the rest of the night together, watching movies and eating some snacks.
☁️Mirio even insisted on spending the night and cuddle.
☁️"You're gonna get sick...". You tried to argue as he laid down beside you.
☁️"Don't worry about that, it's gonna be needed more than a cold to slow e down". He said kissing your lips.
☁️"Happy Birthday Y/n! I love you".
☁️"Thank you Mirio, I love you too".
☁️He had a cold the next day.

Hello! I’m re-reading Nana and I realized I’ve never really understood a thing, so I would like to know your opinion since I really like your analysis. The day before dying, while he was talking to Takumi, Ren said he wanted to leave Trapnest, because he didn’t want to get the band into trouble because of his drug addiction. Then the day after, while he was driving his car and talking to Hachi on the phone, he said he was going to bring back Reira because he wants to protect Trapnest. I’ve always been confused about this: do you think Ren in the end was really willing to leave Trapnest? Sometimes I have the impression he wanted to get back Reira as his last “gesture of love” towards Trapnest, like to say “I will leave before getting you into trouble, but before I want to be sure you’ll be all together and will continue even without me, because I owe you this since you’ll be my mates and my family for 3 years”. Maybe because I am convinced that the mysterious present for Nana is a recorded melody that she would have transformed into a song, considering the fact that during his conversation with Takumi he said he wants to leave Trapnest even because he missed Nana, and he thought about the moment when she yelled at him “Stop writing songs for another woman!”.  On the other hand, sometimes I feel doubtful about Ren’s real intentions. Maybe he wanted to bring back Reira and then follow Takumi’s scheduled program to quit on drugs and return with Trapnest, even knowing that Nana would have hated him for this? It would have been pointless to try to quit on drugs if in the end he would have not solved the problems that brought him to take drugs.  I’ve always wanted him to get back with Blast, because I support Kinoshita’s thought: I want to hear Ren Honjo’s cry of the soul! It’s when Ren plays punk music that he shows all his talent.
Sorry for the looooong post, I hope you will have time and will to answer! ♥
I always have time to answer you @placebogirl7!!  I’m so glad to see you around lately, even though I know the circumstances right now aren’t… the best.  I hope you and yours are all safe and healthy and remain so.
You bring up a lot of interesting points though!  My view, just from re-reading volumes 19-20 just now, is that Ren was quitting Trapnest but because he wanted to but because he didn’t want his drug addiction to harm the band’s image.  Part of that image is making sure that Reira doesn’t run off and potentially harm her own public image.  I think he is going to going to fetch her for Trapnest’s image and for Reira’s sake - as Ren says earlier in that conversation with Takumi, Reira is his best friend/soulmate (fan translations say soulmate, Shojo Beat’s version says best friend) - so I don’t think it’s mutually exclusive in that instance that Ren wants to protect the band by leaving and go bring Reira back.
I’ve thought about it for the last few days but I don’t think Ren thought about Nana saying “Don’t write songs for other women!” because it was his reason he wanted to leave the Trapnest even in part tbh.  I think he thought about Nana in that moment because the reason he can’t quit is because taking them makes being apart from her bearable (not to mention not taking them puts him into withdrawal which inhibits his ability to play the guitar).  I also think he has trouble facing Nana because he is so deep into the drugs that he can’t bear to let her see him like that.
But I also think that things had changed since Ren had that conversation with Takumi and promised to leave the band and Ren leaving to go bring Reira back (and I think even his final talk with Hachi on the phone might have changed his perspective of the situation too).  So I don’t know that Ren would have gone through with leaving Trapnest if it’d have harmed Trapnest’s public image more than staying.  If Ren hadn’t died… I have no idea if he’d have left the band or not.
I talk about it a lot but I think to understand what Ren would have done we need to see the conversation Takumi and Ren had when Ren first left Blast for Trapnest.  What was Takumi’s pitch that made Ren believe in Trapnest so much?  Was it simply Reira and her voice?  In that case it has a lot of implications about Ren’s belief in Nana’s voice.  As you said, Kinoshita wanted to see Ren’s soul cry in his music, in a way that it wasn’t in Trapnest.  So what was it that made Ren join Trapnest??  I know a lot of people thought it was just the fame and a once in a life time opportunity but… I don’t see that?  With the Ren we know, I don’t believe it.  There’s something more to the story imo.
I know I’ve been talking about it a lot lately but I really do think a Ren side story chapter was planned and would have answered that question.  The other bonus chapters were building up to it, I think.  Naoki’s story told Trapnest’s origin story, as well as Ren’s.  Nobu’s story told Blast’s origin story, but was less about Nana and Ren and more about Nana and Nobu - the two without whom there is no Blast.  Takumi’s told us why Trapnest even got an origin story - Takumi’s need to protect the one good thing in his life, Reira and her voice.  These stories changed absolutely nothing in the main story and yet…. they changed everything and I think a postmortem Ren chapter would have as well.
I also think knowing what Ren’s gift to Nana for her birthday would also answer an entirely different but related set of questions too.  Unfortunately while I think whatever it is is somewhere textually in the chapters we have, I haven’t the foggiest what it was because there are so many possibilities.
But I gotta say I hadn’t realized I’d been wanting that for some time myself… For Ren to play with Blast even just one more time!!  We only ever see Ren and Nana play music together in the prologue.  For a couple who love their music it’s a travesty!!  And to hear Ren play punk on top of that… And yet, now I realize with the amount of scathing Ren feels for Kinoshita when ever he says such things I wonder if I hadn’t been belittling Ren’s feelings for Trapnest and why he wanted to play with them above anything.  Because it all comes back to why did Ren leave Blast for Trapnest in the first place?  But even without an answer we know that Ren did feel absolutely loyal to Trapnest for his own reasons.
Eheh, no worries on the long ask… sorry for the long reply that basically amounts to “It’s a mystery~”  But thank you for asking and anyone else!!  Feel free to chime in with your own take!!  Here or on the NANA & Ai Yazawa discord!!!!
Here’s today’s (4/6/20) Discord invite link if you haven’t joined already: https://discord.gg/7KMKyF

asks last night made me think about female tertiary riders. since yua is one will this become a trend? no way to know. but then I was like “ok going back which previous characters would have worked just fine as women?” and I used the list of tertiary riders from tiermaker bc it’s not an official designation and there’s no canon list
Tumblr media
kivala: self-explanatory
mage: self-explanatory. although I actually think if the other two mages were also women that would annoy me more bc it’s like oh women can be riders but only off-brand burlap colored ones. I see
delta: was a women in canon, briefly, off-screen. if she had stayed alive as a character instead of dying for takumi’s manpain that could have been interesting. the guy who ended up as the delta user was so boring that at least if he were a woman that would be something to stand out
snipe: thinking about nico snipe here. but in general i have no problem with the idea of a weird annoying woman who lives in an abandoned hospital and gets bullied by her teenage protégé
chalice: why not. feral woman in the process of rehabilitation who threatens to fucking kill people but warms up due to family and friendship? that’s good. it would also make people read kenzaki and hajime’s relationship as overtly romantic
todoroki: we just need more dumb female jocks in the world
den-o rod form: I dont consider the various den-o forms to be different riders but they’re on here so. I also already forgot why I put ura in this category. oh it’s bc I think his role within the group is kind of to make plans and wrangle the others which is often a feminine role anyway
den-o axe form: just for the yukata open to the waist with bandaged chest under vibe
necrom: that guy already basically has the character arc of a spoiled princess who learns about the real world
kuuga (onodera yuusuke): just why not. there isn’t anything about yuusuke that i think would become weird when applied to a female character instead. the fandom reaction to a female yuusuke I don’t know about. tsukasa/yuusuke shipping might become very big but also the number of people who think she is quote yuuseless unquote might increase too
woz: I think woz could be a woman. it doesn’t break the cardinal rule that a woz is a woz so it’s fine. woz’s slavish devotion towards sougo might become more unpleasant coming from a woman towards a man but I think it would be mitigated by woz clearly being evil and having insane woz motives
zolda: talked about this last night. I do think it would be good. also it would make that huge hilarious gun cool and sexy bc it would be like the valkyrie cannon scene in ragnarok
gills: a woman who’s a feral loner who screams and punches people. a swamp wife. sounds good to me
hoppers: hell hopper sisters anyone? they’re already such stupid and ridiculous characters that switching their gender wouldn’t trouble me. in fact it might even be a victory for feminism
leangle: I put him in maybe bc everyone in the entire show already dunks on him constantly so if it was “everyone is rude to the only female rider all the time” that would be no good. although if hajime is also a woman.. hmm...
drake: I think female daisuke would have to become a heterosexual woman bc so much of his character is hitting on babes and I dont think toei would allow an out and proud lesbian hero. in 2007 especially. but a flirty and stupid woman who always gets saved by her kid sister could be done well or poorly
zangetsu: somehow the idea of takatora being a woman in a position of power whose employees are all plotting against her bc she;s a huge dumbass doesn’t sit right with me. but there are no huge red flags so. nee-san is single and doesn’t have a husband
gridon: dont care about that guy maybe if he was a lady I would
bravo: oren’s a flamboyant gay man, so translated to a female character she would become a butch lesbian. butch lesbian who was a private military contractor but settled down for her dream of running a bakery is less good to me as a plot but I think I could deal bc oren doesn’t just give up on fighting
I dont even remember who this next guy is. oh knuckle. all i remember about him is he was kinda gay s maybe it would be bad to make him a woman bc then she would just come off as straight
chaser: gouchase becomes canon. theres maybe some weird stuff that might arise with a female chase but not worse than anything about medic so whatever
raia: I actually dont think tezuka should be a woman but I’m not mad about it so I didn’t make a category just for him. I think it becomes more cringe for a woman to dramatically die for shinji and I also think now that tezuka is canonically gay we shouldn’t erase that. even if female tezuka is a lesbian it’s still like wow another dead lesbian
lazer: female kiriya being like “ohoho I flirt with you but I also lie all the time” would come off different. people already portray kiriya as a fox in fanart but if she were a lady you wouldn’t even be able to find fanart without ears and tail. however I do want to see a female character who dresses exactly like kiriya
grease: I like the idea of a rough and tumble farmer lady who’s always going around with her boys. the mii-tan thing could be better or worse, depending. full on lesbian kazumin is worse bc it makes her obsessive horny lesbian who can’t take a no. kazumin who is theoretically a straight woman but just really loves mii-tan as an idol could be ok
rogue: i forgot his name. sorry gentoku. gentoku as a female villain who defects for a reason other than ~love~ would be good. but gentoku being secretly obsessed with ugly fashion is somehow bad to me in a female character
ryugen: no. we cant. no.
sasword: why did I put him in this category? well I think his comical and contrived failures to understand how the world works come close to crossing a line at times already and if tsurugi were a female character there is no way that it wouldn’t be used to infantilize and sexualize her in a creepy way. I thought about that scene where tsurugi dresses as a schoolboy and the outfit’s too small. that was already weird and unnecessary. I imagined it as an adult woman in a too-small schoolgirl uniform and I said Absolutely Not

Hello, have the scripts for comics I wanted to make when I first started using Lewn, got L!Azura, Taku got brave bow+, and Joji ‘retired.’ But, you know, my hands can only draw so much.
So this is context for comics and relations at the moment, in case yall are lost since I didn’t DRAW THESE.
--Jeorge meets Lewyn--
(Game context: During a grand conquest, my units were dying left and right because of poor placement. Lewyn was trapped behind a wall so he would only defeat the units that spawned right in front of it. Jeorge got closest to the fortress, but he couldn’t kill the Corrin standing there in one hit. So I used his turn to break down the wall and Lewyn hath been released.)
Jeorge: [running towards the fort] Where the Hel is everyone.
[aims at Corrin]
Jeorge: Damn. [Stops in front of a wall] Her defense is too high.
[melody playing from behind the wall]
Jeorge: ...Lewyn?
Lewyn: How are you, Jeorge?
Jeorge: Have you been hiding there this whole time?
Lewyn: I can’t believe you think that lowly of me.
Lewyn: The area you’re standing in is empty because of me.
Jeorge: [patting the wall] Well, I need more than one area cleared by you.
[one brick pushed out and the wall crumbles]
Lewyn: Now, why did you go and do that...
Jeorge: [pointing behind to Corrin] Get rid of her, please.
Lewyn: Only because you asked so nicely~
[meanwhile]
--New Bow--
(Game context: I gave Taku brave bow because... Idk seemed like a good idea. he’s like not fast at all but I was giving him a lot of bows)
Gordin: KOUHAI! TAKUMI KOUHAI!
Takumi: I told you not to call me that.
Gordin: Then what do I call you?
Takumi: MY NAME.
Gordin: Okay! I have gift for you, from senpai to Takumi!
Takumi: Brave bow?
Gordin: You said that you’re fighting for two. That means twice as many arrows!
Takumi: Oh...thanks. I’ve never really used this before.
Gordin: [GASP] THAT MEANS I HAVE TO TEACH YOU!
Takumi: No, you do--
Gordin: I AM YOUR SENSEI, YOU ARE MY STUDENT!
Takumi: He’s not listening...
--New Training--
Gordin: [pacing about] This is all so sudden. From senpai to sensei in a blink of an eye.
[turns around]
Gordin: Since you know all the things Mr. Jeorge has taught me, that means I have to teach you my own methods!
Takumi: Yippee?
Gordin: [rubbing chin] The leaf thing is outdated. That means I must make a new curriculum.
Gordin: Shoot through here. [okay hand]
Takumi: What?
Gordin: It’s just like a target except with the risk of injury.
Takumi: I’m not doing that.
Gordin: Do you have confidence in your aim!
Takumi: I do but the risks are to--
Gordin: DO IT!
[shoots arrow right into gordin’s palm]
Gordin: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Takumi: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
[Gordin and Takumi screaming in the background]
Niles: [behind a tree] Ah, so Jeorge was actually a babysitter...
--The Real Doubler--
Lucius: What are you two doing? You’re lucky Leon came and got me!
Leon: If I didn’t get you, Niles would have just let them stand there screaming for hours.
Niles: And I would be laughing for all those hours.
Gordin: [sobbing] I’m sorry Takumi, I’m a terrible teacher. How can I teach without my good hand!?
Takumi: Eh...you were just excited to help me. I really appreciate you giving me your bow. Maybe we can train together when you’re all better.
Takumi: As equals, not student and...sensei.
Gordin: That sounds nice. But if I can’t teach you won’t be able to shoot double the arrows.
Kravice: [offscreen] That’s where you’re wrong!
Kravice: [on Legendary Azura’s ride] Sup guys, guess who finally learned the importance of dancers!
[a day, maybe, later]
--Aether Keep Rearrangement--
(Game context: Aether Keep editing is fun, just nothing but traps.)
Lewyn: Hello, Jeorge, enjoying your “break?”
Jeorge: Barely. I still hold the job as representative, so I still have to deliver messages to other realms, assist in gauntlets, and defend this place from invaders.
Lewyn: At least it’s cozy up here. [counting on his fingers] Got an inn, a park, places to shop, hot springs, and a library. What’s really missing is somewhere to eat.
Jeorge: It’s far from relaxing. The set up of this place changes constantly. Not to mention the traps.
Lewyn: What tra-- [Lewyn promptly falling through a trap door]
Jeorge: Lewyn!
--
Lewyn: [freaking out] WHY IS THAT THERE!? WHY IS THAT JUST THERE!?
Jeorge: Blame Kravice. He says it’s ‘fun.’
Kravice: [offscreen] I actually said ‘funny.’
Kravice: [on Azura’s ride] I get a lot of great snap shots with all my set ups.
Kravice: [turning around the tacticians tablet revealing a photo of Lewyn on top of Jeorge] Who do you think would benefit more from this? Anna or Nina?
Lewyn & Jeorge: >:^\
[A week or so later]
--Quadrupler--
[four arrows in the target]
Gordin: And in one swift motion you’ve shot 4 arrows into your foe’s back!
Takumi: I honestly thought my hands would be too small to hold all the arrows.
Gordin: If I can do it, so can you! [jazz hands]
Kravice: [offscreen] Taku!
Kravice: [Azura safely lands her horsey] I need you to come with me!
Takumi: You...need me for something?
Kravice: I’m gonna nab me another Michalis, so I need some fliers
Takumi: But we learned last time that arrows have no effect on him.
Kravice: [sparkle] That’s why we have Azura.
--XD--
[in the skies]
Ryoma: Takumi, you’ll have to take care of Michalis.
Takumi: But why? You’re more suited for this.
Ryoma: Look around you, Takumi, this is the only viable option.
[cuts to Michalis covered in arrows with hp bar at exactly half]
Takumi: Even with Azura’s boost and all these arrows, I barely got him to half HP
Azura: <:^) Cheer up, okay. [gives taku another turn]
Takumi: [zoom in on stats] :0
Takumi: [turns to azura] XD
Azura: ....Okay, maybe tone it down a bit. [that finger pinch thing]
(game context: I have a video of a damaged taku getting danced by azura and it’s just exactly this)
--New Rep--
[Krav barging through the front doors, triumphant]
Kravice: Oh baby! I can’t believe my strategy actually worked! Good job out there, Taku!
Takumi: I...I gotta go! [runs away, redfaced]
Kravice: Compliments really do drive him crazy...
Alfonse: Kravice, I have urgent news.
Kravice: Okay? What is it.
Alfonse: Jeorge is stepping down as our representative.
Kravice: WHAT! BUT WHY!
Alfonse: He said...he’s tired of you.
Kravice: ...ouch...
Alfonse: We need a new representative. Someone who can bring up morale and encompasses the spirit of our castle!
--Camus’s Tit--
Kravice: [pacing the tactic’s room] I started learning to strategize for him and now he’s bailing like that!
Alfonse: I don’t think your tactics are the only reason.
Kravice: I’ve done nothing but give him the worlds!
Alfonse: Well you’ve also killed him over two hundred times and fatally injured him twice that much
Kravice: But that’s less frequent now that I’m strategizing!
Alfonse: To be honest, Jeorge tolerated you much longer than I could’ve under your orders.
Kravice: What are you trying to say, Al.
Alfonse: You are...you...should really consider finding a new representative.
Kravice: Fucking! Camus’s Tit!
(context: That was my ingame name for a bit pshs)
--
[nowaki’s castle]
Nowaki: Hello--
Camus: [one(1) boob exposed] I have come with greetings from afar.
Nowaki: [slowly closes door]
--
(watching from afar)
Alfonse: I don’t think--
Kravice: Why do you take things so literally!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn’t write a script for these next parts but here’s what was gonna happen:
Sentimental stuff, Jeorge passes the torch of representative to Taku, Krav approves, big ol ModFam moment and Party.
Month or so later, Jeorge starts getting bored just relaxing in the Aether keep and wants to travel still. He finds out he’s going to be in a gauntlet, and since Taku is representative at the moment, he’s the one to assist Jeorge in the gauntlet. You all know what happened with the gauntlet. <3
Jeorge comes back out of retirement but only for guantlets and just scouting worlds. He has an attachment to gauntlets pssh. Taku vows to protect him from getting hurt. They agree to be equals and protect each other when Jeorge decides to join battle.
For now, Jeorge chills in the Aether Keep with the Reserves (Lucius, BK, Lewn, L!Azura, etc) aka: units I use when I have to because they’re actually kind of built. Although, I’m using Lewn more and more because of his stupid infinite.
That’s how the plot/timeline is going so far. I have so much story to tell but agh my hands, but I hope these scripts are good enough context for why character focus and groupings are shifting and stuff.

takumi + “i think you might be my soulmate” under the cut !!!
Tumblr media
When Anna shakes your hand for the first time, she flinches but in good form, she doesn’t let go. Instead, she tells you that she’s never met someone with such cold hands before. In good form, you smile and tell her you understand.
You’ve been cold all your life. Back home, people teased you for wearing sweaters in the summer, jumped back at the brush of your skin against theirs, and worried over whether or not you were truly alive. People didn’t like the cold, and you understand.
But that doesn’t make it any less lonely.
❛ ━━━━━━━━━・❪ ❀ ❫ ・━━━━━━━━━ ❜
The days in Askr get easier as time goes on. It took a bit of time to adjust, and while it was dizzying—this was, after all, your first time being summoned to a different world—you managed. You found that the Order and its heroes were more than willing to support and accommodate your ability as a tactician every step of the way. You’ve also made more friends that you can ever hope to make. While that makes you happy, the touch of your skin remains as icy as ever—a jarring reminder of your apparent loneliness.
Despite knowing about the cold chill that seems to encase your entire being, the Heroes are always surprised over how _cold _you truly are when they touch you for the first time. Some are polite enough to keep their reactions to a minimum, some (Merric) think it fascinating, and some (Shareena) exclaim to the high heavens and snatch their hands away from your grip in alarm. Even Feh, the messenger owl who absolutely loves to receive pets and snuggles, knows to jump away from your touch when you come to collect the orbs from her nest.
“I’m sorry,” you tell her, dropping the orbs into a pouch. Feh coos softly in response, as if to say she understands, and hops towards your retreating hand. She alternates between looking at your hand and you face, fixing you with such a sorrowful expression that it makes you wish that this job could fall on someone else. Someone who could _actually _give her the loving she deserved. You sigh, and give her a small smile, a promise of someday dying behind your lips as you take a peek into the pouch of orbs.
You run through the list of Heroes and weapon types of your army in your head, trying to find the holes in need of filling. You suppose your lack of bow users has been a problem, especially with all the flying dragonstone users Embla seemed to have around lately…
Okay, you tell yourself, already making your way to the summoning circle, a bow user it is.
With the colorless stone in place, you load Breidablik up with orbs, take a deep breath, and send out a call. When you feel that familiar tingle in your veins, when you hear the whisper of a voice in your head, you take aim, and you fire.
There’s a burst of light, and suddenly the room feels unbearably hot. You can feel the beads of sweat running down your body, moving underneath the layers and layers of clothes you have on. It’s an unfamiliar sensation, one that leaves you uncomfortable in the stifling confines of your clothing. You desperately need to get out of it.
So, you do.
Even before the light clears and the white dots that speckle your vision disappear, you move to shuck off your robe and your sweater and your second pair of pants and the three layers of socks you have on because gods the heat was cooking you alive.
The “Are you… okay?” that comes while your sweater is halfway off your body causes you to yelp and struggle with the fabric currently caught in front of your eyes and tangling your limbs. There’s a small clatter and the sound of footsteps before the Hero you summoned very graciously helps you out of your self-appointed cloth prison, albeit roughly.
When you see him for the very first time, he’s eyeing you warily. His brown eyes are narrowed, and his long hair follows the minute movement of his head as he turns to take in his surroundings. That was fair, you suppose, his first interaction with you did involve you immediately taking your clothes off right in front of him.
“Sorry,” you say, adding a little nervous laugh for good measure as you wipe the sweat from your brow, “It just got really hot all of a sudden.”
He snorts, but the sound is neither mocking or disdainful. “I’ll bet. You’re wearing enough clothes for three people.”
Like a well practiced speech, because at this point it kind of is, you introduce yourself and the Order of heroes, and explain the situation to him. Once you’re finished with your explanation, a noncommittal sound leaves his lips. He takes a moment to think, before he says, “Alright. I’ll help.”
A smile spreads across your lips when he introduces himself, and on instinct you reach out a hand to shake his. When you touch and you feel his hand against yours, your chest is suddenly filled with a warmth that blooms outwards, curling and coiling around your body until it coats you like a second skin.
When you were little, you were told that the colder a person feels, the farther away their soulmate was. You never would’ve thought that yours was worlds apart.
You meet his eyes, and they hold the recognition you know he sees in yours.
“I think you’re my soulmate,” he tells you, and you understand.
For the first time in your life, the chill of your touch is nowhere to be seen.

Takumi faints from archery practice due to exhausting himself from overworking himself with training and waking up to his love Corrin in their bed chambers, which he sees she is very upset with him from doing something so reckless.
How about a sort of fluffy sort of angsty one shot for TakuKamu? Like Takumi is the one on strict bedrest with Corrin trying to keep him from hurting himself any further. But his inferiority complex gets the better of him and it just makes him feel worse so its up to Corrin not only to keep him resting but also to make him feel better?
I’m combining these two requests because they’re JUST BRILLIANT TOGETHER.
Reluctant Rest
Takumi/Corrin
Beads of sweat caked acrossTakumi’s brow as he drew his bow taught under the blinding sun. He released asharp hissed of air that whistled between his teeth. Ignoring the heat, theburn of the sun and his muscles, Takumi honed his impenetrable focus. He straightenedhis stance and let the arrow fly.
Thwack!
The arrow lodged just outside thecentre ring of the target. Takumi clicked his tongue, scowling at the myriad ofarrows dotted around the bullseye. His aim was off. It wasn’t good enough.
He wasn’t good enough.
Takumi swiped the sweat beadingon his forehead and huffed, stomping over to the target to retrieve his arrows, glaring under the harsh scrutiny of the sun. His muscles ached in protest.Swallowing the dry burning in his throat, Takumi yanked out each arrow andunceremoniously tossed them into his quiver. He marched right back and took uphis stance again. Arrow notched, bow taught, Takumi levelled his eyes at thetarget. He blinked. A haze washed over his vision. He narrowed his eyes, blinked again as the world dipped beneath his feet.
Everything went black.
Takumi’s head burned. His throatburned. His body burned. The scorching heat behind his eyes was unbearable ashe peeled them open, squinting and blinking back the tears that formed. A drycroak rasped from his throat as he tried to speak. His head swam, aching bodyobjecting as he tried to sit up in the bed he’d found himself lying in.
“Lord Takumi!” Hinata and Oboro’scry sounded too loud. Too close, as if their voices were ringing inside hisears, inside his head. Takumi groaned, squeezing his eyes tightly shut at theonslaught of sound. His head throbbed.
“Here, have some water,” Oborooffered, toning her voice down this time.
Takumi grunted, cupping hisforehead as he opened his eyes for a second time. It took a moment for hisvision to clear, for him to blink through the searing heat behind his eyes andmake out the cup of water Oboro was holding out to him. With Oboro and Hinata’shelp, he sat upright and hastily gulped down the water. It provided only afleeting relief from the dry ache in his throat and was gone as quickly as ithad soothed.
Clearing his throat through thepain, Takumi looked up from the bed to find that he was in his room. The lastthing he remembered was training in the archery.
“How’re you feeling?” Hinataasked. He and Oboro watched their Lord with sympathetic concern that tightenedTakumi’s gut into an unsettled knot.
“Fine,” Takumi huffed, running ahand through his fringe. At the sceptical looks on his retainers’ faces, hechanged his answer to, “better.”
“You had us worried,” Oboro said. She took the empty cup off him and gentle placed it on his bedside table. “Wedidn’t know what to think, seeing you collapsed in the archery like that.”
He’d collapsed.
The churning knot in Takumi’s guttightened. “I just fainted, that’s all. No big deal. I’m fine.” He made sure tospeak clearly despite the rawness in his throat, brushing off their concern.Throwing the light sheets off his legs, Takumi swung them over the side of hisbed and made to stand.
“Whoa, you can’t get up!” Hinataobjected, holding his hands out to stop Takumi standing up. “You need to rest!”
Takumi swatted away Hinata’shands. “I said I’m fine.”
“You didn’t look fine when wefound you.” The worry in Oboro’s tone made Takumi wince infinitesimally like atiny needle had stabbed into his heart. The guilt drove it in deep, deep anddeeper still.
Takumi stood despite Hinata andOboro’s defiance. “You don’t have to worry about me.” He pushed through their worrieddemur, brushed off their concerned protests. “I’ll be fine.”
He was fine. He had to be.
Takumi had taken but a singlestep towards the door when it swung open. He barely had a moment, a splitsecond, to grimace before Corrin rushed over in alarm.
“What are you doing out of bed?”Corrin chided, placing a cool hand over his brow as she looked him over in afretful glance.
Takumi swallowed the bite in histone and snatched Corrin’s hand away. “I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not.” Corrin levelleda calculating glare at him. “Someone who’s fine doesn’t faint in the middle oftraining, doesn’t have a fever and doesn’t cry out deliriously in their sleep!”
Takumi’s heart plummeted, drivingthe needle of guilt further, further, plunging it right into his core. “Well,I’m feeling better now,” he reiterated, trying not to snap at her. She was justconcerned. Just worried about him.
A torrent of nausea swirled inhis stomach. She was worried becauseof him.
Corrin placed her hands on herhips and planted herself in his path. “Well, I don’t believe you. You’re headstill feels hot. You’re not going anywhere until you’re better.”
“What!” Takumi scoffed. “I can’tjust sit in here and do nothing.”
“You won’t be doing nothing, you’ll be resting.” Corrin’s glaresoftened but remained firm and noncompliant. “That’s important too.”
Takumi huffed, ignoring the wayhis throat clamped tightly at her words. “Resting in here when I could be outthere training or helping or anything else!”
“What good is training if it’sonly going to make you worse? You’re sick enough as it is!”
“You’re not listening to me,”Takumi bit back. The throbbing in his head was pounding like a drum, like ahammer striking into his forehead to the racing beat of his heart. “I said I’mfine, so I’m fine!” He made to push past Corrin when he was shoved back by ahuge claw slamming into his chest. He stumbled, his legs colliding with the bedand sending him sprawling onto it on his back.
“I’ll listen to you when you stoplying to me!” Corrin’s voice broke. Takumi stared, in shock, as if he werewinded, as if the force she’d shoved him with had done anything but unbalancehim on his already unsteady feet, at the tears streaking down Corrin’s flushedcheeks.
A pensive silence descended overTakumi’s room. All that could be heard was the quiet sobbing from Corrin as shetried to calm herself, as she dabbed away her tears with her fingers. Oboro andHinata decided that this wasn’t the place for them and slowly, silently, edgedout of the room and shut the door.
Corrin drew a sharp, quaveringbreath, her eyes fixed on the ceiling. Her hands trembled into fists at hersides.
“Corrin–”
“Do you know...” Corrin cut himoff, beginning quietly, her voice like a whisper in the silence of his room.“Do you know how worried I was when I saw you…?”
Takumi’s heart stopped.
“You were just lying there.”Corrin swiped away a tear that trickled down her cheek. She inhaled deeply, still not looking at him. “You didn’t respond and we couldn’t wake you. Youwere burning up and then crying out in your sleep and– and I couldn’t doanything.”
Takumi had no words to say. Evenif he had, a heavy lump had wedged itself into his throat. His fingers knottedinto the bedsheets beneath him.
“It was just like that time backin Nohr. When you got sick with that fever – when you were dying. I couldn’t do anything then and I couldn’t do anything now.”Corrin’s eyes fluttered closed, anguish drawing her brow, her lips, tight. “I’dnever felt so hopeless in my life.”
“I… I’m not dying, Corrin,”Takumi reassured her gently, softly. “It’s just a fever.”
Corrin sighed. Her lips wobbledas she looked at him, a sob leaping from her throat before she could stifle it.“I know. I just… I just wish I had noticed sooner…”
Takumi’s throat tightened.“That’s not your fault. I… I didn’t want anyone to know.” He breathed a sigh, ashamed at telling her, ashamed of hiding it for so long.
“But I know that. I know you’re like this, that you hide things andbear them by yourself.” She shook her head and looked away, her voice droppinginto a quiet, soft tone. “I’m supposed to be a leader; I’m supposed to lookafter everyone but what good am I when I don’t even notice that the person Ilove is suffering in silence?”
“What good am I when I don’t tellthe person that I love when I’m suffering?”
Corrin raised her head and lookedat him. A shameful blush colour Takumi’s cheeks as he stared down at his lap,his words lingering in the air.
“Takumi…” Corrin’s heart ached. She stepped closer, drew herself over to him and sat beside him on the bed, taking one of his hands in hers. He squeezed her hand in return.
“I’m sorry,” Takumi apologisedsoftly. “I shouldn’t have hidden this from you.”
Corrin nodded slowly. His handwas warm. “Why did you?” There was no accusation in her question, only concern, only understanding.
She wanted to understand.
Takumi sighed. His throat burnedas he exhaled deeply. “I… I felt weak. Pathetic. I’d already been sick and aburden to you before and I didn’t want to admit that it was happening again. Ithought I could push through it. Guess I was wrong.”
“Everyone gets sick sometimes,Takumi. You can’t help it when it happens.”
“I know, I know,” Takumi huffed. “Ijust… didn’t want to worry you. I hate feeling like this. Like a burden, like Ican’t take care of myself.”
“You’re not a burden, Takumi.”Corrin squeezed his hand gently. She shifted closer and Takumi raised his eyesto meet hers. “You’ll never be a burden to me. Never.”
Takumi nodded, though it felthard to believe. As much as his heart wanted to accept it, wanted to believeher words, his gut still felt heavy and tight. Churning sickly. “Bit hard tobelieve when I’m going to be stuck in here ‘resting.’”
“You know I rely on more thanjust your skill as an archer, right?” Corrin said. “There are more ways thatyou can help out than training yourself.”
Takumi frowned. “What do youmean?”
“Well, for starters, you’ve got akeen eye and a sharp mind,” Corrin began, a small smile finding its way ontoher face as she spoke. “And you’re a decent cook as well. You’re intelligent andhave great instincts in battle. I was actually wondering if you wanted to studystrategy a bit more. I could always use a second opinion before we head offinto a fight.”
Corrin’s seemingly endless praiseand compliments sent a rush of heat up Takumi’s neck, to his cheeks, right tothe very tips of his ears. He could hardly believe she was talking about himlike that.
“You… you really want my helpwith that?”
Corrin’s smile brightened. “Ifyou don’t mind. I can bring you some books on strategy for you to read. Leorecommended me a ton but I’m finding them difficult to get through.”
“Oh, so you’re just passing thebuck onto me then,” Takumi said, raising an eyebrow suspiciously.
“What– no, of course not!” Corrinprotested until she saw the twinkle of mirth in Takumi’s eyes and pouted.
Takumi laughed, though it endedup causing him to cough. He cleared his throat and said, “I may as well readthrough them. Not like I’ll be doing much else in here.”
Corrin nodded happily. “I’llbring them to you when you’re fever’s gone down a bit. I don’t want to overworkyou when you’re supposed to be resting.” She reached over and placed her handon Takumi’s forehead, her lips curling in concern. “I don’t think you’re feversgone down at all. Your face still feels very warm.”
Takumi felt warm. Especially withCorrin so close, practically leaning over him on his bed.
“Here, let me try something. Don’tmove,” Corrin said, inching closer.
Takumi’s heart stopped, hisbreath catching in his throat as Corrin dipped her face towards his. A protestleapt into his throat, mouth dropping open as a flood of heat, a rush of warmthlike lightning, coursed through his veins. Her breath dusted across his lips. Takumisqueezed his eyes shut instinctively, his mind screaming at him to stop her, toprotest, to do anything but stop her from kissing him when he was sick but hecouldn’t move, couldn’t speak with his heart in his throat and he waited forthe inevitable press of her soft, soft lips against his.
Corrin’s forehead touched his,and for a moment Takumi waited and held his breath. His heart roared in hisears. Just as soon as their foreheads touched, Corrin shifted away.
“Nope, it still feels warm,” shesighed.
Takumi’s eyes fluttered open. Heblinked at her, unable to comprehend what in the world had just happened. “Wh-What?”
Corrin sighed. “Camilla told methat if you really want to check someone’s temperature than you should testwith your forehead, not your hand. She said that your hand can make theirforehead feel warm so you should compare it to your own.”
“That’s what you were doing?”
Corrin looked at him. “Yes. Whatdid you think I was doing?”
“I… well…” He pressed his lipstogether, a shameful flush of heat burning his cheeks. Corrin was looking athim so innocently, so expectantly, that he had no choice but to answer her. Helowered his voice to a whisper. “I thought you were going to kiss me.”
“Oh!” Corrin’s cheeks flushed adark crimson. She stole her eyes away and worried her lips together. “S-Sorry…I-I didn’t… I should’ve told you what I was doing.”
Gods. Seeing the adorable flushon Corrin’s cheeks made Takumi want to kiss her. He cleared his throat anddesperately tried to push that thought away. He definitely didn’t want to makeher sick. “No, no, it’s– it’s fine.” His voice cracked, rising to a strangepitch that he couldn’t hide. They both avoided the other’s eyes, both thinkingthe same thing. Both wanting something they couldn’t.
“I-I should get going,” Corrinsaid hurriedly. “I was meant to tell Sakura when you woke so she could get yousome fever medicine.” She got to her feet, finding that she was still holdingTakumi’s hand and dropped it quickly.
“R-Right.”
Corrin turned and made for thedoor, stopping suddenly in her tracks after taking a few steps. She paused. Herhands tightened by her sides. Takumi opened his mouth to ask what was wrongwhen Corrin moved and her lips were pressed firmly to his cheek. He didn’t havetime to process what was happening. How she’d whirled on her toes and closedthe gap between them in a second, how she’d leant over him swiftly and planteda kiss to his burning, crimson cheek, lingering long enough for Takumi to feelthe softness of her plump, rosy lips.
Corrin stepped back quickly, hercheeks as red as his. “That– That’s a down payment. For later. When you’refeeling better.”
Takumi blinked at her, his mouthfalling agape. He could still feel the press of her lips, his skin burning, sizzling, as if her kiss had branded him. As if she’d marked him as hers.
Corrin ducked her head and turnedto leave, only to have Takumi capture her hand. With a burning flush and hisheart soaring in his chest, Takumi took her hand and pressed a firm kiss to theback of her knuckles. His lips lingered. He looked right into her eyes as hekissed her hand, as he drew his lips back slowly enough that his breath dustedher fingers. Corrin’s gasp was music to his ears.
“That’s my down payment,” Takumisaid, finding his voice breathless and heavy. “For later.”
Corrin flushed as if she were theone with the fever. She nodded stiffly, a bashful smile curling her lips. “Okay.”
Takumi released her hand as ifelectrified by it, as if the sudden realisation of what he’d done had sent ajolt of magic through his body, right down his spine. With a final wave, Corrinleft the room quicker than she’d tried to before. Her legs wobbled beneath herand she braced a hand against the door as if winded. As if Takumi’s kiss, thesweet, daring touch of his lips on her fingers, had stolen the air from herlungs.
In the silence of the hallway,Corrin lifted her knuckles to her lips, her eyes squeezed shut as sheremembered the heat in Takumi’s eyes, the hazy longing that seared her to hervery core.
Alone in his room, Takumi cuppedhis face in his hands and groaned to himself. His face burned. His heartflustered away in his chest as his mind returned from its enchantment. She’denchanted him. She must have. Or it was the fever. He was still delirious. Hewasn’t thinking. There’s no way he would’ve done something like that if he were in his right mind.
Her voice, tinted with embarrassment, rang in his ears.
“That’s a down payment. For later.”
A kiss on the cheek as downpayment… for what?
Takumi’s heart raced. He felt asthough he were going to combust at the very thought.
His fever wasn’t going togo down at this rate.

This may be an odd request, but if it’s not too much trouble, may I get a modern ABO leokumi fic where Leo just becomes really obsessed with Takumi’s scent during his first pregnancy? I sorta headcanon that in all ABO verses that omegas gain a sweet milk undertone to their original scent from the time the pregnancy is detectable, and I imagine Leo would just become enamored with it while Takumi is just really weirded out. Again, sorry if this request is a little odd, but thank you in advance.
I definitely thought I posted this, because I finished writing this like two weeks ago but oh well, I finished it now! Side note, but I did not realize Tupperware is a proper noun. Learn something new every day.

That bastard.
He shoved another spoonful of mashed potatoes into his mouth and grumbled under his breath. He’d been too annoyed to wash the few dishes they’d managed to unpack, so instead he’d spent twenty minutes digging through cardboard boxes to find one clean piece of flatware he could use instead.
Don’t unpack anything! We won’t be living here for very long.
Leo said that six months ago! But his mate was too busy to go house hunting, and he was cooped up in this tiny box of an apartment and crammed in with mountains-upon-fucking-mountains of everything they’d ever owned. He’d already ranted and raved about it over the phone to anyone and everyone that would listen to him, but it was a new city so at the end of the day he was still stuck in this mess by himself. If they’d been moved into an actual house he could have at least occupied himself with unpacking during the day until Leo got home from work.
Speaking of his mate...
Leo promised he would be home by six. It was nearly nine now. He didn’t know why he was surprised; Leo was always late. But it was Friday night and he’d promised he would be home on time to take him out to dinner.
He was going absolutely stir crazy. He wasn’t allowed to leave the house unless he was on suppressants or pregnant, and unfortunately he was currently neither of those things.
Fuck it. Maybe I should just tell Leo to shove it, we can start trying again later.
The little white bottle sitting on the kitchen counter called to him with its siren song of pseudo-freedom. But they were finally at a point in their lives where a baby was possible. Out of school, and Leo was making good money with this new job. More than what they’d been making combined, so he’d quit his job teaching and they moved several hours to the city without a second thought. They’d been able to comfortably bank one of their incomes for the past three years with a little frugal living, and it was more than enough for a down payment on a nice house. Three bedrooms, two baths… White picket fence and dog included.
Well, if either of them were actively searching the housing market. He’d told Leo to just get a real estate agent, but his bullheaded Alpha was convinced he could do things by himself, but he worked far too much to even look at properties. So it was looking like it would be up to him to find an agent.
And although he was itching to get started, there wasn’t much he could do about it until those little pink sticks in the bathroom started reading two lines. There were a lot of things he couldn’t do until Leo finally knocked him up, including going out to a nice dinner without his mate. He was finally going to get out of the damn house for once! He’d really been looking forward to it, too! Leo had made reservations at a little Italian place down the street that he’d been dying to try ever since they’d moved in, but here he was shoveling cold mashed potatoes into his face and watching reruns of some trashy wedding reality show.
He checked the time. It was already ten o’clock, and the sun had long since set, and the only light in the room was the blue glow of the television set.
I’m gonna kill him.
The front door clicked open a little while later. Frustration finally hitting it’s boiling point, he twisted around and chucked the empty plastic Tupperware container in that general direction. It connected -- if his mate’s angry swearing was anything to go by -- though it bounced off relatively harmlessly and clattered to the floor with a wholly unsatisfying thunk.
“Asshole.”
“What the fuck Takumi?”
He slammed the front door shut behind him, rattling the thin walls and probably waking up half of the people on their floor. Well, at least he wouldn’t have to wonder if the neighbors hated them or not.
“You said you were going to be home hours ago! Where the hell were you?”
“Work! Where else would I be?”
“I haven’t left the house in two weeks! You promised that you would be home on time!”
“And that gives you the right to throw things at me?!”
“It gives me the right to be upset!”
“Look, we have this huge deadline and everyone has been working late. My boss wasn’t going to let me leave early just because my mate is grumpy.”
He could practically hear the eyeroll in his Alpha’s voice. Takumi’s fingers curled tighter around his spoon, and his mind went completely blank with rage.
“Grumpy? I’m fucking furious! Why don’t I lock you in the house for a months on end and see how much fun you have with it?”
He got up off the couch and crossed his arms over his chest, glaring straight up into his mate’s eyes. Leo had a good eight inches on him, but it had never bothered him. Even if he had to crane his neck up he never backed down from a stubborn Alpha.
“You’re being completely unreasonable.”
Leo was infuriating. It was always “You’re being unreasonable”, or “You’re too angry right now”, or “it’s not a big deal” but it was! And it didn’t stop being a big deal just because Leo didn’t want to handle it!
The blonde had already retreated under that emotionless mask he’d spent so many years cultivating. Weren’t they supposed to be over this by now?
“I hate it when you do that. With your face I mean, if you’re upset then say something!”
“The only thing I’m upset about is the fact that my mate is throwing a tantrum like an immature child.”
“Fuck you!”
“You started this.”
“Is it so wrong of me to want a mate that keeps his damn word?!”
“Would you rather I get fired? Then what would we do? How the hell are we going to support a baby like that?”
“Ugh! You-- You’re impossible!”
He threw his dirty spoon down on the couch — He hadn’t even realized he’d still been holding it — and stormed into the bedroom. It was pretty impossible to put a lot of distance between them in their little one bedroom apartment. Normally he wouldn’t have minded the tight quarters, but he’d been getting testier the longer they tried for this baby.
He burrowed under the covers, still fully dressed, and tried to cool his head.
Leo only waited a few minutes, just long enough to put his work things away and the dirty dishes into the sink before he crawled into bed behind him. His mate wrapped his arms around his waist and nuzzled the back of his neck.
He sighed. He never could stay mad when Leo nipped at the back of his neck like that.
“Why can’t you just let me be angry? You aren’t playing fair.”
“All’s fair in love and war my dear, and as I recall I still love you.”
“I’m sorry for throwing things at you.”
“I’m sorry, I should have called you when I found out I’d be staying late. I keep forgetting that Sakura and your mother aren’t a fifteen minute drive away anymore.”
They were both so used to operating under the relative freedom that his heat suppressants allowed… Sometimes he even forgot that he couldn’t leave without taking them until he was half way out the door. Before they moved he could call Sakura or Mama up to keep him company, but now he was all alone in this new city.
“I know you can’t help it.”
His mate continued nuzzling along the side of his neck, far longer than he usually did.
“Um Leo? You can stop now, I’ve calmed down.”
“You smell… Really sweet.”
“You’re starting to freak me out.”
“Love… I think you’re pregnant.”
“What?”
He tried to pull away, but Leo’s nose was still firmly planted against his neck. His mate’s warm breath danced over his skin and made him shiver, though it wasn’t a wholly pleasant experience this time. Leo was acting very… Weird.
“You smell different.”
“Are you just saying this because I’ve been emotional? Because I swear--”
“No, really! I think you’re pregnant. Do you still have some tests in the bathroom?”
He shuffled out of bed and practically ran to the bathroom. Leo stood to follow him, but he slammed the door in his Alpha’s face before he could dare. He was still a little upset, and it was always so embarrassing to take these things in front of him.
“Takumi!”
“Talk to me in five minutes!”
He tried to occupy himself until that short amount of time passed, but it was excruciating. They’d been doing this for almost two months, and every time it had ended in disappointment. He could practically envision Leo sitting on the edge of the bed just outside the bathroom door, anxiously wringing his hands and trying to pretend like he wasn’t also worried.
“Leo!” He called out around the three minute mark.
“Yeah?”
“If this is negative and you got my hopes up then I’m going to kill you!”
He wasn’t still mad. Nope, not one bit. It was merely a joke to break the tension...
Gods, five minutes had never gone so slowly before, had it?
The second his timer went off he snatched the little pink stick off of the counter.
Two lines, clear as day.
He tossed the bathroom door open, and before Leo could even stand up he tackled him and knocked him flat on his back. Takumi pinned his shoulders to the bed, legs on either side of his waist.
“Is this a happy tackle or an I’m-going-to-kill-you tackle?”
“Happy, definitely happy.”
Leo beamed up at him with the most brilliant smile. It’d been awhile since he’d seen it, and gods he hadn’t realized how much he missed it. Takumi closed the gap between their lips and kissed him repeatedly, in excited little bursts. When he tired himself out, Leo wrapped his arms around him and drew him flush against his chest, nose buried in his hair.
“I can finally leave this damn apartment! First thing tomorrow we should make an appointment with the doctor… And we can start buying stuff for the nursery! We should probably pick a color scheme…”
“Mhmm…”
“Oh come on Leo! I know you’re just as excited about this as I am!”
“Sorry, love. You just smell so wonderful right now.”
“Stop being weird.” He pushed himself off of the bed and headed for the front door. “Well? Come on, get your wallet! You still owe me dinner.”
“Dinner? It’s nearly eleven!”
“I’m sure somewhere is open. Besides, you’re the one that kept me and the baby waiting in the first place!”

I am sorry for being so greedy… 😭 May I send in 🔫 and 🔪 for Takumi x Megumi?? Your writing is so good and is totally my cup of tea! Love it!
It’s okay!! you’re not being greddy !! Of course you may send it in and ahhh thank you for the compliments and the ask !!!
🔫 - Mafia AU
Takumi was one of the greatest dons inside the mafia when he turned into an adult. He was very famous not only because of his strength or the talent of his leadership- his money and his looks also caught the attention of many. Currently, he and his wife had a couple of children- but they were trained inside other famiglias. Smaller famiglias. This was for their safety because the famiglia of Takumi was greatly targeted because of the bounty.
He fully trusted his child and their capabilities. He knew that despite being at a young age and even if they were under training, they’d somehow reach a level as high as him, maybe even greater. He might hve been protective, and he made people keep an eye of his child to make sure that they could be saved if the situation calls for it. He may have trusted them, but this was a dangerous life.
He wasn’t the kind of person to smoke, even if a lot of people in his age did, especially if they were a boss of a famiglia- but he was the type to drink. He made sure that he only drank as much as he can handle. He took a sip of alcohol from his wine glass as he looked up to the sky, his thoughts still all about his child.
The door behind him suddenly opened, and he chose to look at the woman who just entered the his room. He observed the figure that entered, but he immediately knew who it was once he stared at her face. It was his wife, the love of his life.
“Takumi?” She walked over to the table and she settled down the papers on it. “Are you okay? You’ve been drinking more than usual.” She went over to him and ruffled his hair. “Is there something wrong? I could help you if you need anything…” She was always helpful to him, and people should remember that despite her kindness, she was one of the greatest sharp shooters in history- also one of the greatest medics as well.
He patted the spaced on his left side and his wife sat down beside him. He wrapped his arm around her and leaned on her arm, his eyes closed and sighed softly. “There’s nothing wrong, Megumi. I’ve only been thinking about our children.” He answers her question and he gave her a tiny kiss on her cheek. “Just worry, you don’t need to overthink about me.”
Megumi smiled slightly even if there was a slight blush on her cheeks. “Our kids will be able to succeed…” She began hugging him, letting her husband rest on her chest. “Just believe in them… It was a hard decision for me too… but I know they can do it.”
🔪 - Yakuza AU
Megumi held a gun between her hands and she began peeping from the side. She should be careful because they were inside enemy territory. they were going to get paid if they were able to take down the gang who was currently mugging thing from the most famous places in Tokyo. Her eyes was able to catch someone behind the wall and she had to move quickly if she would want to defeat him.
She went forwards and she quickly took the shot and she was able to avoid a couple of bullets but there was still a bullet that was able to go to her skin, causing an injury on her arm. She only breathed heavily because of the adrenaline dying down once she took the shot. 2 floors left, and she’ll be able to see the gang leader.
The wound on her arm began stinging, but this was nothing compared to the injuries she got because of training with the other people inside the Yakuza just to prove her worth. She turned on her communication to talk to the rest of her gang. “3rd floor, cleared...” She mumbled softly to the microphone and she got a response from one of the more experienced ones in the gang.
“Good job, Tadokoro. I’ve cleared the second floor, let me get to you.” He quickly replied, wanting her to be informed as soon as possible. This was no other than Takumi Aldini, who used to be a part of the Italian Mafia. Once the connection was turned off, Megumi gripped her gun tighter, ready to shoot someone in case there was a back-up.
She soon heard a few steps coming and it was no other than the person who replied to her. He held a gun and he went to her as fast as he can. “Takumi-kun... I’m glad you’re here.” She smiled at him and Takumi stared at her before smiling back. He was thankful that she was safe since she did a risky move.
“I’m glad to see you as well.” He looks around before he shoots some people who were in hiding in the stairs area. “But we should hurry. More people might come.” He ran through the staircase and she followed and they brought down enemies one by one, and he was amazed every moment she showed her true potential. “You know, Tadokoto. You’re amazing at this.”
She blushed at his compliment, but she continued to keep her pace up. “Thank you, you’re great too... I’ve always looked up to your talent.” she admitted something to him and he ended up flustering but because of what they were doing right now, he couldn’t stop to look at her face and thank her.
“What a coincidence. I always looked up to how great you are.”

Summoner Éire
~/Start Pre-Prologue\~
“We hope to see you again.”
“Thank you come again.”
“Good mourning”
“Goodnight”
‘It’s been three years since I’ve moved here from my old hometown, and I’m glad I did, but It’s so boring.’
….
The black haired girl thought as she sighed locking the front door of the small coffee shop with a small amount of tips in her pocket. She breathed out a puff of air, as she checked her phone, it was 10:49 2/1/2017, tomorrow was the day that Nintendo and Intelligent Systems would release the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes.
The young women smiled to herself as she had, luckily, gotten the day off tomorrow. It took her thirty minutes to get back to her small abode. As soon as she got there she heated up some leftover pizza from the other night, despite it being a small town she was grateful about there being a pizzeria in the town. Finishing up her meal, the fair skinned woman slipped out her clothes and into her pajamas, laying down in her bed and let sleep engulf her.
---
“Can you hear me? Hello? Are you okay? Oh Good! I thought you wouldn’t wake up. Can you tell me your name, mine is Anna”
“É..Éire.”
“Nice to meet you.”
---
Éire jolts up in shock looking around her surroundings, noticing that she was no longer in her bed but in a large meadow with beautiful flowers. Switching focus, Éire looks over to the red headed woman.
“W..Wait, how did I get here, what am I wearing? Where am I..?” Éire askes quietly as she slowly gets up.
“It worked, I summoned you here! Oh Great Hero from another world! Thou hast come so far to fulfil your role in our legend!”
“Excuse me?” Éire questions, but is completely ignored as Anna keeps going.
“For our kingdom now stands on the very brink of ruin, and thou… And thou… Hold on, are you really our Great Hero? You really don’t look like the ‘thee-and-thou’ type.”
“First of all, I don’t think I’m your ‘great hero’, secondly, where am I? Do I know you from somewhere?” Éire asked as she holds her head in her hands, her green eyes flicking around erratically.
“Oh right, I’m sorry. You’re in…” as she started to explain where they were, a man with an axe comes running into the field a look of murder in his eyes.
“FOUND YOU!”
“Drat.”
“wat”
“How did one of those Emblians get here already?”
“wat??”
“Stand back! I’ll take care of him somehow!”
“WAT?!” Wide eyed and screaming Éire looks between the axe fighter and Anna.
“SOMEHOW?!” as Éire is freaking out, she feels a small buzz in her coat pocket, reaching in she discovered her phone, and it was on.
“What is going on..?” As she’s observing what was going on, on her screen, there in plain sight she could see a map and Anna as well as the axe fighter. Somehow… She moved Anna towards the center of the map. Her turn ends, the enemy moves towards Anna, his turn ends.
“Now, Attack!” What? She cautiously moves Anna to the axe fighter, causing her to attack the fighter. “What just happened..?”
“Whew! We took care of him.” Anna says walking back towards a bewildered Éire.
“My name is Anna. I’m the commander of the Order of Heroes.”
“The order of what?” Éire asked tilting her head to the side while rubbing her neck, just now realising that her neck hurts.
“The Order of Heroes, we believe that Heroes should live free. Our enemies, however, enslave them-the fiends.” Anna explains, setting her axe on the ground, leaning against it. “This realm has gateways to the worlds Heroes are from. Have you heard of the World of Awakening?”
She shook her head. “How about the World of Birthright? Or the World of Conquest? There are so many more!” Éire stared at Anna with excitement.
“Do you have a library by chance?” Éire askes as Anna nods.
“Yes you’ll love it! Now where was I? Oh right. The Emblian Empire invades those worlds and binds their Heroes to service. We fight for their freedom!” Anna says as Éire clasps her hands together.
“Well I’m glad I was summoned here, this is so exciting. Hey could you do me a favor?”
Éire looks at Anna, “Pinch me.”
“O..Okay.?” Anna walks a bit closer to Éire slowly reaching out to pinch her. “OW! Okay so this is not a dream…okay…continue.” Anna looks at her weirdly, but continued.
“That was the Emblian army that we just encountered. I was desperate for help. I performed a summoning ceremony. And you just appeared out of nowhere.” Anna said as Éire looked down.
“Lucky us! But we don’t have time to breath! First things first. I summoned you with the divine Breidablik. That’s the name of the relic I’ve brought.” Éire examined the gun looking relic.
“What does it do?” She questioned, only to have Anna shrug in response.
“It fires something out of it, according to legend, but Breidablik doesn’t look like any bow I’ve ever seen.” Anna said handing it to Éire.
“It looks like a gun.” Éire said examining it closer, “A clunky looking one at that though.” she finished looking back at a confused Anna.
“A what?”
“A weapon that shoots something out.”
“Oh, well the legend also calls it “the true key,” which, if raised high, will summon the Great Hero who can fire it.” Anna says watching Éire look it over once more. “That’s what I did. And now you’re here. So it’s all yours now. Hopefully you can figure out to-” just before she was able to finish, more Emblian soldiers arrived.
“There she is, get her!”
“Damn, more of them. And I can’t defeat them all by myself, and you are definitely not equipped to help me.” Anna says while slowly backing up with her arm outstretched towards Éire. “You run while I hold them off. Take Breidablik and get out of here Éire!” Panicked Éire holds out Breidablik in front of her and a blinding light flashes before dying back down. “What was that?! That bright light came from…” Anna said as a male appeared out of nowhere, he had long silver hair, reddish brown eyes, japanese styled clothes but most importantly was the beautiful looking bow that he wielded.
“Holy shit, you’re prince Takumi…” Éire said breathlessly as Anna looked at her bewildered. “I uhm… have read about you and your uh… family.” Éire says looking between Anna and Takumi, who now had a rather smug face, but was glowing with delight. “I’m Takumi, a prince of Hoshido and wielder of the divine Fujin Yumi. Which makes me useful, I’d say.” He finished with a small smirk as Éire was brimming with excitement.
“Yes, you’ll be so useful!” Éire said smiling softly while holding her hands close to her chest.
“How’d you do that? You summoned a Hero Éire!” Anna said while looking at Éire with wide eyes. “You hadn’t even gotten Breidablik an hour ago and yet, you’re already able to use it!” Éire looked at Anna confused and somewhat hurt, wasn’t she the ‘Great Hero’ who could summon any Hero with the divine relic?
“But there’s no time to chat now. This Takumi and I need to get to fighting.” Anna finished as she and Takumi prepared for battle, and unlike last time Éire was ready, sending Takumi out to weaken the axe fighter, and using Anna to finish him off. As they thought the battle was over, a bow fighter came out from behind a wall and shot at Anna, causing a small amount of damage.
“My special skill, Night Sky, is ready to use. Special skills are skills that boost the unit after taking a number of actions in a fight.” As Éire looked down at her phone she noticed that a symbol had appeared next to Anna, moving her forward to attack the enemy, dealing more damage that usual.
“We won!” Anna said turning to Éire putting her hand on the black haired females shoulder.
“Y..Yeah.” Éire said clutching her phone tightly to her chest.
“Well we need to get going.” Anna said as she ushered Éire and the newly summoned Hero out of the ruins.
---
“As I was running all that was going through my head was, ‘this is what I wanted.’, so I ran, in this world that I woke up in, running beside characters from a video game franchise that I grew up with. This is the escape I so desperately needed.” -Éire.
~/End Pre-Prologue\~
I might delete this later because I’m not very confident in my writing skills.
Also, I’m very sorry I haven’t been posting art recently, I will try better, I have no excuse, just procrastinate a lot. My anxiety gets in the way a lot, which is no excuse, so I’m very sorry ❤

aaaah your yandere hcs are really good? If it's alright, could i request yandere takumi??
A/n: SoOOOOO sorry for taking forever!! I hope you enjoy these?
Yandere! Takumi Headcanons
He is a very emotional man. You thought he was emotional enough before? Wait till you see him as a yandere.
He changes moods so quick that you feel as if you’re getting whiplash. One minute he’ll be crying for you to stay and the next he’ll be screaming his head off the moment Ryoma breathes in your direction.
His jealousy towards his older brother increases tenfold. He despises Ryoma talking to you, as he thinks he’ll steal you from him. Your protests go unheard as he angrily stares down his brother and takes you away, claiming that he wants to show you something.
No one knows how to react to him. On one hand, they are happy he found someone to love, but on the other they see how obsessive he has gotten and overall they worry if he’ll one day just snap. Hinoka and Ryoma attempt to discuss this with him, but he denies their claims and walks out in a rage.
He doesn’t harm you but he just wishes for you to focus your attention on him only. He’s so tired of being in second all the time, gods he finally got something wonderful for himself, and he’d hate to lose you.
He acts like an obedient puppy with you, he bends over backwards just giving you things you might like.
His nightmares are absolutely awful now. He has become such an emotional wreck that he has plenty of dreams of you leaving him, you dying, or his least favorite, he is possessed and kills you. He cannot calm down unless you hold him in your arms and stroke his hair.
Lots of nights consoling him. He hugs you and just cries about how much he loves you and how he’d hate for you to go. He continuously questions if you love someone else more, or what he needs to do to change. He’s begging for you to just love him, and it’s quite the pitiful sight.

NON-SPOILER REVIEW
Overall: This is the first time I’ve been somewhat disappointed in a Bancho stage. It was bound to happen eventually! Every time they’re one-upped, one-upped their performance, their stories, the quality, so we were bound to get to one sooner or later that just doesn’t quite reach the bar. This one is it. Don’t get me wrong!! It’s still: a very good play; lots of good comedy, lots of great acting, lots of really memorable moments, very funny, very enjoyable. But some aspects just weren’t good enough or at the standard of previous stages. I personally felt like there was too much exposition and explanation about the history and time period they were in (I found it unnecessary). I also felt like this was one big advertisement for 10 Jin Actor; I noticed pretty quickly that ALL the scripted comedy and all the major spotlight moments were given to them. Even though Yojiro and Kaname are supposed to be the main leads, I saw more scenes and more moments from the 10 Jin boys than from anyone else. So it definitely felt like this big 2 hour advertisement and push for their popularity. I also felt like it was their least funny play. I still laughed A LOT but you would expect a silly play like this to always be cranking out the laughs. I didn’t really laugh much during the first hour or so, but the final hour to 90 minutes are very funny. However, that first half is just a lot of character and history set up. The Bancho Boys themselves really got to shine during all the adlibbing. They pretty much adlibbed most of the time and of course they were more than capable, and got a lot of laughs not only from the audience but from the rest of the actors on stage which is great -- I personally love when actors break out of character and can’t stop laughing themselves, it just proves how much fun they’re having too! I have to say, seeing them (especially Yuu and Kaname) break into laughter on stage was the biggest reward for me and my favourite moments. Rating: 7/10 - Not their best but definitely not a bad play either.
SPOILER REVIEW
MAIN STORY
So Kaname plays a struggling chocolatier who has many worries as Valentine’s Day gets nearer. He falls asleep at a shrine after praying for his work to go well. When he wakes up, he’s back in the beginning of the Meiji Period (late 19th Century, 1868) in Fukuoka where his ancestors are from. He meets his ancestors and a range of characters who are trying to get through life during this difficult time of Japan’s transition to modern/western styles. In usual Amakuhanaize style, there is a food battle between the two opposing groups.
Tumblr media
That’s the basic premise. I’d probably break the characters up into different groups though:
Running/Staying at an Inn and Minding Their Business: Kaname, Yuu, Domoto, NishiKen, and Magoshi.
Modernising Japan Team: Oribe, Hayate, Origo, Mark, Urashimantaro, Chuuki, Nagome, Aoki Shnusuke
Want to Protect Japanese-ness Team: Yojiro, Takuya
Converting Christians: Sakata, Yunosuke.
So there are really four different groups but some band together and that’s how we get two rivaling groups towards the end, a few of them switch sides and such too throughout the play, but this is at least how they start.
*
GENERAL COMMENTS
Depending on who wins the chocolate battle -- there is a 10 minute break towards the end of the play where we can try the chocolate they 'made' for that show and then vote which we prefer -- the ending is a little different. I was lucky that I got to see each person win between the two shows I went to! So I'll quickly write the difference between them:
1. If Amami/Yojiro Wins: Tenshiro walks off depressed but Kazu/Yunosuke runs after Tenshiro and tells him he'll always be there for him and Tenshiro feels better. 2. If Tenshiro/Sakata Wins: Yojiro comes back on stage and attempts to commit seppuku with an icing knife (is that what they are called? *googles* ... nope it's called an Icing Spatula! Well now we all know don't we ^_^) but obvious he is not serious about it and he tries to be positive about it.
Either way in the end he is able to open a pastry shop and welcomes in customers and has a grand opening. So the very last scene doesn't change just the scene immediately after the Win/Lose moment.
There is one part that is higawari and it's the night before the chocolate battle when all the boys in Yojiro's group have to answer some questions. The two questions are: What to Say When You Get Choco, and Choco You'd Hate to Receive.
Tumblr media
My favourite scene without a doubt was the matsuri/festival scene and the opening dance number. In the matsuri they have this super fun dance number which just left me smiling from side to side. They looked to be having so much fun and were smiling too and the song had a great beat and the dance looked so much fun too! It was/is definitely my favourite scene out of this stage!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have so many feelings about the characters in this. I enjoyed quite a lot of the character (why are we not surprised) so I'd like to just flail about them a little.
Character Break Downs and Comments
*I'll refer to them all with their actual real names though! Sorry if that's confusing.*
☆ Yojiro: Is one of the last remaining Samurai who are trying to hide from the changing political powers in Japan. I honestly don't know what to say about Yojiro... even though he's supposed to be one of the main roles, he had hardly any time on stage. And when he was on stage, he was playing a character I've already seen many times before from him. He didn't play anyone interesting; he didn't play anyone new; he had a very safe character and there was nothing amazing at all about his acting this time around. He was just alright both in terms of character and acting.
Tumblr media
☆ Sakata: Catholic/Christian Priest in Japan. I went in really thinking I was gunna fall for this guy, but I ended up not liking his character at all. And just like Yojiro, he's advertised as a main role but was hardly in it! I can only remember about 2 scenes he was properly in. I am upset he ended up being an uninteresting character because Sakata himself has such a fun auro about him. He seems like a really nice and a really fun guy! Also he plays priest who is trying to spread the word of God... I am personally not a religious person and I prefer my stories not to have religion in it so this is just a me thing. His character IS a nice and good person but I just wasn't interested.
However, there is one good moment I liked from Sakata. There is a scene where he is capture and locked up but while talking to the guard, he all so easily opens the jail gates and gets out. But then like the good person he is, at the end of his scene, he gets back in the jail and closes the gate again xD
☆ Kaname: Chocolatier from Present Day Tokyo who Time Slips into 1868 Fukuoka. I really fell for his acting in this!! I really, really enjoyed his acting and his character! Also his dancing is very good! You can tell all that Tenimyu training really paid off! He character was fun and he had some ridiuclous moments and sometimes unfortunate things happen to his character too which was funny! And of course there were some classic moments with him and YuuKun which created hilarity too!
Tumblr media
☆ YuuKun: Kaname's Mother and Ancestor, Also an Inn Owner. On my first viewing, I was 99.99% sure he plays a female this entire play but actually he just plays Kaname's mother in the beginning but then in the time slip he's a male ancestor of Kaname's family. But it would totally make sense if he played a woman the entire time. He has his onee-san voice for the entirety of the play! Also his character in the past is obsessed with a male Kabuki actor, his personality is very faint and soft and weak-looking, it would've made sense to have him as a girl the entire time xD SO in my mind he DOES play Kaname's mother and great grandmother the entire time hehe I absolutely loved how he plays a fan. He plays a Kabuki obsessed fan and he said a lot of stuff that the audience could clearly relate to and the way he flailed over stuff and spoke so passionately about his oshi/bias was so relateable and so much fun to watch! He was GREAT!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once I saw the play, I soon understood why Kaname and YuuKun had both dyed their hair back black. YuuKun had to because he was playing a historical role, and I guess to make to MORE obvious they were playing family relatives xD
☆ Domoto: A Drunkard Who Lives at the Inn. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t ACTING drunk for this role xD his drunk acting was great! I also really loved this one scene bewteen him and Takuya:
- Takuya pretends to be a simpleton passing by when Domoto attacks him and of course Takuya, being a samurai, can dodge the attack and Domoto is super impressed and responds 'oh you not just a normal person at all. No normal person can avoid and react that well' but Takuya thinks Domoto will sell him out to the police but Domoto's character is a good boy so stays quiet and protects him. It was such a simple moment but I really liked this scene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also Domoto's eye makeup is so nice up close!!! I got a good look when I took chekis with him and it really is nice! There is one other moment from Domoto that really hit home for me. Lately, I've been having a really rough time mentally but this simple line from Domoto gave me so much strength: "None of my friends made it through the war. They can't drink stupidly. They can't wear flashy over the top clothing. I living their life as well as mine." It really hit home but it gave me strength that I really need right now.
☆ Magoshi: A Crazy Inventor Living in the Inn. His character had two very funny personalities: when his goggles were off he was very confident and very sane. But whenever he wore his goggles, he became geeky as F. He gave everyone many many laughs with his flawless switching between the two roles! He did very well! His name was also a play on words. His name is Anou Kikai which means 'That Chance' but also 'Ano' is what you say when you want to say something, it's the English equivalent of 'ohhh / ahhhh / ummm' when you want to start saying something. So many times Kaname's character wanted to offer to help or wanted to suggest things but he always started with 'Ano = Ummm' and Magoshi would immediately butt in like 'Anou Kikai shall do this task!' and Kaname always looked so sad every time he got shot down xD
Tumblr media
☆ Yunosuke: Sakata's Disciple. He has a very interesting story arc and his character development is very fun! I don't quite remember how he ends up like this but Yunosuke very quickly joins the 'money' side of society and gets obsessed with gold and flashy jewelry and he is very ridiculous and very hilarious. He gave me a lot of giggles with his overconfidence and with his loud voice and his ridiculing of others! But then towards the end, he sees Sakata give guidance and attention to someone other than him and he just completely explodes with jealously, which again he does in a very hilarious way. I thoroughly enjoyed his character! And he is beautifully tall and very good looking. It's a shame he's only 19 because he was gorgeous. I really liked his character and how he looked!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ Hayate: A Reporter. He was a reporter who turns from a dirty gossip reporter to a report who actually wants to do good for the people. He gives Oribe a run for his money because he's constantly following him and trying to get the true story. Hayate showed off his skills throughout this play with his acrobatics and his flips. He would make an entrance by flipping, or in some fights he got caught up in he would do a flip, or during the dance scenes he did some hiphop spin moves. So he really find many chances to show off what he can do; I assume this is part him personally enjoying doing these stunts and part him showing what he can do incase casting directors turned up to the stage.
☆ Mitsutake: Oribe's Henchman/Guard. I absolutely loved that he got nicknamed 'Beard / Hige' by Sakata in this. It gave everyone giggles everytime he was called xD I also loved his character arc too! At first he's on Oribe's side but thanks to Sakata, he has a change of heart and decides to do the right thing and starts helping us just because he should, because he wants to, and because it's the right thing to do.
☆ Takuya: Yojiro's Disciple/Follower. Takuya is getting so damn good looking as he gets older! I don't know why but as soon as he came on stage in the semi-modern samurai attire and his sword, I was in LOVE! I absolutely adored his look! And with is now longer hair!! OH MY!!! Seriously, he's gunna be dangerous soon. He's still only 19! *cries*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ NishiKen: A Neighbour Near the Inn. Luckily there was no black face or racism in his character this time xD he was just a neighbour who is slightly strange. He's dressed like a fox and helps out at a local matsuri/festival. I really liked the opening scene which is just him and wooden blocks and with the blocks he starts a beat and gets everyone in the audience clapping and singing We Will Rock You but then is like 'you're so loud! Shhhh!' which is ironic. He's always the most loud xD
☆ Mark: British Politician. I really really enjoyed his pompousness and the stereotypicalness of his British character. Also loved the American Accented English words he would speak. He was a fun character, he had this funny way of walking too; he would skip or spin in and out of his entrances which were very amusing. I also loved his outfit and his hat.
Tumblr media
☆ Oribe: Japanese Politician/Leader. He had a very small role which made me upset but he was still good! I like how he spent most of his time running away from Hayate but then the moment he realises someone else's corruption he runs to Hayate like 'I'll tell you everything! Just please protect me!!' xD he looked very dashing in his suit!! But again, I was like 'damn how are you STILL only 18?!' xD His dancing during the two major dancer parts were wonderful!

Now onto some differences between the two shows!
First Show
☆ There is a scene where Yuu pushes Kaname to the side. But at my first show, Kaname went flying the end of the stage and into the stage light because of Yuu’s push, and Yuu threatened to do it again but Kaname was like 'No it's okay! I learnt my lesson! Just don't do it again!' he was half smiling as he stood up and rubbed his back and butt xD
☆ Akira and Shuji were sat two rows in front of me and during a scene where Hayate runs around the theatre, he spotted them and was like 'you look very familiar... aren't you (enter their Amaku Character's name)?' but both of them got really nervous and shy and denyed it, hoping he would leave quickly xD
☆ For the Higawari scene, I remember Mark having a drawing of Domoto, and YuuKun's answers were always baseball references xD
Second Show
☆ The second show was a hot mess of hilarity! Everyone, the cast AND the audience, were just high on giggles. The entire play there were so many line mess ups and the boys couldn't stop laughing for most of the time. Even when they tried really hard, they ended up breaking halfway through their lines and such. It was so much fun seeing all of them completely break xD I'm glad it was my second viewing and not my only viewing of it. Maybe if it was my only viewing I might've been a little miffed but because it was my second viewing I could just enjoy the ridiculousness that went on!
☆ YuuKun didn't push Kaname as hard this time so when Kaname asked for the chocolate back, YuuKun just gave it back nicely hehe
☆ For the scene where they had to give an answer to: What to Say When You Get Choco, Mark's answer was all in Filipino and everyone was like '????? what did you just say?!'
☆ Because everyone was high on something, during Sakata's very important line of serious, he held it together right well until right at the end of his line and he just broke into a squeal of laughter. Everyone was dying.
NEGATIVES
A lot of these points are just extensions of what mentioned in the non-spoiler section:
☆ I realised very early on that the 10 Jin boys were getting more lines and more moments and more comedy than our Bancho Boys so it really did feel like an advertisement for their acting group.
☆ Also this is the first time I’ve been somewhat disappointed in a Bancho stage. This is a SOLID installment but it was just the weakest one I’ve watched of theirs so far. Especially after the amazingness that was Nemurenai Hitsuji and Saraba Gold Mountain (review) that we got last year.
☆ I was very much expecting for myself to really like Sakata Ryuichiro (especially with the whole blonde look -- we ALL know how I feel about blondes!), but I ended up finding his character really, really boring, and he was playing a heavy Christian believer (side note: I am Agnostic after being brought up in Catholic education for 12 years) so I personally lost all interest in him straight away.

PHOTO & CHEKI TIME
I got chekis with my usuals: YuuKun and Domoto! As usual they're both just so great! Even though it's a small, minute moment, it still means a lot to me.
So first I went to YuuKun and can he get anymore perfect?!?!?!?! He's just the sweetest fucking thing every time! And he always takes the lead and asks me questions and such xD So our conversation was:
Me: Otsukaresama desu / Thanks for the good work Yuu: OH! Thank you! I asked to do the heart pose but just before it's taken, he prods me, 'hold on. let's move over here, it's a better place. Is that okay? Are you ready?' so naturally I was like 'oh, okay. Yes! I'm good!' so then we took the picture. Y: Did you have fun? M: Yes I laughed a lot! Y: Don't forget our lives too! M: I already have tickets! Y: Oh thank you! M: And I'll come back on Friday (to see this) Y: Oh really? Thank you! *hands me the cheki* bye! *waves* M: Bye! *waves*
Tumblr media
Then with Domoto...
M: Otsukaresama desu / Thanks for the good work D: Thank you! You too! Do the heart pose and take chekis M: I'm really sorry I was too sick to come to your birthday party. D: Oh don't worry about it! It's fine! Please don't apologise! M: Really? Oh thank god. *hands me cheki* M: get home safely! D: You too! *mutual wave*
I finally got to properly apologise to Domoto which made me feel a lot better xD Also I love how awkward he is in the chekis. He has such an awkward adorableness hehe

At the end of every show too there was a 'Photo Time' so here are some I took:

March 3rd, 2020- Departures
Sora Hijirihara is fifteen years old and has a plan. It’s not a great plan, mind you, but this is a plan, and it had been building for a while now. She can’t- she won’t- let this new threat get anywhere close to her family.  And she will fix this world, as much as she can. (Makoto and Gundham were beyond saving, but maybe she could get baby Mitsuru his big sister back) She just has some preparations to do….
first station, the library:
(plan notes: try to finish it before someone notices you, especially alter ego)
-She prints out some things. Some pictures she took, that she hurries to clip together, as an album.
- In a second thought, she prints one more picture. Guilt tripping never harmed anyone… much.
-She writes down her letters. Two of them come out perfectly. The other two… not as much. One of them will suffice, but for the other… Shit, she’ll have to talk to him.
- She steals a pen as she leaves the library. No one would notice.
(well, this is done. What next?)
Second station, Mitsuru’s room:
(plan notes: You can do this. You won’t even cry.) Sora: *She places her hand on Mitsuru’s shoulder as she enters the room. * Mitsi? Can we talk? Mitsuru: Huh? Yeah, sure. *Sora closes the door behind her. * Sora: I’m leaving. And I wanted to say goodbye. Mitsuru: ….huh? Sora: I have found something- something that lets me track Invdia. So I’m leaving, and I’m going to keep our family safe. Mitsuru: …. What the fuck? Sora: I’m going to get your sister back. And I’m going to make sure no one lies a finger on mine. *She closes her eyes. * Please don’t make it harder than it has to be. Mitsuru: No. I’m going to make this as hard as I can. Because this is stupid idea. You don’t have to do this, Sora. You shouldn’t do this! Sora: No one else can! And- and I screwed this place over enough, so I’m going to fix everything I can. Mitsuru: And what about me? You’re just gonna leave me behind? Like my sister? Sora: I don’t want to! But you can’t leave. You have your medicine, and… I don’t want you to see this. I know what might happen and I don’t want you to see melike this. *She burries her face in him. *  I thought about just leaving you a letter, like I’m doing for mom and dad, but I couldn’t find the words- I’m so sorry… Do you hate me, Mitsi? Mitsuru: No. Of course not. I just think you’re being a dumbass right now Sora: I can’t even look at the twins without wanting to cry. I keep thinking about- how if I haven’t got us here, how this place would’ve been better. How I fucked it up for everyone. Mitsuru: Don’t blame yourself for this. You had no idea this was going to happen, and you never wanted it to happen. Guilt makes you do crazy things. Sora: You realize they are going to come after Monaca, right? She never appologized for what she did, so if they get a hold of her history…. And honestly, I’m pretty mad at your sister and doubt she’d stop them. Mitsuru: So instead of hunting them down, on your own, without backup, and without telling anyone else where you’re going, you can stay here and help protect all of us Sora: …’m gonna join them. Put up my best ‘crazy not uncle Shuji ’ act and be by their side. And then, if they try to punch my family…. *her hand is sent to KK, under her skirt. * well, you know what it is with knives and backs. And I will leave a note saying I left! Mitsuru: …. This is a bad plan driven my emotion Sora: Well, one of us is the brain on the group and it’s definatly not me. I’m here to stab things andcry a lot. Sora: …It’s the best plan that I have. And… I really don’t want to stay here. Mitsuru: And what if you don’t come back? Sora: I’m trying to save everyone! I’m four-fifteen years old. And I can’t stay in this school a second longer, and it’s been over two years and I just… what else can I do, Mitsi? Mitsuru: …I dunno. I don’t have all the answers. I just don’t want you to do something stupid Sora: When did you stop having all the answers, Mitsi? Mitsuru: When did I ever? Sora: It always seemed like you had, when we were younger. Mitsuru: You’re gonna take the words of an 8-year-old as solid answers? Sora: When you are an eight year old? Yes, why not? Remember, in that same age everything that came out of Kaede’s mouth was sacred. Mitsuru: You have a lot to learn about the world, my dear Sora Sora: It was seven years ago! I know better now… you know you won’t change my mind, right? Mitsuru: I figured. So there’s no point in arguing, I guess Sora: No, there really isn’t. I’ll go, and I’ll get the baby his sister back, and make sure no one touches my family, and maybe I won’t be surrounded by things that make me freak out. Mitsuru: Or you’ll die without accomplishing anything. That’s not me being morbid. That’s a real possibility. Sora: I have a knife, I’ll be fine. Mitsuru: A knife can’t solve all your problems, you know. They have guns. Sora: …I survived Kaede Naegi, I can survive jerks with guns. Mitsuru: They can gang up on you. They might have bombs. Poison gas. Other horrible things. Sora: …You are being pessimistic. I think you are really forgetting who is which role in our group. Mitsuru: And you’re forgetting these aren’t some dumb jokers. These are real, actual terrorists and murderers. They will not exercise restraint just because you’re a kid. Sora: …I’m trying to, really. Because I can’t- can’t afford to be scared for this. I can’t be weak. Mitsuru: Being scared doesn’t mean you’re weak. Reckless idiots aren’t scared. Sane people are scared. Sora: being either just raises my chance to screw this up. Mitsuru: Fear….fear’s like a double-edged sword. It can keep you from doing something, screw you up, and make you worried about stupid things. But it can also be what motivates you to stay alive, or help someone else. If you’re scared about what’ll happen to someone else if you die, that’s a good reason to keep living. Sora: *she sighs. * Mitsi? How long can you be away from here without, well, dying? Mitsuru: As long as my meds can last me. So not very long Sora: …Well, that solves it, I can’t take you even if I wanted too. *she looks at his eyes. * Mitsi, before I leave? Can I get a birthday kiss? Mitsuru: No. But you can have two. Sora: Sounds fine with me. *She leans forward to kiss him. * Mitsuru: If you die out there, I’ll kill you. Sora: I promise to come once you use an Ouija board. Mitsuru: Good. *he hugs her* I love you. Even if you are a huge jerk. Sora: I love you too, and hi, at least I’m not Kenta. Mitsuru: Hehe, yeah, true …Please come back. Sora: I will. I’ll miss you a lot. Mitsuru: Same here. And if you see Ryouko…tell her that she’s an idiot. And I miss her a lot too.
Sora: I’m gonna give her a picture. *she pulls the picture she printed earlier and the pen.* Maybe write on it something like 'for the best big sister in the world’. Mitsuru: Yeah… *He does so* I hope things go well. Sora: I do too. *she gives him another kiss and then checks her watch.* Well, if you’ll excuse me, my mother is having a baby so it’d be a great time to steal her credit card right now. Mitsuru: You’re pure evil. And somehow, I’m okay with it Sora: Hey, I’d need resources. Like some hair color and a dacktape. I’d rather not be recognized on tv like some other pepole had. Mitsi… whatever it’s worth… I love you. Mitsuru: I love you too. A lot. Even the dumb parts Sora: …I hope so, it’s the most of me. Mitsuru: *He hugs her again* *Sora hugs back* Sora: I know I said I don’t want you, but i really wish you could still come. Don’t watch videos, okay? *She turns to leave. * Mitsuru: Don’t die. Please. Sora: I promised, didn’t I? Mitsuru: …and if you can, give those Invidia guys a nice solid kick to the nuts Sora: …when I’ll stop pretending to likethem. And maybe one to Sly, anyways. Mitsuru: Good. Be smart, Sora. And good luck.
(well, you didn’t change your mind, so… a start?)
Station three, Sora and Kaede’s room:
(plan notes: just do it as quick as possible. Kaede will ask questions if she sees you.)
-Kaede is not in the room, thank hope.
- Sora steals Kaede’s backpack from under the bed, because Kaede isn’t actually using this thing and Sora needs a backpack.
-She packs clothes- especially, she tries, those that are not only red and black, because she has no idea how much Invdia knows of Hope’s peak and she doesn’t want people to actually make the connection.
-It is tempting to forget her tooth brush, but she gets it anyways.
-the letter for Akio and the twins is dropped on Kaede’s bed. Sora pretends she doesn’t feel like crying.
-she picks the rest of the essentials before she leaves towards her parent’s room.
(that went well)
Station four, Naomi and Takumi’s room:
(plan notes: Now to the actual ileagel part of today)
-finding her mother’s wallet isn’t hard. She knows well where the bag is kept, as well as where her mother keeps the note with her PIN on it. (she told Sora once that this was for emergencies. She isn’t sure it counts.)
-No one comes in, obviously. A quick check at her watch confirms the baby is coming, and both Naomi and Takumi would be busy with this.
-She drops the letter for them on the bed. She cries.
(Theft is much easier than one would think)
Station five, Damian’s room:
(plan notes: drop your shitty letter and go already.)
*Sora pushes the door to Damian’s room *
Sora: good, you are here. My letter sucked.
*She enters, closing the door behind her. There is a backpack on her back and she has shoes on. *
Damian looks surprised at the sudden entrance before sliding off his quiver and bow. “Hey Sora. Is something wrong?”
Sora: I just don’t want an adult to hear. Can’t have them stopping me from leaving, can I?
“… Why are you leaving?” Damian asks a bit quietly, sitting down on his bed and focusing all of his attention on her.
Sora: I managed to find a way to track invdia. So I’m going to join and keep them from my family.
“That’s crazy.” Damian says bluntly. “All you have is a knife you don’t know how to use to the best of your abilities. You can’t go by yourself Sora.”
Sora: I can and I will. I’m going to make sure Ryoko comes back, and to make sure they don’t think about my family as targets.
Sora: I can’t stay here, Damian.
“What happened to Jataro and the others… there’s no reason to assume the same will happen to you, Akio, Mitsuru or any of the others. No one knows outside of the school that you’re from the future.”
Sora: My sister has caused a massacre, if you didn’t notice. And she’s also my family. It’s not all about me, believe it or not.
“Monaca…” Damian remembers with a grimace before trying one last thing. “I tried to go after Invidia in an effort to stop them too. What’s the difference between you doing this and myself?”
Sora: … I don’t exist? Well, not for another hour, but no one would be able to make this connection.
Sora: and I don’t know how to tell you this, but you worked for storm.
Damian looks down at that before sighing. “There’s no talking you out of this.” He states rather than ask. “… what do I tell everyone else?”
Sora: Mitsuru knows, and I guess he’ll tell Kaede, Shuuichi and Akio. This *She searches her bag for a second and pulls a folded paper * is for my parents. Give it tommorow, okay? I should be fine by then.
“Alright…” Damian takes the paper before pulling Sora into a hug. “Stay safe okay? I don’t want to lose anyone else.”
Sora: I promise, I will. Mitsi already promised to kill me if I die. *She hugs back * don’t hide in your room, okay? Spend time with Jataro and everyone else.
Damian slowly let’s her go and nods reluctantly. “I’ll do my best. Keep in touch, if anything happens I’ll be there. House arrest or not.”
Sora: write me your number? *She hands him a piece of paper from her bag * and don’t get yourself in trouble.
Damian writes his number down on the paper before giving Sora a slight smile. “No promises.”
Sora: *She smiles back. * Jerk.
Damian sticks his tongue out before giving a slight wave goodbye. “See you around Sora…”
Sora: See you around… Don’t let Mitsi watch if there are videos, okay?
*She leaves. *
(You always thought he was the best uncle ever. Good to know this still holds.)
Station six, the mall:
(plan notes:just get what you need and go.)
-yes, she can use the primitive public transportation. She did it before, with some of the other kids.
-her first stop is at the ATM, where she takes out as much money as she thinks she needs, and hopes she wouldn’t need to use the card again.
- She gets everything she needs and couldn’t get at the school. This includes a prepaid phone, which she immediately texts Damian from, telling him it’s her new number and to call if there’s an emergency at the school.
-The sink at the toilet isn’t great, but it works well enough for the hair color she got. She’ll do it better later, but this should do for now. (she only manages to get the bottom half of her hair, to her dismay)
-Also at the toilet, she wraps black tape over the handle of her knife, making it mostly unrecognizable.
-She grabs her bag tightly with one hand as she puts her sun glasses on. She’s ready to go.
(You hope it works enough to make you unrecognizable at first look)
Sora Hijirihara is fifteen years old and has a plan. It’s not a great plan, mind you, but this is a plan, and it had been building for a while now.
She can’t- she won’t- let this new threat get anywhere close to her family.  And she will fix this world, as much as she can. (Makoto and Gundham were beyond saving, but maybe she could get baby Mitsuru his big sister back)

Sora: I’m trying to save everyone! I’m four-fifteen years old. And I can’t stay in this school a second longer, and it’s been over two years and I just… what else can I do, Mitsi?
Mitsuru: …I dunno. I don’t have all the answers. I just don’t want you to do something stupid
Sora: When did you stop having all the answers, Mitsi?
  Mitsuru: When did I ever?
Sora: It always seemed like you had, when we were younger.
Mitsuru: You’re gonna take the words of an 8-year-old as solid answers?
Sora: When you are an eight year old? Yes, why not? Remember, in that same age everything that came out of Kaede’s mouth was sacred.
Mitsuru: You have a lot to learn about the world, my dear Sora
Sora: It was seven years ago! I know better now… you know you won’t change my mind, right?
Mitsuru: I figured. So there’s no point in arguing, I guess
Sora: No, there really isn’t.
So not very long
Sora: …Well, that solves it, I can’t take you even if I wanted too. *she looks at his eyes. * Mitsi, before I leave? Can I get a birthday kiss?
Mitsuru: No. But you can have two.
Sora: Sounds fine with me. *She leans forward to kiss him. *
Mitsuru: If you die out there, I’ll kill you.
And somehow, I’m okay with it
Sora: Hey, I’d need resources. Like some hair color and a dacktape. I’d rather not be recognized on tv like some other pepole had. Mitsi… whatever it’s worth… I love you.
Mitsuru: I love you too. A lot. Even the dumb parts
Sora: …I hope so, it’s the most of me.
  Mitsuru: *He hugs her again*
  *Sora hugs back*
Sora: I know I said I don’t want you, but i really wish you could still come. Don’t watch videos, okay? *She turns to leave. *
  Mitsuru: Don’t die. Please.
  Sora: I promised, didn’t I?
Mitsuru: …and if you can, give those Invidia guys a nice solid kick to the nuts
Sora: …when I’ll stop pretending to likethem.
