HEY HEY HEY!!! OKAY I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO TAKE THESE IN REVERSE ORDER!!

First off you FOR SURE know what chapter seven is. It's the next chapter in my college theater au :) It's coming along slowly, but it's coming along!!!

Second: SPOMMY MEETUP! Okay so in the chapter of my trevrasha au I posted, Tommy tells the very condensed version of the story, but I always have to have seventeen irons in the fire so I started writing it out lol.

AND THE DEATH GOD AU. FUCK I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT. This would be another Spommy story (because I'm predictable lol), kind of a low-fantasy world in which death isn't quite working properly. Here's the pitch:

Spencer and Angela are twins, but she died when they were twelve or thirteen. Witnessing this made both Spencer and Chanse "Death-Touched," people who have witnessed death and have mild supernatural abilities because of it. Death-Touched people are societally shunned. Now years later, he's experiencing weird periodic blackouts where it seems like Angela's spirit is momentarily taking over his body, and the story starts with Spencer seeking out Amanda, a renowned medium, for help.

Also starring Anthony as the God of Death, The Ravenkeeper, and his four Heralds: The Cypress, the Herald of Violent Death (Arasha), the Constellation, the Herald of Environmental Death (Jackie), the Scythe, the Herald of Mechanical Death (Damien), and The Will, the Herald of Natural Death (Tommy.) And the rest of the Smosh gang in various roles :)

Spommy Meet Cute:

The pair of them are almost cartoonishly suited to each other; her willowy frame compliments his bulk, like a vine winding itself around the trunk of a tree. Tommy takes another sip of his drink, trying to wash the taste of jealousy out of his mouth. He can’t remember the last time someone looked at him the way Emily and Ify look at each other, like the sun shines a little brighter on their faces when they're together. He can’t remember if anyone ever looked at him that way.

Grant, overeager as ever, is all too happy to take his empty cup, and Tommy pointedly ignores how his fingers linger on Tommy’s a touch longer than is professional. Not that Grant has ever really tried to be professional. He’s not-so-subtly scrawled his phone number on the napkin he slides over with the refill, and Tommy politely tucks it into his back pocket, idly wondering if Grant has a stack of such napkins behind the bar.

He scans the room again, and finds his prospects are still slim. The sweet-looking guy in the corner is still there, but Tommy counts him out as soon as he sees Ify gather him into his arms in a familiar embrace. Tommy knows that signal: this one’s off-limits, Ify’s saying. And Tommy listens. Even if it means he’s likely going home alone.

His phone buzzes in his pocket. It’s his sister. He finds himself smiling despite his sour attitude.

>> court: how’s the party? :)

>> tomey: pretty incredible so far

>> court: you know you can go home if you aren’t having fun, right?

>> tomey: isn’t Shayne the one earning the psych degree?

>> court: I don’t need to be a psychologist to know you aren’t enjoying yourself, dumbass. I’ve known you for half your life.

>> tomey: for your information, I’m having an amazing time

>> court: that bad, huh?

He smiles despite himself, and starts typing up a response that he never gets to finish.

Tommy doesn’t see the person who slams spectacularly into him, sending his phone careening across the sticky concrete floor until it’s out of sight.

“Fuck!” he yells, barely able to hear his own voice over the music.

Death God AU:

“Madame Paradise, I’ve travelled so far—”

She holds up a manicured hand, shushing him. “I’m sure you have, darling, but I’m afraid I’m simply not the woman for you.”

“Madame Paradise, please, if you’d only listen—”

“You listen, boy.”

She hisses under her breath, brows creased not with anger, but concern. 

“Lychgate is a haven,” she near-whispers, taking a step closer to him with every word. “We are safe because we are quiet. We are safe because we keep our profiles low. The last thing I need—the last thing this town needs—is for some blabbermouth fool to spread around that we practice witchcraft here.”

She’s reached him, her fingernail practically poking him in the nose. 

“The last thing we need—”

His eyes roll back, and he feels himself falling.

There is darkness, endless and inky black. He feels cold, he feels numb, he feels nothing at all. He sinks into the void, not knowing if his eyes are closed or not.

Then, slowly, green light begins to trickle into his vision.

He blinks awake again, unsteady on his feet. He’s still in Madame Paradise’s parlor. The woman herself stands slack-jawed, hands trembling. The candles have all gone out.

“Am I back?” he asks, reaching to feel his arms, his hands, to check that he’s solid.

Madame Paradise nods. 

“Did she talk to you?” he asks.

She nods again.

They stand in strained silence for a moment, the howling of the wind the only sound. Eventually, Madame Paradise turns and fumbles for her discarded pipe. Still shaking, she snaps her fingers, and a small flame appears; she lights the pipe and inhales deeply.

“Spencer, was it?” she asks, and he nods. “I don’t know if I can help you. But it seems you may be in need of my… ethereal proclivities after all.”

tommy most underrated cast member imo. he never gets brought up in conversations about people who have great chemistry w everyone enough, so many of his jokes are super iconic, him being amanda's gay husband is also very iconic, the stuff he does outside of smosh is incredible, his character work is incredible, i like his singing voice, i genuinely think he is the only cast member at smosh currently who could do a hysterical standup set (i think the others can develop their skills, but tommy is currently poised to be great at it already), he's hot (as a lesbian, i'm in love w him)... he's such a well-rounded cast member and while i think he does get recogjized a fair amount, i think he's also often forgotten as such a standout cast member. not anybody's fault! i just wanna acknowledge, independent of any discourse, that he is such an incredible addition to the cast!

i miss spommy 💔 spommy come home 💔💔

Tommy is a kiiiiing. I love Tommy Bowe so, so much. He reminds me a lot of one of my brothers in every way so I have a very soft spot in my heart for Tommy, and he's also unbelievably hilarious.

Tommy deserves more love and I agree! We need more Spommy content. Those two dorks go so well together.

Spommy week 2024 - prompt “Florida”

Enjoy the drabble i made for the prompt a few week ago when I first heard of spommy week and got inspired by the prompt for the second day - Florida! Hope this gets me out of my writing posting hiatus to post something silly - maybe this could become something more one day!

I was inspired by @funeralroast to post this! And thank you to the creators of this and the rarepair smosh server for everything and for inspiring me everyday <33

“What are you doing here?” Spencer gasps as the hot chocolate cup that was warming up his hands in the hot weather flips back all over him.

Tommy gasps. “Oh shit! Im so sorry! mean… wait what are you doing here?” He recognizes those eyes anywhere.

They were both visiting their small town that they grew up in for the annual Christmas in summer jingle jangle stockings and crazy fun times fairytale lighting nighttime Christmas tree hanging stockings and hanging wreaths ball Christmastime but not actually Christmas because its summer jingle ball jangle ball Christmas bulb bash thats actually not during the winter because its more fun to have Christmas in the summer as well, but we also have Christmas during the usual time in the winter, so its more fun that way and we get more of the Christmas spirit all year round.. festival ball bash and they would never miss it.

Until both Tommy and Spencer decided to move out to the big city of LA and New York, both big seperate worlds that decided that they could work there instead of help out at their family farms against their seperate parents better interest.

The apple sauce farm and the chicken coop farm, the first owned by the Bowe family and the second by the Agnew family.

They didn’t really know why they separately decided to get on a plane and make their way all the way back to their family home, but they did.

Maybe it was the way Tommy’s mother’s voice sounded different. Older. Sadder than last year when he couldn’t make it. She wasn't trying to hide her disappointment this time.

It was the same for Spencer. His father had called him with a gruff voice, begging him to come back in his own cold way.

“We miss you son. The chickens miss you.” Which was weird for an Agnew, so he was on the next plane over.

His father had cancer, and didnt know how to tell him. So he didnt. His mother had to tell him. Over a zoom call. How sterile.

“Oh so youre here for the…” they both repeat the dumb long ass title in synch for the event that they were pulled back into celebrating because it was a bad omen to not say it every time you mention it or else a bad Christmas. Or something. So they would always say the entire thing, no matter how much time they had to wait, or if they were ever running late somewhere. Like all of those dumb Hallmark movie titles.

I always like it when people talk about their WIPs. I live for that. So it's my turn. But I am a one-shot writer at heart with way, way too many ideas, so here is a list of everything I'm toying with. For the record, some of these don't even have a single word written yet, and none are that far along, so don't get your hopes up too high.

Smosh One-Shots

"Feelings are so fragile" — Platonic Shaymien thing where I project really hard onto Damien. (Yes it's for the aro collection)

"Most euphoric I've ever been" — A spetney fic based the fact that yes, they're technically a m/f couple... But like, no. Put them together, you've got nonbinary lesbian vibes. Sorry Spencer, you're getting your gender transed because there's no way you and Courtney are straight.

"But what's a home?" — A Damian QPR fic. Damien/Ian is already such an interesting rarepair and then you make it a QPR and it's like... They end up living together just temporarily because Damien's housing falls through and turns out they both really miss when they used to be living with their best friends and look I know everyone likes romance but do you know how good QPR fics can be? I love the idea of them as a QPR so much?

A thing for @aro-soulmates-fest about Anthony getting all his tattoos to hide the fact that he doesn't have a soulmate one.

Smosh not a one shot but also kind of a one shot?

14. "Once in twenty lifetimes" — A no smosh AU that's going to go through all the different ways Ian and Anthony could have ended, choose-your-own-adventure style. And as the title suggests, only one of them is the reunion. Most are things falling apart. And also to fit the title, it's going to be in twenty chapters (although that does not mean 20 endings. I don't hate myself.). So it's multichapter, but also it'll all be posted at once so it'll basically be a one-shot. It's going to end up as kind of an epic and God I hope it turns out as good as it is in my head. Inspiration for the good endings is "Cardigan" by Taylor Swift, and for the bad endings and a lot along the way is "San Cristobal" by Mal Blum.

15. Partners (in crime) — my Changela QPR fic that was supposed to be a one-shot right up until I wrote the thing, and actually wrote a chapter one. Not sure how long that's going to be, but I like it so far.

16. "Puppy Love" — I don't need to say anything about this. There are already 5 chapters on AO3. Either it's extremely your shit or you're wondering what the hell I'm doing and why I'm writing this extremely specific concept. If you're wondering why I still haven't posted chapter 6, it's because that has sex in it and I fucking hate writing sex scenes so I'm procrastinating really hard.

17. "I'll use you as a warning sign" (aka the evil fic, so named because chu-tea thinks I'm evil for coming up with the plot) — yeah so what I planned for PL was just a straightforward kind of fluffy ianthony piece. And then a certain friend of mine (*cough* chu *cough*) accidentally inspired me to think of a different ending that is such hardcore angst and hurt that I absolutely needed to make it happen and have been obsessed. It's interesting when you've already made the bad decision to start a long project and then oops, now you just really want the next 6 chapters to be done already so you can write the alternate ending. This one will *really* not be everyone's shit because I will rip your heart out in 6 different ways. But God I'm obsessed. Anyway, if you want details... I'll just say "major character death" and leave it at that. Oh and rarepair.

18. "I've come back changed and I can feel it in my bones" — an AU where "what if Anthony left because he got psychosis." Basically very hardcore projection on my part. This is on the back burner for a while because obviously when I have projects that aren't going to be emotionally gutting to write, I'd much rather work on them.

Non Smosh Stuff

(I'll be honest, I'm so deep in the smosh obsession that you should not get too excited about any of these. I know myself, so I know the smosh flame will eventually burn out but these are based on things I will be obsessed with until I die. So I know they'll happen. But not for a long time)

19. A Phantom of the Opera one-shot for @aro-soulmates-fest. This is the one thing I will actually write within a reasonable amount of time, because it's due March 17.

20. "Baby, please don't bore me" — A Series of Unfortunate Events — Sunny (well, Sorrel in this version because oops I transed their gender) teams up with Olaf to find their siblings after years of separation. I find them to be a very interesting chaotic, morally gray, bantery duo.

21. "Because the same night awaits us all" — ASOUE — A Klaus/Lemony fic that I swear I will write someday. Very morally gray, very much a codependent relationship, very leaning into the age gap. Basically they're together because they do not have anyone else in the world. It's just so delicious a dynamic that I will explore I swear.

22. ASOUE — I'm still not entirely convinced I'll ever be bothered to actually write this one, but I might do a Kit/Fernald FWB thing. I'm not sure where on earth the idea of that came from, but it's been living in my head for a long time now. Long enough that there's an early one-shot version of it that I don't really like anymore on *gasp* fanfiction.net

If anyone actually bothered to read all the way to the end of this long-ass post, you deserve a medal.

spencer always trims tommy's hair after that whenever he asks. he's basically a hairdresser now honestly icon behavior

tommy gets confused bc all the sudden his shampoo starts getting used up and he's like ??? turns out spencer's been using it every time he showers there. "bro it smells like you." tommy just gets him his own bottle LKNDNFKNF

baby, you're a haunted house:

first official date is to a horror movie <3

they come into the office later and ALL of the crew is laughing at them. rightfully so. by the end of the day the whole office knows and is bullying them mercilessly.

shayne and kiana will take credit for getting them together until the end of their days (they didn't do anything but they pretend that they did <3)

he said baby (that's what he called me):

when tommy wakes him up for dinner they Do Not talk about it because spencer genuinely doesn't remember saying it and tommy is a nervous wreck. spencer notices but doesn't ask because tommy will talk about it when he's ready <3 also tommy makes spaghetti

they lay on the couch for the rest of the night bc tommy knows spencer's gonna be Awake now so he's gonna stay up with him. they play some video games and throw on a movie. eventually tommy falls asleep on the couch using spencer as a pillow

tommy starts packing spencer's lunch for the next day because he's manifesting he'll take care of himself better <3

they lost their minds and fought the wars;

tommy trying to teach spencer how to cook era ensues!! it does not go very well. spencer keeps almost burning down the kitchen. but tommy persists! he learns how to make more than breakfast eventually and no longer burns toasts <3

courtney asks spencer about the card bc they're nosey and so she Must. the irresistable urge to know things, just like me fr. spencer immediately goes red and tommy has to jump in to protect him from being teased for the rest of his life FKLNWNNN (it's not easy)

spencer gets some stars tattooed. that's it that's the whole headcanon. and im going crazy about it.

i could be the reason (you don't sleep at night):

they barely leave their room. for the rest of the weekend. chanse makes fun of them maliciously for this. arasha is more "go gays! gay it up!" about the whole thing.

kimmy comes over and is like "omg your bed is so tidy angela how do you do it!!" and angela doesn't have the heart to tell her she decided to be gay instead of sleeping in her own bed so she just goes "uhhh slept on top of the covers" shayne-style

they both ride in rock's car on the way home <3 and they both sleep <3 rock is also pro but anti pda in the car ya nasties

‘til our fingers decompose, keep my hand in yours:

instead of abby lee miller, spencer and tommy do horror movie-themed carves (spencer does sam trick r treat bc i said so and tommy does pinhead Also because i said so)

they also do a couple's costume bc tommy is just that bitch, respectfully. the couple from the shining methinks. tell me they wouldn't eat that up.

spencer gradually gets more comfortable with pda and tommy generally eases up. they meet in the middle <3

right where you left me:

for the next few halloweens shayne is ALWAYS on edge. just in case you know. what if he lets his guard down and it happens again. damien just comes to understand "this is gonna be how it is" and always makes sure to pay extra special attention and take care of him on halloween <3

they move like. stupidly fast in their relationship which everyone else thinks is a little. strange. but damiens been in love with shayne for as long as he's known him and shayne has lived through a time loop so yeah they're moving in together as soon as one of their leases end and saying i love you within days what about it!

shayne turns off taylor swift songs any time he hears them. damien does Not Ask and also begins to pre-emptively turn off her music. in fact EVERYONE comes to understand Not to put ts on office party mixes because shayne WILL take control of the aux

sunflower:

tommy starts spending All his time at spencer, arasha, and shayne's apartment because he's gonna take all the time with spencer he can get because his job (the school newspaper? tommy thinks?) takes up so much time. this leads to of course shayne and arasha having to quickly and comically hide any spiderman-related things around the house

the next time tommy sees spiderman he expects it to be awkward and spencer, kind of forgetting the whole rejection happened bc the love confession also happened, is like "??? huh. oh. OHHH i mean. ohhh noooo my broken heart :(((("

shayne talks about how he gave one of arasha's partners the shovel talk and tommy's like "lol you didn't give me the shovel talk shayne what are you homophobic" and shayne's like "oh no. i gave SPENCER the shovel talk. you're too cool for him to fuck this up"

dancing on my own:

in my brain trevor enters smosh in the domoverse and spends a lot of time hanging out with spencer and sees what's going on INSTANTLY. i might touch on this in the sequel but he is less afraid to meddle than anyone else and if he spots spencer getting uncomfortable will offer to sub in for a video for him or will drag him out of a conversation / a room. yeah. lil brother trev :')

as part of his birthday present for tommy, spencer gets bussy some official adoption papers. obviously.

courtney and kiana are stressing and texting about all this CONSTANTLY. tommy will look over at court and be like "you look stressed is everything okay" and court will slam their phone on the table and go like "NOTHING. UHHHH TAXES." and change the subject

blue christmas:

at the christmas party the next night shayne does end up showing and having a great time. chanse is an excellent party host and has them play a bunch of games that makes him feel like he isn't a stranger to these people at all. not to mention chanse's friends are just cool

the office actually doesn't find out for Forever bc they keep it on the dl for a while but one day chanse just comes in and kisses shayne hello and angela does a full spit take

every year for christmas chanse definitely does a bit that only he finds funny thats like "this year ive decided to get you the renewal of our anniversary <3 i am your greatest gift <3" and shayne's like "cool i got you a spiderman blanket" and chanse is like. "... okay fine i actually got you another open overshirt for straight men :/"

we can leave the christmas lights up 'til january:

they both just decorate the tree at spencer's apartment bc they basically both live there anyway, so tommy only gets / brings ornaments to put on spencer's tree. together they start a whole dorky ornament collection it's very cute :')

the christmas party they throw is incredible and all of their friends ARE pissed that they got them gifts when they agreed on no gifts. but courtney does cry over her little grease cat <3

they officially move in together at the beginning of the new year <3

if we keep score:

their first official date is to mini-golf because they literally cant not be competitive. then they go get ice cream !

tommy can't go to spencer's prom BUT. spencer can go to tommy's! he goes as the date of one of tommy's female friends at olops so they get to hang out. they can't like dance or anything (tommy WILL get in so much trouble he'll be lucky if he graduates) but they're there together and that's what matters <3

they do go to each other's graduations though and they are both extremely embarrassing while cheering each other on. shayne, damien, and alex also tag along to tommy's graduation and they have like a full banner for him. tommy pretends he hates it (he LOVES it)

this is less of a headcanon and more of a fun fact but their cat is named after dwayne the rock johnson <3 this is bc the song the fic is based on mentions a baby scorpion. dwayne the rock johnson - scorpion king in the mummy - dwayne the kitten - baby scorpion.

after they finished that hike in the redwoods park spencer almost throws up and swears he's never doing anything outdoors again. it makes courtney laugh so hard they cry

spencer goes on to tell courtney that angela threw her chair at chanse because he took the top hat when she wanted to be the top hat. it was the beginning of the game and it only went downhill from there. amanda refuses to play monopoly on the channel ever again.
