[I THINK HE KNOWS!]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘: a fake and curated date in italy on valentine's day is no one's idea of fun except a publicist’s. but all it does is take a walk around monza to know the difference between what's real and what's fake.
𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒: fluff, poor humour, fake dating trope, reader is a graduate uni student, lando being a dream boyfriend, kinda suggestive at the end, mentions of horrible fans and privacy invaded, me knowing nothing about italy let alone lombardy at the end as well.
𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: lando norris x fem!reader
𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓: 3.3k
𝐀/𝐍: third fic of my series! i really loved writing this one! fake dating is always such a hit or miss to write about but in this case, it was a lot easier. hope you enjoyed it!♡︎ // as usual, poorly proofread

Life’s a funny thing really. Full of mistakes leaving you wondering how you ever got there.
And as you sat on a bench, looking over at the view of Lake Como in Lombardy, Italy, with ‘hidden’ paparazzi down the street, you began wondering the exact same thing.
“How long do you think they’ll be here?” You queried, turning your body to face Lando.
Lando tilted his head, resting his cheek in his hand as he leaned on the top of the bench. His blue eyes briefly raked over you and then where the paparazzi hid. He looked over at his watch. “Give or take twenty minutes. They’ll probably be hungry for actual food soon.”
You withheld your sigh. How did you get here? Time sure had flown as seven months ago you were just a graduating university student with loan after loan on her shoulders. The very student who still decided to have a sweet treat after handing in her assignment and headed to your favourite cafe. The very student who bumped into Lando Norris and had her bracelet snag on the sleeve of his jacket, landing you in a compromising position as you tried to take it out.
The very student who woke up the next day with her entire privacy invaded as ‘fans’ hunted you online and seemingly decided not only were you Lando’s girlfriend but the ‘perfect match’.
That was you.
Mere hours later, you had Lando’s publicist and underlings knocking at your door with a comprehensive contract and a promise to pay your student loans and pay you. You didn’t think it would last this long. Three months tops... surely.
So, you signed it. A contract declaring that you were fake dating Lando Norris.
They said it would help Lando’s image. And help it did. Lando had never looked better to his sponsors. Apparently dating a university graduate makes you look more polished and mature, enough to at least secure a dozen contracts. Most fans seemed to love you. Even the driver’s had taken a liking to you.
But to you, Lando, and a handful of selectively picked people, this was all fake.
Every decision was carefully made. The matching jewellery, what he said, what you posted, where you met, the hugs, the arms around the waist, the staring, the kisses...
And six months later, here you were. On a curated date with the Lando Norris at Lake Como on Valentine’s Day – the third day of your trip. You had both compromised, agreeing to each make a list of things so do in Lombardy, two of which had to be a couple’s activity for the sake of it.
You had completed most of both of your lists. A visit to Teatro Alla Scala, an opera theatre (your idea, obviously). A guided tour Villa Del Balbianello because Lando needed to see some more real-life scenes of Star Wars (mostly ended up taking photos of you the entire time). An agreed night out from the both of you to Navigli to consume ‘local food.’
Lando, who desperately wanted to have walk around Lake Como, was sorely disappointed when he spotted the paparazzi hiding around the corner. “I’m sorry,” he mumbled, watching your fingers trail the cracks in the wooden bench.
“It’s okay,” you assured. “It’ll be over soon anyways.”
Lando knew you were talking about the paparazzi. But he couldn’t help but think about your relationship with him.
That day at the cafe... the only reason people thought you two were in a relationship wasn’t just because you were barely a centimetre apart trying to remove your bracelet but in all the photos people had captured, Lando was staring at you like it was love at first sight.
And before he knew it, everything had gone down. The fans, his publicist, the media... it was a shitshow. And then you showed up two days later having signed a contract to be his fake girlfriend.
Lando hated it. Fuck, he hated it so much. He hated that he dragged you into this. He hated that every moment with you was planned. And he especially hated that he couldn’t like you openly. Not with you thinking it was fake.
Lando looked down back at his watch. He sighed, leg beginning to shake out of impatience.
You raised a brow. Naturally, you put a hand on his arm. “Lando... is everything okay?”
Lando flickered his eyes to your hand and back to your face. He moved his arm from your grasp, grabbing your hand instead. “Come on. We’re leaving,” he stated.
Your eyes widened as he stood up, bringing you up with him. “W-What? Lan–we’re supposed to leave in thirty minutes,” you murmured quietly, leaving only him to hear your voice.
“I don’t care,” he started, increasing his walking pace. “Whatever you do... just hold on to me, okay?”
You furrowed your brows. “Lando, what are-”
Abruptly Lando paused in his steps. He turned to you, blue eyes staring hard back at you. “Do you trust me?”
“I–”
“Do you trust me? Yes, or no?” He repeated softly.
You gulped nervously, unable to look away from him. “Yes.”
A look of relief washed over his face as he nodded. “Good. Then hold on. And don’t let go.”
“Lando, I still don’t get what you–MEAN!” You yelped as Lando began running in no particular direction. You tightened your grasp on his hand while your legs struggled to catch up to him. The problems of having an athlete boyfriend.
The wind felt serene. The sun was oddly warm despite it being the winter season. It was as though spring was trying to come a little early. All the early architecture you had seen on the way here was beginning to blur into one uniform colour. You weren’t sure where you were going or why but all you knew was that you were going way too fast.
“Lando! I swear to God, if you get us killed–”
“You said you trusted me,” Lando yelled back, cautiously looking over his shoulder. He could see the paparazzi struggling to follow the both of you.
You panted, pushing your legs to keep up. “I do! Breaking into a sprint all of a sudden with no idea in mind, however, begs a slightly different answer.”
Lando couldn’t help but laugh over the air and God, did you love it. You had heard of people saying that a laugh could sound like music to one’s ears. You never understood it. It was a laugh. A reaction. How could it be musical? But in that moment, you understood. It wasn’t just the laugh. It required the context, the smile, the thought... and only then did it become an orchestrated musical masterpiece.
Another yelp left your mouth as Lando pulled you to the side, situating yourselves in an empty shaded alleyway. You rested your back as comfortably as you could against the stone while Lando stood in front of you, hand still wrapped around yours.
You both waited quietly. Turning your head slightly, you could see a small flock of black clothed paparazzi walk by, all ushering and yelling, mystified to how you both had disappeared.
“Okay,” you swallowed hard, turning back to Lando. “I think they’re...” You seem to have lost your ability to speak as you found Lando staring at you. It had been a common occurrence within the past few months and it never got any easier. “They’re gone,” you confirmed, chest heaving.
“You should probably start joining me on my workouts,” he mumbled, eyes flickering over you again, absorbing the sight of the thin sheet of sweat across your skin.
You narrowed your eyes, moving your hand from his grasp to hit him with the side of your bag. A groan fell from his lips. “Ow!” He yelled, making you clasp a hand over his mouth. Your head darted to the side, checking whether anyone heard him.
“What was that for?” He queried after you removed your hand from his mouth.
“For being an asshole. And for making me run. Which reminds me... why did you make us run?” You queried with a more than unhappy tone.
Lando grinned. “We still have one thing on your list to do.”
You furrowed your brows. “I didn’t add anything else.”
Lando’s hand rummaged through the pocket of his shorts, taking out a familiar piece of paper – the very one you had written all your activities on. And right at the bottom was an activity you thought you tore off.
Your eyes widened, hand darting out to grab the piece of paper but Lando was too quick. “Nuh-uh,” he tutted, holding the paper close to him. “I’m getting this framed.”
You skin burned at his words. You clearly remembered what you wrote.
Walk the Monza track with Lando (and preferably some gelato).
“I was supposed to take that off,” you mumbled.
Lando frowned. “You don’t want to do it? Or did you not want to do it with me?”
You blinked blankly at Lando. “Are you stupid? Did you read the same thing I did? Obviously with you. I just... we’ll probably get mobbed so it’s a stupid idea.”
Lando understood what you meant. Visiting in Italy for two days now had proven to be incredibly difficult with a fan asking for a photo every other minute. He was appreciative that you were so understanding but he felt awful.
“Yeah... I mean it would be crazy if you had a boyfriend who could rent out the entire track for a couple of hours,” Lando yawned, stretching his arms nonchalantly.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see your mouth fall open. “Lando... you didn’t.”
Lando rolled his eyes, grabbing your hand once again. “I did. Now come on. We’re going to be late!”
━━━━━━━━━━━
You blinked blankly once you arrived to the empty Monza track. You had preoccupied yourself in the car ride here, pointing out all the interesting things you were seeing as Lando drove to the track. You were going to fall asleep if you hadn’t arrived there any earlier. But now that you were... you didn’t think your eyes could get any wider.
“Is that a...” You turned to Lando with twinkling eyes.
“Just go pick your flavour,” he narrowed his eyes.
A squeal fell from your lips and before you knew it, you were hugging Lando tightly. You could feel his arms wrap around your waist, happily accepting your hug. “Thank you,” you murmured next to his ear.
Lando smiled calmly despite his heart beat pounding in his ears. He was sure he could stay like this forever if he could. “You’re welcome. I... It’s so much less than what you deserve, but it’s all I could think to do given the... circumstances.”
You stared at the pavement of the track heavily, Lando’s words swirling around your head. Right... the circumstances. You cleared your throat, pulling away from him even though you could’ve sworn you felt him tighten his grasp momentarily.
“Come on. Pick your flavour or I’m just going to get you all chocolate,” you called out, waking over to the gelato cart he had hired.
Lando sighed, briefly making a disgusted expression. He followed after you with a small smile. Despite the wind, he could still smell you on him.
You greeted the cart owner, excitedly eyeing all the gelato flavours. There were so many to choose from... how were you ever going to pick? “Can I get...”
“She’ll get mango, chocolate, raspberry, and lemon in a cup,” Lando finished, hovering behind you.
You gaped, snapping your head to Lando. “How did you know?”
“Better question is,” Lando started, resting his mouth right above your shoulder and near your ear, “why wouldn’t I?”
You shivered at his words, cheeks burning at the small grin playing on his lips. “I’m not sharing any of mine,” you muttered, moving your eyes to the gelato.
Lando pouted teasingly. “Please,” he sung, tilting his head so you could see him blink his eyes rapidly.
You gulped, taking a step away before you succumbed to his wishes. “I think I’m going to throw up.”
Lando gasped. “So rude!”
You chuckled taking the cup of gelato while thanking the owner. Lando narrowed his eyes at you, ordering his own combination of pistachio, melon, and orange.
You made a face at his cup as he walked towards you. “There is something so wrong with you.”
Lando rolled his eyes, nudging you forwards to the entrance of the track. “Just be quiet and walk.”
━━━━━━━━━━━
You and Lando walked comfortably at your own pace around the track, eating your gelato while he explained parts of the track or its history.
“I’m not gonna lie,” you started, finishing your spoonful of raspberry, “Curva Parabolica makes me feel sick. Every time it came on the TV, I thought I was going to throw up.”
Lando raised a brow, resting his spoon in his cup. “I thought you didn’t watch them?”
It was always Lando’s assumption you didn’t watch the races. Even when you came to them, if there was a camera, you’d flash a smile, otherwise there was no other reason to be there. You were at the podiums because you had to be, not because you wanted to be.
You snorted, looking at him incredulously. “Of course, I watch them. Why wouldn’t I? You’re freaking racing! I’m always so proud of you, no matter where or how you finish. You don’t see me next your mum and dad, cheering you on at the end of the race?”
Of course he did. You were the first person he would look for at a race. And if you weren’t there, he’d look at the camera in hopes you were watching. And all this time... you had been.
Lando’s mouth dried. “I just thought...”
You looked at his face and you could read his mind. “You thought it was fake.”
He blinked, regret washing over his face. “I’m sorry. I couldn’t help it,” he apologised.
You took a spoonful of your mango gelato and eyeing his mournful expression. “It’s okay. If there’s one thing you should know, my proudness and happiness for you isn’t fake. Even if this whole thing is.”
And there it was again. The bitter reminder that this entire relationship was fake. That perhaps the only real thing in your relationship was how you met.
But this was real.
This – the track, the gelato, the conversation – this was real.
Lando sucked in a sharp breath, moving his eyes to the rest of the track as he ate large soon of his melon gelato. He exhaled slowly, trying to remember where he was once again. “Okay... pop quiz! Who was Variante Ascari named after?”
You cleared your throat, pulling on a thoughtful expression. “Um Al.. Alberto Ascari? The Italian driver, right?”
“Thank God someone’s been paying attention,” he joked as you neared the named turn.
You rolled your eyes. “I should thank Fewtrell for that one. Remember that stream he made us join?”
“Yeah,” Lando laughed softly, all the memories hitting him at once. It was really sweet of Max actually. It was a time when some ‘fans’ were being particularly awful to you. Saying you were using Lando for fame because you barely knew anything about the sport.
Max then created a poorly made quiz about Formula 1 and got you and Lando to join. Max and Lando pretended not to know much so you were all in the same boat. And any time the right answer was mention, Lando would occasionally squeeze your leg to give you a clue. The stream was flooded with some of the kindest comments, telling you to ignore everyone else and just focus on your health and your relationship with Lando.
It was one of the moments where you realised how good of a friend Max was. Lando was lucky to have someone who cared for him that much.
Lando looked down at his cup and let out a dramatic sigh.
You didn’t even need to bat an eye towards. “I told you I'm not sharing,” you reminded, quickening your pace.
It didn’t take long for him to catch up. “Please, please. I can see you have like two spoons of mango and lemon. Come on. Sharing is caring.”
“No–Lando! Stop following me!”
All of a sudden, you and Lando were running again. But this time, you weren’t worried about some paparazzi or the destination. It was just you and Lando.
“No offense, but you are not outrunning me,” Lando called out from behind you, running with what you were pretty sure was a smug grin.
You huffed, trying to push your legs further but you could feel him hovering. You came to an abrupt halt. “You’re right. I can’t outrun you,” you smiled, turning to him. “But I can out-eat you.”
Lando’s grin dropped as you combined the two flavours of gelato and plopped them in your mouth. He stood there, dumbfounded while you happily ate the rest.
You replicated his smug grin from earlier and poked your tongue out. “All finished. Sorry,” you shrugged with no sound of an apology hidden in your voice.
Lando swallowed hard, eyes fixated on your mouth. A step closer to you, his body was pressed on yours. His hand travelled up your neck, the other hand resting on your waist to pull you closer.
You inhaled slowly, hairs on your body standing straight. You tried meeting his eyes but all you could see was him focus on your lips. Instinctively, your hand fell to his arm around your waist, fastening yourself to him.
“I... I think I can still taste it,” he said, voice hoarse and dry. He wasn’t sure if he could even recognise himself.
“Lando... I–we're not on the clock,” you whispered, unwilling to untangle yourself from his grasp.
“I don’t care.”
In the blink of an eye, Lando’s lips were smashed against yours and fuck, his lips were soft and pillowy as usual. Your stomach churned upon feeling Lando pushing you closer to him, if that were possible. His fingers were cold against your skin, creeping under the hem of your shirt to rub tingling circles onto your skin.
A breathy gasp fell from your lips while goosebumps littered your skin. Lando took advantage of this, groaning against your lips as he darted his tongue to explore your mouth. He could feel himself press into you, rubbing his hard-on against you.
You think now would be an appropriate time to self-implode. You had all the signs. Burning skin, dizziness, and the lost ability to breathe.
Lando almost buckled under your touch as your fingers scoured his taut torso, lingering dangerously close to his v-line.
“Holy fuck,” he gasped, pulling away to rest his forehead on yours. His hands had found themselves holding yours, preventing you from undoing him any further. His chest heaved, rising up and down while he stared at your swollen lips and moved his eyes to meet yours.
“I want this to be real,” he pleaded, moving your hand to his face. “Please.”
“Lando,” you started but he didn’t want to hear it.
He shook his head. “I think I’m falling in love with you. I think I have been since we first met,” he sighed out, collecting himself. “I don’t want to do this when it’s fake. I want to be with you because what I feel is real. Because you drive me crazy and I can’t imagine a future without you.”
You blinked, feeling his hand trail over yours as you caressed his face. Your heart raced loudly in your ears. How were you supposed to respond to that? “I...”
“Please say something. Anything,” he begged, blue eyes heavily staring down at you.
“As long as you promise to walk with me on every track. Oh, and get me gelato.”
Lando let out the biggest sigh of relief, almost collapsing against your hand. His head dipped down, pressing his lips against you once again, taking you into a long kiss. He sighed, pulling away.
His arms fell around your waist as he grinned at you. “I promise.”

Leans in to hear more about your KH twst AU
AUGHSFHS... THANK YOU FOR BEING INTERESTED!!!!
God I have so many thoughtss.... where to start...
Well for one the world im gonna keep them in is gonna be Scala ad caelum ( Just love that place lol) And there wouldnt be any mentions of kh characters because this is kind of me just inserting Twst charas into the scala ad caelum keyblade student thing with my own ideas... Im still thinking on stuff like dorms..but for grades I think each grade would be learning something new like first years would focus on the basics meanwhile second graders are already focusing on deeper parts of keyblade use (keyblade transformations) and third years actually learning keyblade vernicles so on their fourth year they can finally move on to world travel... Im still thinking on class structures too!! like in dark road the student amount shown for a class is pretty small so my thought would be that each class is small so the teacher can focus on helping more(still a early idea so might stay or get scrapped)
Lore thoughtss too!! all the students in the school are chosen based on who got a keyblade passed down to them... for example!! Ace Got to the school because his brother passed the skill to Ace but he still needs to learn to actually summon and use it!
Honestly this au is just pure self indulgence I wanna see these guys use keyblades while assigning them spells and fighting styles😭☝☝💥
And also would love to hear other peoples suggestions and ideas!! I think rot is best when everyone can feed into it 💖

Xehanort! Got any leads on maybe finding your, uh, dream friends yet?
Tumblr media
The longer I spend with my new friends, the more my mind drifts back to my dreams. Those kids I always see in them… Will I ever get to meet them?
If not, I can take solace in the fact that I've dreamed about them, so much so that I feel like their friend, too.
…Maybe I’ll never find out. But my new friends remind me so much of them in personality. Eraqus’s mischief and kindness is reminiscent of what I’ve gleaned from the silver-haired boy, and while Eraqus may be the spitting image of the one in the hat, Bragi fits his secretive and intelligent nature better. Hermod’s volatile temper is like that of the kid with pink hair, while Urd’s consistent steadiness mirrors the cheer of my mother’s twin. Vor’s insistence that she be treated fairly reminds me very much of the blond boy, and Baldr’s quiet, almost removed air is comparable to my mentor’s. I can’t help but wonder who I would match if I were to assign myself one of these people. Perhaps I, myself am but a collection of traits I’ve gathered from these subconscious figures, having grown up with only them and my mentor as company on the islands.
If I were to attempt a search for them, I would need to become a Master, since that rank allows for unrestricted access to the World and the various worlds within it. My search could take me places I’d never dreamed of seeing, much less considered existing! The very prospect is enough to excite me, and the idea of travel itself isn’t so bad, either. While I enjoy Scala and its comforts, it’s an island community like my original home. Will I ever be truly free of that inherent claustrophobia? Are the worlds within the larger World not like islands themselves, floating as they are in what I’ve heard Master Odin call the ‘Ocean Between’?
I cannot allow these questions to plague my mind now, however. Not until I’ve actually achieved my goal of becoming a Master. Only then will I let myself focus on them. Until that time, I’ll study and hang out with my current friends. No need for the past to dictate my future just yet.

Scala programming help- Functional programming language help
New Post has been published on https://qualityassignmenthelp.com/scala-programming-help-functional-programming-language-help/
Scala programming help- Functional programming language help
Tumblr media
Are you struggling to cope with Scala programming language features, including Tuples, Functions, Macros, and others? Cannot you finish Scala assignments before the deadline? If so, no need to worry anymore.
At Qualityassignmenthelp.com, we have recruited top-notch and highly experienced Scala programmers.
Our Scala assignment helpers are well-versed with the students’ requirements and expectations of universities. They know methodologies that can hone your assignments and grades.
Scala programming assignment help
Scala is a universally acknowledged functional programming language. Like SML and Clojure, Scala is also a functional programming language. Knowing the importance of the Scala language, students all over the globe are getting Scala courses.
Professors assign Scala assignments to hone students’ skills in this language. Unfortunately, some students cannot complete their jobs due to lack of time.
For such students, our Scala assignment help is nothing less than a precious gift.
SO what is Scala
Scala is a remarkably concise, logical, and compelling programming language that results from the combination of both object-oriented and functional languages.
Features like Tuples, Functions, and Macros make Scala a programmers’ friendly language. Running of Scala programs on a java virtual machine makes it even more compatible, versatile, and favorable.
Scala (pronounced as “ska-lah”) is a universally useful programming language planned by Martin Odersky. The plan of Scala began in 2001 at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Scala was delivered freely in 2004 on the Java stage. It is intended to be compact and addresses the reactions of Java. Scala source code is arranged to Java byte code, and the following executable code runs on a Java Virtual Machine. The most recent arrival of Scala is 2.12.8.
Prominent features and facts about Scala
Credible Scala programming helpers find themselves responsible for teaching and clarifying the basics of Scala.
Auto-Inference: Scala naturally induces type data. The client provides type data just on the off chance that it is essential.
  Mutable and Immutable Variables: Using Scala programming language is easy and getting Scala programming help from us is fun. Scala permits us to make any factor impermanent or unchanging at the hour of the announcement.
  No Semicolon: Semicolon goes about as a separator in the vast majority of the advanced programming languages(C, C++, Java, and so forth) and is a compulsory character to be composed after each explanation. Notwithstanding, Scala needn’t bother with a semicolon after each proclamation. Newline characters can isolate scala explanations.
  Import articulations: It isn’t essential to compose all import explanations at the program’s start. Bringing in classes in Scala should be possible anytime.
  Features of Scala: Apart from all OOP highlights of Java, Scala has highlights of utilitarian programming dialects like Scheme, Standard ML, and Haskell, including currying, type deduction, permanence, languid assessment, and example coordinating.
  Functions and Procedures: In Scala, capacities and techniques are two distinct substances and are not utilized reciprocally. Ability can restore any sort and contains = sign in its model.

Luxu is a character that was assigned to be a faceless observer of the narrative. Player is a faceless observer who forced themselves into the narrative.
How would you write the two meetings?
If they meet, it is outside the pages of history.
If they speak, their words go unrecorded.
Such a meeting would never be known by the statutes of what we call ‘canon,’ if it ever did occur in the first place.
Luxu is not entirely sure what brings him here, to this place full of Light and sea. Destiny Islands, the locals call it, and it is a World that remains stable through the cycles of Light and Dark the rest of the Worlds involve themselves in.
Much like Scala ad Caelum, actually. A place to remain the same, so history may take place. So the future can happen.
“Hello. Market Day isn’t until next week.”
He turns to catch a figure moving towards, stumbling through the sands. Luxu calls them a ‘figure’ because there’s something...lacking about the blue cloak that covers every inch of skin. Lacking in gender, at least, man or woman.
Or even the thought of something in between those binaries so many people demand. Much like Luxu himself, actually, no matter how he uses ‘he/him’ for his own convenience. (Or the convenience of others...?)
The truth, as always, is far more complicated.
“I’m not here for whatever you sell here.”
The figure pauses. “Oh?”
“No.” What possesses him to say what he does next...could it be Darkness itself? “I’m here from outside this World.”
“Oh. Oh. Which one? Are you from...?” The figure hesitates. So different from every sure movement they’ve made so far, even the ones that have almost got them tumbled over onto the beach shells.
“Before? Are you a Dandelion?”
Luxu can’t help the jerk at hearing that from this stranger. A Dandelion? As far as he knows, no other made it out past the Union Leaders he observed. None were awake to run. Excepting...
“You’re that kid. The extra. The one who wasn’t supposed to be a Dandelion.”
The figure’s stance hardens, shoulders stiffening up. “...you must be Luxu.”
Luxu. Luxu. How do they know that name.
“You know what, I didn’t think the Foretellers went around babbling about little old me to their kids,” Luxu remarks, as casual as he can fake it.
The figure hesitates. “No. They didn’t. But. I asked. And you aren’t any of the others, I saw happened to them and the Foretellers...so you must be Luxu.”
Luxu claps. “Excellent reasoning! What’s your name?”
“My name? Oh. It’s ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛.”
Nothing but static. Just like-
The figure laughs, a little. “Yeah, I can’t tell anyone my name now. I guess it’s the price for...what I did.”
They fake a casual shrug, mimicking Luxu’s own gesture from earlier. “Nothing to worry about, I don’t really talk to people much these days. So what are you doing here, Luxu?”
“Just taking a look at this place for myself. So...what did you think about becoming a Dandelion?” Luxu asks, genuinely curious. He never got a chance to talk to any of the Union Leaders about this, outside of Brain, and Brain always refused to say anything about that time in the dataworld.
So what answer will this stranger provide?
“You know, the Dandelions plan was an awful one,” the figure says. Looking out to the horizon, not meeting Luxu’s eyes. “We should have stayed and helped each other, not been...pitted against each other. I did what I did to save Ephemer and everyone else...but it was wrong. Whoever came with that...”
A gloved hand pulled into a tight fist.
“They were wrong. I hate them, for what they did to everyone. Isn’t that awful?”
This nobody can’t say that about the Master’s plan. The Master that Luxu has sacrificed everything and everyone for.
(He’ll make this hurt.)
“Your friends are gone,” Luxu draws out, relishing every flinch the stinging message nets him. “They are gone and you will never see them again. You’re going to die before they will, don’t you know? And you won’t see them...”
Because Dark things don’t get to move on. And this person before is full of Dark.
(Just like Luxu himself.)
The figure stands still. As still as the fixed positions of the stars in the skies.
"You can't bring them back."
Luxu pauses in his step. Of course he can't bring them back, that's what the plan is for-
"You'll have changed and they won't have. You can't bring back what you had," the other repeats.
He turns just enough to meet a yellowish eye staring at him, from under that blue hood.
“Just what you said, about my friends being gone? Yours are, too. You just don’t know it yet.”
Luxu can’t speak, he can’t even move- as those damning words continue.
“I got a chance to grow up beyond ‘a role.’ But you?” Those yellow tinted eyes hold the worst emotion of all, as they look at him: understanding. “You’ve never had that chance.”
“I...” Luxu swallows. He doesn’t need to breathe, he’s never had to before. But something about this place, this person, leaves his useless lungs struggling to be filled.
“No offense, but I hope we never meet again.”
“...that sounds like a good idea,” Luxu makes out.
The figure looks out to the sea. When they look back, Luxu is gone. Just them. Them and...
“Baba, baba! Look, I found a starfish!” The patter of small feet, bright silver eyes excited. A pink starfish held up, over a small white-haired head.
They chuckle at their child’s enthusiasm. “Very nice, Xehanort. But don’t forget to put it back in the sea, okay?”
Xehanort nods solemnly, every inch of his six years. “I won’t. I promise, I’ll put every starfish back!”
“I know you will. I know.”

Hi Raina! I'd like to appeal to your hard-won wisdom on The Adult World-- do you think it's possible to teach yourself/find online resources to help learn things like data analysis? I want to look at numbers and graphs and spreadsheets for money but don't know what resources are good enough to trick capitalism and bosses into hiring me for it!
Oh, yeah, 100% Source: I pretty much did that. So first the disclaimers: I did have a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, and I did shell out for an MBA as my happy-divorce-day present to myself. I know that I really don't use either of those things in my day-to-day work, but hiring managers probably are considering them when they look at my resume. I'm also white, a native English speaker, and talk like an educated middle-class suburbian, which I'm sure also play into mangers' willingness to give me the benefit of the doubt. So my exact path may not work for you. That said, data, in particular, has several advantages right now:
1) Demand is large, and supply is small. If my department doubled in size, we could still not quite answer all of the questions the business leaders are asking of us. I don't think there's been a moment that I've worked for this company that we didn't have a least one job slot we were hiring for. In addition to making this a lucrative industry, it also makes it fairly easy to break into, because hiring managers are willing to accept far less perfect candidates if only they can get someone who knows something working on this project.
2) The field is changing very fast. No one knows what languages or software we'll be using a year from now, so it doesn't really matter that much if you don't know the one we happen to be using right now. Supervisors are much more concerned with "When it turns out we have to switch our entire reporting scheme to Scala, will you be able to learn that?" And in that context, it is incredibly encouraging to hear a candidate say that they once had to do a thing in Python but they didn't know Python so they Googled and perused Stack Overflow until they could do the thing. You are very likely to have a question at the interview that's something like "Describe a time you had to learn something quickly" or "What's your approach when you don't know how to do something?", and as an autodidact, you will have lots of examples for those moments.
3) There are lots of places that don't have anything at all. A person who knows how to put conditional formatting on a column in Excel would be an improvement on what some smaller companies are currently doing. If you can make a graph and code a vlookup() function, then you're an Expert!
4) the field is so new, and is changing so fast, we're still working out the distinctions between the assorted sub-fields. Which means you can start as someone who does data visualization, pivot to data science, change your mind and end up in data engineering, and then decide to do database administration instead.
So yeah. My recommendation is to search job boards for things that look like they might be what you want to do, and write down what the minimum qualifications are for each one. If you already meet 70% of the requirements, start applying! If not, make a li'l histogram of requirements they want and you don't have, and start finding ways to get them.
I, for instance, downloaded an SQL syllabus from some university class that had it publicly posted, and learned SQL by just doing the assignments on my own time when things were slow at the retail job I had. I got an office job on the strength of that, buuuuut my first assignment wasn't really doable in SQL, so I did the work in Python (a language that, up until that point, I had made 0 programs in, but I had watched while someone else made a program in it), and then bodged it into Excel for visualization. That made me look enough like a developer that the data science team was willing to talk to me, and so I got to sit in on the Alteryx intro seminar when they did, and then (since Alteryx was brand new and didn't really have any documentation or communities at that point) taught myself how to use it by trial-and-error. That got me enough experience that I subsequently got offered a job paying twice as much, working with BASH, hql, scala, and Jenkins (a list of coding options that -- you'll notice -- I had not yet had any experience in).
Basically, as a rule, hiring managers have no idea what all is going on behind the scenes, nor do they care, as long as they get the intended outcome. So my approach for interviews is to approach it as communication/translation problem for the first half: what exactly are they hoping the person in this position will be doing? "So, for example, {possible project based on my understanding of how they described the job}, would that be the type of thing?" Repeat until you're pretty sure you know what they're looking for. If you can do that thing, then you're justified in saying "I can do that", and you probably have evidence to back it up. So the second half of the interview is using their questions as an opportunity to lay out your evidence. Bonus: asking questions in the interview makes you look both smarter and more engaged!
If you get a technical interview/whiteboarding interview, don't panic! They're looking more at how you approach the problem than they're looking at your actual ability to write solid code / know the exact names for everything (my last interview I had to ask "What's that?" after, like, 3/4 of the questions. Then the interviewer would start describing it, and I'd be like "OH yeah, so then ....". I got the job.) So if you don't know what to do, start writing out outlines, mind-maps, lists ... whatever would help you figure out how to get started. Write down the facts of the situation, and implications of those facts; write down questions you have, and how to get them answered. This is a situation where partial credit is very VERY much a possibility, so get as many possible partial-credit sources on the whiteboard as possible.
So yeah. Coursera, Khan Academy, etc, all great. You can also just find some school that doesn't password-protect their class materials, and if you can mess around enough to solve the problems on the homework assignments, then you know (at least) as much as anyone who's officially taken that class. Alteryx and Tableau offer free online training with a web-portal sample of their software. You could also check for volunteer opportunities: I'm organizing permit applications for Sierra Club, and I bet there's a non-profit near you that would be equally delighted (read: fucking overjoyed) to let you take over all graph/numbers/spreadsheets for their projects. Then you get them to write you a letter of recommendation, and put the reporting work on your resume, and you've got "real world experience" while you're saving the world.
I wish you the best, and feel free to ask more questions as you go farther along your journey! I definitely recommend the data-work life; it's been my favorite career so far.

Scala Final year project help
Scala being scalable, object-oriented, Compatible, and interoperable, has many ideas and innovations to offer for students. Universities assign Scala final year projects to students to hone their skills in Scala.

Scala is a programming language that combines object-oriented and functionalprogramming into one high-level, concise language. Many well known organizations are moving from Java to Scala programming because it improves scalability and productivity of the organization. Scala runs on the Java platform and is compatible with Java programs already in existence which is an added advantage.
Scala is a programming language largely compared to Java and Python because of their capability of all of them being used by big data experts when choosing a programming language for Apache Spark. Different data analysts or data scientists may prefer any of the programming languages between Scala and Python because of the benefits they realize. Both Scala and Python are easy to program and help data experts get productive fast. Hence, they can learn both.

The Lost Princess Chapter 38
Warnings: same as the last chapter
Rating: SFW
Tumblr media
“A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory.”
“A far-off memory that's like a scattered dream.”
“I want to line the pieces up--yours and mine.”
It was your birthday yet again in Daybreak Town. All of the foretellers gathered together and released lanterns for your birthday.
“How long do you think we’ll keep this up?” Aced asked.
“Till I get my daughter back,” Ira said.
“But we don’t even know if she’s alive. How do you know that you’ll get her back?” Invi said.
“I can feel it in my heart. She’s alive and she’s happy. And she will return.”
~~~~
Xehanort smirked at the sight of the lanterns entering Scala ad Caelum.
“So, he’s still hopeful of his daughter. He won’t be for long,” he said. He summoned his Keyblade and broke one of the lanterns.
“That girl will fall into darkness. She just needs a little convincing,” he said.
~~~~
Roxas walked through the basement corridor. He saw two capsules with familiar faces inside.
“...Donald. ...Goofy?” he asked. He turned to the door at the end of the hall and entered. DiZ was standing in a completely bright room in front of a single large capsule.
“At last, the Keyblade's chosen one. The protector of the Spirit,” he said.
“Who are you talking to? Me? Or Sora?” Roxas asked.
“To half of Sora, of course. You reside in darkness. What I need is someone who can move about the realm of light and destroy Organization XIII.”
“Why? Who are you?”
“I am a servant of the world.” DiZ laughed.
“And if I'm a servant, then you should consider yourself a tool, at best,” he said.
“Was that... Was that supposed to be a joke?” Roxas asked as he summoned his keyblade.
“'Cause I'm not laughing!” he said. Roxas ran up to DiZ and struck through him. The Keyblade created a wave of data through DiZ. Roxas, surprised, stood straight.
“My apologies. This is only a data-based projection,” DiZ said. Roxas screamed in anger, and futilely struck DiZ repetitively with the Keyblade. DiZ vanished and reappeared behind him while Roxas caught his breath.
“Come, over here,” DiZ said. Roxas stared at DiZ.
“I hate you so much...” he said.
“You should share some of that hatred with Sora. He's far too nice for his own good,” DiZ said.
“No! My heart belongs to me!” Roxas ran and cut again through DiZ. DiZ disappeared and the capsule glowed. The mechanical petals opened slowly and revealed what they contained.
“Sora...(Y/N)...” Roxas said. There, you and Sora were sleeping soundly in the capsule.
“You're lucky. Looks like my summer vacation is...over,” Roxas said. Roxas turned around and faded to white.
“Sora? (Y/N)?” he asked.
“Huh?” you asked.
“Who's there?” Sora asked.
“Sora! (Y/N)!” Donald said.
“Wake up, you two,” Goofy said. You and Sora woke up and the capsule opened again in front of Donald and Goofy. You and Sora stretch and the other two laugh at how small your clothes have gotten. You and Sora jumped out of the capsule in front of them and grabbed them in your arms.
“Donald!” you said.
“Goofy!” Sora said. The four of you laughed and hopped in a circle. Jiminy Cricket climbed on Sora's shoulder, yawned, and stretched. Odile did the same thing on your shoulder.
“That was some nap!” Jiminy said. Jiminy hopped down to the floor.
“You mean, we were asleep?” you asked.
“I guess we musta been, or I don't think we'd be so drowsy...”
“When do ya think we went to sleep?” Goofy asked.
“Uhh...” Donald said.
“Let's see...we defeated Ansem...” Sora said.
“Yep,” Goofy said.
“...restored peace to the world...found Kairi... Oh yeah, and then we went to look for Riku. And my brother gave me Odile and showed me memories of my parents. I think that's right so far,” you said.
“Then what?” Donald asked.
“What does your journal say, Jiminy?” Goofy asked. Jiminy took out his journal.
“Gee, there's only one sentence... ‘Thank Naminé.’ Hmm... I wonder who that is,” he said. You, Sora, Donald, Odile, and Goofy looked at one another and shook your heads.
“Some journal that is,” Donald said.
“Well, what do ya say we find out where we are!” Jiminy said. You and the group walked to Twilight Town and entered the Usual Spot.
“You know, I think I've been to this town,” Sora said.
“Me too,” you said.
“What's it called?” Donald asked.
“Hmm... Guess we must've imagined it,” Sora said. Hayner, Olette, and Pence were boredly lying around the room.
“What do you want!?” Hayner asked.
“Uh, nothing. Just wondering what was back here,” you said.
“Now you know. This is our spot.”
“Umm...” Pence said.
“What?” Sora asked.
“You're...new around here, right? I'm Pence.”
“Hayner. Nice to meet you, but we got stuff to do, so catch ya later,” Hayner said as he left.
“My name's Olette. Hey, did you finish up the summer homework, yet? Independent studies are the worst, huh?” Olette said.
“Homework?” you and Sora asked. The two of you looked at Donald and Goofy, who shrugged.
“Hey, what're your names?” Pence asked.
“Oh. We’re Sora, (Y/N), Donald, and Goofy,” Goofy said.
“And this is Odile,” you said. Odile popped out and looked at everyone.
“Aww, she’s so cute!” Olette said as she scratched under Odile’s chin. Odile purred at the feeling.
“You know, we just met someone who was looking for you,” Goofy said.
“He sure seemed in a hurry. He had a black coat on so I couldn't see his face, but he had these big round ears,” Pence said.
“The King!” Donald said.
“Where'd you see him?” Sora asked.
“At the station,” Pence said.
“The station! Thanks!” you said.
“Well, we'd better get back to that assignment,” Olette said.
“Later,” Pence said. Him and Olette lef the Usual Place, leaving you, Odile and the trio by yourselves.
“Oh boy! The King's trying to find us!” Donald said.
“Yeah, let's get to the station!” Sora said. The five of you entered the Sandlot and found Seifer, Fuu and Rai.
“Hey you, where'd you come from?” Seifer asked.
“Uhh...” you said.
“You here to pick a fight with us or something?”
“Fight? We're not here to fight,” Sora said.
“Yeah, you big palooka!” Donald said.
“Okay, smartalecks... Time to teach you how to behave in my town. Bring it!” Seifer said. Him, Fuu, and Rai took defensive stances. Odile stood in front of you and the trio in a hostile manner.
“Calm down, Odile. We’re not gonna fight these guys,” you said.
“Man, what a jerk,” Sora said. Donald nodded and the five of you continued your trek to find the station. The five of you continued to Central Station and were suddenly surrounded by Dusks. You all fought them, but were overwhelmed and became exhausted. Mickey appeared on the ledge of the station. As the Dusks striked again and Sora held up his Keyblade while you held onto your dagger and Odile, Mickey swooped down and destroyed the remaining Nobodies with his own Keyblade. You and Sora were amazed. Donald and Goofy pushed you and Sora down and out of the way.
“Your Majesty?” Donald asked.
“Shh! You gotta board the train and leave town! The train knows the way,” Mickey said as he held out a pouch of munny.
“Here,” he said. Sora took it and Mickey ran to Market Street.
“Your Majesty...” Donald said.
“The King... Was that really him?” Sora asked.
“It coulda been... Yep, I know it was!” Goofy said.
“Now we know he's okay!” Donald said.
“The king was locked in the realm of darkness, right?” you asked.
“Uh-huh,” Goofy said.
“But we just saw him,” Sora said.
“Yep,” Donald said.
“And if the king is here, that means Riku’s here!” you said.
“He’s gotta be!” Donald said.
“Well, (Y/N) and I are gonna go look for Riku. Then we can go back to the islands together. Kairi’s there waiting for us! What are you two gonna do?” Sora said.
“Gawrsh, Sora. Do ya have to ask?” Goofy said. You and Sora giggled. Odile nudged your cheek, grabbing your attention.
“Huh? What is it, Odile?” you asked. Odile moved around, asking about Vanitas.
“Vani...I don’t know. I don’t know where he is or if he’s okay. But as long as I have you, Odile, I think he’ll be okay,” you said.
“You really care about him, huh?” Donald asked.
“Of course. He was my best friend and my brother. I have to know if he’s okay.”
“Hey, what do ya say, guys? Let’s stick together for one more journey,” Sora said. You all nodded in agreement.
“To...where again?” he asked.
“We hafta board the train!” Goofy said.
“Oh yeah.” You and Donald sighed while Odile shook her head.
“C'mon!” Sora said. The four of you ran inside the station.
“Wait up!” Hayner said. Him, Pence, and Olette caught up to you.
“Hey, Sora, (Y/N)...” he said.
“What?” you asked.
“Nothing, but...”
“We came to see you off. It just seemed like something we oughta do,” Pence said.
“Oh...really? Thanks!” Sora said. Suddenly, there was a ringing sound.
“You should hurry and get your tickets,” Olette said.
“Right,” you said. Sora took out the Munny Pouch at the teller and Olette noticed.
“What is it?” you asked. Olette took an exact copy of the Munny Pouch.
“They're the same,” Goofy said.
“Yeah,” Olette said. Sora looked to both pouches and shrugged.
“Four tickets, please!” he said. The teller gave him four tickets.
“I can't help feeling like we won't see this town again...” Sora said.
“Why not?” you asked.
“You're thinkin' too much,” Goofy said.
“Yeah, you're right!” You and the Trio boarded the train and followed it to Master Yen Sid’s tower.
~~~~
A girl was walking along the halls of a castle, trying to find her sister. She soon found her, reading a book in the seating area. She walked over to her and looked at her.
“Ugh, what do you want?” the sister asked.
“Father wants to see us,” the girl said. The sister groaned and followed the girl to their father’s office. The girl knocked on the door and waited for her father’s response.
“Enter,” he said. The two girls entered and saw their father at his desk.
“You wanted to see us?” the sister asked.
“Yes. A spirit has awoken. Find her and bring her here,” he said.
“A spirit? I thought that we were the only ones,” the girl said.
“Well, you’re not. Now go and don’t keep me waiting.”
“Yes, father,” the two girls said. They walked out of his office and walked down the halls.
“Should we ask Uncle Xigbar for help?” the sister asked.
“No. I think we can handle ourselves. Besides, it’s just one spirit. We’re far more stronger than she is,” the girl said. The sister smirked and summoned her weapon.
“This is going to be fun,” she said.
to be continued...
KHUX Theory Confirmations
Oh my god so much so much
Alright let me lay out my original theories all in one pretty picture. I subscribe hard to @kingdomheartsnyctophiliac‘s Ava=Darkness theory-- so much that I’m down with the next logical conclusion that Ava killed Strelitzia to make room for Brain, her man on the inside. Ava as the traitor, disguising herself as darkness, basically trying to hatch a coup against the very role MoM had her follow is a great twist and it is still alive.
Brain’s got the Book
Now in my theorizing I believed the reason why Ava would off Strel is because maybe, Strel was the one circled in red that MoM assigned the BoP to. Knowing the book was selectively granted, the fact that the verified impostor in the group has it means it might have been the very motive as to why her. Now as a reminder, the timeline of this switcheroo is very fast but there is still ample time for this to go down.
Timeline:
Ava carries out her duty and selects the union leaders
Ava confronts Luxu and learns an unknown truth. She is the traitor. The bell rings and the keykids prepare for war
Strel panics and tries to find player hoping its not too late, walks into the store room.
Strel is killed. The Switcheroo is put into action.
War happens and the Dandelion’s retreat.
According to my reasoning Ava changes gears only after talking to Luxu and triggering the war. If she is the culprit then pre-bell Ava can blindly follow the role and pick Strel and post-bell Ava can then basically back peddle that act in order to sabotage MoM’s goal.
Now I insist that Brain is pretty innocent in all this. Regardless of his level of knowledge of Ava’s plot he did not dirty his hands with Strel’s blood. There’s a good potential he doesn’t understand what brought him to the seat he sits on at all. Furthermore the information they are currently discovering mainly pertains to MoM’s part of the plot. Aka-The orchestration to put them in a digital bunker-- not so much Ava’s counter plot with Strel’s death. He says he’s not sure how much Ava even knew of the (MoM’s) plot and that could be very true. From this we can assume Ava didn’t actually tell Brain much, but simply entrusted him with the task to change/destroy the program. The exact end that program was aiming towards is something Ava perhaps did not fully realize.
MoM’s goal.
So this update really helped with my theorized motives here. So I had laid out in a recent post that the entire X, Unchained, Ux stuff appears like a series of experimental trials. The fact that MoM reveals that this war has been ongoing is extremely enlightening. Because that means that MoM’s plot is serving some kind of end in exacerbation of this cycle. That this is something he either wants to discover why the war inevitably occurs or he wants to discover the means to finally prevent the war from inevitably happening again (be that by eliminating the darkness that persists alongside the light or whatnot). Ergo the idea of the MoM creating this closed off ‘bunker’ where he controls the variables makes a ton of sense (and Lauriam even calls it a cage). He’s trying to get to the bottom of it or change it.
The stuff about darkness changing shape and persisting in the hearts of man is interesting in the interpretation of the cosmology of kh but ultimately I think it’s fancy talk for the darkness of human nature. It sheds light on MoM’s apparent pessimism or weariness of this cycle though. So we have 2 variations of motives for MoM. We got a mad scientist route that paints him more morbidly curious and fascinated by the cycle. This is probably the interpretation Ava discovers prior to hatching her coup. But then we’ve got this martyr route that makes it so MoM is simply try to prevent the war from happening ever again.
Ava’s Goal
So I refer to the mad scientist route as the route Ava understands because I have long picked up that MoM’s Dandelion plot goes to extreme lengths to manipulate the new variables (the leaders) into the very same positions of tension as the original run in a style similar to an experimental trial. As with the Fortellers there are arbitrary unions (for division), there is a secret chosen leader to have crucial information (the Lost Page and the BoP) and there are mechanisms in place that encourage the building of power, in-fighting, and completely refuse recovery (PvP recreation and memory overwriting).
Like many watchers of Back Cover, the obvious answer to the question “who is the traitor” is simply “there is no traitor”. The paradox is that very truth creates a traitor in Ava. From my theory Luxu’s conversation with Ava that results in the bell tolling reveals this. Ava acts in initial denial and then betrayal, refusing the role and very quickly hatching a plot to negate that role.
So MoM simply manipulated the situation to build the tension and made it happen. Now that we know that even before X, the Keyblade War was cyclically occurring to MoM’s witness, and now we have a better perspective to the fact that MoM was clearly invoking the war to happen with his apprentices. But even more, it was a long plot to manipulate the rebirth of the realm. And curious enough, the realm is now of his making. (God mode anyone?).
On that note he calls Unchained the trial and UX the ‘real deal’. If Unchained was basically retelling X, then the fact that they expanded past that telling means that MoM has a very stark interest in making the UX phase of the plot unfold differently (or maybe... simply watching IF it unfolds differently).
Who knows, there could actually be well meaning intentions in all this manipulation, we are at least getting some level of feedback to both of those perspectives.
DT as a data-world
This is a confirmation that really... soothes my heart. The persistence that the entire Dandelion reality was real was starting to erode the theories guys. I did joss my meta-catastrophe concept that Game Station was actually digitizing the world from the outside but it’s honestly easier to swallow this way. In summary, the leaders insisted that the world they left for after the war was real because believing it was data would key them in too early that they are trapped. Lauriam states that truth just as much. It is a cage. The truth is that if they left to the real world there would be nothing but the ruins of the war they left behind.
This kinda helps with the concepts of worldlines too. I was originally allowing worldlines to have a definition of ‘real’-- expanding the concept of reality to have multiple planes of legitimacy, but it almost seems safe now to interpret worldlines as entirely fabricated strands of reality. Say, a dream or a data construction. I know this was a movement before, but I held on to the idea that there could be a ‘real’ definition in the worldlines based on Luxu’s Observations of the KHUX happenings. This informs a little more about Sora’s kh3 shenanigans (creating dreams that unfold differently?) and implies a wealth of what actually needs to go down to bring us to Scala and make the leaders time displaced (escape the data world and rebuild atop the ruins of the decimated DT from the X war-- and time doesn’t flow in the dream realms a la ddd so they could leave the dream at potentially wild points in time).
Keyblade War cycle
On a side note, MoM is very evasive when Luxu is asking clarification questions about the forces involved in his childhood war and even the existence of keyblade-- weapons we know MoM himself devised the crafting of. My thought is that the ‘keyblade war’ is a catch-all term MoM is using to describe a repetitive, endless cycle of world-ending destruction. Basically war in general. The keyblade aspect is potentially an added element of his creation. Potentially. Not entirely positive on that matter.
But essentially I do not think events of X was happening over and over and over again. The Keyblade War took many forms but always resulted in total destruction and was always rebuilt by the survivors. By the time X started MoM was invoking the war and trying to control how it unfolds and again, control the rebirth of the world.
Finally
I have a few more off-shoots to spin from these confirmations. (Xehanort’s ambition to learn about this war by recreating it echoes MoM so discovering that it’s kinda already been done would potentially halt his actions explaining Luxu’s defensive measure against steering Xehanort away from the past). And there are some questionable reactions in the murder mystery drama (my new Ven sleeper agent theory felt some gooooood support with MoM’s description of darkness taking human shape). But my meta catastrophe is seeing some revisions with MoM still behaving like an author and worldlines asserting themselves as fabricated, but MoM’s origin seems to have firmer feet in the realms of fiction at least for now (though his childhood ‘Keyblade’ War is vague enough to be our form of war you know).
This is just my ramblings. I cannot for the life of me make my khux theories streamlined.
Hello! I'm sure you've received hundreds of questions like these, but I can't help it. Do you have any plans for Kingdom Hearts 3 songs? Which new song is your favorite?
No worries, they’re always fun to answer! YES absolutely. Volume 3 planning and track assignments began before Remind was released. Aside from that, we’re also working on another fun music project in tandem. Favorite of the new songs is probably The Final World, but Scala’s battle theme and this gorgeous piece are right behind it
Saint of the Day – 30 June – Blessed Gennaro Maria Sarnelli C.Ss.R. (1702–1743) aged 42 – Redemptorist Priest, Lawyer, Writer, Preacher, Apostle of the Charity, Social Reformer, he also initiated a fervent movement against the spread of prostitution – born on 12 September 1702 in the castle of Duke Zapata, Naples, Italy of a noble family and died on 30 June 1744 in Naples, Italy of natural causes. Patronages – Writers, Italian missionaries.
Tumblr media
Sarnelli was one of Saint Alphonsus Maria de’ Liguori’s (1696-1787 Most Zealous Doctor of the Church) earliest companions and was also a prolific writer.   He published more than 30 books on a wide range of subjects, including socio-juridical studies, moral issues, mysticism, pedagogy, pastoral practice, Mariology and ascetical theology.   His apostolic zeal knew no limits – he preached missions and aided his friend St Alphonsus in his work, he tended to the sick and helped to get girls out of prostitution despite the threats levelled against him.
Tumblr media
From his childhood he was noted for being modest as well as for his self-denial and his great diligence in his studies.   He was obedient to his parents though when he perceived he was disobedient he begged their pardon and would either kiss their hand or throw himself at their feet.   He often visited the church of Saint Francis Xavier as a child.   In 1716 he desired to become a Jesuit but his father objected due to his age and directed him to learn law instea, the beatification of Saint John Francis Regis was also an influence in his decision.   He did this (learning jurisprudence and earning his doctorate in civil and canon law in 1722) and became quite successful in this field as a professional Lawyer and was enrolled in the Congregation of the Knights of the Legal and Medical Professions that the Pious Workers of Saint Nicholas of Toledo directed.   One of the rules of this association – which he observed – was visiting the sick in the Hospital of the Incurables.   It was while tending to the ill in the hospital that his call to become a priest blossomed to the point he could not ignore such a call.
Tumblr media
In September 1728 he abandoned the bar and decided to become a priest after commencing his ecclesial studies.   Cardinal Francesco Pignatelli incardinated him as a cleric to the parish of Santa Anna di Palazzo.   His zeal showed itself at once in his labours for children whom he catechised with wonderful success.   On 4 June 1729 he became a boarder at the Collegio della Santa Famiglia to continue his studies under more peaceful conditions though left on 8 April 1730 to enter the novitiate of the Congregation of the Apostolic Missions.
Tumblr media
He concluded this probation on 28 May 1731] He was ordained to the priesthood on 8 June 1732 and became a member of the Propaganda of Naples which was a congregation of secular priests devoted to apostolic work.   He also gave all his wealth to the poor for he had no use for it himself.   Cardinal Pignatelli assigned him to serve as the Director of Religious Instruction in the parish of Saints Francis and Matthew in the Spanish quarter.   He also visited the old people in the Hospice of Saint Gennaro and those condemned to death who were ill in the hospital at the docks.   It was at this time that he developed a friendship with Saint Alphonsus Maria de’ Liguori after the two first met in Chiaiano.
In June 1733 he travelled to Scala to aid a friend at a mission at Ravello and he met up with and became one of the earliest companions to Liguori in founding the Redemptorists which he joined in 1733.   The pair worked together and gave missions along the coast of Amalfi from 1735 to April 1736 when Sarnelli’s health started to decline.   He had to return to Naples where he spent the next decade in a poor apartment with one religious as a companion.   In 1841 he prepared for the canonical visitation of Cardinal Giuseppe Spinelli so planned and participated in missions at Casali.   Having become aware of the rampant corruption of girls he decided to direct all his work against prostitution.   But doing this work earned him threats from the criminal element that made profit from this.   In April 1744 he stopped preaching altogether because his health became so dire.
On the day of his death, the doctor came at around 8:00 am to see him while he later said to the religious next to him: “I feel the chill of death”.   The religious rushed to summon the priest who gave him absolution.   Sarnelli kissed his clasped Crucifix from time to time.
Tumblr media
He died at 10:00am on 30 June 1744.   His old friend Liguori was present at his bedside as Sarnelli died and noted a sweet odour that remained in the room even long after Sarnelli was buried, the religious Francesco Tartaglione and the novice Francisco Romito were also present.   His brother Domenico was so overcome with emotion he did not want to leave the room where his brother’s remains were.   His remains were buried on 2 July 1744 in the parish church of Santa Maria dell’Aiuto in Naples (in the San Nicola chapel) though were later reinterred in the Redemptorist church of Santi Alfonso e Antonio at Tarsia in Naples.   His remains were moved again on 25 October 1994 to the Redemptorist church of La Santissima Trinità in Ciorani.
Tumblr media
His old friend Liguori was his first biographer and noted the circumstances of Sarnelli’s death in which he was present; Liguori noted that his remains “… exhaled a sweet odour – which remained in the room long after the interment.
Sarnelli’s fame for holiness was a well-known fact during his life but his Beatification cause did not open until 1861 in Naples, formal introduction came in 1874 and he was named as Venerable on 2 December 1906. St Pope John Paul II Beatified him on 12 May 1996.
Prayer in Honour of Blessed Gennaro Maria Sarnelli
Holy Redeemer, we place ourselves in Your presence confident that You are a loving and merciful God. You walk with us by day and night, as we strive to proclaim Your gospel with compassion, to people who are poor and abandoned. As we reach out to those most in need, we look to Blessed Gennaro Sarnelli as a model and help. His ardent desire was to bring people on the fringes of society and Church to a deeper knowledge and love of You. We pray that his zeal will inspire and motivate us to share Your redemption with those who are marginalised. We especially remember people who make decisions that lead to destructive and addictive behaviours. May our choices be those of Blessed Sarnelli, who continually lived the gospel in spite of adversity and opposition. We ask his help, that our commitment may not shrink for lack of support or favour, for as we become one with those who are outcast, we become one with You. Amen
