Marie, early thirties, gets a wedding proposal from her boyfriend. Overwhelmed, she goes for the honest way: She has to think about it.

The movie deals with relationship questions in a very amusing way. It takes a while to get used to, but I found it quite funny with the overlapping voices, statements and commentary by various characters. Giving their opinion or commenting on the situations, often breaking the fourth wall.

When the scene described in the summary takes place I wanted to stand up and applaud. I always think putting pressure on someone in such an exposed, public situation is insane. It's like an ambush.

Scandal, school board election failures, and a disastrous 60 Minutes interview appear to have diminished Moms for Liberty’s once powerful influence, and last weekend’s summit provided plenty of additional evidence that the group is currently flailing.  Nearly every Republican presidential hopeful and a number of right-wing giants spoke at Moms for Liberty’s lively summit last year. But this year’s gathering was comparatively small, with far fewer panels and a weaker speaker lineup. In fact, Glenn Beck and D-list comedian Rob Schneider were advertised as the star headliners until the exceptionally late addition of former President Donald Trump just days before the event.  This is the second year that my colleague Madeline Peltz and I attended Moms for Liberty’s summit. It was immediately apparent to us that the small crowd had seemingly been reduced to largely die-hard members who, unlike many, remained loyal to Moms for Liberty through its year of scandal and failure. Co-founder Tina Descovich acknowledged that the organization was losing some support while presenting an award, saying, “You have been a friend to Moms for Liberty when some have stepped away.”

Invoking transgender panic

Much of the conference was spent attempting to terrify parents into believing that schools are secretly grooming, manipulating, and transitioning students. The bag handed to us at registration included an illustrated flyer laying out the ridiculous “school to clinic pipeline,” which, according to the flyer, begins at “pronouns” and ends in a hospital. Almost every speaker we listened to incorporated transgender panic into their speech. One panel was even titled “Protecting Kids from Secret Gender Transitions in Schools.”

Spiritual warfare is anything you want it to be

“This is spiritual warfare,” said far-right political commentator Sebastian Gorka at Friday’s lunch session, “and they are on the side of the devil.” Speakers repeated vague accusations of “spiritual warfare” throughout the weekend. Even comedian-turned-conservative-activist��Rob Schneider accused the pharmaceutical industry of engaging in spiritual warfare.  [...] The summit’s itinerary included the March for Kids, an event promoting parental rights with coalition partners such as Gays Against Groomers and PragerU. (It’s worth noting that the March for Kids wasn’t actually a march, but a largely empty assembly at DAR Constitution Hall.) March for Kids speaker Naomi Van Wyk used the rhetoric of spiritual warfare to describe homosexuality and encouraged intervention to alter same-sex attraction, promoting a form of conversion therapy. 

[...] The Heritage Foundation was one of the earliest supporters of Moms for Liberty and, in turn, the group fell in line with Heritage’s policy priorities and shepherded members toward the think tank’s “resources for parents.” In 2022, Moms for Liberty was the recipient of Heritage’s Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship and Heritage President Kevin Roberts spoke at the group’s 2023 summit. In a breakout session last year, anti-trans activist “Billboard Chris” Elston revealed that The Heritage Foundation had identified and brought together 40 people, including him, in March 2022 to “fight gender ideology.” 

Olivia Little of Media Matters For America went to the 2024 Joyful Warriors National Summit hosted by right-wing extremist “parental rights” group Moms For Liberty.

Little revealed that M4L’s influence has waned over the past year or so.

Herr Wade has been showing up on my music feed, but I didn't know why. Today, I received a CD in the mail from Norway. I actually was assuming it The Fisherman and His Soul CD I'd been waiting for. Instead it was another Sebastian Voss (Germany) project. Herr Wade is Voss with Jørn O. Åleskjæ (Norway).

Herr Wade really doesn't sound like The Fisherman and His Soul. While I would describe this CD as pop, it's more firmly planted in the 1980s sound - think A-ha or any number of bands on the Frischluft! Tonträger label.

This CD is released on Platiruma!!! (Altenberge, Germany). I'm assuming this is associated with Voss. This album was recorded at TeenyTinyStudios and mastered by Heiko Schneider (theCatherines).

My goodness, time flies ! The 2024 tour is already over and Till is right when he says in the song 'Zeit' : "So perfekt ist der Moment / Doch weiter läuft die Zeit"

This year marks 30 years since Rammstein travelled the world with their powerful vocals, rousing music and majestic fire. This year, I've been following the band's adventures for 15 years. I've seen them perform in front of 9,000 people and in front of over 90,000 people. I've seen them in modest venues, in dusty fields and in prestigious stadiums. I've seen them in sweltering sunshine and freezing rain. I've seen them evolve, collectively and individually, and I've evolved with them. I saw them laugh and I laughed with them. I saw them cry and I cried with them. They've been with me for 15 years now, like a second family. They are the most constant thing in my life: family members have moved away, lovers have broken my heart, friends have turned their backs on me, acquaintances have left my life as quickly as they entered it… But they're still here.

This year I had the immense pleasure of seeing them on stage again, and as always, it was an absolute happiness. I'm so grateful to them for the joy they bring to their audience, for the 2h15 spend far away from daily worries, for the smiles on the lips, the stars in the eyes and the happy memories in the heads. I'm so grateful to them for my voice breaking from shouting out their names or the words to their songs, for the aches and pains caused by the headbangs, for the legaches from standing so much, for the tiredness of the sleepless nights. I'm so grateful to them for who they are, for their infectious energy, for their boundless generosity, for their determination and courage in the face of those who would silence them. They are, for me, an example of resilience.

"Wenn unsere Zeit gekommen ist / Dann ist es Zeit zu gehen / Aufhören wenn's am schönsten ist". It's the end of an era, a page has been turned, but the book is not yet finished. So thank you Rammstein, thank you Till, thank you Paul, thank you Flake, thank you Schneider, thank you Oliver, thank you Richard and see you soon... ❤️

Pressure OC Master Post!!

Hi gang, I just wanted to make a master post of all my pressure OCs, because. I can :3

Z-427: Night Light

Aka: Raven Valentina

Subject Z-427 is a younger experiment, made solely just to test the lengths of the DNA Urbanshade had to work with. Her handler, [REDACTED] Schneider, wanted to see if it was possible to use the regenerative abilities of Axolotl DNA, and the Camouflage abilities of certain cephalopods, to effectively create shapeshifting.

In a way, Schneider, and his assistants, Eric and Michelle Valentina, were correct: Z-427 could shapeshift, but not as much as they would have hoped.

Due to circumstances pre-experimentation, Raven is very afraid of the dark. When Z-427 finds itself in the dark, she will grow very hostile.

Hostile Light gives off little light of her own, and will attack anyone who comes near her.

Experimentation left Raven with several memory issues, to the point that she barely even remembered her own name, just her number.

Game Mechanics:

-Night Light is a passive mob you have the ability of encountering. She will always have a light on her. If you take it, you run the risk of encountering Hostile Light, who will deal 50 damage to you and cause you to drop any light source you have, save for the blacklight, hand cranked flashlight, and gummylight.

-Night Light also has the chance to spawn in Sebastian's shop, and if you take her light there, he will punch you. L loser

Z-426: [Code name pending]

Aka: Harley S. Keener.

(sorry it's just a sketch, I'll color him eventually)

Z-426 really had no specific reason to be made. [REDACTED] Schneider just needed him out of the way. The coverup story used by Urbanshade however, was that he was a test to see if venomous sea creature DNA could be transferred to a human. The answer was evidently yes, as the lionfish parts of Z-426 do secrete a venom, and are dangerous to touch.

Pre-experimentation, Harley was the only friend Raven had. After a fight with his father, Harley had gotten into trouble, then swept up by Urbanshade for various reasons. There is where Raven---who had grown up around the Urbanshade facilities---met her first friend.

Post experimentation, they tried to stay close, and Harley tried to protect Raven the best he could. But a badly timed Hostile Light appearance paired with an inescapable Angler left Harley dead and Raven none the wiser.

Now a ghost, forever tethered to the Blacksite, Harley keeps an eye over Raven still, with her not quite knowing---or remembering that he is dead.

Game Mechanics:

After surviving encounter with Hostile Light, you have the chance of encountering this vengeful spirit. Though he never attacks you, Z-426 will haunt you, sitting in the corner of your vision for about 10-20 rooms, causing false angler light flickers, sound cues, and other distractions. It's hard to survive, but encountering him is very rare.

Z-428: The Eclipse Eel

Aka: Cassidy Evans.

(note for Eclipse Eel's design: the eyes all along her body are white with black pupils. Disregard the feet, I forgot to erase them 💀)

Cassidy Evans was [REDACTED] Schneider's ward, willing to do whatever he wanted her to do. Even if that meant getting turned into what she is now. The only reason Schneider ever showed an interest in the girl was due to her strange capabilities with shadows; something Urbanshade would definitely want to keep under wraps.

Pre-experimentation, Cassidy would constantly bug Raven, trapping her in dark rooms, locking her in confined spaces, all together just tormenting her for the fun of it.

Post-experimentation, Z-428 is no different, causing darkness wherever she goes, and targeting rooms Raven hides in specifically.

Game Mechanics:

-Similar to the node monsters, Z-428 will come into a room with lightning speed, shutting off all the lights for the room you're in, and two rooms ahead of it. Hide, or she will find you. If you get into a locker quick enough, she will ignore you, but if she sees you get in, she will put you through a similar mini game as Pandemonium.

-Side rooms and other hiding spots are recommended, but not necessary.
