Speech 7: The Art of Self-Questioning and Choosing What Truly Matters
Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests,
As we continue our journey of self-discovery and the pursuit of authenticity, let us embark on a new exploration—one that involves questioning ourselves deeply and consciously choosing what truly matters in our lives. In this age of information overload and constant distraction, it is essential that we learn to discern what is worth our time and energy. To guide us in this endeavor, I offer you five fundamental questions to ponder:
Can I control the outcome? In a world filled with uncertainties, it's vital to distinguish between the things we can influence and those beyond our control. Focusing our energy on what we can change empowers us to make a real difference in our lives and the lives of others.
Does it add good problems to my life? Often, we are tempted by immediate gratification without considering the long-term consequences. Instead of seeking only comfort, we should embrace challenges that lead to personal growth and fulfillment. The pursuit of good problems can enrich our lives in ways we may not have imagined.
Does it help myself and/or others? Our actions and choices should contribute positively to our own well-being and the well-being of those around us. Consider the impact of your decisions on your own life and the broader community. Strive for a balance that uplifts both yourself and others.
Why do these emotions exist? Emotions are a window into our inner world. Rather than suppressing or being controlled by them, we should explore their origins and meanings. Understanding our emotions allows us to navigate life with greater wisdom and empathy.
Where does this incessant need for attention come from? In our interconnected world, the pursuit of attention has become a prevalent drive. It is crucial to examine the root of this need and question whether it aligns with our true values and desires. True fulfillment often arises from genuine connection rather than superficial attention.
Now, let us contemplate the paradox of seeking more positive experiences. The desire for constant positivity can itself become a negative experience, leading to dissatisfaction and anxiety. However, accepting our negative experiences, acknowledging them without judgment, can be a profoundly positive experience. By facing our challenges head-on, we gain resilience and insight, freeing ourselves from the grip of fleeting emotions. Moreover, we must recognize our natural tendency to project our beliefs and values onto others unconsciously. We often assume that others think and feel as we do, which can lead to misunderstandings and conflicts. To break free from this pattern, we must learn to empathize with diverse perspectives and engage in open-minded dialogue. In conclusion, my esteemed audience, the art of self-questioning and consciously choosing what truly matters is a lifelong journey. By contemplating these five questions and embracing the paradox of positive and negative experiences, we can liberate ourselves from the chains of mindless distraction and lead a life guided by intention and authenticity.May each of you find the courage to explore your inner landscape, make deliberate choices, and cultivate meaningful connections with others. Thank you for your attention. 🌟🤔🌱🌟🤔🌱🌟🤔🌱🌟🤔🌱

You were him and you were her, And you were the person last time you met But are you YOU? I know him and I know her And I know every person I've met, But do I know ME? We consider this and we consider that, And we consider everything that's far ahead, But do we consider OURSELVES? She cares about her and she cares about him And she cares about everything falling in, But does she care about HER? At the end of each day I like looking back and dissecting the day in full. I explore what went wrong, what worked, what didn’t. Where can I improve, where should I have told someone to shove it, what I should have done differently. I have little regrets in life, and at the end of the day I make sure nothing that happened in that day will lead to regrets, no matter how small. If I can close my eyes in satisfaction then I know it was a good day.     #endoftheday #finalthoughts #selfimprovement #selfquestioning #thinkaboutit #behappy #satisfaction #lifesatisfaction #getreadyfortomorrow #simplelife #simpleliving #alifeleadsimply #ipreview via @preview.app (at Pretoria, South Africa) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_Spbwrl7Ef/?igshid=2s4i9e0tl18a

Sometimes we all gotta ask ourselves the tough questions in life, and by tough questions, I mean the silly and random ones. That time I broke down some icebreakers with myself. This is what happens when I take down my Squarespace site and I gotta find a place for that content. ✨💖✨⁣ ⁣ 𝐡𝐭𝐭𝐩𝐬://𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞.𝐜𝐨𝐦/𝐚𝐧-𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰-𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡-𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟/⁣ ⁣ #bloggerstyle #bloggerlife # problogging #savvyblogging #AmWriting #blogpromotion #behindthescenes #bloglife #justforfun #QandA #SelfInterview #Interview #Questions⁣ #SelfQuestions #SelfSurvey #thehappynow #livethelittlethings #pursuepretty #myunicornlife #instagood #instamood #instadaily #instalove #instapic #instaphoto #picoftheday #photooftheday #instaglam https://www.instagram.com/p/CEiAnUqFMMw/?igshid=qn9v43ic5v1p

Self Identity
How is your life? Do you really enjoy your lifestyle? Do you really experience life as it is or do you live by projecting past experience in to the present? Do you want to be good enough? Are you good enough now or you do expect do be good enough or better in the future? So how do you measure your “good-ennoughness”. Can you really be good enough? Are you compering yourself with other people? Do you try to prove that you are good enough every day? Are you competing? Are you being yourself? Are you being? Are you now?
Every story we tell ourselves about our life is a way to justify that we are better than anybody else .
Every belief we have is to strenghten the idea about ourselves and build an identity of a succesfull person .
It is never too late to break the wheel and become your true self now ,

As I sit here with incense listening to Sabrina Claudio
As I sit here thinking of all the choices I’ve made throughout the quarter I ponder what I am, who I am, and what am I going to be. For right now I sit losing myself within the people I encounter. Am I losing myself? What I identify as? Or is it that I’ve never really found myself in the first place?
