This song reminds me to Charlie so much, specially since she used to have a emo/goth phase. I have the headcanon that she dropped the emo/goth look when she got in a toxic relationship with Seviathan, but she still has the subculture in her heart and loves the music even if she likes other genres. After all, Goth is a music based subculture, so even if she doesn't look the part and acts perky all the time, that doesn't define anything and is a way to break goth stereotypes :)

I kinda imagine Charlie discovering the human goth/emo culture while livning in hell all her life and starting to love it and trying to be part of it. Since she is princess of hell she has had more access to Earth information easier. She was very curious when younger.

(Btw I know emo and goth is not the same, I am a baby goth/baby bat myself. I am just not sure what Charlie really was into, but she gives me vibes from both aesthetic so I included both lol)

Resist death, resist the silence which is oblivion, a darkened river with scraps of pomegranates and oranges. When I savored the morning star, how could I bear resistance when the light expands and it goes dark?
