If Ryland doesn't break the fourth wall in the movie, then honestly, what's the point?

A lot of his humor is shared through his narration and thoughts, so we would lose a lot of that without some narration or fourth-wall breaks.

Plus, he likes to explain science which is fun for nerdy me, and that would be lost without narration too. True, we've got the book for that, but still.

Also, some times the way I talk comes off accidentally as flirty, and that’s a whole nother issues. Yay autism.
