The acceptability of sharing meals with other people is not something that is usually common, sharing meals with another breeds connectivity of emotions, it brings souls together and live out the moment through the meals shared. Meals with family, friends and dinner parties spike some moments of clarity, on a shared relationship. Amongst all holiday’s meals are so special, especially Christmas season that breeds insights where the ambience aid the need to connect and share emotions through meals. It might be common as sharing meals at workplace, but what led to sharing meals and the situation after, makes the difference there are so pivotal in connecting emotions that come with feasting together.
You can run into someone in a camp, or another place where people are gathered for a common purpose, and the situation demands that people share meals together, which is normal. But when you find yourself consistently sharing meals with this particular person, It changes from just sharing meals, it joins emotions together and the feasting becomes special which transcend beyond the physical outlook to connect emotions. People connect differently but the staggering factor is how they interpret this emotions through soul connections, it is how the message is received and reciprocated that brings it to live, it is thought-process that requires end product to come alive and that’s all about emotional connection.
Sharing meals breed conversations that ignite that moment, it is not only depends on the meals shared at moment, the conversation will come with your favourite meals, snacks and what type of meal you would like to share together next time, and that’s how beautiful it can get. You can only share meals consistently with someone you have developed affection for, food is something that control inner part of people’s lives, that they guide it very well with all jealousy, but when they are open to share meals, they also open their hearts to connect emotionally, it is powerful way of connection, it weakens the physical strength and make way for emotional wellbeing that thrive off the circumstances.
It brings joy where the atmosphere is set to for such emotional connection, they are ever happy to share meals with another, even when it is kind gesture, distribution of foods to homeless and less privileged, their situation can become touching that you emotionally submit to their situation, putting yourself in their shoes for you to be able to understand the moment and help them to see the bigger picture. Sharing meals is an act of love, it is humane and leave mark wherever it is planted.

Aida Sanchez, Patternmaking Technology ’96
“My gratitude is endless to all the professors and to the whole institution which supported me and guided me step by step during my student life. After finishing Patternmaking, I wanted immediately to continue studying ... but I was so lucky that I got an offer to work at Oscar de la Renta ... The rest is history!”

“I stumbled across what appears to be a student made calendar with art featuring student-drawn Darrow vignettes. Looks like maybe 1973-1975.”

Throwback Days
Throwback Days
I also went through a phase of dying my hair burgundy. It was less detrimental to my hair as I hadn't bleached my hair beforehand, and I thought the color was cool. ^^

In recent conversations with Pete’s classmate, Jerry Cann ‘49, Jerry referred to Pete in the warmest of lights and remembers catching up with Pete at their 50th reunion, just before his fatal motorcycle accident. Pete is honored yearly through the awarding of the “Pete Conrad Community Award” to a student who, in the opinion of the faculty, has greatly contributed to the social, extracurricular, and residential life of the school through effective participation, leadership, and enthusiasm.
