Here's my shot for Schaffrillas' K. Rool Reanimate.

Made a physical head (well the top part anyway) for this one, did the rest 2d digital. Still working on a making-of video.

He's made of cardboard, paper, string, glue, and cotton balls.

Since King K. Rool is a Kremling, which is a kind of crocodile, it likely means his species give birth through laying eggs. With this in mind, it means he wouldn’t have a belly button.

But we can clearly see he does

Why?

Well

What do his belly and pecs have the exact same texture and colour as? His crown and cuffs. This likely means he is wearing armour.

But why would he wear armour built for a mammal?

Because it is a trophy he took from a Kong he killed, or that was passed down through his family after an ancestor killed a Kong
