I own Shadows of Valentina, but I never finished it. Still, I was bored. So I decided to use the character sorter, just to see how the rankings for this game turned out. And honestly? I think these turned out pretty accurately. I'll discuss more down below, but yeah. This is pretty accurate.

Kliff being my favourite was always a given. That bookish young mage type really appealed to me. So yeah, it makes sense he scored the top spot. And having Berkut and Fernand near the top also makes sense. That game had shockingly compelling antagonists. Or at least some very well designed antagonists. And finally, Mycen and Nomah being in my top however many makes sense too. An old warrior and an old wizard? I'm a sucker for old mentor characters; it was only a given that i'd love those two. So yeah. Everything on these lists just kinda makes sense.

hey im trying to make a song sorter and its not letting me but i see you made some recently... is there anything you changed in the code to make it work?

I actually answered another ask about this recently!

There's nothing in the code you need to change, the issue is that a while back Tumblr disabled JavaScript by default, so now you need to submit a support ticket to get it enabled. The sorter code uses some JavaScript, so it won't work unless you do that. Here's a link to the other ask I answered about this with more info.

Hello, all!

I don’t know how widely popular these were, but a while ago people used to make “favorite character sorters” for various media they liked. These were websites where each character from the aforementioned media would be pit against each other in a 1v1 “battle” and you would pick your favorite between the two until you finally had a ranked list of every character, from your favorite to least favorite.

So… I made one of those, but for every movie from this blog that’s received a majority “yes” vote! You can access it by clicking here. Below is a screenshot of what it looks like:

It can take a little while to complete due to the number of movies on it, but I think it’s fun if you’re into this kinda thing :) I also think this could be used as inspiration for more versus polls on this blog, so, if you find any interesting match-ups while doing this, feel free to post them and tag them with “#hystmp sorter” and I might make your match-up into a poll for this blog!

Taylor Swift Song Sorter Night!

rules and general info: instead of doing 11 different album sorters i thought it would be fun to do the taylor swift album sorter first and then based on your results only do the song sorters for the albums that come in first and last. (please don’t be too mean to my babygirl debut 😔 i know she’s going to be catching strays so i apologize to any debut fans in advance.) this is supposed to be fun so don’t stress too much! please be respectful of other people’s results (but light hearted teasing between friends is allowed of course).

Getting rid of sex toys usually is a landfill situation. Theres reddit threads to rehouse toys but if they’re not body safe it’s better not to pass it along to someone else.

hello!! i know this is random and i'm rly sorry for it but i came across your post of your list of song sorters and i'm currently trying to create my own using the same html code from biasorter, but it won't let me save, it just gave me a warning that there's either invalid html or trying to use javascript ᴖ̈ i just wanted to ask if that happened to u when making yours and how u worked through it, if possible?? it's okay if not ◡̈ i just don't know what to do lol sorry to bother!

Hello! Not a bother at all, no need to apologize!

I think the issue you're running into is because last year, Tumblr decided to disable the ability to use JavaScript on blog pages by default. I believe anything done before that still works, but changes to old code or anything new won't work unless you submit a support request about it.

When you submit a support request, you will need to share the code with them, but since you already have the code figured out that should be easy. This post seems to do a good job of explaining exactly what you need to do for contacting support about it.

Hopefully this solves the problem for you! But if you run into any more issues I'm happy to answer more questions.

And also just a friendly reminder to make sure you don't delete the credit for the original developer of the code! (Not that I think you specifically would, but I know some people do and may not realize it's a problem, so just trying to make sure they get proper credit for some very useful code)
