I didn't forget, it just took me a while to figure out what I wanted to say.

The demon is officially a year old, and I have been blessed (cursed) to watch his journey from birth. He smiles like his mama and he annoys me like his predecessor so clearly he's got the best of both worlds. I've never had a goofier, smarter, more mischievous dog. He challenges everything I know about dog training every day, and he learns lightning quick in leaps and bounds. I swore I'd take my time with him and not rush but he zooms through just about everything I throw at him. He's clear-headed and social without an ounce of reactivity but lights up just fine on the field, he's never encountered a challenge he couldn't face head-on, and he's just a really, really cool dog.

To my special loudmouth who can't settle in the house without his EDM playlist going, who loves to harass the chihuahuas and come up with new and interesting ways specifically tailored to annoy me, who has learned how to open every single door he's come across and then some, who has decided much like his mother that gravity does not apply to him and thus tall structures are nbd...

To his breeder who I chanced a friendship with in the bowels of fandom-based social media and reconnected with in person years later. Who has seen the good the bad and the ugly of me and still remained a light in my life. Who inspires me every single day to be better than I was yesterday.

To his mother, the spicy creature I got to watch grow up all these years, making their breeder's dreams come true every step of the way. It takes two to tango, his sire is also out there kicking ass in just about everything he does too.

You guys!!! We made it to 500 followers! You’re a little firecracker and it is such a contrast to his own personality. He’s a lot more tame than what he used to be

It’s really funny when you two go out to eat together and you always flag down the waiter to inform them that he didn’t want olives on his plate. He thinks it’s cute

You chide him a lot on his steroid usage but you know your complaints fall on deaf ears. It’s the only thing he isn’t willing to change about himself. At least not until he defeats his father. Not to mention what will happen once he stops using them? Will his body crumple?

You nag at him to make sure he eats enough and gets enough rest. It’s like a chihuahua barking at a Great Dane. He tries to have healthier habits but he does find himself falling back into old habits fast

He is your big scary dog so if someone starts something with you, they start something with him. He would leap to your side in an instant if someone tried to swing at you. Jack would do anything to protect you. You’ve become such an important person to him

You playfully bite him sometimes like a little gremlin but he tolerates it. It’s not like your teeth are strong enough to pierce his skin anyways

The way sheep get so flustered, scared, it makes my blood hot.

I love seeing them spooked at my attention, I talk as if it's normal for a demonic force like myself to chat idly with them. They all react differently. But the same in many ways.

Aggressive, boring but fun. It's spicy, they're fiesty like a chihuahua and just as meek. I must be pretty spooky. Makes me want to tame them, or win them over, either way very exciting.

Confused, a personal favorite as I'm am indulger of beffudlement, because it's that sick little curiosity that gets the gears moving and that mixed feeling behind their eyes to settle in.

Ah so lovley, cute as can be, I adore the flock and interacting amongst them. Allow my presence to corrupt you darling, let loose, live a little baby.
