❥ 4 MAY 2025 | The Prince of Wales has released a personal statement paying a heartfelt tribute to Sir David Attenborough ahead of his 99th birthday on 8th May.

Speaking to The Mail, Prince William said :

'May we all raise a glass to a true giant – and continue the mission he has led with such grace and urgency.

We celebrate not just a milestone of years, but a lifetime of extraordinary service to our planet. Through his boundless curiosity, gentle wisdom and unwavering commitment... he has brought the wonders of Earth into our homes and into our hearts.

Regarding the official press release from Attorney General Pam Bondi on seeking the death penalty:

"By seeking to murder Luigi Mangione, the Justice Department has moved from the dysfunctional to the barbaric. Their decision to execute Luigi is political and goes against the recommendation of the local federal prosecutors, the law, and historical precedent. While claiming to protect against murder, the federal government moves to commit the pre-meditated, state-sponsored murder of Luigi. By doing this, they are defending the broken, immoral, and murderous healthcare industry that continues to terrorize the American people. We are prepared to fight these federal charges, brought by a lawless Justice Department, as well as the New York State charges, and the Pennsylvania charges, and anything else they want to pile on Luigi. This is a corrupt web of government dysfunction and one-upmanship. Luigi is caught in a high-stakes game of tug-of-war between state and federal prosecutors, except the trophy is a young man's life."

Supernatural has had many bizarre episodes over its run, though few were as weird as Scoobynatural. In this episode, Sam, Dean, and Castiel cross over into the Scooby-Doo universe and have to live out the episode "Haunted House Hang-up." In addition to using actual Scooby-Doo writers and animators, the episode also included the show's voice actors such as Matthew Lillard (of the live action movie fame) and Kate Micucci. One Scooby-Doo writer, Jeremy Adams, even permanently joined the Supernatural writing team in season 14!

We need to kill the idea that you can’t both be a “real” alterhuman and have fun. You don’t have to take yourself super seriously 100% of the time to be who you say you are. Experiencing joy and laughter and whimsy is a good thing, and it’s actually far healthier to seek those over community validation through performing the “correct” amount of stoicism and misery.

The Princess of Wales has released a personal statement confirming she is in remission and that she is adjusting to a ‘new normal’ but looks forward to a fulfilling year ahead.

I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.

My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.

We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.

In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is, that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer.

It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
