❥ 20 JUNE 2025 | The Princess of Wales has released a personal message marking Children's Hospice Week, celebrating the life-changing work children’s hospices do and thanking them for the vital care they provide to children and families.

She is the Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice.

The message says :

“No parent expects to hear that their child has a serious health condition that could shorten their life. Sadly, this is the reality faced by thousands of families across the country, leaving them heart-broken, fearful of the future and often desperately isolated.

Being able to access the support of one of the UK’s 54 children’s hospices means they don’t have to face that future alone.

As Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice in South Wales, I have the immense privilege of seeing for myself the extraordinary work of our children’s hospices.

Lifting spirits through laughter, fun and play, as well as listening, holding, caring and sharing, they support children and families through life, death and beyond.

This Children’s Hospice Week, I hope you will join me in celebrating the life-changing work they do and thanking them for the vital care they provide to children and families experiencing the most challenging times."

Supernatural has had many bizarre episodes over its run, though few were as weird as Scoobynatural. In this episode, Sam, Dean, and Castiel cross over into the Scooby-Doo universe and have to live out the episode "Haunted House Hang-up." In addition to using actual Scooby-Doo writers and animators, the episode also included the show's voice actors such as Matthew Lillard (of the live action movie fame) and Kate Micucci. One Scooby-Doo writer, Jeremy Adams, even permanently joined the Supernatural writing team in season 14!

❥ 20 JUNE 2025 | The Prince of Wales has released a personal message wishing the British and Irish Lions as they kick off their 2025 tour against Argentina in Dublin, Ireland.

The Prince of Wales is the Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union.

The statement released via the Kensington Palace socials says :

Good luck to Andy and the whole @britishandirishlions squad as they kick off the 2025 Tour tonight against Argentina in Dublin. Lions Tours are always special - the history books await!

We need to kill the idea that you can’t both be a “real” alterhuman and have fun. You don’t have to take yourself super seriously 100% of the time to be who you say you are. Experiencing joy and laughter and whimsy is a good thing, and it’s actually far healthier to seek those over community validation through performing the “correct” amount of stoicism and misery.
