Lush fruits, roasting meats, even the most sensual of incense fill his halls tonight. Tonight’s guests are particularly choice prey, nobility eager to ensure their power and desperate for sm heir to continue their line. A familiar tale, even in your short tenure as Devil’s plaything, you’ve seen more virtuous beings part with their souls for far less.

The music grows louder as you enter the room, and instantly his sharp brown eyes lock on your figure. Your breath catches to see him, those prongs of his crown nestle so neatly in his dark hair. A wave of his expressive arm, and he dismisses you to serve the company. Dulcet and engrossing in tone, Raphael waxes on about the vintage you pour, a simple annecdote to fill the silence and keep the mortals from wondering just what they consume in the house of a Devil.

You stop beside the most regal guest… a king, you think, given the crown and jeweled rings on his hand. “My, my, Archdevil. You lay out a variable feast for our consumption, and yet you save the main course until now…” Oh, that king’s voice is sweeter than jelly candy and smoother than silks from Comyr. His ice blue eyes reel you in, a strange swirl of colors you stare into to discern the exact shade. He taps a jeweled finger on the rim of his empty cup. “Come, come wench, don’t leave me waiting…”

“Wench?” Raphael’s stirling tones ring with command… and a hint of annoyance, you recognize. “Hardly,” he chuckles, “she is my most prized of trophies save the metal atop my own regal crown.”

As you pour the fragrant wine, you feel a tug at the thin fabric of your skirt, just enough to catch your attention and distract you. You stare at the king with wide eyes, a parted mouth. And you spill the wine, red liquid sloshing over table cloth and onto the royal lap of Rapheal’s client.

He hisses in anger, snatching fingers claw around your wrist. “Careful, whore.” The words enrage you, insult you. But that’s not what sets your heart thumping.

It’s the glare you feel from Raphael’s seat, the seer of his anger and disapproval. “Oh, little mouse. How clumsy…” Words meant to dismiss the mistake only cement the rush of fear… you turn to force yourself to meet his gaze of judgment, even as the guest fumes about the mess continually.

“Is this how you treat with nobility, Devil? Soil their trousers?” The king scoffs, grabbing a napkin and waving it in your face. “Clean it, wench.”

A silence falls on the room, even the musicians stop. But you can hear a ragged breath, almost whistling in your ear. Raphael leans against the back of his chair. “I suppose, if my little mouse has made such a mistake, she will have to atone for it…”

He gives you a nod, but only you know how irate he is, how desperately close he is to losing that precious control. His eyes hone in on your hand as you grab the white linen and rub it on the king’s thigh.

“Harder, mouse,” the king purloins your pet name, “don’t miss a spot.” He chuckles as you have to press over his crotch, as you must inadvertently tease on the outline of his cock through the damp trousers.

He glances once more over his shoulder to see the king throw back the rest of his wine in one swig, quill in his hand as he dashes a frilled and curly signature on the contract. Then, Raphael leads you into his entry hall, the whispers of souls far more tortured than you tickle your ear.

He leads you to the massive expanse of glass on the opposite wall, the view of the hells just on the other side. He draws you to a stop, standing stock still beside you, hand still vice-gripped into your arm. “What do you see, my dear?” he whispers, a flourishing wave of his hand.

“Avernus,” you reply. Easy.

That infernal strength floods his body, his deceptively human body. Fingers close around your chin, his body spinning you by your jaw, shoving your scantily clad body against the thickly paned glass. “Wong, little mouse,” he chuckles, slow and staccato. He lifts his crowned head, those deep-set eyes roaming over your exposed flesh with unabashed hunger and possessiveness, just as his silver tongue had said. “You are my treasure,” he growls, “and every inch of you is mine, inside and out, body and heart and soul.” Palms cup your face. “That king dared insult you, dared to command you, to touch my treasure…”

A shriek pierces the din from the dining hall, a death rattle of agony, a cry of grief. And another shining green soul flies past you to join Raphael’s powerful collection in his House.

A single brow raises as reality dawns on you… Raphael’s rolling laughter caresses your ear even as his lips kiss your neck. “If only that king had reread his contract before signing. I saw it fit to add a few addendums… just because he touched what was mine, that contemptuous creature. His soul is mine, effective immediately. Dorothy Campbell Hurd Howe was born on March 24th 1883.

Born as Dorothy Lee Campbell at North Berwick, she spent her childhood on the town’s famous links, where her paternal grandfather and eight uncles all played. Dorothy is said to have taken her first swing when she was 18 months, and by age five, was playing matches against her older sisters.

Campbell did not evolve into a top player until her later teens, when she changed what had been a half swing into a full one. In 1905, Campbell won her first Scottish Ladies title. Played at the North Berwick links, more than 4,000 people watched her win the final on the 19th hole.

She repeated in 1906 and 1908. The next year she entered the U.S. Women’s Amateur for the first time and won at the Merion Cricket Club. When she returned to achieve her first victory in the British Women’s Amateur Championship at Royal Birkdale, it was an unprecedented double.

Her favorite club was a goose-necked mashie she called “Thomas.” It was “Thomas” that she gave credit to for her American-British double for in the semifinal at Birkdale she used the club to hole out from a dead stymie at a crucial point in the match. In the final of the 1921 North and South championship at Pinehurst, “Thomas” holed two shots.

She changed her swing from a stiff-wristed, sweeping-type motion that produced a straight but short left-to-right shot to a more athletic action in which hand action played an important part. Working with George Sayers, the pro at Merion who was also from North Berwick, she forced herself to switch from the baseball to the Vardon grip. After 10 months of work, Hurd was literally a new player.

At the 1924 U.S. Amateur at Rhode Island C.C., she rolled through the field, ultimately defeating Mary K. Browne, the national lawn tennis champion of 1912 and 1913, 7 and 6, in the final.

Although it was Hurd’s last championship, she was far from finished as a golfer. In 1926, she set out to surpass the record for fewest putts in 18 holes, 21, which had been set by Walter J. Travis. At the Augusta C.C., Hurd came to the 18th hole with 19 putts, when she holed out from off the green using “Thomas,” her famous mashie.

She married Jack V. Hurd in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada on February 11, 1913. Jack V. Hurd was a steel magnate living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a member of Oakmont Country Club. She won many of her titles as Mrs. J. V. Hurd, but she and Hurd were divorced in 1923.

She died in a railway accident on March 20, 1945, falling off a platform and into the path of an oncoming train. Her death certificate shows her full name to be Dorothy Lee Howe. The principal causes of death were a skull fracture and avulsion of her right arm.

This list is in no particular order just the ones that came to my head as I went and the ones I had in my gif hunt tag, some of these may be the rpc definition of dark skin which is anyone darker than Michael B. The McLaren star has had a shocking run since moving from Renault in 2021 and there are indications he could be forced out of F1 at the season's end. Ricciardo was spotted with the initials 'F.E.A' written on the rear of his helmet in Saturday's qualifying session at the famous track. Daniel Ricciardo's helmet was marked with the initials 'F.E.A' for Saturday's qualifying race, with fans speculating it stands for 'f**k 'em all' Some fans believe the acronym stands for 'f*** em all', a phrase that could be aimed at Ricciardo's critics and possibly even McLaren. Earlier in the week, team boss Zak Brown said he was 'disappointed' in Ricciardo's form with the team since his 2021 Italian Grand Prix victory. 'We obviously would like to see Daniel much closer to Lando and have a good inter-team battle,' the McLaren CEO told Sky Sports. 'Daniel is just not comfortable yet with the car. We are trying everything we can, again it was a disappointing weekend.' Ricciardo has finished in the top 10 just once this season and has been outscored by teammate Lando Norris in all but two races so far. The eight-time F1 winner said he struggled to find rhythm in the McLaren throughout practice and qualifying in Monaco. The 32-year-old only managed to complete two laps in practice two on Friday, as he lost control around a corner and damaged his front wing after crashing into the barrier. Dorothy Campbell Hurd Howe was born on March 24th 1883 at North Berwick.

Born as Dorothy Lee Campbell, Dorothy was the first woman to dominate the international female golf, between 1905 and 1912, she won 10 national championships in Scotland, America, Canada and England. Then, 12 years later, she won the American title once more.

As Dorothy Campbell, and later as Mrs. J.V. Hurd, her count of national amateurs was three Scottish, three U.S., two British and three Canadian. In 1909, she became the first woman to win the U.S. and British Amateurs in the same year.

Dorothy grew up with the town’s famous links, where her paternal grandfather and eight uncles all played, as her playground. She took her first swing when she was 18 months, and by age five, was playing matches against her older sisters.

Campbell did not evolve into a top player until her later teens, when she changed what had been a half swing into a full one. In 1905 she won her first Scottish Ladies title, played at the North Berwick links, more than 4,000 people watched her win the final on the 19th hole. She repeated in 1906 and 1908. The next year she entered the U.S. Women’s Amateur for the first time and won at the Merion Cricket Club. When she returned to achieve her first victory in the British Women’s Amateur Championship at Royal Birkdale, it was an unprecedented double.

In 1910, Campbell moved to Canada and won the country’s championship three consecutive years before moving to the United States permanently in 1913. When she won the American title again in 1924, she was 41 years old. She remains the championship’s oldest winner, and her 15-year span between victories is also the longest in the event’s history.

Hurd advanced women’s golf in America by being the first to aim directly at the pin on her approaches instead of just the general vicinity of the green. She had a tremendous short game, which she once said, “is almost second nature to me.” A deadly putter, she was even better from just off the green. Her favourite club was a goose-necked mashie she called “Thomas.” It was “Thomas” that she gave credit to for her American-British double at Birkdale she used the club to hole out at a crucial point in the match. In the final of the 1921 North and South championship at Pinehurst, “Thomas” holed two shots.

After her flurry of national titles, Campbell married and her golf career hit a fallow period. When she lost the final of the 1920 U.S. Amateur to Alexa Stirling, it appeared to be her last hurrah. But in 1923, seeing that many women were out-driving her by using a more modern technique, she concluded that her game needed updating. She changed her swing returning to winning ways at the 1924 U.S. Amateur at Rhode Island C.C., she rolled through the field, ultimately defeating Mary K. Browne, the national lawn tennis champion of 1912 and 1913, 7 and 6, in the final.

She married Jack V. Hurd in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada on 11 February 1913. Hurd was a steel magnate living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She won many of her titles as Mrs. J. V. Hurd, but she and Hurd were divorced in 1923. Dorothy married Edward Howe in 1937 and divorced again in 1943.

Her life ended tragically in a railway accident on March 20, 1945, falling off a platform and into the path of an oncoming train.

She was inducted to the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1978.
