I’m working with kids this summer and I’m not too sure what to wear day to day. We’re told to wear more leisure and athletic clothing, and I also love wearing sweats (we will be in the heat as well and have swim time, not sure if that helps) do a lot of moving around.

How do I still look classy and chic without looking too serious or trying to hard while wearing leisure and athletic attire?

Hi love! I would suggest some of the following outfit ideas:

Linen shirt (short sleeve or tank top) with matching linen shorts or bike shorts (wear the latter with an oversized boxy tee or linen polo like this one!)

A polo tank or tee shirt with sweat shorts like this top paired with these shorts

A tennis dress with built-in shorts

Loose-fitting linen or cotton romper (doubles as a cover-up!)

Pared-back athletic shorts or a tennis skirt with cap sleeves, interesting strap details, or a fun neckline (like a polo neck or sweetheart neckline)

Have a bathing suit available to wear that doubles as a bodysuit (L'space does a lot of great minimalist ones!) that you can wear under a tennis skort for days you won't need to be in the water/can tan instead
