Aaron and Katelyn complained but it was easy to ignore them. He had a week before practice started up but he didn't bother unpacking anything other than his clothes, if only so that they wouldn't have creases. He was as unpacked as he needed to be, as unpacked as he'd been in Chicago.

Honestly, he still doesn't get why he choose to have a job that rendered him nomadic. Maybe he'd been wistful for the foster homes by the end of his time being stuck in one place for five years at Palmetto.

I’m so ready for first kiss pt. 10

Thank you for believing in me I swear I'm working on this!! It's TOUGH STUFF rn!! Writing has def taken a bit of a backseat since the winter (if you follow me closely, you'll notice I've shifted from dropping massive 15-30 pages stories to quick one shots since around Jan). Despite this lil change in my posting, my heart truly belongs to unhinged long form storytelling. I still don't have a launch date for Part 10 (annoying, I know), but I am chipping away at the update a little each week and the new chapter will be worth the wait!! Current draft is 35 pages but might need to rework it. Ojiro randomly got a sex scene and idk if I wanna keep that in the final draft because it's just kinda there to be silly. Like...in my mind Ojiro is not really part of the main cast but might throw him a bone and let him get off in the story. The main cast as it currently stands: The Reader, Shoto (obviously!!!), Mina Ashido, Toru Hagakure, Neito Monoma, Hitoshi Shinsou, maybe eventually Eijirou Kirishima? Izuku will make regular appearances because he's legit the only modeling for good friendship that Shoto has rn. Ojiro is kind of on the outskirts of the story because Toru (part of the OG BFF crew) likes him. Lol so TBD on Ojiro's lil scene...I'm trying to keep the chappie tight while also trying to have fun and not be too precious with the chapter - I know y'all are waiting!!

Also I'm toying with the idea of switching up my lore for Shoto's a lil bit and make UA college level. Like legit nothing in the story would change but they'd all be freshman in college and aged up a few years. I didn't realize I could do something like this until I read Soulmate Trope by @dashielldeveron and they did this SO well!!

August 2024 Plans!

Hello again, and I am sorry to tell most of you, I am still only obsessed with Voltron. That being said, here are my plans for Keith for this month.

General Goals:

Newly published word count: 5,071/10,000

Have total VLD published WC surpass Spider-Man: 48,364/100,258 (I'm not calling this a failed goal! I never planned to publish 50k+ in a single month, to be clear. This is a long-term goal that I'm hoping to hit in 2025.)

Test new weekly writing schedule: my choice of any three weekdays from 6pm to 9pm and any one weekend day from waking up to going to bed (with short breaks as needed). Possible exceptions on the weekend hours during any pre-planned social events because I'm too good at isolating myself already. Schedule TBD during work travel but will be much less for those times unless I can get comfy writing in-flight lmao.

Bonus uncontrollable achievement for funsies: 250k total hits on AO3 (starting the month around 244k)

“Minyard, you don’t need to do that. I’ll just sit in the waiting area until Smith comes back.” Josten insists at the same time.

“Show me somewhere good for lunch around here.” He says. Andrew figures that he can drag Josten to lunch and start to get some information out of him. If it means that he’ll also be avoiding being home for a few more hours so that Katelyn and Aaron don’t trap him into another conversation then that’s just a bonus.

Frozen Ashes master list (Calendula Chronicles, Book 3)

The stakes have never been higher for Marigold, but she may not be fast enough to save everyone.

Regarding Frozen Ashes and The Antarctica Incident (Q_Alias)

Frozen Ashes was written as the other side of Q_Alias' The Antarctica Incident. Marigold actively enters that story around chapter 23 27 (5-1 in their narrative), and moves out of it as an active participant at some point after chapter 30 35? (6-5 in their story) eventually. However, she's very active in the background of Q's narrative. We started to soft-merge our respective plots back in October 2022 plots, rather than a strict collaboration (like 1981).
