Anon, you have no idea how much this is exactly the kind of idea I want to draw!! Comparisons of parallels between the shows even if they're not identical is one of my favorite kinds of posts to make here. It actually inspired me to sketch out an 8 page idea, which is gonna take me FOREVER to turn into final drawings- so for now, I would like to share with you my sketches. They're partially inked for clarity - inked stuff is just the concepts I thought were really solid (mostly), and the pencil bits I feel I need to rework (like composition wise). I also did not use references for anything here. In any case! Here is my idea!

But that was not what he had set out to do. It would not be worth while to leave his master for that. It would not bring him back. Nothing would.

hey i wonder if the reason future mikey looks so old is bc he IS actually super old by that point. leo seemed to already be aware of mikey’s time portal abilities, so had mikey done similar stuff before? had he been sending himself back in time in small increments to save people? a few minutes’ foresight could be the difference between life and death. how many times would mikey have had to turn back the clock so he now looks 30 years older than leo? how many times has he watched his family die while he escaped to save them again?

i haven’t actually seen what misha collins said recently i’ve just seen people talk about it BUT the thing about destiel and intentionality is. i have always said there is a clear difference between how they are written in like seasons 4 and 5 (they’re just Like That, maybe jeremy carver made them a little gay on purpose sometimes but we can’t be sure) and the very much on purpose Queerbait TM that’s happening in season 6 and on.

and then there’s another turn, i forget exactly where because it’s been a long time since i did a full watch, but when you get to the later seasons and steve yockey shows up and stuff there is a distinctly different feeling approach where it’s like. oh they are being written like that on purpose sometimes but in a way that feels much more earnest and not like it’s meant to make fun of you for reading into it or hit you over the head with a line that’s designed to go viral on tumblr.
