I know that Valere and Zale aren't that jacked, but it's still fun to imagine. I don't think I do chubby guys nearly enough, so I'm glad that Garl turned out alright.

Reporter: We're back at Victory Gym, but not for sports. It's time for the Victory Charity Benefit! All of our athletes and supporting sims are coming together to celebrate a great competition.

Reporter: HM Queen Diana joins HRH Prince Gerhard to celebrate her husband's big achievement! The couple stun in matching victory blue themed outfits. This marks the last big event the couple will host or attend leading up to the Queen's maternity leave.

Reporter: Gerhard also poses with our competition winners who will all be recieving checks to their charities for coming in first place. The winners include HRH Princess Biyu of Shinchaku, Sergeant Dylan Labatt, HRH Duke Beckett of Parkshore, and HRH Prince Oliver! Now, let the party begin!

Thank you everyone for reading the Alter Earth finale. 🎉 I've been going through some writer's block between both the early storylines such as this arc and late sagas that I'm working ahead on to post more regularly when we get there, so your support is very appreciated.

I hope to pick up the pace a little more on early storylines, even if I am still taking a break from the Shadow-based arcs until the new game comes out. My hope is to finish the Seven Rings rewrite soon so we can continue on with a certain BEAST of a saga (guys I checked, there are ZERO MB chapters I could post now without spoiling the end of Seven Rings and I'm big sad 😭) while I keep working ahead on a certain misadventure featuring the sassiest of british characters (wink wink). As for Metarex, I'm taking my time so that I don't miss any details. Certain elements are giving me trouble and I want to make sure I don't create any major plot holes when I implement them. So sorry about the wait there, but the good news is that the final chapters are already crafted and ready to go when it's time.

I hope you all enjoy what else Alter Chaos has in store! I can't wait to share more adventures! ♡

@inflame 🌲 she hears some of the others still whispering behind her,   and she does her best to tune it out,   but she's desperate to know if they're starting to second-guess their decision to follow taissa.   if she had it her way,   there's a list of people she would have chosen to come with her—    but it's a risky mission,   and she's not naive enough to believe it's going to be easy,  or even that they're going to make it anywhere.   she had to believe that if people were willing to take those risks,  they'd choose to come on their own.   she's grateful for those who chose to trust  her,   and she's tried to do everything she can to be the leader they need her to be,   but she doesn't know how to do that when they start questioning the elements out here that they can't control.   lottie's never actually done anything wrong,  and yet tai's resentment grows every time she hears her name.  'lottie's dream'  is not something they can rely on,  and worse,  believing in that means believing they have no real control out here,  and tai can't accept that.   she needs these people to trust her,  needs them to believe in her own instincts,  her survival skills,  her drive—   but she's not exactly helping matters when she's quick to shut their fears down.   though,  that's less about resenting them and more about her own fears she's desperate to bury.

she slows down just barely,  enough to walk shoulder to shoulder with laura,   her eyes just barely looking back at the others,  who aren't actually talking about their growing distrust with taissa the way she's convinced herself they are.   looking back to laura,   she tries to figure her out,  but she doesn't want to ask directly whether or not she actually believes they're walking into their own doom just because of the discolored water and a faulty compass.   she just needs some kind of sign.   ❝  you okay?  ❞    she asks,   but when her eyes meet hers,   she feels her shoulders slump,  that look of determination and pride that she's been wearing since they left the cabin starting to falter.   maybe laura,  of all these people,  might actually be willing to give her a real answer.    ❝   you don't think we should've turned around.   right?  ❞    she phrases it that way intentionally,   some warning behind her words begging her to be on her side—   even if she genuinely does want an honest answer.
