D.Gray Man 20 years anniversary
That's right, next 31 May 2024, D.Gray man will be 20 years old. As a celebration, I would like to do a fandom project : a redraw of the first chapter. Which mean, many artists coming together, drawing each a page of the first chapter in their own style.
The first chapter is about 55 pages long, that's a lot, so here's an interest check to see if the project would be possible !
Some things you may want to know if there is enough interest to begin the project :
This project would be free to download once finished, we're not going to sell anything from this, it will be just for fun, a tribute to the manga.
Discord will be needed to talk with each others as it's a big project
You can do whatever you want with your pages as soon as the story/dialogue are respected and the end picture is of good quality (if you do traditional). B&W, colour, scrap booking, painting, traditional... go wild!
You'll be free to choose 3 pages you would like to draw, hopefully this way, everyone will be able to do one page they want!
If we have (shockingly) way more than 50 artists interested in participating, we'll do the whole first tome!
Old fan, new fan, seasoned artists or determined beginner, everyone's welcome !
This idea came from the @conanredraw go see it if you want a better idea of the project ! The whole result isn't out yet, but it'll be soon.
Please consider rebloging it so more D.Gray Man fan can see it! If you can share it on Twitter/X, it would be incredibly helpful, as I do not know the fandom there at all ^^' Have a good day :)

For anime/manga : Buddy Daddies, Link Click, Mob Psycho 100, and Jujutsu Kaisen.
Thanks 🌻
Hello! Sure, let's do this! I'll answer this here instead of reblogging the post so i can answer you directly :)
Sorry for the late reply, I forgot this in my drafts 😅
Ask Game idea from @threecheersforinking
Buddy Daddies
Favorite Character: Rei :3
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: Episode 8 is my favorite and i love the scene from ep 6 where Kazuki says Miri has their genes, it's hilarious
Character I Think is Underrated: Miri i think, mostly because of the criticism about her character
Character I Think is Overrated: probably Rei, but nah is properly rated
Favorite Ship/Pairing: Kazurei (obviously!)
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: I love how real this anime was despite the whole assassin side story lmao
Link Click
Favorite Character: Cheng Xiaoshi but Lu Guang is really close
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: I really liked the earthquake arc even tho it was sad af and I liked the noodles episode, it was really cute
Character I Think is Underrated: maybe Xiao Ling
Character I Think is Overrated: no one
Favorite Ship/Pairing: Shiguang
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: The animation and the plot, season 2 was amazing in terms of plot development👌🏾
Mob Psycho 100
Favorite Character: Kageyama Shigeo aka Mob
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: the arc with the scar organization in S1 is my favorite and also the arc at the beginning of season 2 (can't remember the names of these arcs lol)
Character I Think is Underrated: hmm idk maybe Tome
Character I Think is Overrated: Rengen. Don't get me wrong he's great, I really like him, but I don't really get the fans going crazy over him tbh
Favorite Ship/Pairing: I don't really ship but Terumob would be cute
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: the development of the protagonist is top notch!
Jujutsu Kaisen
Favorite Character: Megumi
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: I like the arc in season 1 with Junpei and I really like the scene when Megumi fights Sukuna to bring Yuji back, but there are many scenes I liked in season 2, it was just too sad as a whole
Character I Think is Underrated: Inumaki I'd say idk (but I'm not a manga reader so it's just my perspective as an anime watcher)
Character I Think is Overrated: I love him but definitely Gojo
Favorite Ship/Pairing: Itafushi 🥺 and Nobamaki
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: I love the characters and their relationships, how it's not only action but there's a lot of humanity to it too!

Story asks: for both mp100 and Jojo, 1, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 19, 22
YAY okay I love these asks but I'm going to split the post in half because that's a lot of writing (thank you, you Get It). mob psycho 100 first:
1: what got you into this story?
clicking on a fifteen minute YouTube video essay titled "The Philosophy of Mob Psycho 100: The Sublime" or something like that. It explained mp100 through the end of episode 5. That was the first time I got into mp100. But I gave up on episode 5 that first time. I came back several years later because of this comic about what would have happened if Mogami kidnapped Mob at a young age and reading the mp100 fanfiction that inspired it, A Breach of Trust. Both times, I got into mp100 because of something a passionate and inspired fan made!
5: do you have a favorite character? who?
Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama himself :) and other than him, Ritsu, Musashi, and Dimple!
6: do you have a LEAST favorite character? who?
(sigh) well. if I must say it... Reigen. I care about him; he's interesting and I don't hate him. But honestly, I don't personally find him that funny, and that's the main draw of his character, is the comedy!
7: how does the story compare to your initial impressions of it? has it surprised you yet? how?
oh, it surprised me VERY much. it's..... the thing with Mob Psycho 100 is that it toes the line of almost being a parody of the shounen and paranormal genre, while also taking itself very seriously when you get right down to it. The premise is silly, but the emotional beats are incredibly raw. I thought mp100 was going to be... y'know... a silly slice-of-life story about a psychic kid's life as an exploited employee of a con man, and instead it hits me with things like "no one is special, and that means that everyone has the potential to change themselves bit by bit and do good in the world, including compulsive liars and severely repressed anxious teenagers". That kind of thing.
13: tell me an out-of-context piece of worldbuilding or lore!
alskdjfslkdf okay so in the 3rd and final season, a single mammoth broccoli plant appears in Seasoning City. It's called The Divine Tree. You will cry because of the broccoli. :)
14: how likely do you think this story is to break a reader's heart?
VERY LIKELY. you will be broken down and rebuilt. It will happen over and over again, starting with episode 5 of the anime or volume 2 of the manga. You will emerge stronger.
19: pitch an idea for a sequel or spinoff novel for this story!
okay this is a little bonkers but I want to see Tome and Mezato have an adventure together. And they should drag some protesting other, less insane person into it, too. I think a Tome and Mezato and Takenaka (and oooooh maybe Inukawa as a translator) story where they meet aliens would have some SERIOUS potential. It would be SO funny. IMAGINE. Takenaka playing the exasperated straight man to Tome and Mezato's zany nonsense, but not actually minding at all; he actually likes his life to be interesting and is studying them like bugs. Tome and Mezato feeling like they have to compete to fill the "most passionate person here" role, then discovering that both of them have felt insecure about their interests. Inukawa having PTSD flashbacks to the last time he interacted with aliens, the serious side of the story which is gonna need to be handled tactfully, and Tome, Mezato, and Takenaka are not tactful people, so it's gonna go wrong. IMAGINE. (vibrating with excitement)
22: FREE SPACE: say anything you want about the story!! <3
In lieu of saying something, I'm going to share screenshots, because the art style of the anime is one of my favorite things about mp100. :]

Shadow and bone s2 spoilery thoughts. Major spoilers for the changes from book-to-show.
For context I've read through the entire book series about twice.
Unsurprisingly, the actors were great. The sets, costumes, and creature design were awesome.
Choices on moving storylines were...interesting.
Didn't realize until part way into ep 2 that this season covered the last 2 books of the main trilogy, as well as some events in SoC.
Really emphasizes how long Mathias was in Hellgate, but also because he's now only interacted with 1 character from the main cast in 2 seasons, it feels weird and disconnected.
The script was...interesting, to say the least. They took Jesper's unaffected demeanor and made him so goofy, and 4th wall break-y, it wasn't funny (most horrendous line was the 5 of crows line, since it emphasizes both this and the last point). Meanwhile there were parts that could have been filled in with better dialogue that underlines relationships and connections.
It feels like story line choices about what plot threads to place where we're more for "how riled up can we get the fanbase to demand a season 3?" Instead of serving the story.
I wish they would have set up the structure clearer. It's a huge ensemble cast, with a lot of material to cover, but it felt like 90% of the tome we see the crows, they're scrambling to justify why they're still interacting with the Alina side of the story, so they take half the plot from this fan favorite book, and half ass the story beats so it undercuts scenes like Kas's revenge, and fighting all of the Dregs.
Kaz's story should have been told in 1 solid flashback the first time he was triggered, then refrenced when he's reminded of it, the viewers stay in his emotional headspace instead of trying to figure out what happened every time. Telling the story but by bit works in a book, but it was jarring and confusing to speed through.
Nikolai really got the short end of the stick when it came to smashing the 2 books together. We don't get enough Sturmhond, his identity reveal is undercut without the tailoring changes, and he just comes up super fast and there doesn't seem to be that underlying comrodery that Alina has with him in the books. They don't make each other better, they're just two morally good people in bad circumstances, existing in the same room. Now it seems they're going to try and extend Malina's story into s3, it's going to crowd the Kos and RoW stories.
Changing the entire seawhipe story probably is the most upsetting thing. Why don't we get to hear about his lore? Alina kills him with a sunburst during a fight with the seawhip- not in a fight between the darkling and sturmhond's crew. We don't get the weight of the action that every step closer to achieving her goal, Alina is killing magical folk tale creatures. We don't get the sense that as she's more powerful, she's loosing her humanity to that power. I think what they were going for was the idea of "the stag gave Alina power, but she took it from the sea whip so his scales aren't powerful enough" but I could be wrong?
What happened to the collar????
The last ep of s1 is no mourners, s2's last ep is no funerals. But they hold a funeral, with a speech given by the king before the funeral pyre while the main cast reflects on what the darkling, and his fold had done to their lives.
Pushing the Apperate's story/sun summoner cult off made the ending anticlimactic. One of the best things about the original trilogy is that it really could have stopped there, and it had an appropriate amount of catharsis. Alina makes the choice to surrender herself to an unknown power to stop the darkling- and she looses that power to do so. Now we have a defeated BBEG, but without the narrative weight. Again, I can see how they'll tie the missing elements into the end of RoW- but because they've taken the property and made some genuinely bad choices on story/script, I don't know if they'll get the demand for s3.
They wouldn't commit to fully fleshing out the plot of Six of Crows to dangle that over the fans. The more I think about it, the clearer that is to me. Which I feel like is going to rush the miracle plot line, and the plot in Fjerda down the road. They also rushed Jesper and Wylan a little, but I can forgive that because we don't need additional queer based trauma.
What I can't forgive is revealing Jesper's powers so quickly and unimportantly.
For the most part the directing served its purpose, but it was nothing to write home about. I am a little tired of action cam/slow mo so we can see and appreciate every landed punch, especially during the entire moat sequence.
I can see where someone said "let's tone down the love triangle angle." But then they took out Alina's internal conflicts that don't have to do directly with someone romantically inclined towards her. Taking out the pressure from the cult, and the betrayel of finding out the twins were apart of it, toning down her connection and care for Genya leaves her with only trying to brute force shut down the fold, and trying to keep Mal alive.
The entire 3rd act has me so messed up with what plots actually happened where, I'm rereading the series to reassure that it was well written.
Skipping Alina's frustration of being underground for months, being indebted to the apparate, and Nikolai's disappearance lowered the stakes of the final battle. It underplays Zoya stepping up to join the main cast. The desperation and feeling like the world may indeed run out of Grisha isn't there.
There should be been a more concerted effort to show the fact the twins are Alina's guards, specifically. They felt really useless. Especially when the Darkling attacks and Tamar looses Alina. That doesn't read Saint protector to me.
I get not every production company wants to attack the topic of child soldiers but that was supposed to be a defining line between the darkling and Alina. Again, messed up because the took another of the pressure book!Alina has and just never addressed it.
I liked the addition of the Zemeni helping Mal and Alina escape- but I feel there were ways to show it where Malina still got found by selling her hair pins.
The entire library scene kicks the story off in a poor way. They have the Zemani librarian use her powers to open a drawer that's 5 inches away and it feels unnatural. This library magicly has the exact right map Alina needs with invisible ink she found, that was apperently waiting for a sun summoner? Why wasn't holding it up to the sun working???
Overall I'm bummed. I wish netflix just initially green lit the original trilogy and shot the plot for what it was, and once they saw s1 work out, approve the SoC/CK spin off, or maybe approve s1 for shadow and bone and s1 for SoC, and schedule those to premiere 6 months apart. So then the 2 year wait for s2 of the main trilogy doesn't feel so long. They even could have teased it the way they dropped 2 extra eps on the sandman or stranger things last season. 1 month after the premiere, drop a SoC episode that is the backdoor pilot for the crows.
There's stuff I've listed that I'm sure probably happened that way in the book and I'm misremembering or totally misread it. I just feel the way I perceived s&b was more compelling than the s2 that we ended up with. Like I said before, I'm rereading now to figure it out.

What I Watched This Week – 3/10 – 3/23
Tumblr media
Outlaw Star – It’s hard to believe, but this space adventure series is over twenty-five years old somehow, and I figured I should watch it while it’s still streaming. It follows a brash and cocky young man with an assortment of scars and bright red hair who runs an odd-jobs outfit with a level-headed and precocious eleven-year-old boy on a frontier planet. A series of coincidences gets them tangled up in the affairs of an outlaw attempting to outmaneuver a band of pirates, and sets them on an action-packed journey across the galaxy. I have to admit that I never really took to the main character, and just found his cocky recklessness vaguely annoying as he spouted one-liners while fighting every fight the same way every time. The rest of the cast was a touch more palatable, with his young business partner Jim and the wooden-sword-wielding assassin Shizuka being my favorites. It was a fun enough romp through space, but it was definitely dated, with more homophobic humor than I care for. 7/10
Tumblr media
Yatterman Night – This is a spin-off of a series from the 70s, and it takes the villainous henchmen trio from that series and makes them the protagonists of a story where Yatterman is the villain. The story opens with nine-year-old Leopard discovering that she and her mother’s friends Voltkatze and Elephantus are the decedents of Doronjo, Boyacky, and Tonzura from the original story, and they become so angry at the Yatterman empire for not helping them when her mother was sick that they decide to journey to the capital to give him a forehead flick. I have never seen the original series, and those who have I am sure could pick up on lots of Easter eggs throughout the series, but everything stood alone just fine for me. I had a lot of fun watching Leopard take on the persona of Doronjo, complete with costume and villainous laugh, and Voltkatze’s quickly engineered contraptions and Elephantus’s incredible fighting strength made for exciting fights against the Yatterman forces. The animation was surprisingly good at times, giving the action a ton of life. A fun adventure with a colorful cast. 7/10
Tumblr media
You Don’t Know Gunma Yet – I threw on this series of 3-minute shorts to kill some time one night, and there isn’t a whole lot to say about them. They center on a high school kid who has just moved to Gunma prefecture and learns various facts about the region that had been exaggerated for comedic effect. It all had the vibe of poking fun at where the rednecks live or something, and I don’t know enough about Japan to get most of the jokes or know whether they were punching down. 6/10
Tumblr media
Slayers Next – I liked, but didn’t love the first season of this series, but I ended up really getting into this sequel season. Lina, Gourry, and the crew open their latest adventure by spoiling the world domination plans of the princess of a neighboring country before embarking on a quest to find a magical tome that Zelgadis hopes will have a clue for turning human again. I thought chasing after a mystical book was a fun and classic hook for an adventure, and I thought the new characters they encountered, the new villains, and the new threats to the characters were just all around more compelling than in the previous season. I can tell that if I had watched this in the 90s when I was a teenager I would have been up to my eyeballs in Lina and Gourry fan fiction. What a fun show. 7/10

Had an old sketch for a take on AlphaZet, the fusion of Alpha and Zetto from TOME, and I decided to finish it up.
For anyone who’s read my What-If Season 3 story for TOME’s webseries, know the story would involve a certain “FLUX.EXE”, and yes, AlphaZet would make an appearance(spoilers, I guess😅). The design is meant to be a fusion of the designs I made for Alpha and Zetto in this story, incorporating elements from each, rather than the Two-Face-esque look of his TTA appearance. I also decided to convert his wings into energy wings, to balance out the character model having both arms.
Hope you like my take on the fusion of TOME’s best fighters.

PLUTO AS AN IMAGINED NETFLIX SERIES + (PARTS OF) TITLE CARD
tina can you please actually write instead of avoiding it by making graphics and daydreaming did anyone hear something?? no ?? ok good.. anyway... ive been seeing amazing netflix mockups of wips lately and decided to give it a try for pluto!
read below the cut for more info + taglist !
template i used for the netflix bits here. & if anyone's curious, the font i used for 'Pluto' is called NoMark
Tumblr media
Here is pluto: the netflix series!!!!!!!!!! everyone close their eyes and imagine it... and pretend it's there and that it's good. okay. alright. i imagine the title card & credits bit to be more sophisticated- that's only a rough idea of how i imagined it hehe. writing scripts for shows & film is actually one of my writing dreams! visual media has been something i digest much easier than novels nowadays (just stating facts 😔 creating this blog is a part of my process of trying to get back into reading and Literature in general) and while things like shot composition and other aspects of filmmaking i'm less knowledgeable on, screenplays i find really interesting
Episode List
1. MORSE — Javi takes in a runaway. A young writer recounts his harrowing ordeal following his recent arrival to the town of Fell Island.
2. SWALLOW'S EDGE — Elsa adjusts to her new life, but her past keeps a tight grip. An experienced hiker finds themselves in a rocky situation.
3. WHAT'S IN A NAME — An odd presence visits the diner. A park ranger investigates a rumour surrounding the woods.
4. WONDERLAND — A chance discovery makes Javi question his decision. A determined mother shares her story and searches for her missing daughter.
5. FROM THE WOODS — Elsa tries to get closer to Nico, but her intentions are not what he thinks they are. Cosette puzzles over what she saw.
tv pluto is a bit different than book pluto in that book pluto is, in my head, much shorter than how i imagine tv pluto to be (about 2 seasons, 8-12 eps max?? 😗), and so there would def be more content added that focus on the interpersonal reationships in tv pluto. things like storylines etc would have to be shuffled around & adjusted as well because tv and word are different mediums after all. also pluto employs the framing device - there's an outer story, concerning the customers & employees, human and non-human (wink wonk), and then they spill their tales, the inner stories; the idea of exploring that concept on tv pluto, especially with the added advantage of visuals, is cool!! and ,,, a little bit ambitious tbh since the outer story is also complex-if not more-than the inner stories. that being said the tales told during the episodes are pretty short and won't take too much of the episode time so actually hmm there'll be enough room for everything i imagine. the show would have the same vibes as these images
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(CURSED™️). lots of scenes would b framed as if you were just looking in, a bystander watching these people, or watching thru the pov of the town itself as it watches its organisms' every move. notable songs in this soundtrack (i will post a link to the spotify playlist soon 🤪🤪) include strange fruit by billie holliday, and you are my sunshine, sung by johnny cash (after seeing annabelle: creation that song has not ceased in reminding me of demons LMAO). i'm a big fan of innocuous enough songs being turned into songs being paired w things that r the complete opposite of its original vibe u kno it's so Unsettling

The Sandman bonus notes: Interviews (3)
Here are some of the most interesting facts found in the interviews with Neil Gaiman in the “Sandman Companion”.
Instead of covering two tomes as usual I will only cover one - mostly because I take those interviews from the French compilation of the Sandman comics, and the third volume, instead of having two tomes in one book, rather had “A Game of You” alongside other bonuses and additional stories taken from outside the main Sandman series.
A GAME OF YOU
# Sandman was conceived so that it would alternate between male and female stories. “Preludes and nocturnes” is a male story (male protagonist). The Doll’s House is a female story (Rose Walker as a protagonist, speaks about women and their relationships). Season of Mists is once again focused on Dream, and thus is a male story. Now, A Game of You is about women and their identity.
# The idea for “A Game of You” originated when Neil Gaiman conceived “The Doll’s House”: he wanted Rose Walker to live in a boring, plain, realistic world by day, and in a world of fantasy quests by night. However, Neil Gaiman discovered the novel “Bones of the Moon” by Jonathan Carroll which used the very same structure, so he threw the idea away (though he had it appear in the dreams of Barbie - which was also an homage to “Bones of the Moon”, especially because both have a huge canine creature related to bones). Hopefully later the two men contacted each other. Jonathan Carroll revealed he had read Gaiman’s comic “Signal to Noise” and found it scarily similar to a novel he hadn’t finished writing yet, “The Rainbow Child”. In return, Neil Gaiman revealed how he had a story planned for Sandman that was eerily similar to the “Bones of the Moon” and so they agreed that they were like “two different radios on the same station”, and that their job was not to write different stories, but to write them down in a new way.
# The theme of “A Game of You” is how nobody is a stereotype, no one is what they appear to be on the surface, everyone has inside of them entire worlds.
# The dream of Hazel is one of the rare cases where Neil Gaiman used one of his own dreams for Sandman: he dreamed one day about a very old and dead baby he found in a box, and he took it out and then looked at it as it crawled away to devour other babies.
# Scarlett, mentionned several times, was supposed to make an appearance: her character was the one of a very small and very fat drag-queen that sang in shows with Hal (from The Doll’s House).
# When asked about him receiving a price from the GLAAD for his “positive representation of gay and lesbian characters”, Neil Gaiman explains he never had any political agenda - at least with the characters of Hazel and Fox. All he wanted was that Sandman would reflect people he knew in everyday life - and in fact that was what was considered “progressist”, to just show any kind of woman without any consideration about her sexual orientation,  as someone cool, sane and sympathetic. Tradition in comic books at the time was to represent women as either damsels in distress, or a “man with boobs”. He hoped that characters such as Rose Walker, Barbie, Hal, Fox, Hazel of Wanda would “break the rules”.
# The character of Wanda was inspired by a brief encounter Neil Gaiman had with the friend of a friend in London, “one of the most beautiful women” he ever met and that just happened to be born with a penis. She was terrified of surgeries, and thus refused to have any part of her body cut - and he was seduced by the contradiction of such a situation, and by how deep the decision and question of the gender could go. The character of Wanda was also quite controversial in Gaiman’s entourage: his older friends perceived her as a caricature, while the younger friends saw her as an example and a model.
# Many fans assumed that Neil Gaiman expressed his personal opinion when he depicted the Moon as refusing to let Wanda walk her path because she was not a “real” woman - but Neil Gaiman says he always made it clear that, in his eyes, the gods could well “put in in their holy rectum”. George makes it clear that neither Thessaly nor the Moon believe gender is a choice, and while many readers thought it meant that it was an absolute fact (since it was given by a very ancient witch and a moon deity), Neil Gaiman points out that Wanda considers herself a woman and that so does Death, and for him it is all that matters.
# When asked about how he came to create Thessaly, Neil Gaiman mentions he had noted in neo-pagan circles a new reinterpretation of historical witchcraft as a pleasant religion, not at all bloody and gory, where women were empowered. In truth however, the Greeks and Romans were terrified by the witches living in Thessaly - so he thought it would be interesting to present one of those women in modern days, and to have her continue to act in a gory and deadly way. Not by flying on a broomstick with a black cat, but by following a Greek code of values that is three thousand years old. Neil Gaiman also confirms that Thessaly is at least three thousands years old, though she could also be twenty thousands years old: when she says “I was born the day of the greatest shadow, the year where the bear totem was broken”, it is not a reference to a specific mythology, but for Neil it puts her birth somewhere in the Neolithic. And while she had a name once, she now is more comfortable wearing the names of places she lived in - hence why she calls herself Thessaly (a region in Greece) and later Larissa (a city in Thessaly). The character of Thessaly was also heavily inspired by the Golden Ass of Apuleius, and the stories about witches by the author Lucian - for example the scene where Thessaly uses the face of George is based on a scene from a story of Lucian and another from The Golden Ass, where witches try to steal the face of a dead man.
# Neil Gaiman did not invent the wordplay on Morpheus and Murphy - it came from the Oxford English Dictionary, where Murphy was listed as a perversion of Morpheus and was used already in 1890 in expressions.
# Neil Gaiman says he should one day tell the story of Alianora, the former lover of Dream for which the fantasy world was created. He says it is a beautiful story, and a very sad one.

Lots of my mutuals and followers have begun expressing more curiosity about the Witcher Saga now that s1 of the Netflix adaptation is out! This is awesome and I'm so eager to share one of my favourite fantasy series with you!
However, the reading order for the books is a bit unclear for beginners, so I'll lay it out again:
The Last Wish (short stories vol. 1)
The Sword of Destiny (short stories vol. 2)
Blood of Elves (novel #1)
Time of Contempt (novel #2)
Baptism of Fire (novel #3)
Tower of the Swallow (novel #4)
Lady of the Lake (novel #5)
Season of Storms (side story #1)
For reference, s1 of the Netflix adaptation covers short story volumes 1 and 2.
If you haven't played the games and are curious about those, too, I would strongly advise that you wait to play the games until you read up to Lady of the Lake, as the games (which are basically post-novels fanfiction) contain major spoilers for books 1-7.
Anyway I adore these stories because you get to watch Sapkowski grow from an amateur, uncertain writer at the beginning of Last Wish to a confident master of the craft at the same time as you watch his characters and world grow. It's a really fun experience. Plus, for the context in which these books were written (90s Poland) they are incredibly progressive and still contain some very progressive and pertinent messages for today.
I also say this as a fan of ASOIAF: these are better than ASOIAF by a long shot (or at least become so once Sapkowski hits his stride). They contain the heart and soul that ASOIAF buries in exposition. They have moments of both raucous humour and deep tenderness alongside the dark and gritty. I have been moved to laughter and tears within the same chapter more than once. Sapkowski manages to capture both the heavy themes of GRRM and the unbridled joie de vivre of Terry Pratchett, and I love him for it. They're also really fast, tight reads compared to ASOIAF, so if you find length daunting, rest assured that these are not huge tomes.
Enjoy!!!

i feel like its a thing w the sacred stones banners to either be an absolute banger (like the one last year) or (in a bad way) absolutely disgusting (like the one from book 3)
of course following the pattern this one is the biggest meh, despite being happy to see riev and rennac. no dozla? ascended design feels like kind of a rip off of f-- which is weird and unfitting, no 3-4 focus would be bad also (maybe im hoping they just forgot abt it lol). colm and neimi are cool too i guess but i feel like they got pushed aside like literally everyone was in the mercenary banner (ewan, tethys, gerik), rennac too. idk. i hope riev gets a cool tome to make up for it, but i feel like theyre gonna retcon it so he did all the bad stuff in the story (manipulating orson, sentencing knoll, natasha, and natasha’s mentor to death, ect) to let lyon get off scot free and just be perfect soff boi for the sake of his fans. idk. either way im glad riev gets in! i do feel bad for valter bc hes the only grado general still stuck at 4 star. sorry vore man i had beef with your fans lol
i wonder if this also means january will be the previous december’s game? next january wakes kids maybe. sleeping noise lol.
i am looking forward to what they have next. calendar should be up soon ish. new heroes in late jan would be so good. (tms part 2 pspspspspsp) kinda hope they dont do another plegia even tho the first one was nice, but i had a hunch it might be a dancer banner with a 16 theme if theres a different seasonal then. also no new heroes until late feb. ughhh. i hope the story is meaty in ch 3 so i can work on my fics more lol

hannibal questions! 🍖🔪
@nietzscheantrout @horrorlesbians and @hanniba1 wanted me to answer these hannibal questions and i wrote too much but oh well! thanks to all 3 of you ilu!!!
favorite episode and why: oh we’re just goin straight to the hard questions huh um OKAY so i think i can only do an ep a season - s1: SORBET SUPREMACY! you get to see the exact moment will looks at hannibal and thinks “.........shit. it’s him isn’t it. he’s The One. SHIT.” and that is so important to me - s2: this one is really hard maybe naka-choko? it’s so fucking gay and sexy. but tome-wan... but mizumono............ yeah idk - s3: torn between digestivo and the wrath of the lamb cuz they both hurt SOOO good much; i love will breaking up with hannibal and hannibal manipulating the situation so will can’t leave asldkjansk it’s so toxic we have to stan..... and for twotl i mean do i really have to give a reason every scene LIVES in my mind and it contains my favorite shot in the whole show:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
that is LOVE baby! that is DESIRE! that is being ENTHRALLED!!!!
least favorite episode and why: i feel like they’re all so necessary that it’s kind of impossible to say but probably antipasto. i get sick of hannibal and bedelia’s shenanigans really quickly and as much as i hate to admit it... i miss will. i also think it was an extremely weak season opener and i blame it for getting the show canceled sjshshsgsg the resentment...
favorite side character: chiyoh or jimmy or actually wait— RANDALL TIER 🖤
if you could bring back one character who died, who would it be?: RANDALL FUCKING TIER. i want there to be a weird thing with him and hannibal and will going on. but also i love what his death did for will so idfk, other than him it’s gotta be beverly
dish prepared in the show that you would like to try eating/making: i was supposed to make hannibal’s osso bucco recipe like 3 weeks ago but it completely slipped my mind so i guess i’ll get on that my next grocery trip
which side character would you kill off?: chilton just because for god’s sake just let the man DIE ALREADY poor guy <- i’m taking ava’s answer because YEAH
was there any scene that you didn’t like to look at?: nah. the skin ripping scenes at the beginning of either kaiseki or sakizuki (idk i don’t remember, i hardly watch s2a) are particularly brutal but i tough it out
biggest ship: i mean do i even have to say
why did you start watching hannibal?: my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, and her dad were watching it as it was airing and i was like “oh cool hannibal lecter origin story” but due to inconsistent access to the episodes i would just watch it randomly and that is... not the way to watch hannibal. i gave up around the end of s2 but knew hannigram was It regardless. i decided to watch s3 for the first time earlier this year just to have finished it and was like HOLD UP and did an immediate rewatch that left me... well, how i am now
favorite hannibal fic if you’ve read any?:
oh boy. yall ready for this? all of these can be found on ao3 obviously (i’m so sorry this is so long but i guess i’ve been asked to put together a fic rec anyway)
as soft, as wide as air by blackknightsatellite, the ladders series by emungere, blackbird by emungere, consenting to dream series by emungere, taken for rubies by emungere, at first meeting by emungere, protect me from what i want by @alienfuckeronmain, god of the cold, cold wars by highermagic, the abyss smiled back by highermagic, pomegranate seeds by highermagic, absolute zero by highermagic, in the truly gruesome do we trust by sidnihoudini, TKO by sidnihoudini, oh dear by lunarwench, each according to its kind by chapparral_crown, a flood in our hearts by nanoochka, let me sinful be by darlingred, uncomplicated by stratumgermanitivum & youaremydesign, good bones by @damnslippyplanet, like they do in babylon by @damnslippyplanet, your obedient servant by kareliasweet, past our satellites by shotgunsinlace, only the tender meat by isagel, the shape of me will always be you by missdisoriental, a white-walled room by rodabonor, spleen et idéal by rodabonor, the paper doll series by rodabonor, a common point of interest by rodabonor [i do NOT like a/b/o stuff but if i did... it’s this fic], just thought you should know by earthsickwithoutyou, the sacrificial lamb by princesskay, transcendent suffering by itsbeautiful, not something polite by moistdrippings, leave your message after the tone by onewhositswithturtles, holes in the floor of the mind by feverdreamblood, crossing caina by feverdreamblood, the archipelago series by melusine10, but seas between us braid hae roar’d by kareliasweet
have you watched any of the hannibal films?: yeah all of them except manhunter! i grew up watching silence of the lambs because my mom loved it and i went thru a big edward norton phase as a teen so i’ve seen red dragon like 10 times
have you read the thomas harris books?: no and i’m not going to lmao #fakefan
favorite murder tableau: if we’re talking just hannibal’s- the judge. if we’re talking Murder Bad But Kinda Pretty like in general probably the mushroom people or the totem
favorite blood spill: will imagining hannibal while he beats randall to death or The Gutting of Will Graham
what’re some of your headcanons?: - will is good at shibari (backed up in canon: his fishing knots, the firefly man’s full body hishi karada harness) - hannibal rarely listens to modern, non-classical music but he’s a björk fan and he saw one of her chapel performances during the vespertine era and was Moved - will listens to classic rock (zeppelin, the doors, pink floyd) with some classic country (patsy, merle, johnny) and blues (billie, muddy, bessie) thrown in. he’s also a sucker for early/mid-90s college rock/alternative/grunge - will plays the piano (because of the piano in his living room) and the harmonica (because he’s country white trash); he’s kind of shit tho - hannibal fell for will somewhere between “my thoughts are often not tasty” and “you won’t like me when i’m psychoanalyzed” (love at first sight! at last sight! at ever and ever sight!!!) - will’s circumcised, hannibal isn’t 🤪 - hannibal’s a gemini!!!! adaptable, creative, intelligent, outgoing, impulsive, etc - will’s an aquarius!!!!! analytical, a loner, temperamental, unique, compassionate, etc - will’s mom was jewish go read my fic about it https://archiveofourown.org/works/26774326 - hannibal is an agender man (tbh i think of this as canon, it’s just unstated/undefined) - hannibal can speak russian, spanish, and a teensy bit of portuguese in addition to the other languages we know he speaks (lithuanian, english, french, italian, japanese) - will speaks limited amounts of french; he learned it as a kid in louisiana - ED TW will sometimes has a Difficult relationship with food due to food instability by the way of poverty as a kid and goes through periods where it’s hard to keep himself fed, but hannibal is so good for him in that way because he keeps him from going hungry 😓 (yes this is me projecting but also it makes SENSE) - hannibal typically bottoms but THEY DEFINITELY ARE BOTH VERS and will never stops being surprised by how much he loves catching a dick. every time is like religious experience. okay? okay - they’re also both very kinky and switches but tbh.... will was made to Dom hannibal like that’s the reason he exists he could drag that old bitch around by a leash and hannibal would be in heaven HANNIBAL WOULD CALL HIM SIR - the first time they have sex hannibal comes like immediately but he isn’t embarrassed because he’s hannibal fucking lecter and hannibal lecter doesn’t get embarrassed - i have a hc for their favorite sex positions but i’m not gonna put that here because i don’t want yall calling me crazy any more than you probably already do but if you wanna know just DM me all i do is think about them fucking it’s a curse - okay no more dirty stuff abigail called hannibal “dad” on more than one occasion and it was half-joking but it also felt comfortable to her; she never thought to call will “dad” because he’s a weirdo and never knew her as much as he knew his idea of her - hannibal taught her to play piano at the cliff house - beverly is pansexual!!! - brian and jimmy kissed one time when they were drunk and they NEVER talk about it EVER - chiyoh is straight probably. i know, i know, everyone says she’s a lesbian and if she’s a lesbian to you that’s awesome! she’s a lesbian! but idk i just think she’s SO fucking straight and tbh i mourn bc that’s my wife. she could MAYBE be bicurious... - chiyoh is non-monogamous and doesn’t do serious relationships, she doesn’t like the idea of being tied to one person ever since she left the lecter castle - she helped hannibal and will escape after The Fall; she told hannibal she would continue to watch over him and i think she did, she got them a boat and got them the fuck out of there - MOLLY IS DOING SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT WILL. SHE’S SO GLAD SHE GOT OUT OF THAT WHEN SHE DID. she has a good, long talk with alana and finds out all the shit about him and hannibal that will never told her (and it was a lot), gets drunk and burns all his shit, and then washes her hands of the whole thing; moves to a different state, gets a girlfriend, and never thinks about will again
okay i’m capping it there or i’m never gonna stop!! i’m not tagging anyone cuz i think everyone has done this by now lmao but if you’re a mutual who hasn’t and you want to just do it and say i tagged you!! mwah!!!!

i was tagged by @matthewbrown and @cannnibal for these super fun hannibal questions!! thank you both so much i always love gushing about this show as we know
Favourite episode and why: oh god okay, if i HAD to pick one it’s mizumono. it’s just such a Perfect episode, it’s so ridiculously beautiful down to the tiniest detail, like the ticking clock sound that plays through most the episode???? love it. my other top favorite episodes are secondo, primavera, shiizakana, dolce, naka choko, appertivo, tome wan, trou normand, the wrath of the lamb, the number of the beast is 666, contorno, mukōzuke and su-zakana.
Least favourite episode and why: uhhh, i honestly love them all?? i guess probably either hassun or takiawase?? just they feel the slowest to me i guess.
Favourite side character: jimmy price!!!! i love him so much. i’d say beverly but she’s not a side character in my eyes.
If you could bring back one character who died, who would it be?: abigail because she didn’t deserve to die. i know it held value for the story but i really wish she hadn’t, especially in that way. it’s beautifully tragic and painful but she as a person deserved better.
Dish prepared in the show that you would like to try eating/ making: all of it except the weird ass nietzschean trout and that disgusting jello with the fish in it because those look DISGUSTING. and the frois gras for the same reason as bella. everything else i would try, can’t promise i’d like it but i’d definitely try it.
Which side character would you kill off?: chilton just because for god’s sake just let the man DIE ALREADY poor guy
Was there any scene that you didn’t like to look at?: i’ve talked about it before but the intubation scene is by far the scene that causes me the most discomfort. it feels so much like a rape scene and the symbolism of it, it Is a rape scene, a violation of will’s body. the way hannibal strokes his face i just. yeah. also the lobotomy scene but i have a thing with eyes. other than that the gore never bothers me much, at least not anymore i’ve seen it some many times.
Biggest ship: hannigram obviously like..... why is this even a question
Why did you start watching Hannibal?: i have always been a big fan of the hannibal films, and red dragon was always my favorite so when i found out they were doing a show i was stoked! i watched the first two seasons when it first aired but i lost cable around the time season 3 aired so i didn’t end up finishing it until 2016. so yes, i ended on MIZUMONO and didn’t see any more for TWO YEARS. it was traumatic.
Favourite Hannibal fic if you’ve read any?: okay i went through a period of like 3 months where i just Binge read them and they were all good but they’ve sort of blurred together. but a few that really stuck out for me were
Blackbird
Two Solitudes
As soft, as wide as air
Of Putrefaction, Saccharine (lol this one fucked me UP and i CRIED)
I Didn’t Know It Could Be Like This (part 1) & If The World Burned to Ash, Still We Would Remain (part 2)
What We Talk About When We Talk About Blood (i never read the second part bc it’s not finished, and i REFUSE to start a incomplete fic)
Change Me (If You Dare)
Have you watched any of the Hannibal films?: yes!! i grew up watching red dragon, silence of the lambs and hannibal. i think i watched silence of the lambs for the first time when i was like 7 or 8 LMAO which explains a lot. the only ones i haven’t seen are hannibal rising and i really wanna watch manhunter!
Have you read the Thomas Harris books?: i’m in the process of reading red dragon, but i most definitely prefer the show.
Favourite murder tableau: in the whole show it’s the prisoner, because the significance it holds for will’s character arc. but if we’re talking about the more traditional murder tableau’s i’m gonna go with cassie boyle’s it’s visually very striking and beautiful in a horribly morbid way.
Favourite blood spill: oh god a lot of them but uhhh, obviously the slaying of the dragon, will imaging slitting hannibal’s throat in tome wan, and then i completely loose my damn mind over will imaging being randall tier in shiizakana when he’s covered in blood and has the antlers coming out of his back i— 👁👄👁
What’re some of your headcanons?: it’s not necessarily a headcanon and more of an analysis but i go absolutely FERAL when i read any meta talking about will holding a more traditionally feminine role in the story of the show, especially talking about him being a gothic heroine. it’s why i loose my mind over any comparisons of hannibal and dracula and will being mina i just [incoherent screaming]. i also obviously love any headcanon’s of dark will graham. it’s something i post about myself a lot because to me it’s not headcanon, it is canon supported throughout the show, that will is killer who wears a person suit the same as hannibal. he’s not just a righteous killer, he has the exact same capacity for violence as hannibal. he just had a harder time accepting it.
i tag (and once again if i double tag y’all i’m sorry!!) @aragima @arunima @horrorcupid @nietzscheantrout @honnibal @hughdancyx @marg0t-verger @serialcannibal @hotgirlhannibal @francisforever and anyone else who wants to do it obviously xx

Transcript for Cold Open Idea (AKA The Incomplete Story)
In the past few years, I’ve done what I could to change the Disney executives’ minds and convince them to give Wander Over Yonder one more season once @crackmccraigen finishes Kid Cosmic for Netflix - letters, emails, fan art, pieces of philosophy, etcetera - because it’s been my belief that if I show just how much I care about the show, I might get to take a peek at some S3-related content. Alas, it still wasn’t enough. Should I give up? NO! It’s the 7th anniversary of Wander Over Yonder’s first episode, The Greatest, and I have something truly special to share with you all.
Long ago, I came up with an idea involving Ms. Myrtle the Eternal Turtle and a titanic tome that has only 2/3 of the contents it can hold. Imagine, if you will, that S3 would have taken place between November 2016 and September 2017, and since there are references to the more recent DTVA shows, also imagine this whole portion takes place after S3 and sometime during 2020. Think of it as something similar to the opening of Aladdin (the 1992 animated feature), but long enough to be broken down into two parts. In the event that my other idea, The Eye on the Galaxy, doesn’t happen, maybe the folks who worked on WOY might take this into consideration - those who worked on/have seen The Party Poopers and The Sick Day are sure to get a kick out of it, especially @owner-of-wendys and @benbalistreri, the directors of both episodes. If you’re a true fan of the show, I can guarantee you’ll relate to Ms. Myrtle.
All right, here it goes.
MS. MYRTLE: (reading a big book) “...“Nothing ever changes,” an annoyed Peepers and a content Sylvia stated before joining in the chase. Without Dominator around to cause any more trouble, it didn’t matter to Hater if he chased Wander around, because he had proven himself to be the greatest if not the most powerful villain in the entire galaxy.”
(Looks at the viewer)
MS. MYRTLE: Oh, good day to you, my dears. I, Ms. Myrtle, was just finishing up the second act of this spine-tingling, knee-slapping, heart-warming story of Wander and his adventures in the galaxy. Thrax's renovated bookstore had one large copy available, but I was fortunate enough to get it as a gift from Wander himself before he moved on to a different galaxy. (shows the front of the book with the Wander Over Yonder show logo on it) Have you ever heard of Wander? No? Well, I say it’s time you got to know a bit more about him.
(Flashes her eyes, causing the entire screen to turn bright purplish pink. As Ms. Myrtle talks, colored silhouettes of characters appear and move around in accordance to the actions being said.)
MS. MYRTLE: (narrating) Once upon a time, in a galaxy weaved by yours truly, there was a benevolent vagabond called Wander. Accompanied by his loyal, headstrong zbornak friend, Sylvia, he loved to explore the planets, see the sights, and help everyone in need. When the pair crossed paths with the evil Lord Hater and his army of Watchdogs, Wander would set out to have some fun with him in an effort to make him his new friend. Of course, Sylvia would always get her furry friend out of a scrape when necessary. One day, an even greater evil, an immensely powerful villain with a masculine-sounding name, Lord Dominator, showed up to take over the galaxy. Hater was furiously jealous at first, but the electric skeleton man became love struck when Wander saw Dominator’s true form and tried to get the two together. Soon, everyone learned that Dominator was solely interested in destroying the galaxy, so they did whatever they could to stop her, and Hater was eventually no longer in love with her. There was but one planet remaining, one that Wander and Sylvia had found hidden in the shadows. The people they befriended in the galaxy were gathered there, and when Wander unintentionally lured Dominator to the planet, Hater, having learned of the planet’s whereabouts, intervened so he could claim it for his own. With all the encouragement from his army and newfound followers, Hater saw his power through and stopped Dominator once and for all. Wander did save her from her ship’s destruction, but his token of friendship was wasted on her, for she had no interest in him or anyone else and stormed off. Life on the destroyed planets began anew, and Wander still believed he would one day find a new friend in Lord Hater.
(The screen goes back to normal.)
MS. MYRTLE: So what do you think? Does it not make for one of the most fascinating stories ever written? Would you like to hear more? Well, you’re in luck, there’s just one more act beyond this page and I can’t wait to-- (turns the page that reads “Act III” and has a picture of a downed space pod with flashing lightning, only to find 1/3 of the book is all blank) Wait a moment... Where’s the rest? What form of skulduggery is this? The contents say there are three acts, but the third one is missing! I’d better go see the publisher about this.
(Ms. Myrtle tucks into her shell, spins, and disappears.)
(Cut to a view of a planet with an archive building on it. Ms. Myrtle’s shell appears, stops spinning, and lands on the planet with a loud, thunderous thud, causing the building to shake. A tall man with large bag over his head, startled by the noise, steps outside.)
DIZZ: H-hello? Who’s there? (gasps and walks up to the shell, out of which Ms. Myrtle emerges) A giant turtle! Did you make that noise just now?
MS. MYRTLE: Yes, my good sir, it was I who made that noise. My apologies. So tell me, are you the universally renowned Dizz Gnee?
DIZZ: Why, yes. My legal name is Phan Gnee, but everyone calls me Dizz because I’m all about diverse business. Div biz. Dizz.
MS. MYRTLE: Yes, that’s grand. Now then, if I may come to the point, what’s the idea of leaving out one chunk of this book you published? It’s incomplete! (shows Dizz the front cover, the image of the downed space pod, and the blank pages)
DIZZ: Well, if you must know, our target group wasn’t that interested in Wander Over Yonder on the day of its release date announcement, so I figured two acts were enough and I had one copy made. Apparently, people are way more partial to our other properties. (pulls out posters of various properties) The ever popular Mystery Kids Mysteries cartoon, the Storm vs. the Demons of Doom anime and manga, the QuackTales reboot comics, and the new Phunnie Phinster shorts. We’ve also got Gigopolis Greys, Swampia, Witchcraft Witches, this new Phernius and Fibb movie--
MS. MYRTLE: (moves her head closer to Dizz) Enough blathering, why did you cut Wander’s story short?
DIZZ: I would tell you, but it’s highly classified. I’m the publisher and only I get to call the shots. As for the blank pages, they make good sketch paper.
MS. MYRTLE: (moves her head back) But you don’t understand, there’s so much more the book was supposed to reveal, including Lord Hater’s origin story, as you can see right here in the table of contents. (points to a section on the contents page marked “Act III” with various never-before-seen episode (chapter) titles)
DIZZ: Oh, I knew I should’ve whited out that part.
MS. MYRTLE: (shows a picture of a bearded man resembling Craig McCracken on the book’s sleeve) Also, do you not realize the author of this book has had many, many years of experience? Why, he must have worked harder on it than anybody else did on the projects you’ve been more inclined to promote.
DIZZ: Well, the author doesn’t work for me anymore - he’s making an action series for Galacticflix now.
MS. MYRTLE: Oh, yes, Space Boy Laddie, I heard about it a few weeks ago, and I’ll be sure to watch it when it comes out.
DIZZ: You must. It’s one of his most ambitious projects yet. I should know, because I almost owned the rights to it.
MS. MYRTLE: Still, it doesn’t hide the fact that the author wants to share what might just be the best part of this very book. That being said, I must ask you, (tenderly) would you please give me the remainder of the pages so those who read the book will have absolute satisfaction and become more inspired to help others and spread kindness?
DIZZ: Um... no. No thank you, ma’am. I’m in charge of all that I publish and produce, and what I say goes. Two acts are enough.
MS. MYRTLE: (stares flatly at the viewer) I’ve tried to be nice. (menacingly to Dizz) Now see here, Dizz, I did not warp halfway across the galaxy to let you deny all readers the REAL conclusion to Wander’s story! If you don’t bring me the missing pages this instant, I’ll destroy everything in the universe, starting with that paper bag on your head!
(Ms. Myrtle flashes her eyes and the paper bag starts to disintegrate from the brim, prompting Dizz to panic.)
DIZZ: Aaaah! AAAAAH! Okay-okay! Okay! I’ll bring you the pages! I’ll bring you the p-p-p-pages!
(The bag stops disintegrating as Dizz rushes back inside the archive building to retrieve the missing pages.)
MS. MYRTLE: (normal voice) Finally! I thought I’d never get through to that cheeky chap. He’s about as stubborn as my cousin, Mr. Portis, the Infinite Tortoise.
DIZZ: (steps outside with the pages) I’m back! Here are your pages, Ms...
MS. MYRTLE: Myrtle. Ms. Myrtle.
DIZZ: ...Myrtle, g-go ahead and take them.
MS. MYRTLE: Thank you, Dizz. You’ve done the right thing. (takes the pages and telekinetically merges them with the blank pages in the book so that the book no longer has any blank pages ) You know, as long as I’m here, why don’t I read the rest of Wander’s story to you?
DIZZ: Well, I am in the first stage of finalizing The Phantom and Millie McPhee, but I suppose I have time.
MS. MYRTLE: Lovely. Here we go then. “Act 3. Chapter 80. Deprived of her ship, bots, and powers, Dominator had been striding in the orbble across the reborn galaxy for at least...”
(End)
This may be verbose, but I think this would make for a comic book idea to promote the show’s return and launch of S3 on Disney+. To give you an idea of what Dizz looks like, here’s my drawing of him.
Tumblr media
You can be sure Piotr Michael would be more than happy to reprise his role as Ms. Myrtle for this part - it would showcase his impression of Maggie Smith more than The Sick Day did. You can also guess what DTVA shows Dizz is referencing (here are some extra properties not mentioned above that “have/had it easy”: Quinn Conceivable, Aquarium High, Flapunzel: the Series, and Super 6 Supreme: the Series). Maybe James Adomian could pull off a businessman voice for him, what with the additional voices he provided for The Party Poopers. As a bonus, he could emphasize the F sounds with a flatulent sound when he says words like “Phan,” “enough,” “classified,” and “Galacticflix.”
Side notes: Phunnie Phinster is the name I made up for the mascot of Phunulon, the theme park planet from The Bounty. I came up with Mr. Portis as one of my fan-made characters - I imagine him having a voice similar to that of Billy Connolly.
Take it as you will. This just might be one of the finest pieces of partially canon fan fiction I’ve ever written. Like I said before, it’s a fun way to summarize the overall story so far, acknowledge the executives’ incompetence (like Futurama once did), and get S3 started. There no denying it - the plans for S3 exist. If Craig felt there was no way we could get through to the executives, he would’ve told us all about S3 by now. He still hasn’t told us, so we can’t give up. If Ms. Myrtle can convince Dizz Gnee to give the book real closure, we can convince Disney to give the show real closure. Of course, unless you’re a giant turtle who controls the universe, threatening the executives would be ill-advised.
On a final note, I found yesterday that Wander made a cameo in Big City Greens as a prize toy (along with Rufus from Kim Possible, Perry the Platypus, Bill Cipher, Star Butterfly, Sprig Plantar, and King from The Owl House) in a claw machine game. I once expected him to appear on the show at some point, so thank you, @chrishoughton and Shane Houghton, for making it possible. Our fight to see more than just the space ape and the Star Nomad continues.

DC is keeping out the summertime blues with a full line-up of all-new books, novels, and special releases that will be hitting comic shops on Tuesdays with something for everybody featuring fan-favorites and the World’s Greatest Super Heroes!
The warm weather season isn’t exactly looking like it’ll be bright beach weather days and frosty double-dipped ice cream cones by sundown. Stickball along the concrete curb and courtside quarrels over who wore the Bat Suit best (Affleck or Keaton? Dick Grayson or Bruce Wayne? Definitely Kate Kane!) will more likely be a debate left for 2021. After all WB is pushing its entire blockbuster line-up, so both The Batman and The CW’s Batwoman may have to wait to get in on the ballot.
What fans can count on, is a whole line-up of new books! June is shaping up as a huge publishing hit for the DC with a series of ongoing adventures, highly anticipated graphic novels and all-new collected volumes ready to fill the imaginative void that might strike even the most expert social isolationist among us. While the TOME RPG is still being worked on, fans of the TOME webseries will know that yesterday, February 20th 2020, was the in-series release date for the fictional MMO.
So in celebration, I decided to create some chibis of the Alpha and the group, using my 'Season 3' fan designs.
Once again, we're passing through points in fictional history. Crazy huh?
