That scene- where Clint makes more trick arrows… 😭 please just imagine for me Tony Stark and Clint Barton, the two insomniacs of the avengers team, huddled in the lab at four in the morning, Tony leaned against Clint, half draped over him, laughing at something he’s said as they both fiddle with tech, cracking jokes and coming up with more and more outlandish trick arrows to create, toasting marshmallows over the small fire they accidentally started and sharing thoughts and space and… just Clint and tony friendship for me please

Hc: Loki's Nordic runes are really good, he writes them like they're stamped on, but his English is the most incomprehensible ancient calligraphy you've ever seen and his math is even worse.
He writes like this

And his math looks like this

He insists it's completely normal and entirely readable.

Still feel betrayed over nuclear waste being a yellow powder and not a green liquid. Nuclear waste barrels, as far as I can tell, actually do look like that, but they’re like 90% full of concrete to block the radiation and contain very little actual waste each. All of science fiction has lied to us. I don’t think “green goo” style radioactive waste material is even a real thing. Which makes sense when you think about it, since most “unspent” nuclear material is either stone or a metal, so why tf would it “melt” when spent?
Funnily, I think The Simpsons may be to blame for this, and has thus affected the portrayal of nuclear waste in many much more serious pieces of media. I kind of want to know where The Simpsons itself even got the idea from, because as far as I can tell, the “glowing green ooze” idea is just a complete fabrication.

The amount of work that automotive engineers have done in regards to efficiency in the past few years is crazy. Like, what you mean these two cars have the same coefficient of drag???

Another Atlantis thing that I love that they seem to have kind of stopped doing after season 1 is getting to see the characters in their everyday clothes. Like that's they're home, they're obviously not going to be in uniform 24/7 and I love getting to see some personality come through in the choice of clothes that they brought along.

cute nurse yuuta but also unhinged nurse yuuta, you see? nurse yuuta with cold fingers and needles. white rooms and white gloved fingers touching you. nurse yuuta who is making mental notes of every detail of your skin, your needs. and of course the short exchanged words. and who is mesmerized by how softly the needle pierces through your skin, by how you trust him. he's done it a thousand times before, it shouldn't be this special. the delicacy in which his body moves as to not make it any more uncomfortable than it already is. he wonders if he could make you drift away slowly, warmly falling deep into unconsciousness without notice. those thoughts trouble him often. it's tempting.
I always liked hospitals and nursers. And blood tests. It's definitely not the usual harmless Yuuta.
oh…….. the more often he has to graze your skin, to draw your blood, to check your temperature, the more he keeps thinking about how he almost wants to keep you under his care forever…. how he kind of wants to be the only person to have to care for you.
and it’s not that he wants to hurt you to keep you there, he just wants to be the only one to touch you, he wants to be the only one you trust. and he wants to know everything about you, he knows the ins but he wants to see it affect your outside too. he knows your blood is warm in the vials, but how does it feel against your cheeks when you’re flustered? when you’re happy? when you’re scared? does your skin feel cold everywhere—where are you warm? he’s seen the graph of your heart on ECGs, but who does it beat for? can he make it beat for him? if he gave you part of him, would you keep it, would he be able to live inside of you? they’re very tempting thoughts; troublesome, but tempting….

I just rewatched The Winter Soldier for the nth time and it's just such an amazing movie. The perfection of the weapons designed to 'stop threats before they can happen' shooting themselves down because they, and the philosophy they symbolize, are the real threat, and that Captain America, who uses a shield instead of a weapon, leads the charge against them. It messes me up every time.

It came to my attention that I’d archived a bunch of chats on WhatsApp because I thought archiving meant deleting old messages to save memory and assumed that if a new message came in I’d get a notification and see it!
NOPE! That’s not what happens
And I went into my archived chats and I had a message from my (cishet Christian) aunt from early December asking me if I could donate any items for an art exhibition her university is doing for queer history month (which is February)
I did not see this message.
So she didn’t get a response.
She then sent me another message worried that she had offended me, apologising, and saying that she wants to be a good supportive aunt and asking if there’s anyway she can do that.
I did not see this message.
So she didn’t get a response.
She then sent me another message saying she was upset she didn’t get to see me round Christmas and hopes I’m well. (She visited the family but I had to work that day)
Again. Did not see it
Did not respond
I’m so devastated! I want to help her with this queer art exhibition but it’s probably too late now. And this poor woman was trying to reach out to me in a loving manner, accepting me as a queer trans person (the whole family is very religious so it was a little bit rocky to begin with but this particular aunt has always been lovely) and from her point of view I just ignored her! For over a month! Just said nothing. And she was worrying that she’d offended me by asking to be involved in art!! I love art! I always wanna be involved in art!
Ive just sent her a bunch of messages apologising and suggesting things I can donate if it’s not too late but she hasn’t responded yet (she’s probably asleep cos it’s quite late) and I’m stressing cos I’ve probably ruined her chance to be involved in this exhibition because I’m a fool who doesn’t know how WhatsApp works 😭
I need to sleep but I’m so upset about this situation I can’t. I just want her to message me back like:
“oh don’t worry! It’s not too late! I can create a work of art in 3 days and the exhibition still has lots of space and is taking pieces literally the day before it opens! It’s all good!”
*Edit*
Update!

Summary: The New Dawn – How Technology Is Shaping a New Socioeconomic Order
In Technofeudalism: The New Dawn, the article delves into the emerging concept of technofeudalism, a new socioeconomic structure where technology giants control not only the digital landscape but also influence the political and economic power of societies. As large tech corporations gain unprecedented power, this shift is prompting a reexamination of societal norms, governance, and economic systems.
The article explores how companies like Amazon, Google, and Facebook are not just tech entities but are becoming modern feudal lords, wielding immense influence over individuals and governments alike. It argues that technofeudalism is an extension of traditional feudal systems but through the lens of technology, where digital platforms hold more power than any single government or institution. For readers interested in exploring more articles on society’s evolving challenges, visit the Mind Matters section of Amaranth Magazine, where we analyze the intersection of mental health, technology, and society.
The discussion in this article is a wake-up call about the growing concentration of power in the hands of a few tech leaders and the potential risks this poses to democratic values, privacy, and individual freedom. The piece provides insights into the implications of technofeudalism, drawing parallels between historical feudal systems and today's tech-controlled world. It also raises important questions about how we can ensure a more equitable digital future.

There was a post on here that mentioned that Crosshair may already know about Tech's death since Omega keeps saying "Hunter and Wrecker" when she talks about the rest of the Batch and I agree. Though, I feel like Tech keeps being the elephant in the room (or in the ship, I guess.) Apart from his shattered glasses from episode one and Omega bringing up the fact he taught her all of the plans, his death has yet to be mentioned out loud this season (keeping in mind that we're only 4 episodes in.)
But yeah, I don't know, I feel like there's something about Tech. I'm just not sure what.

Every day I wish Zelda wasnt sent to the past in totk and instead wound up trapped in the underground with the Yiga and had to disguise herself as Sheik. Give the Yiga a bigger role in totk so that she had a reason to stay and hide amongst them-- researching tech with the Yiga and sussing out their plans with Ganon. That Kohga never got to meet Ganon even once is such wasted potential 😔💔

Hey Baku!! I'm considering beefing up my redbubble or selling art elsewhere and wanted to ask, how is it working for you? Do you like it, and do you have experience with other art selling sites?
ah I might not be the best person to ask about that... I don't like redbubble and I don't enjoy the thing they just did with their margin and payout, but also that's just kinda how platforms are? if it's not this then it's something else. any of the print stuff I offer is fully on request now anyway (except for when I really like a piece and think it'd make a great print lol) - I don't really treat redbubble stuff like how merch artists do it, there's very little calculation involved in upkeeping the store, and it's absolutely not where any significant amount of my income comes from. at most I get enough to reach the payout margin every two months, otherwise it's definitely not uncommon for it to lie around at no movement for months on end. I'm not even involved enough to figure out how to tag my stuff on there without getting it lasered off the face of the earth by IP holders lmao. quality-wise their stuff's about fine, nothing exceptional to 'em, it's a good spot if you want to offer a variety of products at about the same level of effort and aren't too fussed about the margin. and that's as far as my use of the site extends
