Funny thing I noticed, in ep 17 of Scooby Doo, Where are you? (1969), called "That's Snow Ghost", the team goes to a place called Wolf's End Lodge, Shaggy makes a comment about it looking like Dracula's home. There are some ideas about Dracula being a werewolf. I doubt that the original writers thought about the Dracula werewolf connection but maybe.
