So we've all heard of the "I Want Song" genre in musicals.
But what about the "Let's talk about the bitch behind their back like they're not in the room" song, or "singing s*** behing a bitche's back". There's a surprising amount of them.
"Belle" from Beauty and the Beast
"Scrooge" from Muppet Christmas Carol
"Maria" from The Sound of Music
"Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee" from Grease
"You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" from How The Grinch Stole Christmas
"Jackass In a Can" from Galavant
"Phony King of England" from Robin Hood
"Stepsister's Lament" from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella
"Non-Stop" from Hamilton
And, of course, the man, the myth, the legend...
"We Don't Talk About Bruno" from Encanto
You can learn a lot about a character and story from what they sing versus what other people sing about them.

I'm going to put on a production and call it 'Bad GRINCH.' It'll be like a normal production of The GRINCH except halfway through the second act the GRINCH will go out into the audience and rob everyone for real. You're not getting that money back and the GRINCH is allowed to pinch you. Should have read the reviews and known to come with no money on you, that's your fault. Give it all to the GRINCH.

You’re A Mean One, Mr. Zach
Hello all, here is the Zach themed Christmas song parody you asked for! You’re a Mean One, Mr. Zach! I had so much fun making this, and I decided to record myself singing it too! RIP my voice after having bronchitis for 2 weeks, lol. I hope you all enjoy, I’m putting the lyrics, with some accompanying Zach screenshots, below the cut because this is a looonnng post!
You're a mean one, Mr. Zach
You really are a brat
You're as cuddly as a skeleton
You're as charming as an snake, Mr. Zach
You're a bad guy with greasy black hair!
You look like a vampire, Mr. Zach
You’re helpless without your Zachbots
Your brain is full of evil schemes
You've got toxic sludge in your soul, Mr. Zach
I would totally touch you with a twenty-two-and-a-half foot pole! Uhhh, just kidding…
FYI: 22 is Zach’s favorite number, so I had to use it!
You're a vile one, Mr. Zach
You exterminated all the termites in your house
You steal inventions from Aviva
You kidnap baby animals, Mr. Zach
Given the choice between the two of you
I'd free the baby animals!
You're a foul one, Mr. Zach
You're a nasty evil jerk
You faint at one speck of filth, yet
Your soul’s full of pollution, Mr. Zach
Three words the Wild Kratts Crew and fandom use to describe you are, and I quote
"Skinny, stealing, sneak!"
You're rotten, Mr. Zach
You're the king of whining
Your heart's in love with tomato soup
Stolen from the Wild Kratts, Mr. Zach
FYI: I intentionally whined at the whining part, lol.
Your soul is focused solely on yourself
It’s overflowing with hatred for the Wild Kratts, the environment, animals, and anything that stands in your way of becoming the world’s greatest inventor…
Even your very own Zachbots that wind up….mangled and tangled by Martin and Chris!
But, if I’m being honest…
You excite me, Mr. Zach
With your evil little schemes
You're a pathetic excuse for a villain
And you drive people insane, Mr. Zach
You're a greedy, manipulative, liar
And a total heartthrob who’s stolen my heart!

Your Rip's Shit, Mr. Grinch
Season 4 Episode 2
Featured on: Neon Lights & Holiday Nights ~ The SiIvaGunner All-Star Winter Festival Collection
Ripped by Brubsby
As the years have gone by, and the SiIvaGunner channel has grow older, we've been given a far more clear insight into how it operates. Back in the earliest days of Season 1 and Season 2, it all felt like a very exclusive, hush-hush project, and a lot of (mostly non-fan) people were seemingly convinced that it was all masterminded by one person. Overtime, the albums and the rippers credited therin have gotten more attention, and events regularly open up to submissions from the community - not to mention the team's openness with interacting with fans through places like Discord or Twitter (or on here!). And for me, part of that mystique gradually peeling away, was also realizing that for every excellent rip the SiIvaGunner team approves and releases, there's likely a dozen mediocre and unrefined rips submitted with little care in their production. And right as I was truly realizing this key part of SiIvaGunner's operation, by the end of Season 4 Episode 2 - I'm met with Your Rip's Shit, Mr. Grinch.
What I find to be the most interesting part about Your Rip's Shit, Mr. Grinch, is how it reflects on fan submissions in more than just one light - most evidently shown by the fact that Brubsby himself was a fan submitter during the time this rip was uploaded. The joke of the rip is immensely simple but very effective - its a parody performance of the original You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch, with lyrics changed to explain the various common ways for a rip submission sucking ass. Yet for as funny as that is in its own right, its framed in an entirely different light when you realize it's a joke told from the outside - not told by SiIvaGunner's core team to make fun of the submissions they receive, but told by a submitter amidst all the rest to point out the flaws in their own little community. That one little change alone creates a new sort of spark of joy from Your Rip's Shit, Mr. Grinch: that the core SiIvaGunner team saw the submission, and found it genuinely hysterical as a critique on the tribulations they themselves were going through.
The ripper of a previously-uploaded You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch rip, KnightOfGames, once commented that he found Your Rip's Shit, Mr. Grinch to be so funny, that he renamed his own rip to be given lesser priority than this new submission. Something about that interaction just really makes me smile - especially when remembering that the rip itself isn't exactly intended to be a perfectly executed work of art. Its vocal performance has similar little snubs and hiccups that I found ever-so-charming in Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday - as performed by Bob Dylan: the performances' added touches of humanity oddly enough make them feel more human and genuine.
And that's not to say its not still a damn good rip - everything from the deep-voiced performance, to references to the far-too-simple mashups of Chip the Ripper, to notes of being off-key and off-sync, makes it an absolutely delightful listen to anyone invested in SiIvaGunner ripping.
