One of my favorite female characters from one of my favorite anime. In her early parts of her story she's just so interesting.

Ok, listen. I got curious and did style swap of these two. These two series are so similar but also slightly on the opposite ends visually and writing wise. Visually, both are stylized but still keep anatomy and references in mind. In writing both are 7+ demographically that are action, dramedies with a mix of urban fantasy and scifi. Gargoyles is a bit more muted in colors (makes sense, they are creatures that turn to stone), pay attention to shading, and curved in line expression. Tonally it is drama first, comedy elements second. Genre it is urban fantasy first with scifi elements. ROTTMNT is more saturated in colors, have minimal to no shading (have bits of extra black inking in the linework) with rim lighting every now and again, and sharper/angular line expression. Tonally it is comedy first, drama elements second. Genre it is scifi first, urban fantasy second. Can you tell animation/comics is one of my special interests? Venus humanized is ADORABLE AS HELL and I LOVE her and if you don't draw more of her I'm going to FUCKING DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad to hear that she looks adorable. Some of the coloring for her clothes was a little tough, but I'm glad it came together well! And yes, she is wearing a bathing suit under her bathing trunks. This girl is ready to run into water!

This joke has made me laugh way too much to be ok. It's a running joke in my head now that this version of Vee has a thing against birds. Two tore her arms off as a hatchling, Steve is jerk, and she keeps losing poker to a bunch of pigeons in the park!

Art request rq, draw a human version of Venus

I've been meaning to draw human versions of these characters.

She would definitely wear swimming shorts all the time (not cause she jumps into any body of water she sees). The flip flops are perfect for her feet to slip in and out of.

Had to draw the rest of the team as humans for reference. Of course Leo would bleach his hair! Would not be surprised if at one point he had a meltdown like Howl from Howl's Moving Castle when he runs out of hair products. Mikey's hair has got some fun orange dye on the under part of his hair just to add some razzle to his dazzle!

I don't know if you're still into Hellboy but I just thought I'd share this idea with you. Instead of Kagome staying in the federal era Inuyasha joins her in the modern world, and at some point they meet Hellboy and Inuyahsa joins the BPRD.

How did you get your hands on my high school fanart?! LOL! Fun Fact: In high school I was so into Hellboy I made fanart of Hellboy, Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate, and Danny Phantom teaming up. And of course Inuyasha was mixed in there!
