Before there was Sonny Eclipse, there was Captian Zzzzyxxx- a security guard at Tokyo Disneyland's version of Star Tours! The character design and molds were reused when his cousin Sonny Eclipse was added to Tomorrowland in 1994- and he's been delighting guests ever since!

I’m low key peeved at Disney trying to say that they’re displaying the “original Haunted Mansion Bride” at D23 when what’s on display is apparently an amalgamation of parts from multiple different eras, none of which may be actually “original”.

And she’s not replicating the LOOK of the original WDW bride either, so she’s not “the original” in that sense either.
