Tbh I just need y'all to see my drawing of Spectre trimming Slayer's nails for 'em. I'm stupid happy with the Voices' narration "boxes". Lil shield is Hero, and Cold is bent in a smile with icicles.
Narrator is disgusted with this use of the Pristine Blade, ofc

What does the mirror represent?
Death.
One interesting thing is that all of the Voices are nervous or fearful when they approach the mirror. All of them have a fear that going near the mirror will be bad for them in some way, even if they’ve been calm and confident up until that point. All of them don’t want to die. The only exception is the Moment of Clarity, where all of the Voices are so exhausted and traumatized that they gladly welcome it as a respite.
By contrast, the Princess’s Vessels all have the same reaction to being claimed by the Shifting Mound; confusion, being tired and feeling cold. Regardless of the Princess’s temperament up until that point, she expresses that same feeling of confused terror and exhaustion.
The ONLY two exceptions to this are the Voice of the Cold and the Spectre, who share a route. Cold says the mirror feels like home, and Spectre says that she’s “where she’s meant to be”. These two are the only ones that find the mirror to be a comfort rather than something to fear. And what’s their commonality? Death.
Cold has no fear of death, seeing it as merely another event that happens, and is the only Vessel to successfully kill the Princess and receive the Narrator’s reward. Hell, in the Moment of Clarity, he’s clearly traumatized like everyone else, but it’s less terrified and more angry, and his reaction to going to the mirror is his “freedom” from all the other Voices.
Spectre has already died, and is perhaps the Vessel with the most straightforward view of death: you killed her, she died, she haunts the place she died, and she can’t leave unless you help her. She might not have even realized the change from Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 were so drastic like a Vessel in any other route might have. She’s already narratively dead, and therefore doesn’t fear what comes next.
Also, Spectre is described as being cold, and the Cold is, well, cold, and the experience of being taken by the Shifting Mound is “cold” as well. There’s a clear association of coldness with death here.
