🔆 Honoring the Sun 🔆

Today I would like to explain some ways in which you can incorporate honoring the sun into your daily routine. All of which are rather low effort, and can be done without contributing too much energy. These are all based on my personal practice, of course.

Honoring the Sun in your daily life:

🔆 Wearing jewelry with depictions of the Sun - a necklace, hair pin, earring, rings, any form of accessory. 🔆 Eating sunflower seeds. 🔆 Putting honey in your drinks instead of sugar. 🔆 Say good morning to the sun whenever you wake up and goodnight to the sun whenever it sets. 🔆 Incorporate the colors brown, orange, yellow, and red into your outfits. 🔆 Wear gold jewelry - doesn't have to be real gold. 🔆 Wear bronze jewelry - doesn't have to be real bronze. 🔆 Wear a veil. Even though the Sun is traditionally masculine, veiling is a good way to protect your scalp while being out in the sun. 🔆 Wear outfits authentic to yourself. 🔆 If you can, pick up gardening. Plants feed on the Sun, and by being outdoors gardening, you can feed off of the sun, too. 🔆 Go for a hike. Or simply go for a walk through your neighborhood. 🔆 Try waking up at sunrise to rise with the Sun. Or go outside and watch the sunset. Not everyone can wake up at the crack of dawn. 🔆 If you can, put your bed near a window facing East so you can wake up to the sun shining in.

It's way too hot and I am way too tired to do any more efforts, so excuse the critical lack of quality here.

And since I'm a huge sucker for angst, my brain immediately thought of developing that idea in order to hurt my beautiful baby boy some more. That and also the fact that my brain immediately looks for logic in the laws of cartoon physics (I really shouldn't do that...)

So I bring you the "Cole is a Ghost Kind-of-Saga". I still have a few more ideas to exploit, notably adressing the ways the other ninjas will help him cope with his new condition :3

🔆 The Sun's Temple 🔆

The Sun welcomes you, dearest traveler, to the Sun's Temple. This is a communal worshipping ground for all Sun-Related Theoi in the Greek Pantheon, and their families, children, lovers, and other related theological figures. We welcome you with open and gracious arms. Mission Statement:

It is my goal to not only honor and worship, but to spread the good name and word of the Theoi this temple honors. It is my duty to provide a safe, inclusive, and knowledgeable environment for those who wish to partake in the Temple, observe and follow the Temple, and, in time, contribute to the Temple. All paths and walks of life are welcome here.

The founder and sole author of the blog is named Rafael. Rafael is an Oracle who is Godspoused to Lord Apollo, and honors him as such. Rafael uses any and all pronouns. He does not claim any clergy titles out of respect and a lack of authority to do so. He, too, welcomes you with open arms.

This temple is also a space for devotees and practitioners to come worship. It is a community space, not limited to my own practice. Please use the submissions page to submit your offerings to our deities. These deities include:

OBSESSED with this qing dynasty short story where two gnc gay guys are deeply in love, but then they’re murdered in a homophobic hate crime, but the townspeople like and respect the gnc gay guys so much they swiftly catch and execute the murderer and build a temple to the murdered men. and the gay guys always do a great job answering wishes and granting prayers, and everyone’s happy until some province-level official comes around and hears about the story of the temple and goes “oh gross. guards, tear that gross temple down.” and that night the two gnc gay guys appear in his room and say “excuse us, you said WE’RE gross? would you say zhou yu and sun ce were gross? would you??? anyways we’d kill you now but we just caught word that your bribery and corruption (which is way grosser than anything we did btw) are about to catch up to you, so we won’t bother.” and then the next day the official orders his guards to rebuild the temple, but his bribery and corruption do catch up to him not long later and he is executed. badly
