Notes: This is meant to be a pre-Marxolor story. Magolor is the first to come around to the idea that he might like Marx, but Marx’s feelings for Magolor are unknown.

The infection begins in the RtDL windmill tree. The Lor’s screen is meant to display warnings, life meters, and a few pictures of Marx and Magolor that Magolor has secreted away in his personal files.

Marx regains consciousness briefly directly after biting Magolor (temporarily losing the heart/parasite eyes) just long enough to realize what’s going on and react with horror.

Will Magolor wake as a zombie? Will he and Marx “unlive” happily ever after? Is a half-decomposed “I luv u” really not that bad...?

Your then fake girlfriend, now fake wifey, crashing the Thanksgiving family celebration at Disney World, where you pretended to be creepy niece-creepy uncle. I am sure your family laughed and laughed at that one

Tried to convince us jump scares were cute beyond brothers and could be easily staged

Also thought it would be fun to hide a misogynistic snuff film behind a dumb chin puppet video

Tried to trick us into thinking being good at Mario Cart was a noteworthy feat, and being bad at it was worthy of derision

Proved Valentine's Day is a joke by releasing a few handfuls of unflattering photos, plus some obvious photshop fails and even 2 or 3 photos that had absolutely nothing to do with the day of forced love. The joke was on you, however, since all that accomplished was to murder so many lady-boners it doomed you to only finding pleasure in your own hands, or perhaps a realistic fleshlight, for the foreseeable future. But you are a big "alone guy" so that should suit you well!

Extending this shameful stunt to the "Ghosted" premiere. That was a double whammy- the little racist, clout chasing twit thinking she was going to walk the red carpet and Ana and Dexter thinking they could save that festering turd of a movie from further embarrassment. Are they still talking to you after that prank?

Orchestrating two ghost kinda ceremonies using only vague descriptions of locations and pictures from family and friends in the vicinity of possible kinda locations, including a very real and special birthday party for a young lady that was probably ruined, but all in the name of a fun manipulation, right? Pepper in some online quotes about getting mentored by RDJ (he's doing a bang up job, by the way), as well as a line in the online version of the disaster of all disaster interviews in GQ, (that if people truly cared, would have put a 5150 hold on you and your dissociated life) and voila! Sham marriage complete.

Continuing with the joke-in-and-of-itself ASP. I mean, having a discussion on antisemitism where your guest chides those who normalize this behavior, just as you shove that poison ring in the camera, symbolizing the unholy union between you and the Nazi wifey. Great job, man!

Almost as good as you wearing the colors of the Nazi flag for your red carpet debut with your charming anti-semetic "bride", fake kisses and all

The best jest, however, was you not even getting to catch up with your more successful friends at the Vanity Fair party because you and that prize woman of yours were shuffled off immediately to the pick up line to be taken home, alone to your fleshlight

But you should be used to not getting into parties. There was the pathetic loitering in front of the CAA and UTA pre-Oscar bashes, but the best prank on yourself had to be the SNL Christmas party, where the wifey recreated the bratty niece look from the first pap walk and you tried to drive a wedge between one of your best friend's marriages (at least Colin has gotten in some good jabs at you on the show), all while the two of you probably were hid away in a dimly lit basement room for 20 minutes, then let out a back door to go home, alone to your fleshlight. And Alec Baldwin and his wife were actually invited. That's gotta hurt!

And just recently being called a "car enthusiast". More subtle than some of your other hoaxes, but still hilarious!

Now I don't know if you signed onto this because of duress or the promise of something great (hopefully not the Gene Kelly movie, because that was never going to fly- that was another trick on you, and even if it was miraculously offered to you, after this, it would not be a good look playing a male chauvinist who preferred young women).

I am sure you have had your fun, but let's hope this time next year you will have long hung up the jester's hat and become a real life boy!

A/N: this is so very different than any other story I’ve posted on here. It’s my very first vingette, and the first time I’ve written something without dialogue. I took inspiration from one of the prompt lists that you’ve reblogged recently. I believe the prompt was ‘the house wasn’t haunted after all. Only the being that crept within the halls’…I changed it up a little bit to fit into the sentence I added it to. I hope it all makes sense too. Enjoy! :)

Arrow House was starting to feel more like a prison each day. The dark, mahogany floors and walls that were once rich and warm now felt like the encasings of a coffin or tomb. (Y/N) felt like they were burying her alive.

(Y/N) met Tommy shortly after everything went to shit with the Shelby family. She came into the Shelby Company Ltd. as someone who could manage the money, since its former treasurers were then behind bars. Along the way, she found herself becoming more and more fond of Tommy. It seemed that he also felt the same way.

She stayed on the board as the company's stand-in treasurer until the rest of the family were released from prison. What she thought would be the last day of association with the Shelbys actually turned into the rest of her life. Tommy asked her to marry him before she was able to leave. They’d be together for just over a year at that point, and the love that was shared between them was almost inseparable. So of course she said ‘yes’.

The years that followed their rather rushed wedding were what could be perfectly described as ‘married bliss’. Charlie loved (Y/N), and quickly took to having her around the home. He was thrilled to have a solid mother figure in his life now that he was at the age where he was making sense of the things around him. The love that Tommy and (Y/N) shared rivaled any that were found in the fairytale books that she’d read to Charlie before bed. She’d even started thinking that she was in some sort of dream.

Things changed though when Tommy accepted his position in Parliament. With the newfound responsibility and power came a temperament shift. It was also around this time that the energy that was felt inside Arrow House shifted drastically. (Y/N) felt like she was being sucked deeper and deeper into a pit of darkness. And it was worse when Tommy was around.

She tried so hard over so many months to figure out what had caused this shift. In the meantime, she and Tommy drifted apart; to the point that she didn’t recognize the person who, hardly ever, slipped into bed with her at night.

It wasn’t until she found Tommy face down in a muddy field with a revolver discarded beside him that she realized the house wasn't haunted after all, and it was instead the beings that crept within the halls.

I stare at the flowers on my counter as the words of the note left with them on my doorstep the night before flows through my mind.

I'm a fucking idiot. I've waited all this time to tell you how much I love you. Happy Valentine's Day.

It was such a simple note, but so loaded.

My secret admirer.

He loves me.

And I know exactly who it is.

I didn't text him back all last night, although from the sound of how much he was drinking, I assumed that he had crashed soon after he found his way back to his apartment. Now, just after ten in the morning on the day after Valentine's Day, I assume he's still out cold. I know his current work-weekend is Tuesday and Wednesday, which makes it a good day for him to be nursing a hangover.

And hopefully not being mad at me.

It's not that I didn't want to text him, to call him, but I wasn't sure what to say. I mean, he was drunk. Sober Azriel would never leave me flowers, would never write a note like that to me. Although a good man, a great man, Azriel hasn't ever been very good at expressing his emotions.

I didn't contact him again last night because I was worried that it was all a drunken hoax, that he was only doing this because of the liquor. I wouldn't get my hopes up, not yet.

I wonder what the damage will be if I pretend that any of this never happened.

I wonder if Azriel will even remember this whole ordeal when he wakes up.

Taking a sip of coffee from my mug, I close my eyes and weigh my options. The only one that truly makes sense is the worst of them all: confront him.

I take another look at the flowers. They are beautiful, even if the combination of roses, tulips, and lilies is an interesting one. With a sigh, I tread to my bedroom and look in the mirror above my dresser. I look as if I got no sleep, which I didn't, but I'm too wound up to take my time getting ready. I glance at the note, which I sat on my dresser last night after reading it a million times.

Azriel's sloppy, drunken handwriting makes me chuckle. Even if he was only acting out of drunken insanity, the thought was nice.

After slipping on a pair of leggings and a sweater, I rub moisturizer on my face and douse my hair in dry shampoo before pulling it into a ponytail. Once my shoes are on, I grab the note and put it in my pocket before grabbing my purse and heading out.

It's a nice day, cold but sunny, and deciding I don't want to wait in the hellacious morning traffic, I walk. Quickly.

Azriel's apartment building is only a few miles from mine, and each step I take has me rethinking what I'm doing. Half of me feels courageous, but the other half has me full of doubt. The last thing I want to do is storm up to Azriel and ruin years of friendship.

But I'm not the one that proclaimed my feelings.

I walk faster.

It's about forty minutes of walking before I finally find my way into Azriel's building, and I regret not getting a ride because now I'm sweaty and breathless. Nonetheless, I hop into the elevator and ride up to Azriel's floor.

When I make it to his door, my fist freezes midway to it. Suddenly, I feel nauseous - excited but simultaneously terrified.

Then, I feel ridiculous.

It's Azriel.

I knock, then I wait. Just when I think to knock again, the door opens, and a groggy Azriel is standing on the other side of the threshold.

He blinks a few times, then his brow furrows. It's clear I woke him up. "Hey, El."

"Hey," I say, slowly, then I'm not really sure what else to say, so I say nothing.

He clears his throat. "Sorry, I'm..."

"Hungover?" I ask, and he chuckles, blushing slightly.

"Yeah." He rubs the back of his neck - a nervous gesture I've always thought is adorable. "Hey, I'm sorry about all my texts..." his words fade and his smile falters. The color quickly drains from his face and I can tell he's getting nervous. "Did you-"

I pull the note from my pocket and hold it up, saving him from the stuttering mess he's becoming. "Get this?"

He hesitates.

"Did you mean it?" I ask, before I can lose the nerve. I'm suddenly aware of how much I need him to answer this, and how much I want the answer to be in my favor.

He hesitates again and my nerves increase. For some reason, tears form in the corners of my eyes, and my embarrassment grows.

I'm mortified.

Well, this is one way to kill a friendship.

"I'm sorry," I breathe, cursing myself as a tear falls down my cheek once it's clear he's not saying a word. "I..." have to go. The final words never leave my mouth, because I'm hurrying back towards the elevator.

I hear him calling my name, but I can't turn to look at him. He'll only see me sobbing like a mess, blubbering like a lovesick girl, which is strange considering this all happened so quickly and I hadn't even realized that I was in love with Azriel.

No. That's a lie.

Of course I did.

I've always known.

Once I'm in the elevator, I quickly press the button to close the doors, but just before they can do so, Azriel hops through them. He's wide-eyed and breathless, his chest heaving, his clothes wrinkled and his hair a mess.

It's oddly endearing.

I wipe at my face, which is surely red as a tomato, and open my mouth to tell him he doesn't have to do this, doesn't have to run after me, doesn't have to try and let me down easy.

But then he kisses me.

It's not a gentle kiss.

He grabs my face in his hands and pulls me toward him, his tongue sliding between my lips, and my body ignites as if I've never been kissed before.

I melt into him, cling to him, his shirt bundled up in my closed fists as I get completely lost in this kiss.

When it breaks, I'm breathing just as heavily as he is, and his forehead rests against mine as he huffs a laugh. "I meant it." He kisses me quickly, softly. "I'm just sorry I told you like that. That's embarrassing as hell."

I laugh, closing my eyes. "Not as embarrassing as marching myself across town, hoping you'll say it wasn't just some drunken joke."

He shakes his head, his nose brushing mine. "I've thought about telling you that so many times, but none of them involved....so much alcohol."

"Well, I'm kind of grateful for the alcohol," I murmur, and kiss him again.

We go on like that, making out in the elevator, until my legs are wrapped around his waist and we reach the ground floor. Then we go back up to his apartment, where we very clearly and soberly express our feelings, which have been bottled up for way too long.

Sc someone found on Reddit claiming it's from a Valentine's Day special and holy shit the memories. I totally forgot about these characters bc I'm pretty sure they were only in this episode. Ik I had suspicions that this show might be a hoax bc like. Ppl have false memories of Polybius, right. But omg. These guys man these guys ah I thought about this episode constantly as a kid. I had the strangest dreams about it

They had the taller person voiced by a guy but their appearance didn't quite match and as a kid I would always wonder what their gender was tbh I still do. So cool they put that on TV. I think it changed my life.

Comparing the love songs Taylor wrote about New York and how important of a location it is to her, like Cornelia Street, False God, Maroon, Coney Island, Daylight, Hoax, Welcome to New York, Delicate, Cardigan

How all of those songs have some of her most beautiful, romantic and heart wrenching lyrics.. how she is 100% talking about a lover who’s New York is as important to them as it is for Taylor, but on the other hand…

She is supposedly living in London with her “boyfriend” and the only song she wrote about London is just her listing some places that a TOURIST would visit, nothing romantic or beautiful or moving about. Places you can simply google. Like she is clearly saying she is only a tourist not a person who lives there.

Also The Lakes, a song about Taylor spending time or going on vacation with her lover to the Lake District, emphasizing that she is only a tourist and not someone who lives in the UK in any way.

Yet, the intimacy she writes about New York with, all the memories and secrets and moments shared on those New York streets and homes….. please how can someone not see that she never left New York? That her partner is a PART of this city and that’s why she is more attached to it and mesmerized by it.

Like in Cornelia Street when she says she rented a place on that street, supposedly with Toe. Taylor started “dating him” in 2016, which is the same time she rented the Cornelia place… but she says in the bridge…

YEARS AGO… and she only date Toe at the time for a couple of months only, even if you wanna stretch it to a year, it still won’t work.

It seems like around 2016 Taylor and Karlie had a very important moment in their relationship, maybe a test, that made them even closer and strengthened their relationship and made them know it’s the end of all the endings.

Warner Bros. has recently dated their all-animated adaptation of THE CAT IN THE HAT... March 6, 2026...

This is the first of their new "Warner Bros. Pictures Animation" initiative, the plan being to have two animated films out every calendar year.

All jokes about this movie possibly being shelved and turned into a tax write-off aside (I don't think any animated movie is safe under the Zas), that's the same day as...

An untitled Pixar movie...

Pixar currently has two animated movies set for 2026, one on this date, and in June. June presumably goes to TOY STORY 5, which is - at this point, per Disney CEO Bob Iger - eyeballing 2026. It being the summer release is a given, I feel. TOY STORY 3 and 4 were June releases in their respective release years, 1 & 2 were Thanksgiving frame releases... Walt Disney Pictures claimed 3/6/2026 first.

Games of chicken in animated movie scheduling are nothing new, in fact... Some high profile animated movies used to open head to head. THE LITTLE MERMAID vs. ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN in 1989, OLIVER & COMPANY vs. THE LAND BEFORE TIME in 1988, A BUG'S LIFE just a few days within release of THE RUGRATS MOVIE in 1998, you get the idea. They don't do that kind of thing now, though... Unless the demographics are wildly different.

But I wonder who blinks. The Pixar movie set for this date is most likely an original movie (it's not "Ducks", that appears to be a hoax), which are playing a different game at the box office these days. Open low (like, say, ELEMENTAL last year w/ $29m) and then leg it out to a solid gross... THE CAT IN THE HAT, on the other hand, is based on a beloved Dr. Seuss book... Which happened to have a live-action version preceding it, which itself was preceded by a half-hour animated TV special...

HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS and THE LORAX.

Those movies opened with $67m and $70m respectively. So, I think CAT IN THE HAT is primed to have a pretty good opening weekend come 2026. That is, if it makes it to the finish line and avoids the dreaded beast at the end of the castle, and makes it out alive.

As for the Pixar original, that's a little trickier to predict. ELEMENTAL was the first original Pixar in theaters following shut-downs in 2020. Its $29m opening is on the higher end of non-sequel animated movies released over the past couple of years, though it was foolishly written off. Legs, of course, came to the rescue. ELIO is the next original, which I think could gross around there. Maybe less, because it's an animated sci-fi story. Could be another case of STRANGE WORLD, TREASURE PLANET, etc. Whatever the 2026 original is, the box office prospects are up in the air...

It all boils down to who blinks.

One of them will have to try out February, maybe around Valentine's Day. Probably the Warner movie. Easter's locked up by the MARIO sequel. Not like February can't work for a family-friendly animated movie, look at THE LEGO MOVIE.

Interestingly, Pixar's been trying to do this 2-a-year every other year thing. 2020 had ONWARD open in March, and if plans worked out, SOUL in June. ONWARD got cut right off by COVID's outbreak, SOUL went straight to Disney+. In 2022, TURNING RED went straight to D+ in March, LIGHTYEAR went to theaters in June. This year was supposed to be that situation, too, with ELIO being out this month being followed by INSIDE OUT 2 in June... But ELIO was delayed all the way back to June 2025.

So maybe 2026 is another one of those situations, where Pixar wants to have two movies out, but ends up rescheduling one of them. I have a feeling TOY STORY 5 stays right in its place, but it's possible that could get delayed to 2027. TOY STORY 3 was once thought to be a 2009 release, and it ended up coming out in 2010. TOY STORY 4? Two delays: From its original summer 2017 slot to summer 2018, to summer 2019.

Plus, this could aaaaall be moot within a few months. Animated movies are always moving forward and backwards.

Worth noting, this wasn't the first time Warner Bros. tried stepping on Disney's toes in one of their major corners. Right now it's with animation, last time... It was with superheroes...

That was when - in mid-2014 - an untitled CAPTAIN AMERICA movie was on the boards for May 6, 2016. A follow-up to the very well-liked CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER... (Side note: I refuse to believe that that was a decade ago. A DECADE.) Continuing on, Warner shockingly moved their BATMAN V. SUPERMAN to that same date. Later in 2014, Marvel revealed that the 2016 CAPTAIN AMERICA threequel was subtitled CIVIL WAR... Eventually, Warner conceded, and moved BATMAN V. SUPERMAN up a few paces, to March 25, 2016.

So, we'll see how this one goes... Or if both of them vacate the premises...
