No one asked but...
Dustradio Split personality Alastor au:
(Continuation from Alistor & Alastor ideas but an actual part this time.)
Angel vividly remembered their first meeting. He had experienced a particularly bad day, and was practically bleeding out on the streets of hell as demons walked past him. He didn't blame them – this was an everyday occurrence, even if not him each time.
He'd glimpsed a blurry red, which the lack of clear sight caused by the lack of blood but he could still hear everything clearly. Especially so since the red had somehow carried him to an alley and began speaking to themself as if having a debate.
There would, though, be 2 apparent different tones. One was clear, loud and somewhat condescending while the other was low, and gentle like a soft breeze.
The kind voice wanted to help, while the loud one would rather watch him bleed out – something like watching him lose hope gradually. But he'd heard everything and in the end the kind voice won, and the red blur got closer.
Angel would like to say he'd blacked out, but he was conscious through the whole thing – he could feel a hand touching him, wrapping around his waist and pulling him up to carry him as the voice would reassure him. It was warmth he never would expect to see in hell.
And when he 'woke up' he woke up to a red deer with a constant smile on his face. He could easily tell this was the loud voice that didn't want to help him but still begrudgingly assisted him with his needs, giving him food and tending to his wounds with harshness.
Then he'd see his demeanour suddenly shift to become kinder, and tender in his touch as he constantly asked Angel if he was okay. And this was ignoring the fact that this guy didn't smile much. It was a complete shift in everything.
It took time, but he eventually learnt the truth and their names. And truthfully, Angel hated Alastor. The smiling demon would always insult Angel at every opportunity, making sure the spider knew that he would've left him to bleed out had it not been for Alistor.
Angel was grateful to Alistor, and grew protective of the innocence he held. This man was someone so kind he put angels to shame, and so bright that the sun itself could not rival him.
But then came the time they'd have to separate; Angel had already healed and Alastor was getting irritated at how much he'd been freeloading.
So they separated, and Angel had soon went under the control of Valentino. Of course it was more of coercion onto an intoxicated spider but it was still a deal nonetheless and Angel was lucky there was a clause in the contract that mentioned only being under him when it came to the studio and nothing else.
And time passed, leading him to be a guest at the Happy Hotel. Angel didn't have much hope for it but he didn't care much – he was getting shelter and that was all that mattered to him.
Then Alastor arrived at the hotel, gave it a new name which even Angel admitted was better than Happy Hotel and barely paid attention to Angel. Of course the spider knew it was either silent treatment from someone who hated him or the smiling demon had just forgotten him. But the pointed remarks he'd make which subtly targeted Angel made him realise it was the former.
So when they were in private, they switched, and Angel finally got to reunite with his dear Alistor.
(Will it stay as a single part? I don't know!)
