#Theo and Liam are each other's anchors

Text
The concept of anchors in teen wolf always fascinated me. Because it’s not the same for everyone. Someone connects to negative emotions, pain, suffering, anger. Someone attaches to happy memories and joy. There are those who connect to mantras, philosophical ideas, and beliefs.
But there are also those who connect to loved ones, because they are something that makes them vulnerable, human. They are those who calm with a heartbeat, gentle voice, those who can reach the deepest parts of the mind with words, whose single presence can pull the shift, anger, impulse and instinct back and make the supernatural being feel at ease.
And when two supernatural beings are each other’s anchors? It means they connect to other not because they are a dose of the humanity they lost, not the reminder of the human part of them, but because they know they can trust each other because other will always have their back.

—here it is, my first thiam fic! if you love idiots in love involving being each others anchors and hoodies, you’ve come to the right place 🖤
rated: t | words: 5.9k | read on ao3
summary:
Mason put his hands out in front of him like he did whenever he was about to go off on a tangent about some new information, Theo readying himself.
“Look, you’re an asshole, genuinely. And I still don’t know if I can ever forgive you for everything you did—but… you were there for him. You were there for Liam when he needed it.” Mason scoffed. “God you two are so dense!”
Before Theo could ask what he meant, Mason threw his hands out with exasperation.
“You’re his anchor dude. Go—ground him, or whatever it is werewolves do.”
He was Liam’s—anchor? It was an idea Theo couldn’t even begin to wrap his head around.
If he thought back on everything, sure, he could see it. But Theo wasn’t good, he wasn’t built to help, to ground. He was only built to destroy. What did Liam need him for anyway?
—or—
Theo picks up on Liam's odd habits, making it his personal mission to keep the beta grounded. It has absolutely nothing to do with him being Liam's anchor

thinking about the way that theo likely has a horrendous relationship with touch and he probably only associates it with pain and bad things and being torn apart and having pieces of himself stripped away little by little and i just wanna vom actually. he’s never known hands that were kind and gentle. he’s never known safety in someone else until liam and i actually am going to flip a table

The wolf heads to the drivers side of the door, which gives Liam mere moments to understand what was about to happen next. Liam averts his gaze in just enough time to give Theo his privacy as he shifts back into his human form. He hears the door open and the soft sound of clothes as Theo got dressed.
“You can open your eyes you prude,” Theo scoffs.
Liam turned hesitantly to face Theo right before rolling his eyes at the other boy. “Ha ha,” Liam mumbles dryly with no humour in his tone. That doesn't matter as it doesn’t deter Theo from grinning from ear to ear at Liam’s discomfort. “I never knew you could fully shift.”
“Well, now you know.” Theo responds lightly, even as Liam’s expression continues to twist into more confusion.
“Where the hell have you been?” Liam asks. Straight to the point. Not Theo’s preferred way of interacting with each other for the first time in almost four months.
“I don’t know Liam,” Theo starts as he shrugs nonchalantly. “Around town?”
Sensing that he would ignore him, Liam continues to his follow up question. “What were you doing in the preserve this late anyway?”
“I should be asking you that question because, what time is it?” Theo starts while dramatically checking his wrist, where there is no watch, for the time. “Look at that, its way past your bedtime little wolf.” For what will definitely not be the last time tonight, Liam rolls his eyes once again at the chimera. “I was going on a run, which I also assume you were doing.” Theo finally responds to Liam’s question.
“Where the hell have you been?” Liam repeats his former question as he stares intensely at Theo. Oh here they go. Theo should have known better than to underestimate Liams persistence.
“Jeez Liam, what’s it with you and interrogating me.” It sounds like a question but Theo doesn’t really expect nor want an answer. “I think I get to ask some questions too,” Theo looks to Liams blood stained palms where he’d punctured the skin there deeply with his claws, though he doesn’t exactly remember when that happened. “I thought you had your wolf under control.” Again, Theo’s doing that thing he usually does where he makes an observation and makes it sound like a question, because he’d have to be a fool not to know that Liam is loosing himself.
For the last few months since they had defeated Monroe at the hospital, Liam’s been... going through it, as Mason would say. After the Anuk-ite and the older members of the pack left, Liam’s been feeling overwhelmed by all the responsibilities he feels that he has to carry. The kind of duties that have frustrated him enough that he had to go for a run in the first place. Hayden left, so now he doesn’t have an anchor, and Scott left so he doesn’t really know what to do with himself or what to do about future supernatural threats in beacon hills in general, and everything is changing way to fast and way too soon and it all just—
“Liam?” Theo’s waving his hand in an attempt to grasp Liam’s attention. “Earth to Liam.”
“Sorry, what were you saying?” Liam shakes his head, trying to clear his mind and rid himself of the worry and stress that had washed over him.
“I said that you need to find a new anchor.” He pauses briefly before adding, “Whatever you’re doing now, clearly isn’t working.”
“Well I didn’t have an anchor for months after Hayden left, so it’s not a big deal.” Liam tries to defend. He’s not exactly sure when it started, but his heart rate and breathing had increased significantly since the two of them were by the truck. Get a grip of yourself, he tries to tell himself.
“I don’t think you should shrug it off just like that, It’s not even a full moon, and you’re already loosing control.”
“Its fine.” I’m fine. Hot air makes its way to his upper lip as Liam tries to regain his composure. The sun, the moon, the truth. That stupid mantra wasn’t shit anyways. He knows it doesn’t work, and he knows it never really did. Maybe Theo’s right. It’s not a thought Liam likes to entertain, but whether he likes it or not, Theo was right about him getting angry when he was scared, so...
“Is it?” Theo taunts with the slightest tilt of his lip as he tries to bite down his amusement. “I only ask because as much as I don’t like you, I know you’d be mortified by the local paper headlines. Teenage boy, a student at beacon hills high, found running naked at night in the—“
A loud crack echoes in Theo’s ears as he feels a sharp pain throbbing in his nose. His head goes all light and dizzy, and he can’t tell if it’s from the force of Liam’s punch at his nose—surprise, surprise, I wonder when this has happened before—or if it’s the whiplash he’d gotten when the momentum from Liam’s arm sent him plummeting to the ground. Either way his face is in absolute agony. Theo’s quite used to being decked in the face, over and over again; he knows he’s an asshole okay. But it’s been a while since he’s fought with anyone, especially someone with superhuman strength that may or may not be stronger than his own.
“What the fuck?!” Theo screams at Liam while his fingers rush towards his nose. He roughly pulls it back into place to allow the bones to heal faster and with less complications. Even with supernatural healing, trying to fix a broken bone by breaking it again so you can set it back properly, hurts like a fucking bitch. Theo is still on the ground, rubbing under his nose to rid his upper lip of the blood that spluttered there just moments ago.
In hindsight, Theo knows he shouldn’t have pushed Liam like he just did. He’d seen all the warning signs, from the rapid movement of his chest as it expands before going back down, and he’d noticed the sour tinge in his scent that appeared in Liams chemosignals when he grew more furious. Maybe Theo deserved to get punched, but one thing was certain; he wasn’t just going to let that slide.
Theo lunges at Liam from his previous position on the ground as he tackles the younger boy. From there, they tussle in the short grass, rolling over one another and trying to get a few hits as they groan and pant, trying to dominate the other and avoid as many bruises and broken bones along the way. Liam shoves at Theo’s throat with his forearm, and with the momentum that gives him, Liam is able to flip them over so that he’s on top and straddling Theo at the hips. He manages to get a solid punch on Theo’s jaw, but his victory is short lived when Theo drags Liam’s head lower and headbutts him strongly enough to hear the crack of Liam’s nose.
They wrestle unceremoniously for a long time, and just like they always fight, there are no rules. Blood trickles down their faces down to their chins, and after fighting for this long, there really isn’t a distinction of whose blood is whose. Neither of them would be willing to admit this to the other, but they both really needed this. Their bickering is no substitute for their drawn fists and clawed hands. Liam wasn’t sure why, but there was something cathartic about his wrestling with Theo. With everyone else he’d previously fought, none of them rivalled him in strength and even if they could, they never fought back. Not Theo. Between them, is an unspoken deal— an understanding more like—where they see each others frustrations and are able to let it all out in a way that they can’t really do with anyone else. No questions after their relentless fighting, and best of all, they don’t ever address it. They just know it.

(Started writing another small bit of a fic. This is part of the first chapter of a new fic I’m currently working on so I hope you like it. Hopefully I finish it soon so I can post the first chapter.)

there's this thing about having anchors or like Anchoring someone that makes me CRAZY and like. i feel like sometimes it doesn't even have to make sense?
like malia and stiles had a very strong bond because, well, they liked each other and stuff. isaac and scott were also very close and scott was the first person that showed isaac some kindness after all the abuse he had gone through.
both stalia and scisaac kind of have the same dynamic (more or less).
BUT THEN YOU HAVE THEO AND LIAM and like of course if you ask me they were ALSO in love but. they were enemies. they weren't supposed to understand each other, to protect each other, theo wasn't meant to be anchoring liam but he still did. because he cared for him and he didn't want liam to feel as bad as he did, to go through the same as hell.
against all odds, liam still found a sense of comfort in theo's voice, theo's heartbeat, theo's scent.

Theo Raeken loved Liam Dunbar while Liam Dunbar could've loved Theo Raeken:
At this point my love for Thiam is evident and I love to think that my headcanons about them are facts but I also love to analyze canon and in my opinion Theo loved Liam while Liam could've loved Theo but we didn't have enough time.
Let me explain:
The first thing is that Theo's sexual orientation is never disclosed in the show but we can analyze what we get. Theo never showed romantic interest for anyone. The only two remotely romantic examples in his scenes are the ones with Malia and Tracey, however those instances were "programed", those were fake interactions impulsed by his -villanous- interests at the time.
Theo, however, seems much more interested whenever he interacts with men (I am not saying that he likes every single man he interacts with, but we can admit that even his expression seemed to change). Still, I don't think Theo felt anything for anyone -other than anger, jealously, etc.- until he met Liam.
In my opinion, yes, at first Theo didn't leave Liam's side because he had the power to send him back to hell but later there's plenty of times where Theo keeps showing even when he doesn't have to.
I have a post dedicated to explain how Season 6 Theo is the "Real Theo" and that Theo is pretty much mesmerized by Liam in many scenes. Evidently, he also feels some type of loyalty towards Liam to the point where he only decides to not leave Beacon Hills until Scott mentions Liam in that phone call.
Not to mention the amount of times where he saves Liam's life and helps him with his IED.
It's never stated explicitly but I think Liam is the first person Theo loved in a very very long time (or maybe the first one, we don't know how his relationship with his family was), wether it was platonic or romantic, Theo had feelings for that boy. I am personally inclined to think that those feelings are not platonic at all given the fact that I firmly believe that Theo might be gay or maybe bisexual with a strong preference for men.
Now, here comes the problem... Liam is a completely different case.
Liam feels resentful towards Theo most of the time and I think his unwillingness to send him back to hell has more to do with the fact that in Season 6 it's hinted that Liam will be the new leader at some point and he has to prove himself.
However, at some point things get much more complex because there's plenty of times where Liam keeps asking Theo for help even when he doesn't really need him. Liam listens to Theo and he knows that Theo is a reliable person -Towards Liam himself only because the rest of the pack never seems to forgive him, not even my sweet boy Mason- and wants to have him fighting by his side. He explains his plans and waits for Theo's opinion -the funny thing is that no matter how dumb Liam acts Theo will help him with his plans and save him if necessary-
And... the biggest point of the analysis on Liam's side is that it's heavily hinted that Theo is Liam's new anchor. Of course they never say it explicitly, but the subtext is too strong to ignore it (it's painfully obvious even). One of the biggest proofs of it is Theo saying "That's progress" when Liam controls himself after seeing him in that scene with Gabe because that line is a direct parallel to Stiles saying "That's progress" to Malia... HIS EX GIRLFRIEND.
I think Liam was not really prepared to accept that Theo was already his ally, his friend -given the fact that they smile at each other, they save each other, etc- and his anchor.
Liam was already feeling some type of affection for Theo by season 6B but it was buried behind the angry and annoyed facade Liam keeps for the entirety of that season.
Liam could've definitely loved Theo back but the show ended too early for Liam to come to terms with his new feelings.
I am choosing to ignore the existence of the Teen wolf movie because it makes Thiam even more tragic. If we consider it canon then it's very likely that Theo never confessed to Liam and Liam, at some point, probably buried his feelings even more until they faded.

Okay, I know I haven't updated in awhile, but I couldn't stop thinking about Theo so I thought I'd try to finish this chapter.
So here's a sneak peek at the next chapter of "I Hear You're Looking For An Anchor"
Also I would really love some feedback. Is it too boring? Too ooc? I think I use too many proper nouns. Should I just stop writing this and work on something else?
Anyway, here's some more human!Theo and Liam being dumb in denial.
"Face of a Killer: LIAM"
“So, they’re burying the bodies. Do you know who’s doing it?” Mason asks as they leave history class. Liam could tell he’d been itching for information since last night. The whole thing feels so surreal. He was worried something big was coming.
Liam shakes his head as they walk down the hall together. “No, Scott’s figuring it out,” he sighs. “He told me not to worry about it.”
“Then don’t. Look, why don’t you come out to Sinema with me tonight?”
“Do you really think a movie night is a good idea right now?” Liam looks at him, conventually concerned, as he dodges out of the way of the rowdy hallway. “What if- what if Scott needs me?”
“Not a movie, a club. It’s the club.” Mason looks at him, holding his hands up excitedly. “It’ll be fun. Hot girls. Hot guys…” Mason trails off as Liam tilts his head and his face takes up one of curiosity. It was like when your ears tingle because somebody was talking about you. Except somebody was actually talking about him. “Liam?”
He shushes Mason as he hears Theo ask Scott, “What’s his deal?” in a faraway voice.
Following the sound, Liam peeks his head around the corner behind a row of lockers. He holds his arm back when Mason tries to look, too. He sees Scott and Theo outside the Biology lab, which was an unusual sight, considering. Why would Theo be talking to Scott? Still trying to get under his good graces, probably. Liam couldn’t help it, he was curious.
“What do you mean?”
Theo sighs, scratching the back of his head. “Do you think I might have a shot with him?”
A shot with whom? Liam? He flinches as Scott lets out a surprising laugh. “Oh! I mean, I don’t know, maybe.”
Theo’s eyes flicker to Liam’s and a cocky smirk covers his face. “You sure about that?” Liam glares at him menacingly.
“You should ask him,” Scott says before leaving.
Liam and Theo’s eyes don’t leave each other’s. Not even when Theo walks past him, still with that half-assed grin and Liam glaring at him like he could pretend to hate him. His eyes soften as they follow his every move until he disappears at the end of the hall. He had to be messing with Liam, right? When Liam turns his head to look at Mason, he’s met with a suspicious grin.
An uncalled for suspicious grin. Liam wasn’t doing anything wrong. He was just looking! Just looking could mean a lot of things, though. Especially in front of Mason’s eyes.
“What?” he asks innocently.
“Mhm, what was that?”
“What was what?” Liam shrugs. There was no avoiding this around Mason, though. He saw the glances between them, if that’s what you want to call it. Liam tried to convey his hatred through his eyes, but felt like he was failing big time. Of course, Mason had to see right through the façade.
“The smiles and the eyes and…” Liam’s eyes widen for a moment before he turns tail the other direction. “You like him!” he hears Mason exclaim behind him.
“Who? Theo?” Liam laughs. “Don’t you think that’s a little crazy?” he asks as they stop at his locker. He dials the lock, “I mean sure, he’s hot but…” Liam stops, staring at the lock in his hand.
But what? He saved Lydia’s life last night. He drove him home, not that he wanted him to. Is there any reason at all that says Liam shouldn’t like Theo? Maybe he wasn’t as bad as Stiles says after all. After last night, he felt like he finally got a glimpse of who Theo really was. He needs to give him some credit. At least he was trying. If Theo is so evil, like Stiles thinks he is, why would he go through all this trouble?
“And you like him!”
Liam sighs, shaking his head and pulling the lock open. “Doesn’t matter. Stiles says he’s bad news and I should stay away.” He places his history book in the back of his locker.
Mason chortles, “Since when do you listen to Stiles?” Liam would’ve replied, something along the lines that Stiles could shove it and he could do whatever he wanted. He grins instead as he sees Stiles standing behind Mason. Based on Liam’s reaction, he knew exactly what had Liam averting his eyes behind him. “He’s right behind me, isn’t he?” Liam chuckles, nodding, and Mason whips around. “Hey man, we were just—”
Stiles isn’t interested, though. He was looking down in the dumps, actually. He looked like he didn’t sleep a wink last night. He pats Mason aside. “Yeah, that’s great Mason. Liam, I need to talk to you.”
After giving each other a look, Mason leaves and Liam shuts his locker door, turning to Stiles. He was concerned about his state and knew it must’ve had to do with Lydia. Everyone knew how he felt about her.
“Hey, how’s Lydia doing?” he questions.
“I don’t know. Last I heard, she was still in surgery. I’m going to go see her this afternoon, though.” Liam nods. “Have you talked to Theo?” Stiles’ voice takes an accusatory turn, making Liam frown.
“Not since he drove me home last night. Why? Did something happen?”
“Actually, yeah. A big something— Wait, you let the enemy drive you home? He knows where you live? Liam, what exactly did he say to you?”
Liam shrugs his hands into his pockets. “Not much.” He raises his eyes, his voice cracking. “He was nice.”
Stiles’ eyebrows reach his hairline as he exclaims, “No, no! Listen to me, Theo is not nice. I was right not to trust him.”
Liam glowers at him. “He saved Lydia’s life last night. Don’t you think it’s time we give him the benefit of the doubt? He’s not the bad guy here.”
“Liam, don’t get me wrong. I am eternally grateful that Lydia is alive, more than anyone. That doesn’t excuse what he did, though.”
Liam sighs, “What did he do?”
“I was going through his medical records and—”
“Stiles, you can’t do that!”
“Well, it’s a good thing that I did because you’ll never believe what I found.”
Liam’s eyes close for a moment as the blaring school bell surrounds them. Ultimately, saving him from this conversation. “I don’t care what you found. It was Theo who saved Lydia. Just… try to have a heart and give him a chance.”
Walking past him, Liam hears Stiles mutter, uselessly, “That’s what I’m trying to tell you.”
Whatever Stiles found, he didn’t care anymore. Stiles can be his own problem. He was done listening to him. He was just searching for answers that weren’t there. Was it so hard to think that Theo was just trying to get through high school like the rest of them?
Liam was passing the library when he heard a distinct heartbeat. It was odd, not like anyone else’s he heard. He couldn’t detect a rhythm or pattern to it. It just was; always at a rushed pace. He planned on using his free period to practice lacrosse, but this seemed more beneficial.
Following the sound of his heartbeat, he finds Theo at the very back of the library. He was in a secluded spot where nobody could see him, hunched over textbooks and notebooks around him. Liam hid partially from view behind a large bookcase. He could see Theo’s furrowed brows pulled together in concentration. His gelled hair was in a disarray. He definitely looked like he needed a break.
Theo didn’t notice him until he’s dropped his bookbag onto the table with a small thunk. He’s startled for a moment before he realizes who it was that disturbed him. For the barest moment, Liam thought Theo looked scared, but it was quickly smoothed into his residential smirk that he always saved for Liam. He wished he wouldn’t look at him like that. It felt fake and impersonal. He wanted to see Theo’s real smile.
Liam sits down in the chair across from him and Theo caps his pen, leaning back in his seat.
“You’re not worried about being seen with me? What would Stiles think?” Liam looks around their vacant little corner pointedly. Theo chuckles, “Point taken. So, have you made your decision?”
Liam was in the middle of pulling his school work out of his bag and pauses when Theo asks this.
“About what?”
Theo dips his head. “Whether you like me?”
Liam scoffs, shaking his head in disbelief. Just because he was sitting with him didn’t mean anything. “You’re lucky I’m even talking to you,” he says, taking his history notes out.
“Oh, I don’t think luck has anything to do with it,” Theo smiles at him smugly.
“It doesn’t matter, anyway.”
“And why’s that?”
Liam grits his teeth. “I have more important things to worry about than whether I’m caught sitting with Theo Raeken.”
Theo frowns, playing with the pen in between his fingers. Liam watches his long fingers twist this way and that. “Stiles still doesn’t trust me?”
Liam’s eyes jump to Theo’s and he replies timidly, “I don’t think so.”
He’d think after saving Lydia from bleeding out on the police station’s floor, Stiles’d be a bit more lenient. He gets Stiles has problems with what happened with the Nogitsune. He has a hard time trusting people, especially ones who get too close to the pack. Like Theo has been trying to do.
Theo leans forward on his elbows. Liam gives him a disgruntled look as he comes closer. “Do you trust me?” Theo asks.
Liam doesn’t know how to react to this. He wasn’t expecting Theo to ask him that. He wants to trust Theo. He could show Stiles how trustworthy Theo really was. Can Liam trust him, though?
“That’s a matter of opinion.”
“Then what’s yours?”
“I think…” Liam looks at Theo, then. Looking into his eyes, he saw something. Something that made him want to trust him. Theo wasn’t the monster here. “I think, what you did for Lydia was very brave and Stiles should be thankful.”
“Is she going to be okay?”
“She will be.”
Next scene will be Liam and Theo at Sinema :)

liam beginning to realize he kinda has a tiny little thing for theo after the ghost riders showdown and being mad at himself for it because why the hell did his stupid brain decide to settle on theo of all people— and at first he tries to write it off as a byproduct of him having to get over hayden so fast due to all of the life-or-death situations being thrown their way, and really doesn’t it make sense he’d attach his emotions to theo since they went through half of them together? plus his feelings towards theo have always been sort of intense in a different sort of way, so maybe there is a reason for him to be reacting like this. but he still feels stupid, because how is he supposed to explain to mason or anyone else that he not only has a thing for the guy who he’s supposed to hate forever and never trust again, he has a thing for theo that he’s 99% sure isn’t even reciprocated, because it’s theo. theo, who has threatened to throw liam under the proverbial bus more times than he can count (which is what made the whole being-the-bait thing so confusing). theo, who once almost tricked liam into killing someone as part of his plan to kill liam himself. theo, who is older and smarter and brutally blunt despite his past dishonesties, which makes the idea of him ever finding out about liam’s feelings even more terrifying than any of the things they’ve fought against together. theo is theo. he’s contained and calculating where liam is explosive and prone to impulsivity whenever someone isn’t around to hold him back (and lately, that’s been theo more often times than not, which is once again confusing as hell). liam knows he’s always worn his heart on his sleeve, but theo keeps his own emotions carefully tucked away. they’re opposites in so many obvious ways, but liam also can’t help noticing that they still make a pretty good team, and he doesn’t think it only applies to fighting. a word like anchor is too big to use while things are so confusing and crush feels too childish considering how fast they’ve both had to grow up, but partner… liam can live with partner. partners in crime, partners in a fight— and maybe one day partners in more ways. maybe. liam is still mad at himself for how he feels, but there’s hope there too. he’s 99% sure theo doesn’t like him back, but there’s still that 1% leftover from the fact that theo has stuck around town to save his ass and seems to have an unspoken plan to do it again no matter what insults they throw at each other out loud.
and as mad as he may be at himself for letting theo’s presence mean so much, liam is going to let him.

seven sentence sunday
tagged by beautiful mutuals 🥰 @maplesyrizzup and @thiamsxbitch
very early wip for my nalett (nolan x alec x brett) so here's seven sentence of bullet points
• Alec is originally from Bogota, Columbia but Scott finds him in L.A. freshly bitten and moves him into Melissa’s guest bedroom • With the older part of the pack hunting Monroe or at school, Brett is asked to help Alec center himself by finding an anchor and assisting on full moons. Brett agrees to be on Liam’s good side (and because Theo is still working with Liam for full moons) and begins to hang with Alec and work through his new transformation. They spend full moons running around the Preserve and Brett teaches him Satomi’s mantra, The Sun, The Moon, The Truth. • Once Alec’s scared and skiddy personality thaws away with time, Brett learns that Alec has the same dark humor as he does and they both love working out. • The summer after Brett’s senior year, Brett and Alec end up at the same bonfire and end up down each other’s pants just beyond the tree line. That whole summer Brett and Alec keep fooling around for fun, but as fall is in full force, filled with fooling around and hanging out nearly every day, Brett and Alec start dating officially.

Theo and Liam danced under the moonlight, just the two of them, with music playing from their phone speaker. In a darkened road, on the outskirts of Beacon Hills. No one would disturb them, they could just be two lovers that bathed in the moon’s cold blue light. Looking at each other with the most sincerity, and the trust of each others hearts. Two anchors intertwined, love in the fullest. They danced under every full moon, for the rest of their lives.

recently I got asked why I ship thiam. the short and sweet of it is that I'm gay so I'm right
but I think the actual answer is more that they save each other
not only in a literal way with like the ghost riders and stuff, but also in more impactful, emotional and metaphorical ways.
Theo being Liam's anchor and never judging him for his anger ESPECIALLY at the zoo with Nolan
and before that with Liam literally giving Theo a second chance by pulling him out of Kira's prison and choosing trust him

“What is wrong with you?” Liam’s voice called out as Theo lay in the bed of his truck, staring up into one of the lampposts in the hospital parking lot.
“Nothing and everything.”
Liam grabbed the edge of the truck bed and hefted himself up. He landed almost two inches away from Theo’s throbbing leg. “Why are you so dramatic? I literally just wanted to know why you thought it was a brilliant idea to walk out of a hospital with bullet holes all over?” ~ ~ ~ ~ Theo learns how to want himself as Liam makes himself a part of Theo's emotional journey through sheer annoyance.

Thiam and morey
Also for @greencanary084 since they also asked
When I started shipping them: when @veetlegeuse told me to watch how Theo looked at Liam in s6
My thoughts: Theo fell first but there was definitely *something* there with Liam before canon ended. Also they’re anchors
What makes me happy about them: they save each other and THE WAY THEY LOOK AT EAXH OTHER
What makes me sad about them: lots of things hfjfjfj but they’re mostly fanon
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: people make theo kinda a weakling or they vilify Scott. Also the heavy scalia or sterek in it
Things I look for in fanfic: established relationship, slow burn, AU, hurt/comfort
My wishlist: fhfjfjfj I HAVE TOO NANY UDEAS
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Liam- Mason, Theo- idk? No one in canon that’s for certain
My happily ever after for them: they’re living together with dream jobs and a dog and a cat and just
Morey:
When I started shipping them: I don’t even remember
My th oughts: I think they’re just cute and adorable
What makes me happy about them: they’re cute and like adorable
What makes me sad about them: MOVIE THE MOVIE THE FUCKING MOVIE
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I haven’t read anything ab morey that’s annoyed me
Things I look for in fanfic: n/a
My wishlist: for neither of them to kick the bucket in the movie
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Mason: Danny, Corey: Josh if he were alive
My happily ever after for them: married in a house with three kids and many animals
