On Monday we had a special bilingual (ENG/ESP) stream. We watched the VOD of the first ever Latin American Games Showcase (LAGS) as I was accepted to be an official co-streamer. And then we played two of the demos available, being Tiny Witch and Nova Lands: Emilia's Mission. I regrettably have not had the time or motivation for art…or much of anything recently. The past year has been interesting to say the least. And probably one of the more difficult times I’ve had. I’m trying to make 2023 a better year, so I decided to try and make an art prompt game. Spare some R facts if its not too much to ask?? I love them so much. They have bewitched me. You had me at sad jester😭 per the headcanons, I imagine my MC Adrien begging carter for some kind of therapet as a kid for when other people's thoughts get too loud and overwhelming. Just an anxiety dog for her to hone in on in social situations to filter out the noise. Also she looks SO intimidating and actively tries to cultivate this 'scary, do not engage, i bite' image when in reality she's the biggest DORK alive. Can't handle arguments without crying. Thinks of a witty comeback 2 hours later and practices conversations beforehand in the mirror when she thinks carter isn't home. Girlfailure final boss i love her

Aww, I'm so glad you like R and I love your MC. I can totally see Carter caving and getting MC a pet, especially there was any chance that a pet would help keep MC stable.

As for a few facts about R,

R was definitely the first person Carter contacted when MC showed him their powers. I imagine R wanted to meet MC ages ago only to get their head bitten off by an over protective Carter. But he's got a reason to be overprotective and R would find it hilarious, so no hard feelings.

Actually I can see "Get them a pet" being R's first piece of advice for Carter. Which Carter wouldn't want to hear but guess who's still going to the animal shelter the first thing the next morning?

R is very well-read and has studied a lot of esoteric, dead magics for fun and profit. They're sort of a multi-disciplined freelancer. Kind of part private detective, part bounty hunter, part researcher.

They are also not totally human.

And maybe a little based off another blonde, emotional disaster.

pretty obvious why hassan makes me so emotional considering hes from a timeperiod in which i had questioned and acted on suicidal ideations a lot, didnt have a lot goin on healthy in my head, so having someone who has the same kind of issues with the ideations and the social disconnect and the poor coping and the everyrthing, admittedly did a lot for me. like he idk. people say dnd is therapetic and that shit is true. wasnt in therapy, didnt talk to people, not a lot of social circles to lean on, i didnt like talking abt mental shit either. just kind of felt completely alone in that time period so. idk seein hassan was like. Oh you get it. oh i see you. Yeah man this does fucking hurt. living hurts. and hassan did a lot for me and he still really does, cant ever do enough to owe it up to him as a character. hes always gonna be the closest to my heart i think. id like to think he gets better as i do

Since I've been playing video games lately, I think England would probably play a couple of games. It was offered as a suggestion to him and since North Ireland plays video games, England asked him what sorts he should get and naturally he decided to play on a PC (upgrading his work laptop basically so he could answer emails and stuff while also be able to have games downloaded), and his favoured games are the Elder Scrolls (yes, I am projecting, shut up, SHUT UP) as well as Elden Ring - which he doesn't play as often because he'll curse. Most of his favourite games are strategy based games such as Civillisation and Age Of Empires in-which he tends to get somewhat carried away with strategy and thinking things out. He always plays as 'England' or 'Britain' if that's the only option he has, maybe sometimes he'll play as a different nation but always him. He also likes RPG games such as the aforementioed Elder Scrolls even if he has a few things to say about their amour. Basically, Medieval Fantasy. They let him pass the time and he somehow finds it quite therapetic (yes, Elden Ring. Therupetic. Not.) particularly to listen to their sound-tracks and just focus on the one thing he's really good at.

He absolutely randomly calls North whenever there is a bug and North will sometimes add mods to Skyrim mostly cos he knows England cannot be trusted with anything technology whatsoever. Mostly it's 'realistic mods' cos England constantly rants about how improper the armours are and why the fuck can he not joust on the horse? it's bullshit, North, why can I not joust on the horse? why is there giant spiders chasing me? North, help me, why am I being chased by giant spiders and not French Soldiers, I was expecting realism-

Currently reading: So much fanfic. My favourite at the moment is a VegasPete AU Fic called Devour by @unlikelychildchaos It’s fucking phenomenal I’ve been inhaling it like it’s the oxygen I need to live.

Last songs: Loads of Stray Kids lately, Thunderous, Side effects, God’s Menu and Back Door are on hard repeat. Also Mommae because I can’t get Build shaking his little but to that song out of my head o.o ALSO been listening to the Buildurmood playlist from our favourite sweetheart Build Jakapan!! (same hat @jb-blue63!!!!)

Last series: In my 1275438th rewatch of Kinnporsche. Terminal brainrot for real. Also have been watching Cutie Pie and My Engineer again. (Love me some Perth.) Also started watching Hell is Other People again because I love Lee Dong Wook forever.

Last movie: Akira!!!! My best friend and I watch a movie or two every Sunday together over discord. (He lives in the US I’m in Australia.) Today we did Lethal weapon, which is a silly movie, and then Akira. Definitely one of my all time favourite movies.

Currently working on: WRITING MY VEGASPETE SMUT in which Vegas gets some much needed TheraPete ;) I don’t really use twitter except to follow BoC and the Kinnporsche cast updates and so that I know when Perth is streaming on youtube or twitch.
