So I accidentally made a Tsams oc/au while making Canaryverse (original oc thing) lore and I’m sharing it to distract myself from what the fuck has been happening in the show for the past week.
Basically I was trying to come up with Canary Voidlings and one thought I had was “Pre-Kill code sentience/Lunar and Moon separation Moon and Lunar end up in the void after a portal glitch and slowly fade into the void as they’re unable to get back, and eventually, what remains pops up in the ball pit in their universe as a Voidling.”
Tumblr media
Their name is Ice, because of Ice Moon’s (full moons during January, which are also called Wolf Moon’s and Old Moon’s), mentally their about 4 or 5 and they remember nothing from being Moon, Lunar or Kill Code (who did gain sentience while in the void…but wasn’t around for long because they were stuck in the void), and no one knows that they were those three.
If you have any questions I’ll probably answer them!

Three households in one to introduce, all linked to Etan: her cousin Kira, her adopted children Lydia and Demetrius, and her two pathmates London and Abraxius. Intros to each sim below the cut.
Kira (black hair, red tunic, in the middle of the back row) is Etan's younger cousin, the only living child of former headwoman Abina - who is now a member of the Court of Belyala, the Nuidya ancestor pantheon. Unlike her mother, Kira has been an entitled diva so far, expecting her mi-Avira blood to let her get away with slacking off; however, now that her daughter has been named as Etan's heir, she's beginning to see the potential in this parenthood thing. Only took her thirteen starbands.
Tamivadila (black hair, wolf ears, blue tunic) is one of Kira's voidling alpha twins. Despite their strong magical heritage, Kira herself showed very little interest in being there for them. Tami responded by becoming loud, assertive and stubborn, but she is also something of a philosopher, and is working with Etan to build a fairer system for all Nuidya, not just mi-Aviras.
Rarovokis (black hair, wolf ears, green tunic) is Tami's twin brother, and shares her high intelligence. Unlike her, he is quiet and tries to stay out of the spotlight; he is very close to Tami, though, and she's always backed him up. As a son of the line of Avira, he knows he'll probably never have children of his own (can you be de-spiritbound?) but he still longs to start a more loving family than he had.
Abraxius (grey hair, brown tunic) is one of Etan's two pathmates, and out of the two, he's the bigger schemer. An archmage of the Pink tradition, he has no qualms about using his magic to get his way. Many Nuidya still don't trust him, since his arrival in Kulo Sena was marked by an attempt at cursing the burial grounds - luckily for him, Etan is a sucker for flattery.
London (blond hair, yellow tunic) is Etan's other pathmate, and has been with her significantly longer. He's a former boxer, unusually strong for a male of Juvash. He did once get kicked out for starting a drunken brawl with Etan herself, but they made up later... another reason why Etan is stepping down.
Lydia (red hair, red tunic) is one of a pair of twins adopted by Etan and London in the coastal city where they once lived. She's the elder of the two, and there's been some debate over whether she counts as "a descendant of the line of Avira" for succession purposes. Lydia herself isn't interested in leading the tribe regardless, preferring to just get on with her art projects.
Demetrius (red hair, brown tunic) is Lydia's brother. At one point, he was named as Etan's heir, but refused to accept the position - which his pathmate Tetali has mixed feelings about. He is also an artistic type, and enjoys crafting things.
Miak (black hair, black tunic) is Lydia's son with her pathmate Keru. He vanished into the Spirit World for a while as a child, returning days later at the age of nineteen starbands. He claims he can't remember what happened while he was away, but he has noticed that he gets a lot more admirers now than he expected - so he's more than willing o play up the spirit mystique to get attention.

Conflicting Lives Island and Districts
Hi! This is an explanation of the Island that Conflicting Lives takes place in!
Warning! This may change slightly over time as I further develop the story of Conflicting Lives! This is still a new project, especially now more than every, so as I think further about certain areas of my story, some aspects may be slightly tweaks!
Esempy
Esempy is the name of the island where Conflicting Lives takes place. It is split up into 5 separate districts, each based on a Minecraft SMP and group of MCYTs. These districts are Hermiton, Survas, Empyria, Wynnra, and Drimas.
Hermiton
Hermiton is the district of Esempy based off of Hermitcraft and the Hermits. All of the characters that live in Hermiton are either only on Hermitcraft(in comparison to the other SMPs on this list), or were on Hermitcraft before any other SMP. Xisumavoid, Bdouble0100, GoodtimeswithScar, ImpulseSV, Joehills, Zedaph, and Keralis are all part of the Hermiton Hero District, With Xisuma(Voidling) as the Head and Bdubs(Spore) as the Second in Command. Impulse(iWork) is the healer of the district as he had studied medicine and healing magic profusely to help his friends and coworkers with any injuries they may endure. The role of the other heroes will be revealed as each character sheet comes out! Docm77, MumboJumbo, Stressmonster, TangoTek and GoodtimeswithScar are all Hermiton Villains, causing chaos and mischief wherever they may be. Doc(G.OA.T.) is one of the two most powerful villains in all of Esempy, and the strongest villain in Hermiton. He and The Blood God control virtually all villainous activity, instructing others to go on missions against the Hero Districts. Scar is a special case, as he is both a Hero and a Villain of Hermiton, but more of his story shall be revealed with his character sheet! Hermiton is the most advanced of all the Districts in terms of technology, often selling their tech to other districts to fund further technological research and advancement. Their buildings are also the most modern in terms of architecture and design, and walking the streets of Hermiton can oftentimes feel like a fever dream with how much there is to see around every corner. The terrain of Hermiton is relatively flat, with large hills/mini mountains dotting the landscape, making some areas hard to navigate. Hermiton is also the centermost district on Esempy, landlocked with no direct access to the sea surrounding the Island, except for a medium-sized river that crosses over the Survas District border.
Survas
Survas is based on 2 different minecraft servers, one far more known than the other. These two servers are The Life Series server, and Project:SSC. The characters that live in Survas either first appear in the life series before another server, or were placed here because I felt that they fit in Suras better than the other Districts. The Life series is a bit self-explanatory, but Project:SSC is a modded superflat survival server that I play on with friends which was made by one of them and is their passion project. It’s been so fun and absolutely amazing to play on this server over the 2 seasons it has, and I would recommend checking it out here! (https://ssc-info.carrd.co) Hira, Skizz, and Scythe are the three heroes of Survas, and are also among the strongest heroes as well. Hira(Atlas) is the head of the Survan Hero District, though initially they didn't want to. SKizz(Archangel) is the second-in-command as Scythe is too young to be that large of a position, even if he is stronger than most heroes out of training so recently. Rendog, Martyn, and Scythe are all Survan Villains, with Etho and Hira(RevvlChai) being Vigilantes. Rendog(Red WInter) is a very powerful villain, but not quite on the same level as G.O.A.T. or THe Blood God are, although he is still well-respected nonetheless. Etho(Argentum) is among one of the most powerful vigilantes, escaping capture multiple times from both heroes and villains alike.  Survas is just under Drimas in terms of technological advancement, often preferring a more simple way of life without large and fancy tools, relying on the handiness and comfort of handcrafted tools and weapons, especially those of which coming from a local provider. Survas is the least populated of the districts due to its odd terrain, but those who do live there know their neighbors well. Everyone knows the best bakery or crafts place in town, and regulars are everywhere you go. Survas is the district with the most variation in terrain; it has rivers and streams flowing throughout its entire area, many of which split out into other districts before returning to the ocean. Most of the areas are flat, but the areas of Survan that are the farthest inwards are much more hilly and elevated then the rest, with a mildly dense forest covering most of the area, spare for about 100 meters from the coastline.
Empyria
Empyria is based off of EmpiresSMP. The characters that live in Empyria are EmpiresSMP members, and were likely part of this server before any of the other servers on this list. All of the EmpiresSMP members are included in this list, even ones I myself have never watched, so please forgive any mistakes I make with how most of these characters act. Fwip, Joel Smallishbeans, Katherine, Pixlriffs, MythicalSausage and Smajor are all Heroes in Conflicting Lives. Fwip(Tinkerer) is the head of the Empyrian Hero District, with Pix(Guardian) as his second-in-command. Sausage(Protector) is the main support of the Empyrian Heroes, and more will be revealed about his abilities later in the story and in his character sheet! Joel Smallishbeans, Joey, OwengeJuice, Pearlescentmoon, and Smajor are all Empyrian Villains, with GeminiTay and Jimmy Solidarity as vigilantes. Joel(Tanuki) and Smajor(Chroma) do both lead double lives, but manage it very well thanks to their respective partners and support systems. Empyria is the second most advanced District in terms of technological advancement. Thanks to the close relationship Empyria has with Hermiton, Empyria gets almost every single new piece of technology, shorting out at the most advanced weaponry. Tinkerer is both the head of the Empyrian District and a Weapons Developer for his heroes, so even if he cannot get the weapons that Hermiton makes themselves, he is able to use his status and connections to get the materials and make powerful weapons himself. Empyria is the District of Esempy with the most land area, though also the most land unoccupied. This is due to the extremely hilly and borderline mountainous terrain on the eastern side of the Esempy island. The best places to live and  build in Empyria is inland, as the largest of the hills/mountains dot about the coast, making trips there difficult for those unfamiliar with the terrain it holds.
Wynnra
Wynnra is based off of Wynncraft. The characters that live in Wynnra are mainly considered to be dangerous or at the very least unpredictable species. In short, these characters have grown up in a harsh environment, gaining more street smarts than people who have grown up in other districts have. Grian is here because well, he was one of the people that made Wynncraft, so it kind of fits in my eyes. Grian, Hypnotizd, and Iskall85 are the known heroes in Wynnra. Grian(CuteGuy) is the head of the Wynnran Hero District, with Hypno(Sting) as his second-in-command. Iskall(Cybernetic) makes weapons for the others, often using them to help his fellow heroes get out of any sticky situation they may find themselves in. ZombieCleo, Grian and Sam are Wynnran Villains, with Lunaris being a vigilante. Grian(Xelqua) is both a villain and the hero district head, but he keeps his work strictly separate, often going to the other side of Esempy to Survas before doing any sort of villain activities as to not draw attention to himself. Cleo(Wildfire) is an extremely strong villain and well respected by others due to her power and strength, similar to how The Red King is. Wynnra is the farthest behind of the other districts in terms of technological advancements. They have transport of very old models and methods, but oddly enough, they don't mind and even prefer it that way for the most part. Trying to help out in any situation where a District like Hermiton needs all available heroes can be a little difficult sometimes due to the difference in available technology, but that never stops them from doing what they can to help anyways. Wynnra is the southernmost District of Esempy and has a very flat landscape, with small patches of trees and foliage scattered everywhere. The coastline is dotted with fishing towns and boat docks, and Wynnra profits a lot off of this fishery trade to the other Districts.
Drimas
Drimas is the District of Esempy based off of DSMP. All of the characters that live in Drimas are from DSMP, though not all content creators that have been on the server are in Conflicting Lives. This is for various reasons that I will not go into, but the creators that do have a character in Drimas are characters that I enjoyed watching while the server was still active, and still sometimes watch now. Philza, JackManifold, Nihachu, and Eret are all heroes in the Driman Hero District, with Eret(Strawberry) as the district head and Niki(Sirenade) as the second in command. Sirenade is also the Drimas Hero District main support and healer, as being part fairy allows her to heal most all injuries her team receives. The others roles as heroes will be released as their character sheets come out! Technoblade and Philza are both Driman Villain, Tommy Tubbo and Ranboo being Vigilantes. Technoblade(The Blood God) is one of the two most powerful villains in all of Esempy, with Philza(The Angel of Death) as his right-hand man. The Bench trio mostly stay on their own, but sometimes appear on the same scenes as some minor villains do Drimas is somewhere in the middle of all 5 Districts in terms of technological advancements. They aren't really near Hermiton’s level of technology, but are also not as old-fashioned as Wynnra is, so to say. Buildings in Drimas have a sort of business-casual feel to them, seeming professional and thought out, yet relaxed and welcoming at the same time. Drimas is the Westmost district of Empyria with a very hilly landscape and densely forested areas in non-populated areas. There is a smaller-than-average river running through it from Survas in the north and out into the ocean along the western coast.

psstt check out the stuff under the cut there’s more art and it’s pretty cool stuff if i do say so myself
Hi so I’ve been meaning to draw anons, like for fun and my enrichment (<- i really like drawing things for people i like) and uh that sketching session I had like three days did net me a lot of terrible awful rough sketches I could work off of, so i kinda just bit the bullet and started doing shit. so uh yeah that’s why there’s bonus drawings this go around for the blogiversary! There’s 2 more bonus drawings on the way btw!! I just did not have the spoons (or the ability to keep my joints normal enough) to be drawing long enough everyday to finish four full drawings from scratch with multiple characters in each, so the other two will be posted in the next few daysish hopefully…
sorry to anyone not included in one of these/in the other two I did try my best to remember as many of our frequent askers as possible but a lot of the anons who haven’t been chatting recently kinda just got buried by the qsmp folks lol…. speaking of the qsmp yall are pretty much the reason there’s group drawings and not just all silly doodles like the one with me and Vale (<- which i technically drew last month and could’ve posted at literally anytime but shh that doesn’t matter). I mean group drawings are not easy either but fucking hell you guys are three drawings all on your own…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had to try so hard not to ask you guys what you looked like since I wanted this to be a surprise and since I just made up designs for the most parts here's who's in the bonuses!

Trick or treat! 🦇 🎃 🦇
happy halloween voidling!!
i know you're familiar with some of my OCs (and your love of them makes me so happy 🥰) but would you like to meet Flower?? Murderbot and Three run into it on a mission with ART's crew, still (for now) governed, and having a Bad Time
---
The damaged SecUnit on the floor twitched again, and one of its hands moved towards me. I said, “Don’t make me shoot you again.” It prodded at my feed. I let it establish a connection. It sent, Query: Unit Status? That was standard communication, but not something you generally asked the hostile SecUnit that had just pummeled you into near-inoperability. I couldn’t figure out what it was asking for. When I didn’t answer, it pulled Three into our connection and pinged again. Query: Unit Status? Then it sent us its analysis of our actions and communications, which were practically all flagged as anomalous. Three said, Yes, we’re rogue. Oh, so that was what it was asking. It sat there processing Three’s answer for 15 seconds, which was a really long time for something so simple. Maybe it was coming up with tactics based on the new information, but that seemed pretty optimistic when all it could do was lie on the floor leaking. Just when I had decided our conversation was apparently over, the SecUnit pinged us again. Query: Request Assistance I looked at Three. Three looked at me. In our private connection, I said, It’s asking for my hack. Three sent an affirmative. It had come to the same conclusion. What should we do? …It’s already damaged, it’s not like it can try to hurt us. I concur with your assessment, Three said, and dropped my governor module hack into the Unit’s feed. It applied it almost immediately. It shuddered a little and closed its eyes. I figured it was going to be a while before it wanted to talk, so I asked Three, “Now will you help me get up?” Seth pinged us. We’re coming to your location. Three ignored the fact that pretty soon I was going to need to get up and move back to the shuttle and I couldn’t do that myself, at least not without looking utterly ridiculous. It was still focused on the Unit. In our shared feed it said, We can leave you here, or you can come with us. Which do you prefer? This time it answered with its buffer, like it was talking to a client who was asking confusing questions. I do not have that information. It was a bit early to be asking it for things like preferences, but I guess we were doing this. I said, Do you like your clients? Do you like working here? Query: Request Clarification Are they the really bad kind of clients, or the kind that aren’t so bad, or the good kind? Query: Request Clarification of: “the good kind” Yeah, I hadn’t known they existed, either. Three said, Our clients are good clients. They care about our well-being and treat us with respect. It opened its eyes and looked at us. It clearly didn’t believe Three.

Wow, really didn't expect that angel post to gain as much traction as it did! Y'all really like what I've got to say, huh?
Well in response to all of your much-appreciated support, here's some more lore, starting off with the three distinct subclasses of sentient beings: The Fae, The Terrestrial, and The Cosmic.
The easiest way to distinguish between these groups is in the level of soul/body connection, and the presence of magical energies as a naturally occuring byproduct of that body. First, the Fae, which includes not only fairies elves and goblins, but also centaurs, mermaids, & vampires. In these beings, the mind body and soul are completely separate, closed systems, with the mind being logical hardwired code informing chemical processes* and the soul in its fixed state acting to facilitate exhanges between external energy and the physical form. Again in contrast to the popular mythos, Fae actually produce no magical energies of their own, but are constantly taking in and channeling the output of their surroundings, often to great effect (for example, traditional Vampiric songcasting). How this soul setup relates to afterlives is somewhat difficult to understand for non-fae, but suffice to say that changing the body doesn't necessarily affect the mind.
Next up we have the Terrestrials, the group which humans and most varieties of beastmen belong to. This is the happy medium, with a mind & soul so interlinked as to basically be the same thing, and that interlink causing production of energies which then flow into and are processed by the body. Normally this is just used to keep things running, but with proper training and the right tools one's energies can be safely concentrated and channeled to useful effect (similar tools are used by fae casters in many cases, but there they act as the vital ignition key rather than the unjumbling & translating methods of Terrestrial ports.)
And finally, Cosmics. The one which I'm sure you've been dying to hear me speak about. Gods, angels, demons, and a questionable level of the Voidlings (we'll get to them later). If Fae are mostly grounded physicality with little to no magic in them, a Cosmic is the complete opposite. Roughly 80-100% of a Cosmic's body is made of raw magical energy- we're all soul & mind. That doesn't mean we can't have a grounded body though, although for some the process may easier than others. Gods such as myself project a portion of our energies into hard-light pseudo-physical bodies, whereas angels & demons "lock" their entire selves into walking, talking forms. These can come in many types° though a characteristic indication of the Angel is their "halo", an aura of barely contained energies. Be very careful around the presence of angels, or any Cosmic unlocking and focusing their magic, as they are essentially extremely radioactive during that phase. Also, for those wondering, chief among the reasons a Cosmic strives for order are A. being designed that way by and for the purposes of one's Host, and B. the spastic chaotic nature of being a thing which on some levels is fundamentally incompatible with reality makes a need for structure in all other forms absolutely necessary and desirable. Again, demons typically have this managed a lot better, but even they're sort of just to the left of being allowed to exist.
Right, that's all I have for now! This was quite exhausting to type up in ways that Terrestrial minds might understand, but hopefully I've succeeded! Stay tuned for more when I have the "energy"!
*this is in no way an indication that mental plasticity is nonexistent for Fae. It just requires a lot more effort and programming knowledge.
°they're also, anatomically speaking, complete bullshit. Gonna have fun explaining that one in a way that makes sense.

Note
you mentioned dorman as one of your characters someone might consider a mary sue but what exactly is he i know youve posted about him before
Okay, but this is going to be long because there's a lot of context required to understand exactly what Dorman is lol
Dorman is the first-born son of Arthur Pendragon and Merlin (yes this is canon in the novel lol), so when he was born he was mostly just a normal human child.
Now in my lore, Merlin is a true immortal (meaning, arguably, nothing can kill him and he will survive The Fall of the Universe) and his soul is literally made of magic; he was just born this way and no one knows why. Anomalies are a pretty big theme in these books lol.
Arthur has a Perpetually Pure soul, which just means no actions he takes in life will cause his soul to become tainted, and he, ultimately, has a kind, and caring personality, so he's not likely to willingly do anything that would taint his soul anyway. Arthur was the first Perpetually Pure soul born in Beauty's Universe (the current one).
Now, Dorman wasn't born out of love or anything, although Arthur and Merlin do get together later on in the books and have three more children, but that's a whole different post. The details haven't exactly been worked out, but a small group of the Main Cast do end up getting captured by Um'Qua, a secondary Antagonist and Embodiment of Limbo (basically the Ghost King), who gets his kicks out of torturing people (this is also a common character arch-type in the books, just to varying degrees lol) and is dangerously obsessed with Mieliaru (we'll get to her).
Anyway, long story short, Um'Qua forces Arthur and Merlin to have sex, Merlin becomes pregnant, and Dorman is born, all within Um'Qua's captivity. There comes a point during their captivity where Merlin (or Arthur, it may be Arthur, actually) says something that really pisses Um'Qua off, and he retaliates by snapping infant Dorman's neck.
Overcome with grief, Merlin is at risk of a Magical Fallout (basically popping from emotional duress), so Mieliaru, who is Merlin's 74 billion-year-old Dragon Mount, emerges from where she hides around Merlin's spirit and breathes life back into Dorman, but at a price; Dorman is no longer human.
They don't learn the true extent of what Mie has done (Mie knows, but Mie's English is shaky at best and doesn't know how to explain it) until months later when the children are much older (the magical influence in the group causes the children to age rapidly until around 16 where they slow down. This is explained in the books), when Dorman and Tetsuya get kidnapped by a Trafficker named Malik, who has a Perpetually Tainted soul.
Dorman is sassy, stubborn, and mouthy like his parents, and Malik ends up poisoning him with something called The Dragon's Bane, which is a flower Tebius (main antagonist) created, and it is capable of killing even Voidlings by attacking the soul at it's core. This trauma causes Dorman's Altered Soul to awaken in defence of the Poison, and Dorman becomes more powerful than a Voidling, but basically loses all ability to feel.
Drakaerys (Cosmic Entity of Power and Creator of the First Universe) birthed Mieliaru as it exists by accident. They never meant to create something more powerful than them, let alone something that could create things more powerful than them, but Cosmic Entities oopsing and creating things more powerful than they are is also a common theme. Limitless power means on occasion you accidentally fart out a nuke lol Sakura's (Cosmic Entity of Beauty) nuke was Tebius, Drakaerys' nuke was Mieliaru; the Dragon's Bane and the Altered are the Fallout from those nukes.
So long story short, Dorman is Altered. That's it. He's was just revived wrong. It just so happens that he was revived wrong by the Oldest living non-Voidling creature in existence who happens to be more powerful than the Cosmic Entity of Power. He is literally running on a tiny piece of Mieliaru's Soul.

The fact that she had been yanked out of the sky was enough to make her angry. The fact that she had been dragged down by a dog's maw from the ankle? Blindingly so. But the fact that she had been TOUCHED by something as unpure and defiling as a Darkin when she was about to land the killing blow to a voidling had awaken a rage inside her the likes of which the angel didn't think possible. "YOU DARE?!" She turned around in a split second, her wings causing the air around them to snap and crackle as it was filled with righteous anger and heavenly light, and she forgot completely the target that was now behind her, instead raising her sword. "YOU. DARE!?" In a swing a wave of holy fire shot out of her blade, moving towards Naafiri, with enough force and speed to carbonize five of the mutts from the pack.
Tumblr media
That Voidling was theirs! It had been burrowing far too close to Naafiri's own burrow, which had prompted the Darkin to chase it away from the heart of their territory and further up into the desert. No matter how far the blackened beast ran, Naafiri had struck it with a curse, making it leave a trail of blood from a wound, which refused to close, and yet it also refused to bleed the creature dry.
And now, up in the sky hovered an angelic-looking Aspect, which dared to attempt to take the kill from them. Without any hesitation, the main body had leapt into the air and snatched the angel by the thigh before slamming them down onto the ground with so much vigour, that the gesture should have stunned any lesser being.
Yipping and howling, three of the dune hounds rushed over the Aspect, paws slamming into its stomach and claws scraping against his face. However, none of them targeted the creature below them. Instead, they charged the Voidling from all sides and slammed bladed skulls into its sides, making it bleed more putrid blood. The Voidling screeched in pain and fury and slashed at the animals.
Naafiri let go of the leg. The Aspect whirled around, the massive, snow-white wings caused the air to crackle with energy. As she roared at Naafiri, proclaiming how the Darkin dared to touch her, the blood curdled inside the main body. Disdainful whispers flitted through its ears. Only an Aspect and an Ascended would be so arrogant that they chose to believe the world revolved around them. Yet the only world, which needed them, was a world of societies. Societies, which were prone to failure. Naafiri had seen it.
Tumblr media
The moment the blade sent a wave of blazing fire their way, Naafiri let out an ominous howl and a shield, dripping and wet, shimmering like blood, wove its way around the main body and reinforcing most of the packmates. It allowed them to withstand the severe heat of that magical blast, however, five of their dogs died in the inferno, burned down to a crisp. Naafiri lowered the main body's head and yellow, pupilless eyes locked onto the Aspect.
Alright. Our turn.
The Darkin blades around the dune hound's neck rattled ominiously. The blood thrummed in Naafiri's ear. A thrill, going far beyond an animal's desire to kill for its food. Hemomancy did not just corrupt someone's blood. It infused it with sentience and hunger, which were hard to grasp for a non-Darkin. Naafiri was not just all the dune hounds, she was the very blood coursing through each and every one of their veins.
Naafiri jumped up into the air and with a twist of the main body, hurled a Darkin dagger right at the Aspect. It lodged itself into the angel's shoulder blade, penetrating her armour and causing perfused bleeding. Immediately, five of the still surviving pack mates came rushing at the Aspect. They snapped around any exposed flesh, they could get their fangs on. Naafiri flung a second dagger, which upon penetrating where the first one had struck, caused a spray fountain of blood to rain down upon the field.
@chaotick-musings cont. from here.

Slim began respectfully returning the angels' bodies to their tombs, and once Fea had collected herself somewhat, she helped him. But they left Gabriel out, as Fea wanted to have him resurrected, if possible. The group considered their options for that, and settled on Avi doing the ritual, as he is a high-level cleric. Kattie messaged him and he said "yassss." Meanwhile, Valor tied up Honor, clearly very upset.
Tumblr media
Calypso, feeling restless, offered to beat up Honor and to piss on Aphaeleon's grave, but was declined on both. The group decided to split up, with Fea, Calypso, and Kattie teleporting to Aegis to rez Gabriel, and Valor and Slim staying to meet up with Beldyr (as previously arranged) in Elyseum. Not to mention Valor madam general-ing in the absence of Celestia's leader.
Upon arrival in Aegis, Fea began to hustle toward the Institute, even as Calypso suggested wrapping Gabriel's body in her fabrics to be less noticeable. They hurried to Avi's office at the Institute, and after the three ladies pooled together their gold to pay for the materials required for the Resurrection spell, Avi revived Gabriel in the hallway. Gabriel awoke, in his natural angelic form, exhausted... but alive.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fea gently greeted her brother, and introduced him to Calypso, who wished him a good morning. Gabriel was briefly overcome with war flashbacks of Knutt, and agreed to be carried to the bathhouse to get cleaned up and relax a little. On the way there, Kattie asked Gabriel about dying and what he could tell them about the dragons and Erutan, and Gabriel managed to put up his glamor that made him look more humanoid.
With some difficulty Gabriel did recall that Erutan existed long ago and was brutally attacked by the Abyss-- to the point that the entire continent was effectively erased from history itself. It was for that reason that Gabriel felt as though he were peering through fog to remember these things. He also said that Erutan was where the more animal-like peoples like tabaxi and aarkocra originate from, and that the other realms' Champions were chosen just before the Abyss assaulted Erutan. Afterward the four of them enjoyed a warm bath, during which Calypso lightly harassed Egg for his beef (haha pun) with Slim.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile in Elyseum, Valor arranged for her brother to be locked up for his close association with Aphaeleon. Slim accompanied her, mainly for moral support, and then they retired for a well-deserved rest. Back in Aegis, Calypso messaged Elise about meeting up the next day at Billie's shop to discuss the current situation. That night, the goils and Gabriel ate at Pasta and Pajamas. Fea more or less fed a still very weak Gabriel, and Calypso excitedly encouraged Fea to eat her first full meal since becoming a voidling. Fea was rather apprehensive about the lasagna presented to her, and felt weird about eating in general. After not feeling or eating for 300 years, Fea had a lot to get used to.
The next morning, something was... off. The air outside was still in the total absence of a breeze, as if the whole living world were holding its breath. Overhead, it appeared that birds were flocking south-- all animals seemed to be running for cover or seemed otherwise ill at ease. Kattie cast Sending to Slim and confirmed that the things were unusual all the way in Celestia as well. Gabriel was unnerved by the air, saying magic was everywhere, acting very out of the ordinary. Team Aegis met up with Elise and Heidi (and Teacup) at Heroic Inventions, and (after Calypso cast Zone of Truth, just in case) asked Elise about what she could recall about Erutan. Not only did Elise not remember the place, she couldn't even understand its name, not when it was spoken, nor when it was written. Kattie cast Dispel Magic on Elise... and then Elise could remember. There was almost certainly a cover up job here...
Really though, Elise had only heard tales of Erutan and didn't know much about it personally, being from Calamity. Fea then asked about the last time Elise had seen Billie, and Elise claimed she had not visited the Infernal Champion in their shop recently. This, coupled with the fact that Heidi had not been with Elise when Billie disappeared, made the group suspect that it had not been Elise, but rather someone disguised to look like her in order to get close to Billie.
Tumblr media
At Kattie's falter of trust, Fea vouched for Elise, having known her since she emerged from the sands of Avlas. Calypso remembered that the Infernal Champion themself had warned that that Crackle dragon could been shapeshifting as anyone. Elise pointed out that most dragons usually keep a lower profile, often in Calamity, and Calypso said that she'd be much more of a menace if she were a dragon, just for fun. Heidi seemed to share some of this sentiment (my man). Fea also said something about her lil noggin, which her tiefling found very adorable.
Team Celestia met up with Beldyr, who quickly gathered that Valor was very upset. She hugged Valor within an inch of her life and picked her up and carried her into the palace. 😳 Beldyr said that she had caught scent of the Crackle, and it seemed they were on the move. It seemed a good time to get the party all back together, so Slim, Valor, and Beldyr all teleported to Aegis. Now fully regrouped, the party took some time to go over their information and Theorize.
To review: Erutan was defeated and erased from history by the Abyss. Multiple people (notably, dragons and a royal angel) have been somehow magically made to barely, or not at all, recall Erutan's very existence. Aphaeleon was resurrected by someone and motivated to betray his siblings, and he was instigating Acheron-like contracts to further control the populace of Celestia. The party noted Asmodeus as a suspicious figure that may be involved somehow, not just due to the contracts, but also the fact that Acheron had not experienced any upheaval or trouble specifically while the rest of the world had-- the White Lady had abducted people from Acheron, but that was about it. Aaaaand Asmodeus had been confirmed to have the power to modify the memories of people en masse, as seen with Corrin's lack of a legacy. 👀
Suspecting other players in this game of 4D chess, the party sought out more info from Slim's daughter. As they recalled, Teresa had remained next to a cloaked figure while the party was fighting Daniel, and the figure had done something magical with a page of paper just before Daniel was defeated. So Slim teleported to Norsum and after being greeted by Maria, who is awesome, went to speak privately with Teresa. The girl was cagey at first, having been encouraged to be that way, but she admitted that the person that had been with her was Mara, a familiar water genasi. ‼️ Mara had apparently taken care of Teresa, and the girl insisted that no one hurt Mara-- starting with "Auntie Calypso." Slim said he'd request Calypso not lay a hand on Mara, but Teresa said that badasses don't make requests, they make demands-- so it was demanded that Calypso wouldn't hurt Mara-- nor anyone else in the party. Or else, Teresa would never talk to them again!! Slim later returned to Aegis to relay what he had learned.
Tumblr media
While Slim was gone, the group took Beldyr to Avi so he could dispel the magic that was blocking her memories (might as well start calling him Dr. Avi). Beldyr then was able to recall that she had been a member of the Erutan royal guard, and had been sent to fight on the war front against the abyss by the king of her land. There had been a group of younger dragons sent to do the same, but Beldyr was caught in a trap before she could save them. She had served the Bastren line-- the king and queen Norred and Hera, and their heiress, Anastasia.
Tumblr media
With Slim revealing that Mara had been associating somehow with Daniel, the group realized that the Duong family seemed to be rather connected to a lot of things that had been happening in the past couple of years. Mara had shown up on their behalf to clean up after the White Lady tomfoolery, and she had been going to Harmonce while it was still shut off from the rest of the world. Not to mention that Beldyr had been imprisoned beneath the Duongs' estate. Kattie sent a message to Mara, asking to meet up with her at Levin's cat cafe in Gilsa so they could discuss the situation with Luna and Valor (and naturally her deception roll was through the roof. Bards.) But Mara said she was busy and did not want to be bothered with the former relationship.
The next morning, Fea and Calypso were first to go outside for their usual routine, and noted that things were even more weird than before. The sky had turned black and the world was in grayscale... and now there was some sort of funnel cloud-looking form in the sky to the north. Slim got a chance to go "what the fuck" at the situation, then Calypso hurried inside to get the rest of the group. When she pounded on their doors and shouted "shit's weird, get out here," she was greeted by a very naked and hung Beldyr. Once everyone was outside, they teleported off to Avlas to locate the source of the thing in the sky.
The origin of the chaos was north of Avlas, near Ibera's northernmost shore. There was a figure standing by the shore, before a dispersed ocean and barren sea floor, clearly manipulating massive amounts of magic. What appeared to be happening was... land was forming from the cloud in the sky, slowly sprouting swaths of forest and erupting into mountains. The person wore a bracelet bearing four colorful beads, and all over their skin were multicolored cracks, shining with Champion magic. As they turned to see the Breakfast Club watching them, the group realized it was Ana, former Heroes' Guild secretary.
Tumblr media
Ana warned the group not to try and stop what she was doing, as she wasn't sure what crazy shit might happen if that much raw power were to be disrupted. But she was open to conversation. Naturally, the group's first inquiry was: what the fuck was she doing?
Tumblr media
In short, Ana was harnessing the power of all four Champions to bring back the lost continent of Erutan. She had been nursing a thousand year-long grudge against the other leaders of the realms for not helping her defeat the Abyss while it was eating Erutan alive. The other lands had not offered their assistance to her when she asked for help, and as a result of the Abyss's victory, Ana had been buried alive underground for something like 1300 years, spent digging herself up and out of the soil. She said no one could ever understand how that would feel, and Calypso casually pointed out that Fea probably had an idea.
Fea stepped forward and reached for Ana gently, offering compassion and understanding for her plight. Ana was bent on bringing back Erutan as it was before the war wrecked it and getting revenge on the world leaders (Ana also held distaste for the Champions of her time, but compared to her they were all newly chosen and held little power at the time). And, honestly, the party could sympathize with her. Fea knew what it was like to be trapped in darkness for an unimaginably long time; everyone knew what was it was like to lack faith and favor for those in power.
Tumblr media
The main problem the group found with Ana's plan was that... she didn't seem to have much of a plan. The group pointed out that innocent people would probably get hurt in the crossfire if Ana started a new war, but also that she didn't seem to have answers for what would happen after her revenge quest. Calypso wondered if Ana was the doer, and she had someone else behind the scenes helping her, and that person was the ideas guy/brains of the operation. Ana agreed with this but refused to reveal who she was working with. Ana also claimed the Champions would be released after she was done using their power, which, depending on when that happened, would bring into question if the Champions would try to stop her. The Infernal Champion, at least, would be sympathetic to Ana's feelings, but she probably wouldn't just allow Ana to kill Asmodeus. And the Feywild Champion certainly wouldn't stand by and let her take out Titania, their mother.
And so the party actually seriously considered Ana's motives and plans, legitimately hearing her out. The other shoe never dropped-- she had some good points and could be reasoned with. Maybe instead of killing everyone, maybe the other realms could give Erutan reparations, for example. But then the lost continent finished forming and sat completed in the ocean, and Ana collapsed and reverted to her dragon form. She said (in Draconic) that she needed to go to Draconia to heal but the party could seek an audience with her for further discussion. Slim attempted to heal her himself, as her scales were flaking off and she looked worse for wear, but his ability had no effect on her. Ana then flew off, leaving the party with much to think about.

Hello Tom o////
Etho's told me lots about the chats they've had on this blog :D - Nemesis
Let it be known this is the most excited Nemesis has ever been. Idk what powers you guys possess but congrats!
Also, a very funny occurrence (which was part of the reason Nemesis grew really impatient to meet you guys), was that we found out a few days ago that we have 4 Etho fictives. None of which are even vaguely canon compliant. Oh yeah Nemesis is part of this squad
Blame Etho for somehow forgetting that we didn't know about those three :/ /lh
(the others are named Guide and Stars, they'll probably show up at some point since we probably cannot only have one memeber of the Etho Squad at one time, there mut always be at least two) - Sparrow
- Voidling Not!Anon (btw, you can still refer to us as Voidling, since we have a very hard time telling ourselves apart unless the others jump in to say something, so Voidling works as a name all of us like!)
OK GOTCHA :)
HELLO NICE TO MEET YOU ALL!!!!! THE LINGS.
anyway i love you guys for that but not enough ethos, we need more /j

“Voidlings are beings born from the remnants of those who fade away in the void, though most parts of them have faded, some of what’s left will come together to create these beings, which will stay in the void for an indeterminate amount of time (seeing as time doesn’t happen in the void), before appearing in a different dimension, typically one where one of the voidling’s remnants used to reside.”
Tumblr media
“Voidlings had sharp pupils, typically white but some other colors such as green or blue have been seen. Their limbs tend to fade from their skin color to pitch black, mostly due to Voidburn their predecessors had to endure before they faded. They’re one of the few creatures that could travel The Void without getting stuck and consumed within its inky abyss, since they’re already a part of the void, it won’t try to take them. Despite past tense many of them still exist, some are still even children, since time varies between dimensions, so while one dimension may have been receiving Canary Voidlings for years, another may have only recently started seeing Canary Voidlings. The reason they could travel The Void safely before and not now however…is because of The Canary. It’s advised for any voidling to not enter The Void, as they will more than likely not leave, and if they need to, they should keep their eyes closed, even if it only prevents one way of becoming trapped.”
Tumblr media
“After what many have called ‘The Canary’s Hatching’, Canary Voidlings aren’t much different from their older counterparts much, save for their eyes, which have much different pupils, triangular and tending to go from shades of Yellow or orange, though other colors have been observed, they’re much more infrequent. Once more ages for Canary Voidlings tend to vary, and most of them have ended up in what has been dubbed “The Coal Mine” (despite its name it isn’t actually a mine), so it’s hard to say if there are any adult Canary Voidlings so far, since only 1/3 of Canary Voidlings end up exiting the void (such as in the above Photo, as of the three, only Ice is not a resident of The Coal Mine). If one appears in your dimension, contact a Dimension Keeper so that we can observe anything that may help with current investigations on the Void.”
“There have also been three…unique cases of Voidlings since The Canary’s hatching.”
Tumblr media
“Unlike the Regular Voidlings and Canary Voidlings, these three don’t have a specific term for them, and only one is regularly observed outside the Void (The Cardholders) so it’s difficult to say why they’re the way they are, the only thing that even makes them Voidlings is that they are made partially of Void, rather than remnants of people consumed by the void. All three also seem to have direct contact with The Canary, as evidenced by contact made with The Cardholders. If any information is found on the three or if you see one of them, contact The Dimension Keepers, and don’t interact with them, as they’ll likely either lead you to The Canary or run off.”
“I can’t say much more, and research has been rather…difficult, but any information is good information, and I hope this will keep people informed on the current happenings in our Multiverse.”
- Head Dimension Keeper, The Doctor
(I’m very open for questions about any of my oc lore)

you know, I think it's really funny that one of the most popular ships within the newsies fandom is spot and racer. which were the closest thing I got to an older brother and my could-have-been boyfriend respectively.
Idk I just think that it's funny with how that worked out
hmmm if I ever stop missing racer so much I'll tell you guys about Spot because he was really funny - Voidling Anon

SO. how the Kingdom worked in my Voidling timeline.
Basically you ahd all the canon towns and kingdoms on Earthbread, but at the center of it all was a kingdom that I don't think had a name, so we just called it the Kingdom.
It's the stand in for the kingdom you build in game, and it was bascially a place to go if you were escaping the war. If you had nothing left, if you needed to escape, if you just wanted a break from your birthplace, the Kingdom was right there. And after the war, it kept exisiting as it did, acting as a place for others to start anew if they were outcasted by the rest of the kingdoms.
There were a bunch of 'districts', each one themed around a specific biome (like a wintery area or a remake of Dragon's Valley) or preeixiting kingdom (like the Hollyberry Kingdom or the City of Wizards). There were also some nonthemed areas. There was a large beach which held a bunch of events, offshoots of the three 'main' schools as well as schools for those who wanted something different, there was a large marketplace somewhere as well.
As for the canon cookies, they ended up there for several reasons. Sparkling had the juice bar, the TCC champions ran away from their schools, Stardust and Space Doughnut wanted to learn how to live, Crunchy Chip and Wildberry needed a break from their respective kingdom, etc. I also think most of the cookies of darkness ended up there as well after the war, trying to heal and fix their mistakes.
It was a really nice place :]
I actually have one specific memory: I couldn't sleep and had recently arrived in the Kingdom. at some point before I ended up there, I had spent a long time in a cold and empty environment, and as hard as it was, I missed that. So, I wandered over to the winter kingdom area, and just kinda sat there watching the snow fall onto the trees filled with lanterns.
So yeah, honestly this is just something I've been trying to figure out for a couple months and it's fun to talk about :D - Voidling Anon
oooo I know nothing about cookei run but that sounds cool :]
