chapter 9/Loop 37: died on the altar waiting for the proof
Chapters: 9/? Fandom: A Court of Thorns and Roses Series - Sarah J. Maas Rating: Explicit Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Feyre Archeron/Rhysand Characters: Feyre Archeron, Rhysand (A Court of Thorns and Roses), Tamlin (A Court of Thorns and Roses), Amarantha (A Court of Thorns and Roses) Additional Tags: Temporary Character Death, Under the Mountain - Freeform, Time Loop, Time Travel, Angst, Romance, Smut, Implied/Referenced Rape/Non-con, Blood and Violence Summary:
Every day, Rhysand wakes up next to Amarantha in her bed Under the Mountain. A prisoner, a weapon, a High Lord on a leash. He's been down there so long, it's starting to feel like time doesn't matter.
Until one day, it doesn't.
Feyre's death sends Rhysand back in time, waking up on the same day - over and over. Now, Rhysand must discover how to break the time loop, save his mate, and keep his sanity intact.
A "round robin" style fanfiction with different authors. This work is meant to be read from beginning to end, but each chapter is written by a different author with their own spin on the time loop prompt.
I am THRILLED to post this at last, it's been so much fun to write, and I adore being a part of this group of insanely talented writers and creators @feysand-hivemind. My eternal thanks to @popjunkie42 for all her help, and to @rosanna-writer for her betaing help!

Some ideas for my darry time-loop fic !!
(it's cut off in case you'd wanna read it without knowing anything)
Spoilers for the fic below the cut
-It's a two day loop. 😃 The first day is when Ponyboy hangs out with Dallas and Johnny, and the second day is well, the second day after that.
-Darry almost feels the urge to slap him just one time loop in, (He tried to stop Pony from going to hangout all together but he sneaks out anyways)
-There is no moral to be earned from this, it just happens.
-First few days focus on stopping the jumping from happening, so he finds out as much information as possible
-Eventually, he realises all he needs to do is give a ride home (or something, haven't figured it out yet) and tries having some fun
-He starts using the two days to hang out with everyone, and try to get closer to them. This gives him a sense of control, knowing this much about everyone. Maybe a sign he's getting worse in the timeloop?
-Once, Steve and Johnny seperatedly mentioned their dad's and Darry just realises "why not" and goes to beat them up, Gets shot by Johnny's father. Wakes up in the next time loop day.
-The previous experience makes him experiment with death a couple times, but the only thing it does it just make him go to the morning again, so he finds it useless to do at some point. (he also considers how maybe there's different versions of the world, and how there might now universes where his brothers are now alone because he's dead)
-I'm not planning to give anyone else memories of this, maybe there'd be a few times where darry tells them what's happening but no one realises there's a timeloop going on
-There's A LOT else I can add in the timeloop story, and if anyone has ideas, I wouldn't mind listening!!!
-At some point he figures out a way for the day to be "perfect" and keeps repeating that day. He repeats it over and over, feeling a sense of calm that he can predict everything, stop anything bad from happening, in a way he praises himself for "stopping it singlehandedly"
-then time goes without him realising onw day.
and now he doesn't know what to do.

Imagine you’re in the “using-my-god-like-powers-of-precognition-to-prove-I’m-in-a-time-loop” stage of a time-loop and you stick out your arm to catch a tray of falling dishes but you fuck up the timing a little bit so it completely looks like you intentionally tripped that waitress and now Gary the truck driver’s bacon and eggs (side of hash browns, go easy on the salt and a dash of vinegar on the eggs please) are all over your true love’s face so not only do you look crazy but also like you’re kind of an asshole and you’re embarrassed as fuck because even in a time-loop there’s a first time for everything but you’re not that worried because nobody else is going to remember it when the loop resets but then you wake up the next morning and the alt-rock radio host isn’t playing “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons and it turns out half-elbowing that part-timer in the gut was the thing that broke the loop and now you have to go back to work where you know you’re going to run into the woman who rejected your heartfelt confession because messing up that tray-catch meant that no matter how much weirdly specific information you had about her personal life she still didn’t believe you were in a time-loop.

The Liminal Escape - Title: The Liminal Escape (on Wattpad)
Read Here!
In the bustling streets of New York City, our protagonist becomes haunted by the eerie sight of a mysterious young girl with red ribbons in her braids, appearing and vanishing like a ghost. Driven by a relentless curiosity and an inexplicable connection, they pursue her through the crowded avenues and into the depths of the city's underground. This chase leads to a hidden world-a forgotten, flooded labyrinth beneath the city, where time stands still and reality blurs. Trapped in this uncanny liminal space, they encounter Bill, a weary man who reveals the chilling truth: escape is only possible through an ancient laptop, but only one person can leave each day by entering a series of meaningful, unlucky numbers from their past. Haunted by memories of near-drowning and loss, the protagonist must confront their deepest fears and regrets to unlock the numbers that hold the key to freedom. With the weight of past mistakes pressing down, they race against time to find the combination that will lead them back to the surface before the shadows of the liminal space close in forever. Will they decipher the code and escape, or will they become another forgotten soul, lost in the depths? The Liminal Escape is a gripping tale of mystery, fear, and redemption that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Source Code (2011) - Film Review and Analysis
“What would you do if you knew you had less than one minute to live?” Christina asks. Colter Stevens replies, “I’d make those seconds count.” In a reality that shatters and rebuilds every eight minutes, how do you make seconds count? Duncan Jones’s Source Code isn’t just a high-octane thriller; it’s a dizzying plunge into the very nature of existence, asking whether a borrowed eight minutes can…

Well, the good news is that you've broken the time loop.
The bad news is that the reason you've broken the time loop is because whatever force was responsible for maintaining it looked at the shit you did on that particular iteration and thought to itself: "you know what would be really fucked up?"

It is November of 1893. You have just killed a vampire. Exhausted and worn, you close your eyes and rest.
You wake up. It is May of 1893. You are on a train en route to Transylvania. Your diary says you have had queer dreams lately.
You try to believe it.
(An old woman puts a rosary in your hands. You accept it without question.)
You are a guest in a castle you have never been in before (you recognize every hallway and know without trying that every door is locked). Your host is a man you have never met before (you killed him you killed him you killed him he had turned to dust and there was blood on the snow).
One morning you cut yourself while shaving.
There is nobody behind you in the pocket mirror’s reflection.
You turn fast, and the razor is like a Kukri knife in your hand.

every time I read a new time-loop book, I remind my friends of my code incase I'm stuck in one, but then I wonder.. because like what if the day I tell them is the time-loop day?? I wake up in the same day and realise that they won't remember the code because I said it in the og time-loop day

enough about the timeloop I wanna hear about the post-timeloop.
person who just got over the horror of being trapped and settled into a comfortable routine...but then the timeloop breaks and they struggle to reacclimatize. person trapped in a loop for years who grieved their loved ones—who are suddenly back and acting like nothing happened (because for them nothing did). teenager who aged physically and mentally during the timeloop and now they're so much older than they're supposed to be. random strangers who were trapped in a loop together relieved to get away from each other at last, but feeling oddly bereft of familiar company. service worker who is pissed as fuck to have to go back to work
