Imagine it’s movie night on the aircraft carrier and they’ve got this new movie that just came out called Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. And it’s a decent movie like the flyboys are loving it and Maverick is loving it and Ice isn’t hating it, but then it all goes to shit.

Cameron resonates with Ice a little bit because his dad was gone all the time on business trips too and Ice was also afraid of breathing wrong out of fear for his father’s wrath. He was totally on Cameron’s side of course, he knew this whole plan of Ferris’ was not going to end well but it’s just a movie, right? But then he feels the fear creeping up a little because the miles aren’t decreasing when they rewound the odometer and Cameron’s dad is going to be so pissed when he finally gets home. Then the car crashes through the window and Ice’s breathing stutters for a sec because oh god Cameron is so seriously dead. There is no coming back from that.

But then Cameron decides to stand up to father! Ice envy’s the strength Cameron has to do such a thing because Ice wasn’t sure he’d come out of that conversation alive. He wants to see this work out for Cameron, he wants to see this kid get out from under the oppressive shadow of his father.

And then the movie is over. That’s it. No follow up. And Ice hates that. Hates that he doesn’t get to see Cameron get his happily ever after. No reassurance everything turned out alright for him. The lack of resolution sits heavy in Ics’s stomach as his mind begins to fill in the gaps. There invisible oppression of his own father remains looming overhead.

11 halloween couples’ costumes (alternate universe) miles and alex would/should wear

- han solo and luke skywalker: alex and his perfect hair would be han and miles with his big eyes would be luke with little maxie as chewbacca being a necessity obviously.

- 70s era lennon and mccartney: despite miles’ love of lennon, he would be mccartney with a terrible mullet wig and the famed strawberry macca jacket while alex would have the classic lennon nyc look.

- brokeback mountain: alex would be ennis and miles would be jack and that’s that. max would be their little sheep to herd.

- freddie mercury and rogerina from the i want to break free music video: this one would be so fun, i would pay so much to see miles parading around as freddie and alex as rogerina chewing gum. alex would take a bit of convincing from miles but then would have a few drinks and be so into it the whole night.

- butch cassidy and the sundance kid: i feel like they’ve both gone through a phase of being really into this film and could see either of them being both characters.

- tom and greg from succession: i would be surprised if alex hasn’t watched succession and even though he may be a bit more like kendall if i’m being honest i think he’d enjoy being tom for a night and having miles as his greg. this is definitely a last minute costume and miles would just go along with it bc alex thought it was funny and he said that max could be tom’s dog, mondale.

- dr no and james bond: alex would finally get to live out his bond villain dream! and miles would be a fab sean connery

- iceman and maverick from top gun: no man their age hasn’t had a bit of a top gun fantasy before and i think alex would enjoy any costume that involves wearing sunglasses.

- ferris bueller and cameron: miles is ferris and alex is cameron and miles is significantly more into the costume than alex is.

- WITHNAIL AND I!!!!!!!!: do i even have to explain this one??

BIOGRAPHY.

bash doesn't know if mark or ethan is his real father because all three of his parents have been together since before he was born. it's perhaps what made him constantly want attention because he got so much from them

however, being a child associated with the big three, there were plenty of times he didn't see his parents and spent more time with nannies, the cleaners, or the cook. he was more than happy to soak up the attention from anywhere

in fact when his parents considered bringing in another child to keep him company or at the very least, wear out some of his constant energy; bash threw a tantrum for the record books. it lasted long enough that his parents chose to revisit the idea later and then scrapped it altogether later.

in school, despite being a nuisance and general disturbance, bash was popular and made a name for himself for the parties he threw, the elaborate pranks he’d pull, and famously getting away with almost everything. the only time he got in any serious trouble was in middle school when what was supposed to be a small prank and a little vandalism ended up starting a fire and taking out two classrooms. he ended up having to spend the rest of the eight grade in boarding school but was able to come back for his freshman year of high school.

much to the surprise of everyone, bash graduated high school and as a reward his parents got him a penthouse apartment on the upper side of the city. even though they would’ve liked him to go to college, it wasn’t expected and bash had no intention of attending more school. he didn’t plan on working either unless he had to, which each of his parents take turns having him shadow them on occasion but it’s not necessary for him to jump the gun into a career when he’s essentially set for life. along with eventually inheriting a board member seat in the distant future and that would be future bash’s problem

these days bash spends most of his time partying, being promiscuous, and generally being a menace to upper class society. in every sense of the word, he’s a spoiled and entitled rich kid and there’s no saying if or when he’ll ever grow up. eventually it was all bound to catch up to him or his parents could cut him off, but for now that’s not his concern.

HEADCANONS.

bash often throws parties in different places, including his parents mansion and his own penthouse

he doesn’t like to sleep alone, so if he’s not bringing someone to bed (or joining someone else) with him he will often stay with friends, to be in the house with someone else at the very least, if not cuddling up with a homie for a solid platonic cuddle session

though he doesn’t show it, he’s insecure about a lot of things, including his future.
