Trans Prom 2025 begins next week!

Trans Prom is not a single day or event, but a celebration of trans people and their journey as well as an opportunity for trans individuals to express themselves in ways they may not have been able to. 🩷🩶💙

Everyone is welcome! Trans women, trans men, non binary, fluid, questioning, whatever!

Hey hey you beautiful people! I didn't join in last year, so i figured I'd give it a shot! Trans prom is something started by @zaigg where you draw your sona or oc in a prom outfit you wish you could have worn!

I actually did get to go to prom as a kid, but honestly i had much more fun watching How to Train Your Dragon with my girlfriend after the fact lol.

Also here's a background for the peeps that wanna join but don't want to draw a background :)

Waiting for my Prom Queen 💕

My partner @zai-gq had such a lovely idea of drawing myself in the prom dress I never got to wear and I couldn't stop thinking about it. This is the first in a small series that will be posted throughout this month so keep a lookout and not just from me!

One of the really cool things that I've seen from this community are the events or projects that you all participate in. Recently there's been the Sabine Flyover and Trans Trading Card Collection, but there's one that took place last year that I missed the boat on as I wasn't publicly out yet...

...Trans Prom!

So I'm like, wildly late to this, but I've been working on my feminine presentation. I've been having an issue with embarrassment over the thought of myself in certain clothes since my frame doesn't really fit yet (or I just lack the confidence right now), and that's translated into me drawing myself as embarrassed when wearing traditionally feminine clothes.

Sooooooo I applied a concept I learned from reading a certain comic by a certain @lynnsenpai and gave myself a jacket... suddenly I don't feel nearly as embarrassed!

So here's me rocking out in my trans prom dress.

I never went to my prom, I went to my fencing club that night lol.

I don't do well at large or loud functions. I'd rather be in a pillow fort hiding from all the light and sounds. Even so, this is still not something I want to miss. Thank you to @zaigg for starting this trend last year!

A lot has changed in a year, huh? I still had feet back then!

Trans Prom was one of the first things that really drove me to want to try and be part of this community and glad to get to be a part of it and to have become a lot more comfortable with the big ocean critter that I am ^^
