Macaque gives the pregnant person who doesn’t have much of a baby bump so he probably just went “wow, coming back to life makes people nauseous a lot.” And because of not showing, he’s annoyed when people ask him if he really is or just joking around. But he’s also glad not many people try to touch his stomach and get all handsy (something that probably happened with Wukong).

The idea of Wukong and Macaque’s eyes twitching when anyone talks about their birth experience and how their way is the only correct way is incredible.

Also, was Macaque pregnant around LBD?

in the Slow Boiled Au; Macaque is also pretty darn skinny compared to Wukong, and he hasn't exactly been eating well since he got back. He legit assumes all his early symptoms are side-effects of coming back to life.

The twins eggs you see, are still super tiny compared to Yuebei's. Their parent has been caught in an enviroment of negative life energy for all this time, so they havent been able to absorb much dao to grow. Once Mac reconciles with Wukong and becomes a member of the Monkie Kid gang, the twins' eggs finally start growing as normal.

Also Mac has zero idea that being physically dragged into the Underworld triggered the Stone Egg creation process within him. So yes, he would be carrying the Eclipse twins' Stone Eggs when he was around LBD in S2 & 3.

Would be hilarious if after punishing Mac with the ice curse for his disobedience; the twins' weak magic acted up to try and protect him. Mac still seeks out the Samadhi Fire to free him of the magic ice, though he notices briefly that *something* within him tries absorbing it... he'll look into it later.

Even after learning that he was "with Egg", Macaque more so doesn't wish to "advertise his weakness", and deliberately dresses to avoid people from noticing his baby bump unless he feels safe around them.

If someone tried touching Mac's stomach without permission, he'd break their arm. Even the little earth monkeys on FFM know to wait for a nod before touching a baby bump on anybody due to times where Wukong was really sensitive about his body.

Mac is also *super-cuddly* around this time and he hates it. He hugging everybody just cus his emotions/hormones need the cuddles. Wukong is happy to be of service :3

Jacob Stone: yeah I have a brother but I haven't seen him much since he enlisted. He writes occasionally and I guess he's doing well, he's got some food truck business across Europe. Other than that I think he's just enjoying an easy life, no fighting or war anymore. I'm happy for him

I've always wondered how Dragon AUs work with the stones, since they are supposed to be the dragons in a dormant state. In your au, are they just stones that contain a fraction of their power? Something that can summon and control them? Something like the Red and Blue orbs?

Also, did the people that captured them before ever realize that they captured the Subway bosses, or did they never find out since they stayed in their pokemon forms the whole time. And did they just disappear from the subway?XD

sorta dormant state sorta not. like. when the dragons are not in a dormant state the stones still Physically Exist, and if you have the stone you can sorta influence the dragon they are connected to (not force commands, but. they will be inclined to do what you wish.) just because they are a physical connection to / manifestation of them at their most vulnerable (dormant). basically things are Weird.

you could theoretically summon them, but it'd be more like. you think really hard about wanting them to show up and they'll Feel That and decide if they want to

also! during the events of the game(s), the battle portion of the subway was shut down, as team plasma (/neo) was kinda causing trouble and "the bosses were needed elsewhere". nobody really paid too much attention to it, as there was other, more pressing, things going on

Star and Sun

Here's the beta designs for Star and Sun so far! Plus their Zelda whose nickname is Moon <3

In BS TLOZ and AST, their only unique in-game characteristics are Star's green hair and white baseball cap vs Sun's red hair and white ribbon, so playing around with different outfits for each of them was really fun!

I think they turned out alright for now, I'm especially proud of Moon's design. Star's outfit was a little difficult since the baseball cap doesn't match the vibe of the traditional green hero tunic so I just gave him a fancy blue cloak to hide it. And to match, I gave Sun a simpler red piece tied around the belt rather than over the shoulders

you hum as the veggies sizzle on the stove, a song from the day’s errands sticking in your brain. a taste makes your lips curl up, and you can’t help but sing a little more as the television plays behind you.

“… of course the story of the day belongs to the chicago cubs’ peter stone, who led the squad to their fifteenth win. what can we expect from him and the team in the next stretch as the cubs return home?”

“another few wins, we hope,” you respond to the television, turning to face it as some of peter’s strikeouts play on screen.

they talk about him a lot now — he’s making a real showing early on, and your chest buzzes with pride as you hear them sing his praises. he’s doing better than great and he deserves every moment of his time in the spotlight.

but like always, you miss him when he’s gone. miss seeing him in person, miss sleeping beside him. another day without him this time around, and you feel every minute. so eventually, when your chest aches just enough, your focus swings back to the pan on the stove.

that’s when the door opens.

you don’t hear it. the pan is sizzling pretty loud, and the television volume is turned up so you can hear it in the kitchen. plus, the song you were humming is now a full rendition, including a spatula microphone. it’s not until the heat on the stove turns off and you turn backtowards the television that you see peter, his eyes soft, bag on the ground, smile wide.

“hoping for a few wins, huh?” he asks, reaching up to pull his hat off.

your spatula, for a moment lifted like a weapon, gets set on the countertop as you glare. “peter stone,” you say fiercely. “you said you were gonna call! you said you were coming home tomorrow!”

“yeah, but i caught an early flight,” he tells you, and then his face softens as he takes in your face. “i needed to be home.”

“oh, peter,” you murmur, and then you’re rushing him, jumping into his arms as he wraps around you. he laughs as you grip him, before pulling back to kiss you, hands on your cheeks when you’re touching the ground again. “peter, you’re —“

“i’m home,” he whispers back, hugging you tight. “i’m home.”

Why Macaque in the Slow Boiled Au has a Double-yolk;

Hehehehe. This applies to the TMKATI and Century Stone Egg aus too.

I wasn't lying when I described Macaque being literally "dragged into the Underworld".

As in, as his memories imply; he was dragged down there while he still alive.

Those chains were of LBD's design, hence why she appeared to Macaque as a near-Heavenly figure - trying to manipulate him into seeing her as a savior rather than an opportunistic demon.

Whilst he didn't fall for most of the Bone Demon's deception (he dumped the key immediately), she did warp his perception enough that he truly believed that Wukong had killed him in that moment. When in reality it's likely that his body basically went into "Sleep Mode" like we see Wukong is capable of doing when greatly injured.

And in the stone egg aus; this leads to Macaque's body basically going; "Beneath the Earth? Isolation? Meditating? Guess its time to make Eggs!" and form the stone eggs that would become Rumble & Savage.

Macaque is as shocked as he is furious at the already-dead LBD + his own treacherous Mystic Monkey biology. And by the time of S4; he's trying his best to figure out how to tell Wukong and confront what really might of happened on the day Macaque "died".

why could mac take care of the twins for so long before going to swk?

So the twins hatched (or at least their stone started to break) when SWK returned from the celestial realm at the end of season two when he saved MK at the last minute. In doing so there he expelled a lot of magic which hit the twin's stone and caused it to start hatching.

Due to this the twins had a lot of Wukong's energy already when Macaque found them ~ around episode 7 of season three which as far as I can tell wasn't all that long after the end of season two (I would say two weeks tops since 4-6 happened almost at the same time to each other).

Also until Macaque brought the twins to Wukong they had never been near him and so didn't realize that being close to both Wukong and Macaque made their sickly feelings go away. It's also why Hexie was so desperate to get Wukong to stay in the beginning.

Based on this post, the side plot that’s been stealing all my attention

Zekrom is tired. He’s been tired for what feels like an age. Splitting from his other half. The war. Fighting his own people. Reshiram winning back his heart stone. Becoming kings.

It’s been so much.

He just wants to sleep.

He doesn’t think he’d sleep so long as to end up in a new age though.

Fashioning a nest on top of the long plush not-throne that smells like home and the strange but familiar smelling coat where he found his heart stone hidden away in a secret chest pocket leaves him feeling a little more secure after something rattled his stone enough to wake him.

“Ingo?” The name is unfamiliar but the voice, clipped and energetic yet missing that building edge of stress and irritation, is one he’d recognize anywhere.

He croons back, wariness crackling down his spine and charging the air around him.

Loud footsteps rush down the hall. Reshiram slides into the room on soft socks and scrambles over, his own chirr of worry rusty and squawking at the end. He’s different than Zekrom remembers him.

His eyes are yes brighter and free of the dark marks from too many nights up ruling a country that was suddenly theirs. He’s wearing a simple buttoned shirt, so different from the layers and armor they usually don. Perhaps the most glaring difference is how soft he is, fluttering over Zekrom with worry and confusion clear on his face. This is not King Reshiram, god of Truth, conquerer of Ideals. But it is his brother, his other half, his eternal love. It’s in his every move as Reshiram- Emmet, he insists, blankets him in dozens of tiny squirming Joltiks. The bugs latch on with fuzzy legs and ticklish fangs, eating up all the anxious, wary electricity leaking from him, leaving him relaxed for the first time in months.

Emmet stands on the floor before him, declining his invitation to cuddle with him and the Joltiks. There’s that quiet strength, shining bright in his eyes as he paces back and forth, gathering his thoughts. He pauses for a moment, that far away look on his face when he would feel for his heart stone in the past, before he turns to Zekrom full of questions.
