i was so confused for a sec when i saw this ask. then i looked at the next note. i mean, i hope this is what it’s from

feel like a lot of r/twosentencehorror posts would be fixed if it’s writers didn’t try and browbeat their stories into the clunky two sentence gimmick and just posted it separately as microfiction. there’s maybe like less than 50 posts on that subreddit which work coherently in the two sentence format and I can probably count on one hand how many actively benefit from it

so i just reblogged a post about reddit short horror stories from reddit threads like r/nosleep and r/twosentence horror and just wanted to share some of my favorite titles i've collected

Ah, the proud r/196 tradition of ragging on r/twosentence horror. Started out making fun of real posts, but I think it quickly changed to mostly doing what OP did here, with creating their own post. Often the inevitable mod removal of the post was included in the image.

I'll admit the whole thing was a tad mean-spirited, but in our defense it was also very funny. The format just lends itself to both deliberate and very much unintentional comedy.
