Hello! I left this as a comment on the ao3 story in question (Leap of Faith by you and alighterwood) but I figured I'd send it on tumblr too just in case you don't check your comments over there.

I recently found out someone reuploaded one of my fics without permission or credit from ao3 to fanfiction.net and noticed their whole profile is full of other reuploads I can only assume they didn't ask for permission to reupload either and unfortunately Leap of Faith is one of those :/

I had to Google search chunks of the writing to track down where the fic originally came from bc this user intentionally changes titles (in this case, removing the spaces as well as the A from leap, leaving it as lepoffaith) and does not include the original author's name on their reupload. I've left reviews on the reupload of my own fic a few times asking them to take it down to no avail, but I figure maybe if more authors also ask them then they'll have to do it.

so... to anyone who is looking for a text to speech app to listen to LoF: there is a free app called "Evie" that I know of for samsung phones. you can find it on google play. there are also other apps that let you do this (make sure not to use AI!!). i'm sure you can find one. uploading fics onto another website is not the way to go and is super disrespectful

Hello, you may not know me and you may not know this new account. However, I've been a fan of Lord of the Flies for a while and have been active in the fandom for a long time. This is an alt. This might sound weird, and abrupt but something has been brought to my attention that has been bugging me for a while and it's not just the small bickering and arguments and random anon posts.

Lately, while scrolling on the tag, I've become suspicious of a slightly big (?) Lotf account that is clearly lying to people and manipulating them. A few other associates have some forward to me through the past months telling me their suspicions, telling me they feel uncomfortable and are unsure if it's just them. I looked it through, and from an outsiders perspective it's quite easy to tell what this person is doing. Timelines that don't match, suspicious behaviour, outright (?)lying about art and making those who support them always go to their defense.

To me, I'm unsure if people around them know that this person is harmful or if the people around them are truly ignorant of the situation they have been manipulated into. They are believing and some, out right supporting, this false narrative the person has made for themselves. This 'nice persona', that lies and fans the flames in the background, making themselves look better or as the bigger person. They themselves, are essentially an oc that they set a personality for.

Right now, I just want to warn you guys about the people you are trusting, the people you believe to be your "friends" because watching this manipulation happen, having these former tactics being used on me, is like watching younger me again be taken advantage of. I don't care how old or mature you are, please please take a moment and think about if you're truly placing your trust into the right person. I won't personally be saying their username, since I'd much rather send a message and warning. Plus, I do not know what they would do, or what the people who would support them do. I'm not sure if people will even believe me posting this here since I haven't been using this account.

He is confirmed to have groomed at least 2 teens, and it is speculated that they may not even be his only victims.

The victim this post is about (Girl A) was 14 when he was 23. I need Victim B’s permission before I update this post with her experience.

Dungeonation is a game maker who often attends the Newgrounds meet-ups. He is responsible for the Flash Forward jam that happens every year. He is also responsible for a few games of his own, most notably Pico vs Bear DX and Randy Learns Science. He is working on a game called Randy Learns History.

Girl A’s experience is below the cut.

Dungeonation has a suspected modus operandi. He targets young teens who are huge fans of his games and uses their interests in his games and their view on him as an idol to reel them into his fetishes. When they try telling someone, he lies and labels them as crazy.

Girl A was a huge fan-turned-volunteer for the Randy Learns... series. On the 2nd of June, 2024, she suddenly deactivated everywhere and sent a hefty resignation letter to Dungeonation. Not to the team like he so claims.

This is Girl A's full letter, and Dungeonation's public (and deleted) response. Girl A reached out to him privately because she believed he was still capable of change.

This is his full private response in the project's group chat. He made a post similar to this on his private account.

He claims that she dug around for his fetish and brought it up out of nowhere, but that is blatantly false. On more than one occasion, he has brought up the topic of weight to her, and especially in one of them, he equated it to pleasure-using the term "weight-gainer"

In fact, the only time she has ever brought up the topic of a fat fetish or anything related to it was in her resignation letter. Other than that, he was the one who would either bring it up or twist a conversation to talk about it.

Girl A was fixated on the friendship between the characters Randy and Elijah. Girl A claims that the only time Dungeonation had ever talked about them in-depth with her was when he wanted to prevent her from leaving.

When I reached out to someone who was also a former fan and friend of Dungeonation, they confirmed that Dungeonation had never sent them things related to his fetishes. Unlike Girl A, this person was an adult when they were interested in the Randy Learns... series.

If anyone else has had any experiences with Dungeonation that are similar to this, please reach out. This is still an ongoing thread.

Feel free to wait until Dungeonation makes a response on the matter-if he so chooses.

I do not like making callout posts, I never made one before, but right now I feel that this is a serious issue and I feel the need to address it.

This person named Star had been using me and my friends since the beginning of 2024, she's used one of my best friends for clout and pretend to care about others feelings and interests, she would always lie and make things up, completely ignoring the fact that she knew these things made people very uncomfortable. She would always talk behind peoples back to me, as if I was nothing but her venting machine. The only thing she cares about is her follower count.

Please, whatever you do, please BLOCK HER. She's nothing but a snake, and I fear that she will get to other peoples mind and mentally scar them. She's the reason why I even left the fnaf community, I felt betrayed, heartbroken and depressed for weeks. But I've grown, and I just don't want people to fall for her tricks. Me and so many others are victims to her games and i, being the main fucking victim here, advise everyone who sees this to just ignore her and block her.

Since this person has been interacting with some of my posts for a while, I just wanna friendly remind that I DON'T FUCKING SUPPORT THEM, I already got a few red flags from them with the not safe space victims of AB and that they have been actively harassing rewrite users, but the AI art and I-rael bullshit is fucking enough

I gave them a "pass" and ignored them at first foolly thinking they probably were a kid for the gacha and way of writing, but they're apparently 18 or 19 ☠️

And I fucking hate that this person is giving a bad image to the rest of Bright users, just like SK and SH already did (I think they already interacted with both of them), so I recommend blocking all three of them to not get involved on this shit
