I’m gonna be honest I think some of you guys are giving the Vees more credit than they deserve. Regardless of what might be shown in the future, the assumption would automatically be that while Vox and Velvette wouldn’t do what Valentino does, that they also don’t care about him doing it either.

Their complacency also damns them just as much as Valentino subjecting Angel Dust to rape damns him (just, like, slightly less, but yk). They go hand in hand. I don’t think the other Vees give a shit about what Val gets up to - they’re in Hell, to them it’s whatever. I just don’t think it’s possible to work as closely with Val and not know.

Like, I imagine Velvette just doesn’t give a shit about Angel (or any of the - possible - others), period. Vox though? Vox might barely bat an eye at the others but I wouldn’t be surprised if he hates Angel’s ass; like, if he could kill him without upsetting Valentino he would type shit. He’s not gonna like his boyfriend’s side piece, be serious; he’ll certainly let Val have his fun though, no matter how much it irritates him. Vox just looked far too happy at the prospect of Angel having left during his and Val’s first scene together in episode two for me not to think he resents Angel to some degree. Same thing with the nasty look he gave Angel when Vox saw him looking at Vox talking to Valentino during “Poison”.

It’s not impossible for demons or sinners in Hell to believe in consent though considering we know how Asmodeus and the people around Angel explicitly care about it. I just don’t think those same exact reservations apply to the Vees.

Aldhani heist modern AU for Andor Appreciation Week 2023 - Day 3: Favourite Arcs ##

(Coruscant/Aldhani Valley) Vel Sartha, society girl, implicated in last year’s Aldhani Bank heist

Leaked documents from the Security Bureau allege collaboration of political and criminal elements on a not yet seen scale.

An investigation into the claims of Security Bureau agent Lt. Dedra Meero, who assembled the leaked file using confidential security documents, has been started. Experts doubt the validity of her claim that a yet unnamed leader, code name “Axis”, orchestrated the attack - in which eight bank employees and security officers lost their lives - with the goal to raise funds to establish a broad revolutionary alliance.

The investigation into the heist, in which over 12 tons of gold and an unknown amount of legal tender was stolen, has notoriously been kept under wraps, with no official suspect being named by Aldhani Valley Police as of yet. A political dimension had not been part of the conversation about the motive for the heist up until the leak. Some of the file was assembled from confidential sources, including a politically highly incendiary illegal missive by the SB about Sarthas’s cousin, Senator Mon Mothma. Parts of the document seem to come from redacted files and sources, with no explanation how Meero has obtained these. According to inside sources, intra- and interorganizational security leaks in the Bureau are already being investigated. The document claiming to identify the perpetrators and their motive was leaked online by a yet unnamed person, going by “A friend of Lt. Meero”, who claims to “not longer be able to sit idly by while a good officer who knows the truth gets no recognition for her work”. Meero’s lawyers maintain that she herself has not broken confidentiality and did not leak the document herself. Whoever leaked the documents faces charges for disseminating confidential SB information. The file also names Karis Nemik, founding member of the Alliance of Socialist Students (ASS) and a former officer of the Imperial Army, identified only as Lt. Gorn as co-conspirateurs. Also named are Cinta Kaz and Taramyn Barcona, two veterans of private security outfits that have served in multiple military tours overseas, as well as two more men, Cassian Andor and Arvel Skeen, who have minor criminal records. There are no current criminal investigations into any of the seven suspects. Besides Sartha, none of the accused have been present in the public or on social media in the last year. Unsourced rumors that at least the accused Lt. Gorn was actually one of the bodies found at the scene have yet to be confirmed.

Meero draws alleged connections between the suspects foremost through photographic evidence. Most of this evidence is already under scrutiny by officials and a vocal crowd online, with claims of image manipulation already going viral.

Various civil rights attorneys and organizations have already spoken up about the political dimension in the accusations against Sartha - especially because of her connections to the current senate - and Nemik, who has been an outspoken political activist in recent years. 

Members of the Mothma Senatorial office and Vel Sartha’s PR team have yet to comment.

Meanwhile, Sartha shared a cryptic post with the caption “Throwback to last year - I had been camping all spring!” on her various social medias.

Like they would've been long established as High Primate and the cult's most beloved murder spawn by the time Orin was born. I was thinking about Cassian and Vel because I assume Vel’s initial reaction to Cassian joining up will be a frustrated “are you FUCKING KIDDING ME” after all that searching for him put them through

but thinking about a flash forward Everybody Lives!AU…a Rebelcaptain and VelCinta double date but of course it’s also an intelligence mission would be SO FUN.

Cassian and Vel are fully in character, talking about local politics or something just loud enough to be heard and blend in. Jyn and Cinta are secretly playing a game called “how many knives can you hide in your cover identity’s outfit” and Jyn thought she was winning but then Cinta pulls a knife out of VEL’S outfit and she didn’t even know that was allowed!!!! and she now desperately wants to see if she can tie by pulling one from Cassian’s boot under the table. but he rests his hand over hers and it’s Cassian doing it not his character and she can’t pull away damn it!!! and Cinta similarly now has Vel’s arm around her shoulders and she can no longer reach the knife she hid under the table the day before the mission even started, damn it!!!

anyway. in the future maybe they’re at the very least good allies on a mission and respect each other as rebellion intelligence OGs with lethal girlfriends thank you and goodnight

what no one has done nearly enough with is vel and cassian (or more likely, joreth sward or someone) having a lavender marriage for the Rebellion. vel needs a more convenient Cover for not being a nice heterosexually married Chandrilan Lady and the rebellion needs to sink another long term sleeper agent into the Chandrilan elite to pass money and information around. Vel and Cassian think they're going to kill each other in the first week or be immediately found out but the thing is that because they have a shared purpose and don't actively hate each other's guts they can grit their teeth and Bear It for the rebellion and in comparison to the *rest* of *real* Chandrilan couples this is an absolute dream relationship, so everyone's after Vel for marriage advice

Arrax here; I want Vox's full out demon form to be some horrifying eldritch being, like...I dunno maybe Vox's form is Vox's electricity--omly his, his Cyan electricity that the city uses.

Like, Vox gets shot with an angelic bullet and he falls. Everyone thinks he's dead, and yest Vox's employees are still fighting. The Vox's screen lights up, as does every single screen in the surrounding area, and you hear this draconic, viscous snarl and using all 8 screens that are around him, fully demonic Vox breaks out, and he terrifies everyone.

oh, thats a very interesting concept!!. my favourite ever FULL full demon form of vox comes from RHTVS, where he has (technically...) two full demon forms, one as a giant white electricity beast and another being like this giant kaiju mecha

i have seen gorgeous depictions of voxs demon form such as a giant mecha-shark hybrid, but i like imagining him close to the devils from csm. (actually, this kind of correlates with your hc too)

something like a cross between the gun devil and the falling devil, where he's still somewhere "close" to an approximation of a human body (bc for some reason, vox just strikes me as the type of person to cling onto what human parts of himself he still has. might just be me tho), but built up of a mixture of mechanical wires, electricity, and the souls under his contracts. id imagine like the gun devil, many many many fucking television screens would be incorporated onto his body.

also, in the situation youve posed, i cant help but imagine a scenario where vox never told anyone about this form before, and everyone (even the vees!) truly thought he might be dead for a moment, the power around hells pride ring slowly flickering and crashing as his opponents revel in having taken down one of prides top overlords- before they start screaming. limbs start to burn from an overwhelming amount of static electricity in the air, a smell of ozone and burnt bits wafting through the streets of the entertainment district as vox reaches forward with arms constructed of pure electricity and strings of wiring, pulling forward until he stands up, form flickering with static and power. every broadcast flicks on, and the unfortunate sinners too weak to resist the pulls of their screen are pulled in toward him until he consumes them too, fueling him with only more ammunition for the fires.
