You haven't seen Miguel in almost a week and finally had enough of his radio silence so you decided to use the spare key to his house and check on him yourself. As you made his way to his room, an odd smell filled the room. It was sweet, and similar to vanilla. Something about the scent made something stir deep in your core, but you ignored it and pushed the door to Miguel's room open. His room was horrible messy, clothes strewn everywhere and the smell of lust hanging thickly in the air. This was odd to you, as long as you've known him he was always high strung and almost annoyingly neat.

"Go away." He growled from under his covers, his voice strained. "Miguel? Oh my god, are you okay?? Are you hurt?" You rush over to him, hand brushing his shoulder as your eyes skate over his body, checking for injuries.

Miguel groaned in response to your touch, his body tensing up as you brushed his shoulder. He slowly pulled away from the covers, revealing red eyes and retractable talons. His chest heaved heavily, sweat coating his skin as he tried to fight the primal urge within him.

"I'm not hurt. But... I'm experiencing a heat." He muttered, his voice filled with discomfort as he sat up and clutched the blankets around his waist. "It's like a dog or a cat, I need to breed." You heaved a sigh of relief. "Can... can I help?" You say, sitting next to him on the bed. Even though he was your best friend, you couldn't leave him like this. And some part of you, buried under 5 years of friendship, wanted to know what it would be like to be filled by him.

Miguel hesitated for a moment, but then slowly nodded his head. "Please." He whispered, his voice laced with desperation as he leaned into you. "I can't take it anymore."

As he leaned into you, his scent only grew stronger, making you feel something stirring inside you. You could feel your own body growing hotter as well, the scent of his arousal filling your senses.

You reach out to touch his face, your fingers lingering along his jawline before you leaned in slowly for a kiss. The kiss started gentle, then progressed, quickly becoming needy. You swung your leg over him so you were straddling him and began kissing down his jaw, to his neck in desperation.

Miguel's chest rumbled in approval as you moved down to his neck, his breathing becoming labored as his body responded to your every touch. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him, allowing you to feel his body's heat.

As you kissed and nibbled on his neck, Miguel let out low, growling moans. His hands wandered up your back before he reached to the hem of your shirt and pulled it off, revealing your muscular frame. "You're so beautiful," he muttered, his eyes glowing almost hypnotically.

You blushed furiously, but smiled up at him.

"Thanks, Miggy" You pressed a kiss to his abdomen and pulled his shirt off. "Y'know, I've dreamed of this for a while" A bright smile on your face, you continued pecking at his abs, giving him a chance to stop you if he wanted to. "Well, you should have told me sooner."

He growled playfully, his eyes still glowing with an intense heat. He pulled you closer, hungrily kissing you as his hands roamed your body. His touch was rough but gentle, as if he couldn't quite control his own body.

"Can I suck you off, Miggy?" You asked, pawing at his huge bulge as you ground your hips against the carpet desperately. You hadn't felt this aroused in a long time, but you needed to get him off first.

Miguel moaned loudly at your touch, his body shuddering with pleasure. "Please," he groaned, his body twitching in anticipation. "I need it so bad."

As you worked on pulling down his pants, his erection sprang free, twitching with need. You licked your lips, admiring the sight of him before taking him into your mouth with a moan. His taste was sweet and heady, causing you to bob your head up and down on him, taking him as deep as you could go and letting out pleasured moans before finally pulling back up.

You pushed your head down again, scratching at his thighs with your nails as you drug your mouth up and down his length. As you reached the bottom of his shaft, you dipped your tongue out to toy at his balls. Pulling back up, you moaned around him. "Tell me how good it feels baby."

Miguel gripped the sheets beneath him, his muscles tensed as he moaned loudly.

"It feels so good," he grunted, his hips bucking slightly as you worked on him.

"Your mouth is amazing, just keep going like that."

He let out another moan as you toyed with his balls before returning back to his length. The sight of you taking him in deep was too much for him. With a primal growl, he came hard, filling your mouth with his hot seed. His body was spent, and he rested there panting, his chest heaving up and down as he tried to catch his breath.

As he came in your mouth, you jerked once, twice, a third time as you came around nothing. Slowly, you slipped up the length of his body and pressed yourself against him.

Miguel was still panting heavily as you made your way up his body, feeling your own heat and need as his body's scent continued to fill your senses. He pulled you closer to him, running his fingers through your hair before pressing his lips against yours in a heated kiss.

"God, you make me crazy." He whispered, his hand slipping down the curve of your waist even as he caught his breath. "I need more."

"Then take it baby. I'm all yours. Always have been." You whispered, rolling your hips against him as you spoke. Although it could be perceived as a heat of the moment phrase, you meant every word.

In a way, you could tell he knew it too as he let out a low growl at your words and rolled you over onto your back. His hands trailed down your body, taking in every curve and muscle he could find. His eyes glinted with a primal heat as he gazed at your body, his own body responding to your every move.

With deliberate slowness, he lowered his lips to yours, kissing you hungrily as he pressed his body against yours. He let his hands wander down to your hips before sliding them down to your core, teasing and stroking you until you were aching with need.

"Tell me what you want," he whispered, his voice husky with desire.

"G-god! Miguel!! Need you!! All of you! Any of you! Your mouth, your fingers your c-cock!" you garbled, overwhelmed by his touch. Miguel grinned hungrily at your words before kissing you again, his tongue slipping into your mouth as his fingers trailed down to your soaked center, teasing and stroking you until you were writhing beneath him. He let out a growl before trailing kisses down your neck and chest, taking your breasts into his mouth and teasing them until your nipples were hard.

He then made his way back down to your core, kissing and nipping at your inner thighs before slipping his fingers inside you. Your body jerked in pleasure as he worked on you with his fingers, his mouth coming down to your core to tease your clit with his tongue.

"You like that?" He chuckled against you, his fingers continuing to work wonders inside of you. "Tell me how much."

Miguel let out a low growl, his body contracting with pleasure as he came hard inside of you. He collapsed on top of you, his body heaving with exhaustion as he panted against your skin.

"You're mine now," he muttered, his fangs lingering on your skin. "Forever."

"I love you," he whispered against your skin, his voice hoarse with emotion. "I don't think I could ever love anyone as much as I love you."

Your eyes welled with tears as you let out a choked sob. "I love you Miguel O'hara, more than life itself! Promise you'll stay with me... please?"

Miguel pulled back slightly, his eyes searching yours as he wiped away your tears. "I'll never leave you," he promised, his voice filled with conviction. "I'll always be here, by your side, protecting you and loving you." He leaned in for a gentle kiss, his lips caressing yours softly before pulling back and tucking you in close to his chest. He felt so comfortable holding you like this, and he knew that he never wanted to let you go.

"I'm yours, now and always," he murmured, his eyes closing as he held you close. "Forever."

I Don't Have To Do a Damn Thing!

Veroinca: You looked so handsome walking across that stage. I think Grams was about to cry

Vaughn: Probably, she's sensitive.

The guilt is eating away at Vaughn, he knows he needs to talk to Veronica but he can never seem to find the time. "Sweetheart we should talk somewhere private"

Veroinca: Right now? I wanted to find my parents

Vaughn: I would prefer the sooner the better

Veroinca: You look so serious! Let's meet my parents real quick then we can talk

Vaughn: Your parents already know me, sweetheart

Veronica: This is different!! Let's go!

Veronica pulls Vaughn along while scanning the crowd for her parents. Vaughn on the other hand is a bundle of nerves.

Veroinca: I found them! Dad! Mom! I've been looking for you everywhere. I wanted to introduce Vaughn Leary! My boyfriend. Vaughn my parents

Vaughn: Nice to see you again in better circumstances Mr and Mrs Reeves

Blair: Oh! Xavier speaks so highly of you. I'm happy to hear you and Veronica get along so well. She can bit of a handful, I hope you can manage

Vaughn: Don't worry. I'm able to handle

Brayden: I hear your grandma and cousin were at your graduation? We should have dinner together

Vaughn: I would love that. I'll set up a date. They continue to mingle and set up plans for the summer.

The conversation ends Vaughn and Veroinca find themselves sitting at a secluded booth. Finally, some quiet time. It may not be the best place but it's better to rip the bandage off and beg forgiveness than have Veronica find out from a different source.

Vaughn: Veronica, we need to talk

Veroinca: You're using my name? Are you going to break up with me?

Vaughn: Never.

Before Vaughn can continue a call cuts him off. It's an important call he couldn't ignore "Hold on for me Princess I'll be tight back"

Veroinca: Let's leave after, it's getting boring

Vaughn: Sure, we'll go back to my Gram's place. I'll make us something to eat

Veronica waits patiently then begins to notice more stares aimed are being aimed at her. The whispers start to get louder and people start to point. It's hard to ignore until she receives a notification on her phone and her world gets quiet

Vaughn arrives back at the main hall and notices the whispers and the stares. His heart drops as he finds Veronica where he left her. Phone in her hand gripping it tight. "Princess?"

Veronica: Is it true?"

He knows what she is asking but he doesn't want to answer. Fucking hell.

Veroinca: I don't even know why I'm asking you. Of course its true...I should have known you weren't serious. How many times were you going to fuck me before you got bored"

Vaughn is quiet, he can't lie anymore not at this critical moment "I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you" Veronica lets out a shaky laugh "Wanted to tell me? Tell me what? that I was just some conquest?"

Vaughn: Baby, Veronica please we can talk about this. Right now what I feel for you is real. I meant what I said about being the man you deserve

Veroinca: Why should I believe you! I thought...you really liked me...I thought that...we wer-"

Veroinca is choking back on her tears, losing her train of thought. Malcolm warned her so many times. Why didn't she listen? Now everyone in SanMy sees her as another fucking conquest.

Vaughn: Veronica. I'm begging, please. You have to know I love you and I'm sorry. I was dumb then but I know better now.

Veroinca: You love me? Are you insane?? You don't know what that is!

Vaughn: Please...just believe me

Veronica: I don't have to do a damn thing!

Vaughn is in shambles his worst nightmare is coming true and he can't do anything to wake up from the terror. He tries to approach Veroinca, hug her, touch her hands, something to ease her pain but she slaps him away. "Don't you ever touch me again Whatever this is. It's over"

Vaughn watches Veroinca walk past him and runs straight into her mother's arm. He can see her shoulders shake from her tears. Standing there Vaughn feels his world begin to crumble around him. He finally found something good and he fucking ruined it. How can he ever fix this?

Would you be willing to give any advice about anatomy? I feel like it's holding back my art by a lot.

Tbh I struggle a lot with anatomy too, but I'll do my best!

Life/figure drawings! As someone who hates the idea of actually studying anatomy, I find doing some quick figure sketches, even just as a warmup, can train your eye to focus on form and proportion without you needing to worry about the details. And it doesn't have to be boring! @/zeet_studio_sketch and @/mmcoconut on ig have some themed sessions I use for inspo.

But if you do like actually studying anatomy, take a look at artists like TB Choi or these reference masterlists: x x

A big technical thing is balancing curves and straight lines. The two work well when they're opposite each other, especially when drawing limbs/the body. Basically like this:

4. Last but not least, consume media! This sounds dumb but I tend to improve most when I latch onto a show/character that I really like. A lot of technical growth can happen just from drawing consistently! (aka find a blorbo)

I wanna talk about titles and names for things in my MCD au/rewrite

This may be long, you’ve been warned

First and foremost Lord Lady and Sir:

In my universe, it was generally uncommon (though not unheard of) for a woman to be the head of a village until Aphmau. If a woman was the head of a village she would be called Lady (her name) and never Lord (her name). Aphmau was the first woman to call herself Lord, and since then it became customary.

Though there are other reasons someone may be called “Lady”. If they are the wife of a Lord, a high or head knight/guard, or if they are someone of great importance. For example, Lady Katelyn the Firefist and Lady Azura of Bright Port. While Katelyn is a member of the Jury, Lady Katelyn the Firefist is her official title, but when she is stripped of her rank, that title is taken as well and she became just Katelyn. Azura being head guard of Bright Port gives her the title of Lady Azura.

And finally, Sir. Similarly to Lady, Sir is the title given to male head guards. While Garroth is head guard of Phoenix Drop, he is known as Sir Garroth of Phoenix Drop. While Laurance is head guard he is Sir Laurance Zvahl of Meteli. Though when he left for Phoenix Drop he lost that title. He still sometimes introduces himself as Sir Laurance by accident.

Next, Werewolves:

There are a few different kinds of werewolves: pure blood, half blood, and turned. Werewolf is the umbrella term used for any Lycan kind.

A pure blooded werewolf is also known as a Wolfer. These wolves do not have a human form, though they do have a human-like form (think how we usually see Bodolf or Lowell). They also have a pure wolf form or natural form, where they appear like a normal wolf, though slightly larger.

A half blooded werewolf is also known as a halfling wolf or halfling wolfer. These are werewolfs that are born of both werewolf blood and the blood of something else, be it a human, meif’wa, elf etc. These wolves have a pure wolf form, a pure human form, and the ability to show their wolf ears and tail while in their human form. Examples of halfling wolfers would be Yip and Leona.

And finally a turned werewolf is exactly how it sounds. A werewolf who was not born but rather turned. Their traits depend on what the wolf that turned them’s traits were. In Logan’s case, he was turned by a Wolfer, therefore has the traits of a wolfer along with a human form.

I also want to mention a bit about werewolf hierarchy.

Most werewolf villages are small and refer to themselves as tribes or packs, depending on if they are made up mostly of halfling wolfers or full wolfers respectively. Their leader is referred to as The Alpha or just Alpha. Never by their name unless it is someone they are very close to.

Finally Magicks Users, Witches, Warlocks, etc.

The term used for any type of magickal person is Magi. They are also sometimes referred to as Mystics, though this term is fairly outdated.

A magicks user is any person born with the ability to use magicks. Pretty simple. This does not include witches.

Witches are born witches, much like an elf is born an elf. It is a species not ability. Witches are born with a higher connection to the earth and have the ability to learn witchcraft rather easily, though they don’t all choose to. Witches are often female, but it is possible for a male to be a witch.

A mage is a person who is not born with any magicks or witchcraft. They give themselves Rune Tattoos and often Scar Runes, and teach themselves magicks. This often takes a very long time, so in some cultures (like Zerimar) they do this at birth so the child will grow up with the ability. Mages are outlawed in many places throughout Ru’aun.

A Shaman is a mage who teaches themselves magicks for religious purposes, usually under the faith of Irene or another Divine Warrior. In Castor, the Chicken Shaman’s case, it was under the faith of the chicken gods… or something… no one really knows..

A Demon is a bit blurry. Not much is known about them other than that they come from another realm and are often evil.

A Shadow Knight is anyone brought back to life (or in Laurance’s case transformed against his will) by the Shadow Lord in the Nether. A Shadow Knight that has not claimed their immortality is often referred to as a “premature” Shadow Knight.

A Divine Being is anyone with borderline unnatural magickal abilities, or anyone able to master both a magicks and witchcraft. They are believed to be either divine beings or divinely chosen.

And FINALLY, a Warlock is anyone who falls under any of these categories (aside from the last three) and uses their abilities solely for evil, their own selfish gain, and/or to deceive others.

4.If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Ok Ive been thinking about this for a while now but The disastrous life of Saiki K. Here me out

Saiki would take one look at Akashi and be like hell no. Appears to be perfect like teruhashi?No Has another person inside their head?Double No Wears his school jacket like a cape?Triple No

Akashi would be way to extraordinary for Saiki and hes friends with Kokomi. I also think it would be really funny if Saiki used telapathy and heard Bokushi and Oreshi conversing in his head. He would be flabbergasted imo

I also want to see the showdown between Kokomi "gods favourite" Teruhashi and Akashi "I am absolute" seijuro. Akashi would definitely be the perfect pretty boy of the school. He would have a version of the Kokomins as well lmao.

People(aka Nendo) would mistake Akashi for Saiki and Saiki would be pissed lmfao.

Ok Im invested now, Ill continue talking about this AU in another post.

5.What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

Literally every MARINA song. But If I had to pick Id say "Oh no!"

This line from the song Things to do resonates too though.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

I already made a post compiling everything I hated about fanon akashi but Ill say it again.

People make him out to be some psycho who is obsessed with kuroko and hates everybody else. They give him no other personality other than scissors, tetsuya and being absolute as if he isnt so so much more than that.

Oreshi doesnt even exist in the heads of people who do this. But it has gotten much better over the years and most of the fandom has finally gotten a good grasp of hos character so thats nice.

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?

This came at the perfect time cause Im actually working on a GoM as emoticons thingy(maybe a few other characters) so I might as well share my akashi emoticons. You can guess who is who.

Either Dark Academia or Light Academia he fits both tbh. But I think he looks good in dark colors so dark academia.

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)

I have a lot of akashi ships(by that I mean a lot) I have to go with MayuAka, NijiAka, MibuAka, and MidoAka(I cant pick one Im sorry it fluctuates)

16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?

AkaFuri tbh I see them more as best friends(Furi giving Akashi a taste of normalacy)

17. What's a ship for this character you don't hate but it's not your favorite that you're fine with?

Romantic AkaKuro. I just feel like their relationship is so much more than romance. You cant describe their relationship with the word romance. I see them more as queer platonic partners.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

Again cant decide between Nijimura, Mayuzumi and Mibuchi so Ill explain my thoughts on all.

Nijimura was one of the only people who treated akashi as what he truly was, a child. He took him out for snacks, guided him actually cared for him you know all the reasons why niji is the best senpai. And Akashi really did look up to him and enjoyed being vice captain under him.

Reo is another person who treats Akashi(both of them) with so much kindness and love. Even If Mibuchi didnt(probably) like akashi romantically he would still care about him just as much. Like Akashi is his baby he loves him so much. And Akashi loves Reo just as much which is obvious given how he comforted him for the foul during the RakuSei match.

MayuAka is defo one of my favorite duos in series. They are the canon light and shadow duo for Rakuzan. Mayuzumi brings the much needed normalacy in Akashi's life like lending him his light novels(on multiple occasions might I add). But he also encouraged Akashi(in his own sarcastic way) even if he wasnt obligated to for how akashi treated him during the match. He forgives Akashi when he apologizes even though he could have rejected it. And Akashi likes Mayuzumi too. He frequently invites him to matches and outings(more like doesnt give him a chance to say no)(this was in cross colors btw) and quite literally tricked him into spending time with the other shadows(takao and kuroko). I think their relationship is very unexplored in the bigger sections of the fandom. Ok this got way too long Im sorry.

19. How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?

His relationship with his father leaves a lot to be desired. Now I dont think that masaomi is a bad person per say but he is a horrible father with or without meaning to. He blatantly neglets Akashi during his childhood and in his teenage years. He doesnt allow Akashi to mourn the death of his mother and only pushes him further. Akashi is forced to live up to his unreal expectations his entire life.

Now I dont think he doesnt love Akashi, I think that Masaomi is a man who loved his late wife but does not know how to give his son the love he needs and deserves partly because it was also how he was raised. Their relationship is overall pretty toxic and I can only hope that they talk through their issues when Akashi is older.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Honestly? Either Momoi or Takao.

Momoi is an insanely intelligent girl and If this wasnt already said this enough they would overthrow the world. AkaMomo friendship wasnt shown in the show because they knew it would be too powerful.

Takao is a positive and funny person. He is optimistic and one of his greatest strenghts is being able to make any situation funny. I know this has been mentioned before but both Takao and Akashi want to improve on something the other has(being a point guard for takao and being approachable and funny for akashi)

I think they would bring out the best in eachother. They would also make Midorima's life miserable which is a bonus.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

There's nothing in the fandom that I particularly hate other than the people who hate her tbh. In all the fics Ive read she is pretty badass and cool.

But her haters istg. They either hate her cause they find her love for kuroko annoying or because she gets in the way of their gay ships or whatever(I absolutely despise when female characters are hated because they " get in the way of m/m ship")

They also dislike her because she body shamed riko but tbh her calling riko's boobs small is 100 times better than aomine kneeing his teammate in the gut dont you think🤨🤨

11. Would you date this character?

One word. Yes.

Momoi is such a sweet person overall, she is so nice and caring and kind. Yes her cooking sucks but I can cook well enough for the both of us. I know for a fact she would be a super affectionate girlfriend. Id be getting cuddles 24/7.

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)

AoMomo no competition. The childhood best friends to lovers. Momoi literally being Aomine's ideal girl, Momoi not realising that she likes Aomine because she liked kuroko. Aomine always protecting her no matter what. The two of them being throught thick and thin with eachother.

I just love their relatioship whether or not it is platonic or romantic.

Summary:

A Descender along with Lumine and Aether, she grew up and traveled alongside the twins. When the three reached Teyvat, Ophelia felt like something was off and decided to wait for the twins while they explored this new world. After they failed to return, Ophelia went to find them herself, and she was immediately apprehended by the Heavenly Principles and remained dormant. She would wake up a bit after the Traveler and lay low until she reunites with them right after they start their journey (where she also meets Paimon). Ophelia was obviously distressed when she found out the Traveler's sibling was missing, and promised to stop at nothing until they were reunited and could finally leave together. Obviously, that wouldn't last long, as when the sibling is revealed to be part of the Abyss, her world shatters. This leaves both Descenders in shambles, and while the Traveler chose to bottle their feelings up as always, Ophelia chose to vent her complicated feelings by destroying every monster she could find for a while after the reveal, even though Dainsleif told them that the creatures of the Abyss were once human. She eventually calms down, but would act more hostile to the Abyss sibling whenever they're brought up.

Ever since she was little, Ophelia knew that her purpose was to protect the twins that took her in since she has no memories of her original colony. Since she is a "Guardian", Ophelia is not a force to be reckoned with, her only (canonical) loss being when going against the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles (note: she didn't participate in the initial battle with Ei during the 100th vision seizing ceremony, if she did, she probably would've lost :p). Ophelia believes it is her duty, her reason for existence, to make sure the Traveler makes it to see the next sunrise, and if they're hurt, she can never really shake that it was somehow her fault. When she learned about the Abyss sibling, her anger came from the betrayal of one of her closest friends being responsible for such horrendous actions and her self-hatred for not being there for them, even though that wouldn't be possible. Other than that, she tries to live her life to the fullest, creating bonds along her travels. She wouldn't trade spending every day with the Traveler and Paimon for anything, even though she was initially a little jealous when she thought the Traveler was trying to replace her with Paimon.

Even though she loves the Traveler very much, Ophelia sometimes feels like she is outshined by them, and dies a bit inside when residents of Teyvat sometimes don't know who she is. Although she has a lot of self-control, Ophelia sometimes goes a little too far in battle, especially when she's angry, to which Paimon and the Traveler a little concerned about. There was one incident where she beheaded a Lawachurl after dealing with a particularly annoying hilichurl camp, put the head on a stick, and put it on display for all the hilichurls (and unlucky explorers) to see.

In my story, the Traveler is Lumine, but I've been keeping it ambiguous up to here. Either one of the twins, Abyss or not, can be seen as Ophelia's love interest, but I personally try to pair her with the Abyss sibling because I'm a sucker for friends to enemies to lovers)

Oh Anon I know exactly what you are talking about, although I hadn't heard the Lexi/Stefan one until now that just seems like she's talking just to talk. Thank you for the welcome back! I missed this site and now that it's usable again (it was awful for a few years) I came back since it's the only site not taken over by ad-based algorithms and influencers. Plus now that I'm doing a TVD rewatch maybe I'll try to write some mini-metas if I feel inspired (the smut I can't promise as much I have complete writers block sadly.)

My thoughts under the cut because this got long oops!

Lets get to that tweet that started this discourse again, which I'm sure that was her intention, and honestly, I think she believes that on some level but it's simply not true. And I don't mean not true in the sense that the Stefan and Elena couldn't have been endgame because of how the story evolved after Nina left (or even before) but because they absolutely could have been! In fact it would have been rather simple to give Stefan and Elena an implied endgame with only having Nina for the finale. I remember a few weeks before the finale there was a pretty easy to believe "spoiler" of how they could pull it off. Basically Damon dies instead of Stefan, Elena wakes up and Caroline compels them both to forget about vampires, witches all of Mystic Falls etc. to protect them. Then there's a time jump where they run into each other again as strangers and do the whole "I'm Stefan" "I'm Elena" meet-cute from the Pilot and 5x18 visions. All that full circle jazz and now they get to be together without all the baggage so viewers can theorize how that unfolds. I can't even emphasize enough how EASY they made this a possibility when Stefan turned human (probably why I felt so much dread when I knew they were going to do that). This was also around the time the SE King Kevin Williamson (who also likes to blame Nina for not getting his endgame) and I cannot believe he wouldn't have been all for this. Hell lets even go back further because Nina told them at the beginning of S6 she was leaving so they had all of S6 to redirect the story back to Stefan and Elena, which again would have been easy with the mind-erase storyline and Damon being dead, but they didn't! They made them super platonic and after years of hints made Stefan and Caroline a main love story.

So yeah sorry Jules that is not the reason Stefan and Elena weren't endgame, they had tons of time to redirect the storyline. Even if she was determined to have Stefan and Caroline get together she could have done that, had them break up for good during the 54678 obstacles she put them through and then had Caroline date Enzo (kill me) before sending her off to Klaus (because apparently that was also a possibility until Caroline married Stefan if you're keeping track).

So what's the real reason Stefan and Elena weren't endgame? I'm not going to pretend like I know for certain but I do have a working theory, I don't think they could have made Stefan and Elena endgame without hurting Caroline's ending and that was more important to Julie by the end. I know lots of people will probably think I'm crazy for saying that but it is truly what I believe. Especially after seeing where Caroline started (like it was painful watching how prop-y she was treated in S1 during my rewatch) and where she ended up (last vampire standing running a magic school in the Salvatore house one of the biggest landmarks in the verse). I don't see how Caroline's ending wouldn't have taken a hit if Stefan reunited with Elena, even if she was the one who compelled him to forget about her. Instead the show used Stefan and Elena to prop Stefan and Caroline in the finale! They made it so Stefan couldn't find peace until he was sure Caroline knew he got her message and he'd love her forever too (the teaser cut away shot and "there's something I have to say" sells this IMO). That's what Julie used to set-up Legacies as the foundation of the school, it was Caroline's love for Stefan and how he helped her become the best vampire ever and now she's doing the same for supernatural kids. Candice King confirmed this in an article when Legacies ended, it's also implied via song in the Salvatore musical episode of Legacies about the founding of the school. That might be why Julie said it would "dishonor Stefan" to make Klaus and Caroline get together because she still needed Caroline's love for Stefan to be strong even in death, that's why this parallel lives in my head rent-free.

I'm sure some people will say it was because of Damon and Elena and their powerful chemistry and love story but that's for people who give a damn about that relationship (not I) who genuinely believe the writers HAD to deliver the chin kiss endgame.

Alright so in a rough timeline of events:

Episodes 1-3: Harper gets thrown onto Team Freakazoid after one of the contestants dropped out at the last minute. She doesn’t really get on with anyone, except Charlie. They start to bond, mostly by making snide remarks about Chris and the challenges to make the other laugh, or Charlie infodumping about history nerdy stuff and Harper listening. They’re really hitting it off as friends.

Episodes 4-7: Harper’s beginning to crush on him. He seems unaware. It’s all set up like a “pining x oblivious” friends-to-lovers speedrun. Harper talks about Charlie in the confessional, he acknowledges that he thinks she’s really cool, other characters start to clock Harper’s crush.

Episode 7ish: There’s probably some couple-oriented challenge a la the Niagara Brawls challenge or the kissing dare in Pahkitew, and Harper and Charlie are right there in the forefront. Just to reeeeeally hammer it in. Anyway, afterwards she ends up asking him out and he says yes. (Cut to Charlie in the confessional: “This is… good. This is great! A girl who I think is cool, and funny, and I guess objectively attractive, is into me. This is a good thing. Of course it is. No-brainer. I’m happy about this!” He sounds more like he’s trying really hard to convince himself this is true.)

Episode 8ish: It all culminates here. They’re officially together and Charlie is having a teensy little crisis. Everything he’s heard from his family to his peers to the media he consumes tells him that this is something he should be happy about. So why the hell does everything suddenly feel worse? Harper picks up on the fact that something’s the matter, but doesn’t get a chance to ask him about it before the challenge starts.

Stuff happens, episode shenanigans ensue, but the two of them eventually end up alone together with no interruptions, to finally Have An Honest Conversation. An uncharacteristically embarrassed Charlie manages to explain that he doesn’t actually think he likes Harper like that, and maybe… he was just trying to convince himself that he liked anyone like that. He didn’t know if it was because he was too antisocial, or just didn’t have many people he got on with, but now he’s actually had the full experience of being In A Relationship with someone who he enjoys the company of, who likes him and by all accounts he likes too (even if it’s not the same way)… he’s realised that it’s always going to feel wrong somehow. Harper’s surprised, but tries to understand. She tells him it’s okay and to be fair they kind of rushed into things and would it be okay if they stayed friends? Because for what it’s worth she still enjoys his company and wants to be his friend.

Neither of them have had a best friend before. And once that’s sorted, they click way better as best friends than they did as a couple.

(Cut to Harper in the confessional: “Am I bummed that my first actual relationship lasted all of one day? Eh… kind of, I guess. But this? This is honestly way better.”)

And episodes 9ish onwards they remain friends and return to the same dynamic they had in the first three episodes and the rest is history.

My favorite movie is Ladybird all the way, that movie holds a very special place in my heart. I don’t really have a favorite book tho, I like them all for different reasons but I am especially passionate about all the Percy Jackson books as well as a lot of different Steven King books. I absolutely love classics and that’s what I read the most of but especially more Russian classics like Dostoevsky and Tolstoy but really any philosophy that just makes you think yk. Similarly The Stranger by Albert Camus has been on my tbr for ages now and I’m hoping to find a French and English version when I’m in France. I’m a huge fan of Edgar Allen Poe and really just poetry in general as well. Oh also I love Animal Farm by George Orwell and I own a completely illustrated version of it that is arguably one of my prized possessions!!!

So I watched some of the Twitter takeover. It started to make me think about the and it fascinates me how much shadow tries to be a good person in the Twitter takeover and genuinely is deep down. It’s not because I think he is an evil character he’s an anti hero with methods that go against what the hero would do in a similar situation but he isn’t evil. No it’s the implications that it has for sonic adventure two that fascinates me. Shadow was created as weapon for the government. However Gerald robotnik in also created him to be a protector and a healer. He was given the purpose to protect the earth and help us his biology to help find a cure for Gerald’s granddaughter Maria. Even in the beginning of shadows life there is the fight between the good and bad sides to to him the part that was made to be a weapon for war and the part that was meant to heal Maria and protect the earth. Gerald and Maria were the only family shadow had, so when g.u.n raided the arc and killed Maria all that was taken. Before Maria dies shadow promises to protect the earth and he himself was sealed away in stasis. Gerald went mad at the loss of his granddaughter and the man who wanted to protect the earth now wants nothing but his downfall. He channels that rage into shadow, he rewrites his thoughts and his memories to fill out his plan to wipe out the earth. Shadows very identity was changed and because of that he is breaking his promise to Maria he’s becoming the weapon that g.u.n wanted. But Gerald’s plan failed because of the fact that he made him like Maria, he made him a protector. I think that learning what Gerald did has a great effect on shadow. Gerald was protective and fatherly force in his life, he cared and trusted Gerald, he gave him a purpose that wasn’t the weapon g.u.n wanted from him. I think Gerald turning shadow into a weapon to get his revenge feels like a betrayal to shadow, he hurt people against his own will. Gerald who cared about shadow, in the end took away his free will and treated him like a tool in the end, not like a person. So I think the things that he says he does like volunteering is a way to for him to prove to himself that he is still good, he is still in control over himself. He chooses to honor Maria’s memory because after Gerald’s betrayal to him she’s the only one from his family that he wants to honor. Honoring Maria and doing what he thinks she would have wanted I feel is his way for making up for what Gerald made him do in sonic adventure two. Another thing that interest me is sonics freedom and shadows lacks freedom.

-I think Meera has a twitter and spam instagram where she complains ab her problems and wonders if she’s a lesbian in the captions of cute animal memes (im projecting) and Jojen solely uses his instagram to identify bugs and plants and sometimes rocks. Stannis has like a very professional Facebook page for his business/election campaign or whatever and he has like five followers and sometimes Robert comments under his posts while he’s drunk

3. My thoughts on their design/aesthetic alone

-god I have so many thoughts. Meera is just such a kind looking girl (and Ellie Kendrick made me gay) who dresses like a bog person and throws nets and spears 10/10 no notes I love you swamp wife. Jojen is similar but he’s a sickly swamp boy which makes me sad but it’s an interesting character design I care him. Stannis is soooo fucking good like having his brothers height and strength but none of their charisma and also he’s balding is actually hilarious. Absolute unit of a depressed man

Stannis also eldest daughter syndrome! He is repressed he is dutiful he is angry he only ever did what was expected of him and got jack shit in return but he keeps on trudging on cause that’s what he has to do I want to bite something

-Meera and Dany are girlfriends and love each other this is canon to me actually. Meera and Robb would be friends I think and Sansa too :,) Jojen is such a little old man nerd I think he’d like hanging around Davos bc he respects little old man nerds (like Shireen, they would be friends too). And Stannis has never had a real friend in his life besides Maester Cressen and Davos but I think he has a grudging respect for Kevan Lannister. Dutiful second sons the both of them. Davos tries to get them to become actual friends bc he’s tired of being the only homoerotic codependent relationship Stannis has

9. Headcanons about their past

-I think Meera, not Jojen, has been raised to take over House Reed. She’s a natural leader and I’m sure Howland knows his son is gonna he paste anyway. Jojen probably used to want to become a Maester and study the higher mysteries before he got his death dreams :( Stannis was probably considered being sent to the citadel too, but I think Steffon decided he needed to stay by Roberts side to be his voice of reason which obviously turned out really well

10. Content about them I’d like to see more of

-I need more Meera fanart pretty please I miss ny baby girl. I also want fics of either her and Dany or her and Jojen and the starklings getting into shenanigans. I would love to see more Jojen dream analyses too, and posts connecting him to Cassandra and other literary references I live for that shit. I am honestly stuffed to the brim for Stannis content bc my entire tl is just Baratheon blogging but I will never say no to more fanart of him, sad old man stavos fics, or analyses on his character!!!

however!! i have moved over to honkai star rail, so i have decided to kind of change this blog into hsr stuff. all my genshin stuff will still be there, of course, but since the release of hsr, i have deleted genshin and converted completely to hsr!

A while ago there were some jp fans (men side) that were starting to question if iz///ch would even have content at all, since for a long time Katsuki was the one fitting into the tropes Ochaco was supposed to be fit for. Some even wished Katsuki was a girl, so they'd be more comfortable shipping him with Izuku.

And now, more and more of the anime focuses on those very minimal, but mood changing alterations between Izuku and Ochaco. And what that other person in one of your posts said, they might be trying to make Heroaca appear more comfortable for a close minded audience, by making it look stereotypical in some aspects.

This is just me putting on my tinfoil hat, those are probably not even big enough but just a studio's mild biasis lmao

It sucks that some fans would feel comfortable shipping BkDk if Bakugou was a girl. I imagine a couple of things that could come out that.

Bakugou would probably be far more liked had he been a girl because boobs

Or far more hated for several reasons: mean girl/ochaco is a better choice, flawed girl characters aren't allowed to be flawed

Be reduced to being the love interest, despite while having some traits of one, people won't see Bakugou for being Bakugou just as some people don't see Uraraka for her personality traits

And yeah, Anon, I feel like that's the case, too. Truth be told, it wasn't until this season I did being to notice that the anime tends to give more IzuOcha significance.

Mostly because while I read the manga, I don't pay attention to differences until later, and I just don't look for any shipping crumbs on the first watch.

Thinking about it, it's almost as if the studio is throwing in more Ochaco/IzuOcha crumbs to give her some more popularity. Which while, some shippers may like it, it just doesn't work with how it's being done. I can see the studio adding more scenes of her, giving more merchandise and whatnot to up her popularity. But to do that while erasing the other characters' importance?

In a way it's almost like she cannot stand on her own. She can't have the spotlight when it's her time, but given the spotlight when that spotlight should have gone to that other character.

Also, it's like some people would not care for her unless she was Izuku's love interest, or at least displays traits as one.

Which sucks for her because all it does is put her in the stereotypical role of "the main girl is the male protagonists love interest and that's all she's good for".

Even with Bakugou's character having more of the "love interest traits", there are others who still see his relationship as "brotherly" (😶), at best platonic.

All in all, it's homophobia and misogyny coming from all kinds of ends.

Uraraka can't be important unless somehow Izuku is involved in a romantic sense and Bakugou and Midoriya could never be romantic because it makes people uncomfortable.
