we been knew she could pull off being a big star. one of those wombo combo writers and actors who ends up starring in one or two or a few of the adaptions of her own works on top of the other things she stars in. i could see in some worlds her also(/or) releasing music tbh

speaking of—Of Course as an actress she primarily works on period or fantasy pieces because she loves the drama and romance of them. other than that i could see her being a hit in rom-coms, romances, musicals, and thrillers. i would personally kill for a maeve role in a period paranormal film, i simply think it would be dope

an absolute hoe for con panels, online interviews and podcasts guest spots because it's the perfect excuse for her to get all passionate and eager to share about her works with the folk who are the most interested. don't let her do any of those puppy interviews because she'll want to adopt all of them by the end of it

legally obligated to make a joke about her having her own taika/tessa/rita moment in the media of the cameras catching her with more than one partner. which leads into her being ardent about openly talking on her polyamory & bisexuality whenever she can to spread more proud and positive representation.

one of those celebs who was in the spotlight from birth because both of her parents are famous. grew up a media darling and ate up all the attention, probably became an influencer in her late teens because of being so active on social media.

unfortunately i know in my heart that she would be the worst little diva imaginable when she first starts working because she's been spoiled her entire life. real big "i'll be in my trailer k bye" "i want this very specific flavor of ice cream that's only sold out of country ready for me or i'll throw a fit" "yeah i'll wait for my driver who cares if i'm 20 minutes late" kind of energy. people put up with it because she's pretty, is surprisingly good at acting, and her daddy's the one who got her those first roles and everyone loves him so they don't wanna make him upset by bringing up the fact his daughter's kind of a brat ://

has a new partner on her arm like every damn month. probably becomes a whole Thing for fandom and certain media outlets to predict which co-star she's going to start hooking up with whenever the cast is announced for her next project tbh

the majority of her roles are rich characters because she plays the part well and positively adores being put in expensive wardrobes. can't be convinced otherwise that her most well known role wouldn't be some type of princess in a fantasy or historical, she'd eat that shit up. the material, the wardrobe, the constant instances of people addressing her ass princess in interviews which needs to be stopped her ego is big enough as is please god

she's probably been involved in multiple instances of people recording her in embarrassing/shameful/private moments and selling the clips off to online tabloids. being shamed by her mother for behavior at a party in some back room, a loud break-up outside of her hotel at 1am, talking mad shit about one of her co-stars while drunk outside of a club as she waits for her driver, etc etc. hopefully she grows up and stops behaving like that lmao

I hope everyone who claims they want to be with me knows that i’m not this hard dom all the time. Yes I post about the many dark and sadistic fantasies I want to do someday, but that’s all they are. Fantasies. In fact, i’m actually a complete nerd and a huge one at that.

I can infodump constantly about the different conspiracies I have or about my favorite game for hours, bring you different rocks and things I find and explain to you how they were made and how old they are. Talk about certain points in history and give you facts that I know you aren’t going to remember but I say them anyway just because someone new is listening, I could go on and on.

Growling and repeating faux sympathy and all those degrading praises they love so much while marking their neck with bites and scratches from holding them in place as I abuse their little frail body until I had my fill.

Then it’s right back to the sweet, loving boyfriend from before until it inevitably repeats. I guess in a way you could say it’s almost like a golden retriever but yknow, in a scary way.

so i've been doing a doctor who rewatch with my flatmate, which is giving me whole new avenues to think about doctor who meta from

and i wanna talk about this moment

the dalek emperor asks "so prove yourself, doctor. what are you, coward or killer?"

and i think the full context of his response goes a little underappreciated

because especially if you know a lot about doctor who, this line seems fairly obvious. still poignant as hell, but we know the doctor, and we know he's the man who'd always make that choice, it's built into his very mythology

except this is nine

and the choice he's being offered is whether or not to use a weapon that will kill every living thing in its radius - it'll wipe out the daleks, but the range of it also includes the entire earth. you can finally stop the war, but you have to sacrifice a planet you've come to call home, and all of its people, in order to do so. and you'd better act fast, because the daleks are waging war right now, people are already dying - if you don't do something, they're going to wipe out the human race anyway

logically, he should. logically, he has to.

but this is a doctor who is fresh of the heels of making that same choice! he already did it! not too long ago, with his own world in the balance, he proved himself killer, once and for all. what's one more planet, compared to all that? one more planet, to prove it wasn't all worthless? if you let them go now, you killed your own people for nothing

i don't think he knew, until he got his hands on that trigger, what choice he would make. he was certainly planning to be able to do it. and it's not like he stopped being a soldier after the war, when he met that one lone dalek he did everything in his power to kill it, to make the war finally over, to make it worth it. nine doesn't want to be a killer, but he knows that he is. and he's proven it many times this season

until right now. staring down his worst enemy, his worst nightmare, knowing that if he acts with mercy here he'll condemn the universe to destruction, he does it anyway. throws everything aside to give the devil itself the kindness neither of them deserve

this isn't just the moment he declared himself the man who never would. this is the moment he became the man who never would

and time lord regeneration's a funny thing. same man, new man. same memories, new personality, new goals, new ideals. and sure, some aspects of that are random, but there's still a chain of connection. each new incarnation becomes who they are in response to how the last one ended. the 50th enjoyed going into the differences between ten and eleven, how eleven ran away from everything that the doctor was before, played up the childish and the trickster and never fully looked at all the horrors in their past, because ten couldn't help but take responsibility. he considered responsibility the only moral option, but at the end was still so angry that this weight never stopped dragging him down, that he could never make the selfish decision. the world isn't fair and i don't want it to end like this, i see so much of that in eleven

and that defining moment of nine's that birthed ten, that's right here

the man who never would is a line stolen directly from the doctor's daughter. ten is the doctor who holds up genocide as the worst crime someone can commit, no matter the circumstances. ten who will let a dalek go just to avoid causing another. ten who won't touch a weapon of any kind unless absolutely necessary. who doesn't even want to be in the same room as a gun. it all comes down to this moment, with nine against the end of everything, in the final hours of his life

handed an identical choice to the one that changed his life forever and saying never again.

Hi folks! Wanted to send out the interest form for the event as it draws nearer; the timeline is gonna be pretty loose because I want it to be flexible for y'all. Here is the introductory post in case you missed it that explains a bit more about the event, but there's also an explanation in the form!

Here's the rough plan for the timeline:

January 28- mid-February: Interest form open

Mid/Late February: Discord open, prompt selection

March 26- April 1: Open the AO3 collection and ask that all fanworks be posted during this week
