summary: You call your wife and decided to show her just how much you miss her
warnings: 18+ MDNI phone sex, guided masterbation, fingering, only thing on my wishlist this year is nasty phone sex with wanda
word count: 3k
It had been about five days since your wife left for her business trip, and to say you missed her was an understatement.
The house held a heavy silence as you settled into bed for the night, pulling the comforters up to your waist, feeling a subtle emptiness creep up when you looked at the empty bed space next to you. Prompting restless tossing and turning until you ended up facing your nightstand, the soft glow of your digital clock highlighted a jumble of trinkets: a small bowl cradling Wanda's extensive collection of rings, and a few pairs of earrings, a forgotten mug of now-cold tea, a petite bottle of hand cream, and a book precariously hanging off the edge
Your eyes continued to run along the smooth wood until they landed on a framed photo of you and Wanda, Captured during last year's anniversary celebration, Wanda had taken you into the city your faces slightly pushed together, painted with toothy grins as you both bundled up in thick winter coats leaning into each other for warmth.
Your heart swelled as you looked at the photo. Wanda's bright grin and sparkling eyes, filled with so much love, only made the ache you felt for her at that moment worse. She truly was the best partner you could ever ask for, always so attentive and devoted to you, making you feel like the most important person in the world, and in her eyes you were.
She was so sweet to you, calling and texting you whenever she got the chance, in between meetings or as she was leaving the hotel. Always eager and enthusiastic just to hear your voice on the rare occasions your timings synced up. Given the distance, Wanda was behind by two hours, leaving your calls awkward to match up, always missing each other by a few minutes. When Wanda was just waking up you were stepping into the office, and when she was leaving work you were already asleep.
You supposed she was eating dinner right now, probably with her co-workers or indulging in takeout from the Italian place she had previously mentioned. You felt silly, missing her this much when she had only been gone for a few days.
As you continued to look at the photograph you felt something blossom inside you, shifting slightly, your foot began to run up and down the side of your leg as your thumb swiped over her face in the picture. It felt like it had been an eternity since she last touched you, which you knew wasn't true as she had made sure to give you an extra memorable morning before she left for her flight, fucking you into oblivion before giving your limp body a sweet kiss goodbye.
You returned the photograph to the nightstand and rolled over in the bed until you were pressed against Wanda's pillow, you shamelessly dug your nose into the fabric, the scent of her shampoo and perfume invaded your senses and made you feel like she was right there with you. Your body temperature increased and your clothes started to feel a little too tight around your body.
Before you could rile yourself up anymore, your phone lit up the room with a loud ring. You smiled when you saw Wanda's contact name appear on the screen,
“Hi honey” your tone comes out huskier than you expected, you hear the sound of a door shutting from the other side of the call,
“Hi sweetheart, I didn't wake you did I?” Wanda attentively asks, feeling an immediate warmth as your voice reaches across the distance.
“No, not at all” You answer, readjusting yourself so your back is propped up against your headboard “Did you just get back?”
“Yeah, we got out early today,” She tucks the phone between her neck and shoulders, and you can hear the sounds of ruffling clothes, as both her hands are occupied with unbuttoning her suit jacket.
You bite your lip, imagining Wanda coming home in her work clothes. her hair messy from the walk home, the collar of her white shirt undone, looking so sexily disheveled. You sat up straighter in your bed, not wanting to get too carried away.
As the minutes passed you fell into your usual routine, exchanging the details of your day, from the mundane to the extraordinary, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Wanda listened attentively, her genuine interest was evident in the thoughtful questions she posed and the occasional chuckle at your natural charm. In turn, you hung on every word as she recounted her workday. The familiar cadence of her voice brought comfort, making it feel as if she were right there in bed with you.
Eventually, she tossed her jacket over the back of her chair, flopping down onto the bed in exhaustion, letting out a breathy sigh that you didn't miss.
“You sound tired, are you sleeping okay?” you questioned, whilst massaging the divit of your palm against the top of your thighs, trying to dry the sweat that had formed.
“No,” she huffed out, rolling onto her back, and placing one hand over her stomach. “The bed is terrible, the sheets are so scratchy and the mattress is too hard, I'd much rather be back in our bed, with you.”
Her unfiltered honesty made you giggle and you smiled, knowing that Wanda had a tendency to not receive a good night's sleep if it wasn't spent wrapped up against your side.
“I wish you were here too, I miss you.”
"I miss you too," she replied honestly, staring up at the popcorn ceiling, picturing you doing the same. Your back is flat against the mattress, hair sprawled out along the pillows, your shirt slightly riding up your torso, exposing your skin. Her thoughts began to slip, and it was becoming harder to focus on the conversation. The sultry tone of your voice played in her mind, and she couldn't help but imagine the sensation of her fingertips tracing patterns on your skin.
“Yeah?” you purred, your voice smoothe against Wanda's ears. She didn't fail to recognize the familiar switch in your tone, and she felt a rush of excitement start to fill her.
“Yes baby, so much, I hate being away from you.” She rasped out, closing her eyes when she heard your breathing start to pick up. The atmosphere between you two shifted, becoming heavier and more intimate.
“What do you miss about me?” You pressed, wanting her to fall into the same lusted haze you were trapped in.
“Everything” She immediately responded, as if she had been waiting all week to answer this question. Wanda's fingers absentmindedly traced circles on the edge of the bedsheet as she continued, “I miss touching you, and feeling you against me, I can't stop thinking about it”
A quiet sigh escaped her lips, her imagination running wild with the vivid memories of you together.
“Tell me more” you bit your lip, pressing and rubbing your thighs together in anticipation. Your head felt fuzzy, and your arousal swelled, a throbbing pulse resonating from your core, working yourself up so much you felt as if you were going to explode, You weren't sure if it was because you haven't seen your wife in almost a week, the distance amplifying your neediness for her. Regardless, every word exchanged over the phone was igniting a spark in you that needed to be taken care of.
Wanda's voice dipped even lower, as she happily obliged to your request “I keep thinking about that morning before I left, how loud you were and how pretty you sounded”
“My strap couldn't even stay inside you, it kept slipping out because your pussy was so wet” she teased you, already knowing your cheeks were flushing a vibrant red in embarrassment. She ran a hand down her stomach, her skin felt ablaze, a heat coursing through her that made every inch of her body tingle. She slowly unbuttoned her dress shirt, the cloth splitting apart and falling down the opposite sides of her torso, until only a black bra remained covering her upper half. Her hand fell down her breasts, lightly squeezing them and letting out a moan right into your ear.
You sighed, listening to her husky voice, the vibrations from the phone tickling your jaw. You felt a familiar wetness start to pool and you sunk lower into the bed until you were flat against the sheets. Wanda hears you rustling around the bed and presses the phone harder into her ear.
“Fuck baby, I miss you so much” You let a moan escape your lips, your hands slipping under the blankets to begin stroking yourself over your underwear. “I've made myself cum twice since you left, just thinking about you”
A throaty moan escaped her lips involuntarily, immediately painting a vivid picture of you in her head. You, alone in your bed, your hand buried between your legs, moaning her name. The sound echoed in her ears, remembering nights when she made you sound just like that. Your voice, now a seductive whisper, only fueled her daydream, making her cheeks flush as she felt a wave of desire wash over her.
“God, you're really turning me on right now” You heard the metal clicks of Wanda fumbling with her belt, with an alarming speed, she shed the rest of her clothes throwing them across the room so they were out of her way. She pushes herself farther up the bed and slides under the covers, her hand immediately finding her wetness, where she starts rubbing gentle circles to her clit.
Your hand slides under your panties, running a finger through your pussy and spreading it all over your folds and clit. The whine that reverberates inside your bedroom encourages wanda to do the same. “What are you wearing right now?”
You don't even open your eyes, which were squeezed shut, already knowing exactly what you had on “Just my underwear. the red ones”
Her grip on the phone tightened and she let out a string of curses, she knew exactly what you were talking about. The pressure she has on her bud gets harder imagining you in her favorite pair of panties, how pretty and fuckable she knew you looked right now, and how she couldn't do anything about it.
You slowly push a finger into your slippery walls, and an immediate sense of disappointment washes over you. A frustrated whine escapes your lips as you miss the expertise of your wife's fingers, vivid memories playing in your mind of how Wanda's touch could make you scream and cum within minutes.
"I need you so bad, Wanda," you confess, the desperation evident in your voice. Tightening your hold on the phone, as if it were your only lifeline to her. "It doesn't feel as good when I do it.".
Wanda's heart beats faster, hearing your desperate little whines, trying to find any hint of pleasure to relieve the ache she wasn't there to take care of. Wanda promised her self as soon as she arrived home she would fuck you so good, long and hard, taking you in every position possible, just what you deserved for being her good, patient wife.
"I know, baby," she purrs, her words weaving a tapestry of lust. "Just close your eyes and imagine my touch, my fingers doing all the work." Wanda's explicit instructions and encouragement make you throb, and you start to squirm against the bed eagerly awaiting her next command.
"Go slow, baby," Wanda instructs, her voice a sultry whisper through the phone. "Add another finger and curl it, just like how I do it." You let out a low moan, attempting to replicate her movements. Though it's not quite the same, it's undeniably better than before. Sliding in another finger, you leave it there for a moment, feeling your walls squeeze and flutter around it.
Gently curling your fingers, flashes of Wanda flood your thoughts. Pushing them deeper, you can almost feel her presence, as if she's right there with you, guiding your every move. In your mind, Wanda is on top of you, deep inside your pussy, praising you as a good girl. The image is so clear you start to feel twirls of pleasure forming in your stomach.
“That's right, honey, just like that” Wanda's voice is shaky, listening to you wholeheartedly follow her commands. You were so obedient, her precious girl. “Now, arch your back”
You do exactly as she says, the tip of your head falls back against your pillow and your ass digs itself into the mattress. Your pleasure immediately deepens and you start to move your fingers faster,
Wanda mirrors her instructions, pumping two fingers in and out of herself, letting out deep groans right into the phone. As she listens to you on the other end, pleasure-laden sounds and breathy moans fill the air. She can hear your pussy making the dirtiest sounds, loudly squelching everytime you jut your fingers in. She wishes she were there to witness it in person. Frustration builds as she hears the most beautiful sounds escaping your lips, and the fact that she can't do a single thing about it heightens the tension.
"I can hear you, how wet you are," she moans out, beginning to lose herself in the pleasure. "Is that all for me?
“Yes, all for you,” you breathlessly respond, your hips bucking up to match the rhythm of your fingers, desperately chasing your high. “you're making me feel so good”
The once-pristinely ironed sheets are now a tangled, wrinkled mess as Wanda's whole body squirms and writhes against the bed. She uses her thumb to rub at her clit, her mouth falling open at the sensation. Her eyes lock shut, entirely focused on creating vivid mental images of you that bring her closer and closer to the edge.
She felt her pussy tighten around her fingers, thinking about all the times she had made you cum, your adorable face scrunching up into an expression exclusively reserved for her played vividly in her mind. The memory of your eyebrows sewing together, your thighs wrapping around her, and your desperate attempts to cling to any part of her body for comfort lingered in her thoughts. On those particularly heated nights, she would work you up to a point where deep red lines would be etched into the skin of her back. stinging and aching so deliciously the next day.
When she tells you to go faster, you feel your orgasm rapidly build and the room starts to feel hazy. Thick with heat and the sounds of your and wanda's moans. You pump your fingers faster, and you can see them glistening with your juices everytime they pull out, just to be greedily plunged back in.
"Fuck, say my name,” she commanded, her final plea as she felt her self getting so close, needing to hear you scream her name while you both came on your fingers
You meet her request immediately, "Louder," she insists, and you obediently start repeating her name over and over again, getting whiner everytime. Your head was emptied of all thoughts other than Wanda as your fingers repeatedly hit that spot inside you.
“Wanda, oh god wanda”
Your voice started getting higher and louder. Wanda could tell you were about to cum, she started fucking herself harder wanting to be right there with you when you fell apart. She felt the phone start to fall out of her grip and just before she was about to fall over the edge she switched on the speaker button and let the phone fall out of her hand and next to the side of her head.
“Is my messy girl gonna cum? just from my voice.”
You parted your lips to respond but your mouth fell open wider when your orgasm suddenly ripped through you. Your eyes rolled into the back of your head as her name spilled off your lips in sharp moans and gasps. Your hips bucked up and down trying to prolong the sensation for as long as possible
Hearing all of this, Wanda fell into her orgasm with a matching intensity. Her thighs shook around her hand and she tossed her head to the side. One hand gripped the pillow to her face, muffling the loud moan of your name. Trying her best to keep quiet since the hotel walls were known for being thin.
Your breathing slowed, feeling your orgasm begin to subside, your back fell limp against the bed listening to wanda do the same.
“Well, that was certainly different” Wandas voice returned, although much deeper and huskier as she struggled to catch her breath, You could practically hear her smile as she relaxed into her post orgasmic bliss
“In a good or bad way” you questioned, sitting up on one elbow and throwing your frazzled hair over your shoulder.
“A good way, a very good way,” she assured, letting out a satisfied sigh. Her eyes grew heavy, and you could hear the rustling of the bed as she began pulling the comforters up past her shoulders, tucking herself in. She let out murmurs, whispering about how much she loved you and that she would be home soon.
You smiled knowing how tired she gets after sex, part of you dimming with the realization that you weren't there to hold her to sleep. Yet, you reassured yourself—she would be back home with you by the end of the week, just as she promised
Opting to stay on the call tonight, you recharged your phone and placed it on top of your pillow, close enough to hear Wanda's tired breathing, a comforting sound that soothed you to sleep. Just before you fell asleep, her voice broke the silence.
“Let's Facetime instead tomorrow”

Being the daughter of the man that leads the church choir means attending the services when you run out of excuses to be anywhere else, but a young woman who's recently joined the parish to become a nun has begun to make your time there worthwhile.

Every Sunday since your dad joined the church as their choir leader, you’d been making yourself busy in advance just in case he’d ask if you wanted to come to the services.
You were proud of your dad — really, you were — because he loved music and loved the community the church brought him, and the church was closeby to where your mom worked as an elementary school teacher, so your parents were able to work together when there were community events that involved both the school and the church.
Though, being happy for your dad didn’t mean you also had to be happy when he invited you to the services.
Sometimes you’d attend special occasions like Easter and other holidays and church events wherein your dad prepared his own assortment of music and such for the choir to play, but only because you were there to support him and what he was passionate about — music and community and his family.
Such events were big deals at the church he volunteered at because it was well-known for its large community; the church itself was closely connected to a nearby convent where it had close ties to the nunnery there, as well as having one of if not the most ornate architecture all preserved within a historically-significant religious landmark.
But for the last few weeks, he hadn’t asked you to go with him because he was so busy with the new influx of students joining from the Catholic elementary school your mom worked at; they were all there singing on the weekends for their volunteer hours, but at the very least, your dad said they were still enthusiastic and friendly kids.
So on the morning of one of the very rare occasions in which you hadn’t had anything planned for the Sunday because you weren’t expecting him to invite you as he hadn’t for the last while, your dad invited you to the service.
You could’ve truly made up an excuse and flat-out lied about being busy, but it’d been a while since he asked and you knew he’d been working hard with the new students in his group, so you supposed it wasn’t so much trouble to accept his offer, even if you did groan it out in a superficial fit about having to get out of bed earlier.
It wasn’t that you not being religious had anything major to do with avoiding going to church, because you didn’t entirely mind when your religious parents brought you to the services for special occasions, but rather because you didn’t very much have the patience or sufficient concern for the readings and worship to attend the nearly-two-hour services.
That was truly your most pressing issue with attending the Sunday services with your dad, but today was different, with an unexpected experience to make you dread going even more than you did previously.
“Excuse me?” a timid, unfamiliar voice chirped from behind you.
You turned to see a young woman standing by the doorway of the back hall where the entrance to the choir balcony was.
Typically, you sat around there when your dad was conducting because you weren’t very involved in the church enough to sit at the pews nor were you part of the choir.
But from where you were sitting, you weren’t entirely uninvolved as you could still see and hear the services — it was the perfect spot.
“You aren’t allowed to sit here,” the young woman told you, running the pads of her two fingers along the edge of her sleeve.
Her dark brown hair was neatly pulled back into a conservative bun and she was wearing a black plain dress with a modest plain scoop neckline to show the buttons and collar of the crisply-ironed long-sleeved white blouse underneath that all of the church’s nuns wore, but the simplicity of her outfit and the uncovering of her hair meant to you that she was presently studying at the church to become a nun.
“I’m the choir dude’s daughter,” you said with a polite smile and looked away, expecting for your response to be all the elaboration she needed.
In a way that was subtle with the intention not to be offensive but in that very manner was offensive in itself because of how irritating her caution was, the woman cleared her throat.
“I-I know,” she pressed, “but this area isn’t open for seating. For anyone.”
When you didn’t answer for a moment as you stared at her, she quickly said, “I’m sorry. They told me to tell you.”
“I’ll find a spot in the pews,” you answered and collected your things.
From the corner of your eye, it seemed that she wanted to offer a seating alternative just to make up for what she was forced to tell you, but there wasn’t very much else she could offer.
That Thursday, you were back at the church to pick up an ironed uniform for your dad; it was for a special event set for the upcoming Sunday, and the church pressed it for him and everything.
It was a nice gesture.
They were nice people.
On Thursdays, there were only morning services and events for children in another spacious room where they could colour and play with the church’s team leaders and nuns.
But in the afternoon — which it now was — there wasn’t anything going on.
When you arrived, the church was still and warm with gentle sunlight shining through the stained glass windows and casting a myriad of colours against the pews.
You looked over your dad’s text again and walked through the directions he told you to take to get to the back halls of the church, just a few turns from the stairway that led up to the choir balcony.
The room where you were to pick up the uniform was as pretty as the rest of the church; it was a small prayer room with a pedestal and stained windows and red carpeting, but it was much cozier and probably hadn’t been used for prayer for the group size it was designed for in a little while.
You could see through the glass door the folded uniform for your dad on the windowsill behind the pedestal with a name tag placed on top of it ready for pick-up along with a few other clothes for some other church volunteers.
Upon entry, you closed the door quietly behind you and stepped into the room where you could now see a small table by the window and a familiar young woman sitting with a notebook, jotting a few things down from what looked like a leather-bound book.
“Can I just get my dad’s uniform from there, or do I need to sign it off or something?” you asked, announcing your presence.
She looked up from the notebook and at you then to the uniforms on the windowsill.
“Oh, you’re…” She paused and thought for a moment. “The choir conductor’s daughter?”
“Yeah.”
“I can sign it off for you,” she replied and smiled.
She stood from the table and walked around it to the uniforms, where a piece of paper was set beside the line of neatly-folded clothes.
You watched as she jotted down a few things onto the paper with a pen before carefully picking up the packaged uniform and turning to hand it to you.
“Thank you,” you answered.
“Of course. Have a good day,” she replied and bid you a goodbye before heading back to the table by the window.
You were on the way to leave the room, but you couldn’t, for some odd reason, take your eyes away from the way she lowered herself into her seat and resumed her notetaking.
She didn’t notice when you changed your direction and walked towards the table she was sitting at until you were perhaps just a metre away from her, when she then looked up from her notes and up at you.
“Did I give you the wrong uniform?” she asked, worried and now standing up from her chair.
“No,” you answered quickly and waved your hand.
She stayed standing, curious as to why you walked back.
“Hard at work?” you asked, pointing at her notebook.
Confused for a moment, perhaps by your curiosity in speaking with her, she looked over to her notebook and then back at you with a friendly smile, “Yes, a little. They gave me something to study from. I’m just taking notes.”
Carefully, you reached forward and spun her notebook around so you could read it.
Her curiosity seemed to spike when you leaned forward to read her notes, and she looked at you with a small smile.
“Um,” she started awkwardly. “I want to apologise for earlier this week. For making you move seats.”
“Oh, it’s fine,” you replied and looked up from her notes to smile at her reassuringly. “I know they just made you tell me because you’re new.”
The young woman seemed reassured, her shoulders even relaxing a bit when you said it.
“You’re still… What do you call it? Like, you’re studying to be a nun here? Not fully one yet?”
She shook her head.
“Yes, I’m in the study period before becoming a novitiate,” she answered.
Your fingers ran over her delicate handwriting, feeling the indentations of her pen against the paper.
“To worship and submit,” you read aloud from the notebook. “Fascinating.”
She caught onto your twinge of sarcasm but approached it with humour, laughing a little and conceding, “It is a bit medieval, but an important quality, I’d presume.”
Reflecting suddenly on how young the woman seemed much younger than the other nuns, you asked her, “How old are you?”
“Twenty-four.”
She was a bit older than you, but still quite young.
Her hair was down now, though still neatly brushed and free of frizz and tucked behind her ears. She was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and an ankle-length black skirt patterned lightly with gardenias.
“How did you get into wanting to be a nun, anyhow?” you asked and moved your attention away from the notebook and towards her. “You don’t seem like the type.”
“I-I don’t?” she inquired, almost sounding nervous at the implication that she wasn’t training herself properly.
“I mean, pious and submissive — sure,” you said, referring to her notes, which made her seem a bit flustered, “but not like a nun.”
She questioned curiously, “More like…?”
After humming aloud in thought, you turned to her with your hip laying against the edge of the table and suggested, “Elementary school teacher. Vet. I don’t know, something like that.”
She was pretty — truly.
Cute, even.
“When I was younger, I wanted to be a vet,” she told you, smiling sweetly.
“Changed your mind?”
“Younger as in quite young, perhaps around ten,” she recalled. “My parents are both rather religious and ever since I turned fourteen it’s always been their intention to have me join a congregation.”
Interest piqued, you asked, “And your intention for yourself was…?”
“For myself?” she repeated as if taken by surprise.
You nodded once.
She paused for a moment to hum thoughtfully before saying, “I was happy to follow whichever path my parents intended for me.”
“You find passion in nunnery?” you asked. “Genuine question — not judging.”
“Of course,” she answered.
Your phone buzzed in your pocket and you quickly checked it to see that your dad had messaged asking if you were able to pick up his uniform.
“I’m sorry. I’ve been holding you back from something,” the woman apologised and stepped to the side to allow you to leave.
Sliding your phone back into your pocket and adjusting your dad’s uniform in your hand, you replied, “No, not at all. My dad’s just impatient. I should get going now though, since here’s a few errands I have to run before noon.”
She nodded in understanding.
“It was nice being able to talk with you,” she then said. “I haven’t been able to talk with very many people since I came here. It’s all just been about studying and the church.”
Before you left, you made sure to ask for her name, to which she replied telling you it was ‘Wanda.’
Cute name.
It’d been quite a while since you ever attended the services two weeks in a row. The last you did was during the last half of August the first year your dad started conducting the church choir, during which you had nothing else to do but wait for classes to start — so you went to the services.
This time, because the church was celebrating something special, your dad asked both you and your mother to attend the service because he’d been working on preparing a set of songs for the occasion.
Under the guise of being a supportive daughter, your parents didn’t second guess why you were so willing to attend the service this week, nor did they ask if there was a certain individual you were perhaps a bit excited to see again.
Truthfully, you couldn’t stop thinking of Wanda since you last saw her a few days ago. There was much to her you felt laid dormant and sleeping, awakened only just in the slightest during the conversation you had with her. She was kind and curious, but also painfully naive.
She was a few years older than you but knew far less about the truth of her own ambitions and strayed perhaps not even a foot’s distance away from behind her parents’ shadows.
Wanda was interesting, but intrigued you for far too long for her to be only that. Though you couldn’t very well figure out what it was about her that made her bounce around in your head like a pinball until an unassuming evening.
It was sincerely an unrelated act when you first started, travelling your hand down between your legs in the silence of the evening to relieve yourself of the pent-up stress from classes that’d come over you during the last few days.
Truly, it was completely unrelated to Wanda and anything and everything about her when you started, and even during, until you reached your peak of release and found your imagination flashing with curiosities about what she looked like under her garments, how she’d squeal if you spanked her ass and if she’d like it, or how she’d cry out in sheer pleasure if you forced her down and made her take her spankings regardless.
For a moment afterwards there was guilt, but every day onwards there was curiosity, wondering for hours about what you’d seen when you reached that point of pleasure during which Wanda was your only muse.
You’d like to tell yourself it was only that curiosity that guided your willingness to attend the service with your parents, but it was something else entirely too — something completely carnal.
For the first hour of the service, Wanda was still nowhere to be seen. Because of the church’s connections with its convent, the nuns had a large role in some of the day-to-day happenings, but mostly during important church events like what you were presently attending.
Wanda wasn’t a nun yet; she was yet to be even a novitiate as she had mentioned, and so perhaps she just didn’t get to attend events like these.
Though you personally found that counter-productive, you weren't one to complain about the convent’s decisions, but you did wish you got to see Wanda.
If she wasn’t one to be able to attend such events, when would you see her next?
After coming to the realisation that you probably just weren’t going to see her today or perhaps even for a little while, you excused yourself after having been present for nearly all of your dad’s song arrangements and with enough time to be able to be back from the washroom with well-enough time to catch the rest of his songs.
To your surprise, you saw the very woman who’d been on your mind for the last hour was sitting in the hall by the stairway that led up to the choir balcony. She was wearing the same outfit as she had been the first time you met her, with her hair done up in the same way too.
“Excuse me, but you aren’t allowed to sit here,” you teased, approaching from the right and walking into the hallway.
She quickly swiped at her eyes and began to apologise before she raised her head and saw it was you who had spoken to her, and you who now stood beside the bench she was sitting on.
Though she smiled and seemed relieved and happy to see you, you could tell that she’d just been crying — alone in this hallway away from the service and the nuns and sitting at the far end of the bench so as not to be seen by the people attending the mass.
Wanda stood, running her palms down the sides of her dress with a friendly smile while saying, “You’re here.”
“Yeah,” you answered distractedly as you focused on the slight redness of her eyes and the tip of her nose.
You then asked once you were sure she’d been crying, “Are you okay?”
Suddenly feeling self-conscious after realising it must've been obvious that she’d been crying, Wanda carefully wiped under her eyes again and even tried making herself seem less dishevelled by tucking her hair behind her ears before you took her hands away from her face and made her stop fidgeting with her appearance.
“Seriously, what’s wrong?” you pressed.
Dismissively as to not bring any more attention to herself, she told you, “It’s really nothing. It’s nothing to bother you with.”
“I wanna be bothered,” you answered lightheartedly. “Come on.”
Wanda smiled at your gaiety and you urged her to tell you what was wrong once more before she finally exhaled in surrender though she didn’t sit down before speaking, implying that in spite of the fact of giving in to you, she wasn’t very well planning on delving too deep into what had been bothering her.
“Earlier today, I had accidentally misplaced the leather book I’d been studying from — the one you saw me with a few days prior, if you can remember,” she said. “And I was scolded terribly for it. It was quite deserving as it was an important collection of notes and such, so I do not question from where my scolding had come, but it seems to me that all I’ve done since I started here is get myself in trouble with the other nuns.”
Here, you tried taking her hand and urging her to sit down, but she wouldn’t, and slipped her fingers out of your hold.
“They found the book in one of the small prayer rooms I’d been studying in, so at the very least it was not a mistake of ruining the integrity of the book by losing it completely, but rather the very principle of having been given something so important and misplacing it,” she continued.
Wanda swallowed and seemed to be contemplating whether to go into more detail, and you could tell that there was something else that had been bothering her that didn’t exactly have to do with misplacing the book.
Before she had the chance to make a decision, there was a passerby who came from the service in search of the restrooms, which interrupted Wanda’s train of thought as she and the man exchanged a brief hello.
“We can go somewhere else,” you offered, taking her hand and heading down the hallway with her. She didn’t take her hand away from you this time, but instead told you that she only needed time to be on her own and that she was fine now.
The only other place you knew was the prayer room you picked your dad’s uniform up in, and fortunately it was unlocked.
You ushered Wanda into the room and she smiled at you from behind and you led her forward to one of the front seats in front of the altar, regarding you with admiration for the effort you put into wanting to express your concern for her and make sure she felt heard.
The early morning beams of light shone through the stained glass like they had that afternoon you’d come here a few days prior, but the room was far less stuffy now, familiar and almost reminiscent of something nostalgic.
The feeling could easily be because of the fact that you’d been envisioning what you could remember from it nearly every hour since that past Thursday, with the room in the background of your mental portrait of Wanda.
She settled down in the seat beside you, feeling encouraged more so because she wanted now to be closer to you rather than solely to sit and talk about what had been bothering her.
But she could partake in the latter if that was what you asked of her — and it was.
“I know that I hardly know you, but I’ve been here for nearly a whole month and you are the person I feel closest to,” she confessed.
You felt flattered, though you knew telling you that she felt close to you wasn’t exactly the point of why she said that.
Wanda further reflected aloud, “I’m getting nowhere I’m supposed to, not finding the call to God like both my parents and the nuns told me about though I have even given it plenty of time. I studied English in college and yet can find not even a little interest in my religious readings.”
While she thought in silence for a moment, you didn’t interrupt her.
When she found the words to verbalise what she’d been meaning to say, she began with a question: “Do you remember when you asked what my own intentions were for myself? On Thursday?”
You nodded.
“It’s ridiculous, but I can’t even recall the last time I sincerely asked that to myself, but perhaps in shallower terms, such as wondering where I might be in a few years or what I might do with my time in the convent.
“But never what I wanted — never who I wanted to be.”
After a moment, when you were sure she wasn’t trying to find words to express herself nor contemplating whether to say something, you asked, “And do you know who you want to be?”
For a brief moment — half of one, really — Wanda looked thoughtful, and then she said and gestured to her clothing and the prayer room, “Not this.”
“So then, what?” you inquired further.
You teased, “A vet?”
Wanda giggled and sat back a bit in her seat. “Perhaps if I were ten,” she said.
Then more seriously, she added, “But now, I’m not very sure.”
“How did you come to realise what you were interested in?” Wanda asked. “For example, your studies. What are you studying?”
She was talking fast, obviously very invested in your conversation together and also rather curious about you.
You thought that was cute; you liked Wanda.
“I’m studying philosophy,” you told her to which she straightened and was eager to hear more about. “But with studies, it’s different, because you’re talking about more personal matters. Academics are far different from personal paths.”
Wanda seemed a bit disappointed because she was looking for a definite answer, but what you explained certainly made sense to her.
She pondered about something then instead asked, “So about personal matters, then. What about those?”
“What about them?”
“Give me a principle to follow,” she sought. “Something I might be able to apply here. Something as general as you’d like it to be, but applicable.”
Her steadily growing smile made it clear that though she was certainly looking for advice, she also thoroughly enjoyed exchanging quips with you and exploring more about you.
In a way, she was as eager to learn about you than how to help herself, if not more so.
You hummed thoughtfully and Wanda watched as you were deep in thought.
“A principle for you,” you said, “could easily be that it’s okay to be selfish, to think only of yourself when you’ve spent so long doing anything else.”
Wanda asked, slightly amused but far more curious, “You recommend hedonism?”
“To you?”
She nodded.
You replied, “Indubitably.”
If you hadn’t already been thinking of Wanda in painfully great amounts before that morning, then you certainly were afterwards.
The third week came around and by then Wanda was banging against every square inch of your skull like an intruder, necessitating the need to be seen and thought of every other minute in any way you could.
Perhaps the relationship you developed with her thus far was one of friendship and nothing more, yet her persistence that never strayed too far from your mind seemed to you that she had become reminiscent of something greater than a platonic figure.
In any case, you had to muster the ability to ask your dad in the most nonchalant manner you could if it were possible for you attend Sunday’s service.
You did it in a way that did not make it seem to him that you were about to become a familiar face in the church, but rather that someone had simply happened to ask you for help during the last service and wondered if you might be able to attend the next — which is quite literally what you told him.
It wasn’t a lie.
Not even when you said that it was a young woman who was studying to become a novitiate at the convent that was curious about the choir and the other volunteers and had asked you about it last week, because Wanda did truly ask about the choir and the other people who volunteered at the church once.
But that wasn’t at all the reason why you wanted to attend the service that Sunday.
“Y/N,” a voice called in a hushed tone when you passed the hallway leading up to the choir stairway where your dad had already walked up towards.
You slipped away from the people filing into the pews and quickly came to Wanda’s side.
“Don’t you have places to be aside from fraternising with the guests?” you teased as she took your wrist and led you towards the room you both seemed to like talking in the most.
“After last week’s ordeal with the book, I’ve been put on some kind of probation from participating in the services so I have more time to study independently,” she told you, not seeming particularly worried.
She added, “On Sundays, the convent is rather empty, so they wouldn’t notice that I’m off not studying. Though I could very well say I chose to study in one of the extra prayer rooms here.”
“And I’m sure they remember how much you love the prayer rooms here,” you said, wiggling your eyebrows at your reference to her having lost the book in one of them.
Wanda faked a laugh in the driest manner you’d ever heard and you nudged her arm to which she told you to stop joking around with her so she could tell you something important.
She closed the prayer room door and sat you down beside her.
From a small bag on the chair to her left, she pulled out a small dictionary.
Here, you were tempted to make fun of her and ask why she was carrying around a dictionary so tiny, but you recalled that she had wanted to ask you about something serious.
She flipped open to a page she had bookmarked.
“Hedonism,” she read aloud. “In philosophy, the belief that pleasure and the absence of pain is the most important principle in determining the morality of an action.”
Wanda looked up at you from the dictionary. “This is what you meant?” she asked.
You nodded.
Curiously, you inquired, “Do you agree with it?”
She looked back down to the page in which had written three definitions of hedonism, the third being the one defined by philosophy.
The first two you could not quite read upside down.
“I have never heard of it in such detail before the time you mentioned it last week,” she said, running her eyes over the words in contemplation, “but it’s interesting.”
“What would be your first endeavour to pleasure, if you had to make a guess?” you asked her.
Wanda ran over the words of the definition again with her eyes, perhaps still deep in thought about it or absently doing so while she contemplated an answer to your question.
“My first?” she repeated.
You looked down at the dictionary page now that she was holding it at a slightly different angle that oriented the letters better for you.
The first definition read, ‘Pursuit of pleasure.’
And the second — you had to tip your head to the side a bit to decipher it — read, ‘Sensual self-indulgence.’
During your deep concentration, Wanda had come to an answer to your question, and it wasn’t until she leaned forward and kissed your unsuspecting lips that you realised she had even stopped looking at the page.
It was the uttering of her muffled words against your lips that triggered something deep within you, perhaps equally as restrained as her own.
An unfinished sentence, but one on its own nonetheless.
‘I want…’ she had uttered, breathless and with one hand cupping your cheek and feeling with the pads of her fingers the softness of your skin.
With that, you hastily reached forward and grasped at her ass, lifting her from her seat and stripping her down so she was in nothing but her undergarments.
The paths of your nails streaked red against her pale skin while you devoured her every step of the way, your lips following every inch of skin that became exposed to you while your hands made quick work of unzipping her dress and unbuttoning her blouse.
She sighed when you kissed her breasts and squeezed your hands around her waist and hips, taking her selfishly and finally spreading her legs and sitting her down in your lap.
“Are you…” you began between breaths, pausing to figure out your wording and sitting back in your seat to look at her. “Have you had sex?”
Wanda giggled, finding your question amusing. “Of course I have,” she replied and took your hands and placed them on her hips again.
“Cocky,” you jested, hooking your thumb under the clasp of her bra and releasing it so it snapped against her back, causing her to arch her body into you with a soft gasp. “Thought you might’ve been abstinent or something.”
“I don’t mean to be cocky,” she said in a low voice. “But I am certainly not abstinent.”
“Should I be jealous?”
“Only if you choose to be.”
“I choose to be,” you said with conviction. “So for whom should I be jealous, then?”
“College students.”
You gasped superficially.
“You fuck college students? Exclusively?”
“No!” she laughed. “I mean I haven’t been very active since my time in college.”
“Haven’t had sex since college?”
She corrected, “I didn’t mean that either.”
“So what did you mean?”
“This conversation is like pulling teeth.”
“Why? You want me to fuck you hard against this floor right now, baby?” you asked. The very crudeness of your words, albeit teasing, made Wanda’s breath hitch, and so within that reaction you found her first tell. “No foreplay or anything?”
“This isn’t foreplay?”
“Hardly.”
“Then what is?” she asked though sounding slightly pouty about it.
“Oh, don’t tell me you’re all turned on and impatient from just that. Teasing gets you off?” you pressed. “Didn’t even have to be told how I wanna see your gorgeous ass bruise when I fuck your cunt from behind like you’re my sick little fucktoy whore?”
Her hips twitched.
“Y/N…” she muttered, perhaps out of impatience or forewarning for how you were teasing her, either way you could not tell and weren’t very rushed in trying to figure it out.
You pulled her bra down and released one of her breasts, slapping it lightly with your fingers and causing her to gasp before pinching one of her sensitive pink buds.
There would be no indulging her past what you were willing to indulge; you were careful not to touch her more than what was intentional.
You bucked your hips up under the guise of adjusting your seating, grinding your stiff cock against the soaking panties which were now beginning to soak your pants.
Her cunt was sensitive beyond the thin fabric, causing the strap to rub her perfectly through her soft, swollen folds; you could practically hear how sticky she was without even looking.
“What is that?” she quickly asked, looking down between her thighs. She tried moving back to get a better look, but you quickly held onto her hip with your other hand and pulled her harshly back to her original position, making her throbbing clit rub directly onto your cock.
A strangled yelp was breathed past her lips.
“Don’t move unless I tell you to, you understand?” you told her.
She nodded.
“Everywhere else in this building, there is only one God, but here in this room, I am yours. You will listen to what I tell you and take what I give you, even if it hurts. You’ll be grateful that I make you hurt as much as you will when I give you pleasure.”
In spite of everything, Wanda repressed a tiny smile and said, “You’re scary when you’re authoritative with me.”
You laughed through your nose and replied, “I can get scarier.”
Her smile widened into a grin and Wanda’s hand came to the back of your neck when you leaned forward and kissed her, one arm circling around her waist and carefully slipping her off your lap as you stood from your seat.
“We’ll get caught,” she voiced concern against your lips.
“Then be the lookout.”
You made sure she didn’t trip on her way up to the podium, and soon you had her chest laid flat against the lectern and facing the front doors, the shadow of the large crucifix behind the both of you casted against the red carpet from the morning sun shining from behind the stained glass.
Wanda listened as you unzipped your pants and when she made an attempt to turn her head and look at what you were doing, you put your other hand against her upper back and pressed her back down, reducing her line of sight to your face and shoulder and nothing else.
Her clothed cunt was prodded at, the stiff tip of your strap finding her hole through her panties and nudging at it teasingly. She groaned impatiently and reached back to take hold of your hand, to grab onto anything and urge you forward.
In response, you spanked her harshly and made Wanda yelp out in surprise and wince.
“You dirty, impatient slut,” you spat.
She immediately whimpered, “I’m sorry, daddy.”
That satisfied something in you that you hadn’t even known you wanted, and you were more than happy to share in that satisfaction.
You hummed and tucked a finger under the waistband of Wanda’s panties, making her twitch impatiently while also doing her best to listen to her orders. Then you laid your hand flat against her lower back, rubbing her supportively and making a warm flush form across her face.
“You’re a good girl, aren’t you, Wanda?” you asked, looking up her bent-over half-naked body to the back of her head.
She nodded.
“Good girl,” she confirmed with a nod.
Gently, you squeezed her ass and danced your fingers up to the waistband of her panties that you finally pulled down, exposing her gorgeous, glistening cunt.
It took just as much resistance from you not to shove your cock right into her as much as it took Wanda to not thrust her hips back and grind her clit against your strap.
“Why don’t you tell me all you’ve been studying about the last little while?” you said, running a hand down her ass and sliding a thumb into her pussy, feeling heaps of pride with the way you slipped inside with no resistance.
She was incredibly wet and so, so warm.
Distracted by the way your thumb probed shallowly at her hole, giving her just enough pleasure to make her throb but just short of enough to satisfy her entirely, it took Wanda a few moments to regain her focus before she finally asked, “S-Studying? About what?”
“You’re a smart girl, Wanda,” you encouraged, slowly sliding your thumb out and grazing the pad of it lightly over her swollen slit and across the hood of her clit. “Methods on how to be a proper nun. For example, swear yourself to the Lord, abstain from sex, so on and so forth.”
Wanda swallowed and tried her best to focus with the way your thumb began spreading her cunt out, revealing to you the glistening folds of her pussy. She began stuttering and finally squeezed her eyes shut hard enough to be able to recall some of her studies.
“Um, there was…” she uttered and ran her fingers along the edge of the wooden lectern, “living in modesty; not showing off one’s body in any crude manner, not partaking in pleasures of the flesh.”
Three of your fingers began rubbing slow circles against Wanda’s hole, squelching against her dripping cunt and making her tremble and moan shakily.
“And what next?” you asked.
“I-I can’t… Can’t focus…” she told you helplessly.
Your thumb flicked at her clit and Wanda’s body jerked forward.
“One more,” you urged. “Come on. Give me one more good one and I’ll fuck you with my cock. You want that, don’t you?”
Intentionally, you began to focus on her clit now, having your index finger graze it as your middle and ring finger slowly began delving in and out of her sticky hole, purposefully making it even more difficult for Wanda to find the words for herself.
“I want… I want that,” she shuddered, hanging her head and squeezed her eyes shut again.
“So, then, give me one more.”
Wanda’s breathing deepened as she tried her hardest to focus.
With every intention to make it more difficult for her, you reached up with your other hand and pulled her bra down, allowing you access to knead her breast and feel her nipple harden against the palm of your hand.
She whimpered into her arm and bit down on her bottom lip.
You stepped forward and removed your fingers from her cunt to rub the length of your strap through her pussy, wet fingers taking hold of its base and running it through her swollen folds.
“A-Ah, Y/N, please…” she mewled, though neither of you were quite sure whether she was begging for you to stop and allow her to think thoroughly or for you to have mercy on her completely and just fuck her.
“One more,” you reiterated and aligned the tip of your cock with her entrance.
You placed both hands on her hips and began pulling her backwards, fucking her shallowly and watching her pussy take your cock with just as much anticipation as Wanda was struggling to withhold.
She hugged around you beautifully and it was truly only the tip; you couldn’t wait another moment to fuck her until she was begging for you to fuck her until it hurt.
“A-Another,” she finally trembled out, “is to be, by nature, a woman of submission, to worship your God and seek no amount of personal domination over–”
Fully satisfied with her answer and terribly impatient yourself, your fingernails dug into Wanda’s hips and you jerked her ass back against you, forcing her to take your entire cock in one swift movement.
She cried out and you wrapped a hand around her waist, running your nails down her side and feeling an inexplicable need to mark her, to cause her pain, to reduce her to a whimpering trembling, bruised mess so cock-drunk that all she’d feel for the next three days is the aftermath of being rough-fucked like a slut.
“Hit me, please, daddy,” she begged, wrapping her fingers around the edge of the lectern and arching her back.
So you did — repeatedly.
You spanked Wanda over and over, having the sound of your palm meeting her ass echo through the room and only reiterating to the both of you how she was much less of a nun or a student or any reflection of purity, but a braindead nympho whore good for nothing but getting her pussy fucked raw.
She was a loud fuck, crying out in whimpers and moans and other strings of partially-comprehensible words telling you how good your cock felt and how much she loved getting fucked by you.
The playing organs and belting choir playing during the service muffled Wanda out, but Jesus Christ, if any of them out there had been able to hear her getting fucked down the hallway, they might just think for a moment that it was the calling of an angel or at least something in some way divine.
But none of them would ever know what it looked like to fuck Wanda from behind, pulling her up with their hand around her neck so you had access to slap her face and spit into her mouth like you could, pinching her clit and fucking her through to her third orgasm.
How beautiful she looked, sweaty and a mess with her long brown hair fanned out and stuck in strands against her back, crying out in equal parts pain and pleasure and finding herself incredibly pleased by being used like a filthy object.
And you’d make sure no one else could get the chance to see the sight but you.
“I’m gonna come again, Y/N,” she cried, breasts pressed against the cold wood of the lectern and arms pressed against her back. “This is my last, please, I can’t take anymore.”
You let go of her wrists and wrapped an arm around her waist, lifting her from the lectern. She was arched at a slight angle so your arm could assist in continuing to fuck her, but she was now much closer, and she was now able to loll her head back against your shoulder.
“This is the closest thing a slut like you will ever get to heaven, angel,” you told her, kissing her temple. “Make your God proud and come on my cock, filthy bitch.”
Wanda reached back and held onto you for support while her eyes squeezed shut, her lips parting as a silent cry escaped her, her third and final orgasm coming over her without mercy.
You squeezed at her breast and leaned your head down and bit at her shoulder and up the back of her neck, getting in as many markings of your ownership as you could.
She sighed out and uttered your name, to which you ran your hands up her stomach, one hand moving up to her face and gently tilting her head over so you could kiss her lips.
Her knees buckled out and you carefully set her down on the floor before sitting down beside her. Wanda panted heavily into your chest, one hand on your knee and the other arm wrapped around your shoulder.
You had your arms around her waist, rubbing her back supportively and whispering in her ear words upon words of how beautiful she looked, how good she’d been for you, then soon confessing how much you’d been thinking of her over the last few weeks, how much of your mind she occupied and how much of your time you spent thinking of her.
Wanda liked hearing that last part most, but she particularly enjoyed when you told her how it felt to masturbate to her, to imagine her looking up at you and choking on your cock at your final point of release, and how really being with her was plenty more enjoyable and, quite frankly, more beautiful than you ever could’ve fantasised about on your own.
The both of you were on your knees, sweaty with the labour of sex and kneeling in each other’s arms at the foot of the towering crucifix, whispering and giggling to each other all the equally sweet and dirty confessions you could exchange before the service was over.

The Avengers Compound was bustling with activity. It was rare for the heroes to have a moment of respite, and tonight was one of those rare nights. Tony Stark had thrown one of his infamous parties, complete with music, drinks, and laughter echoing through the halls. The air was filled with a sense of camaraderie and celebration.
Wanda Maximoff stood near the edge of the dance floor, nursing a glass of wine as she watched her fellow Avengers unwind. She felt a warm sense of contentment as she scanned the room, her eyes finally landing on you. You were her girlfriend, and she adored everything about you. But tonight, you seemed... different.
Usually, you were a bit reserved at these gatherings, preferring to stay on the sidelines and engage in quieter conversations. But not tonight. Tonight, you were in the middle of the dance floor, moving with an exuberance and lack of inhibition that Wanda had never seen before.
Wanda's eyebrows shot up in surprise as she watched you twirl and laugh, completely immersed in the music. She took a sip of her wine, trying to make sense of this new side of you. As the song changed to a fast-paced beat, you and Sam Wilson—who was equally animated—started a spontaneous dance-off.
"Wow, she's really letting loose tonight," Natasha Romanoff said, sidling up to Wanda with a smirk.
Wanda chuckled. "Yeah, it's... different. But she looks happy."
Natasha nodded. "It's good to see everyone having fun. We don't get to do this often."
Wanda continued to watch, her amusement growing as you and Sam engaged in increasingly ridiculous dance moves. It wasn't until you both started a twerk battle—complete with exaggerated hip movements and laughter—that the realization hit her. You were drunk. Very drunk.
"Oh my god," Wanda muttered, half to herself, half to Natasha.
Natasha raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Wanda shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips. "She's drunk. I don't think I've ever seen her like this."
Natasha laughed. "Well, it looks like she's having a blast. Go join her."
Wanda hesitated for a moment, then set her glass down and made her way to the dance floor. She navigated through the crowd until she reached you and Sam. The two of you were in the middle of an enthusiastic twerk-off, drawing cheers and laughter from the onlookers.
Wanda gently placed a hand on your shoulder, trying to get your attention. "Detka?"
You turned to her with a wide grin, your eyes sparkling with joy and mischief. "Wanda! Come dance with us!"
Wanda couldn't help but laugh at your exuberance. "I think you've had enough dancing for now."
You pouted playfully. "But I'm having so much fun!"
Sam, still dancing, leaned over and grinned at Wanda. "Don't worry, Maximoff. I'll keep an eye on her."
Wanda smiled, appreciating Sam's good-natured reassurance. "Thanks, Sam. But I think it's time for us to take a break."
You sighed dramatically but allowed Wanda to lead you off the dance floor. As she guided you to a quieter corner of the room, you stumbled slightly, giggling.
"Wanda, did you see me? I was dancing like a pro!" you exclaimed, your words slightly slurred.
Wanda chuckled, shaking her head. "Yes, I saw. You were amazing."
You beamed at her, your happiness infectious. "I love you, Wanda."
"I love you too, detka," Wanda replied, her heart swelling with affection. "But I think it's time for some water and maybe a break from the dancing."
You nodded, leaning into her for support. "Okay, but only if you dance with me later."
Wanda smiled, wrapping an arm around you. "Deal. But first, let's get you some water."
The next morning, you woke up with a pounding headache and a mouth as dry as the Sahara Desert. Groaning, you rolled over in bed, squinting at the bright sunlight streaming through the window. Your head felt like it was splitting open, and you had a vague sense of dread about the previous night.
Wanda was already awake, sitting beside you with a glass of water and a gentle smile. "Good morning, sleepyhead."
You winced at the sound of her voice, even though it was soft. "Morning... What happened last night?"
Wanda handed you the glass of water, watching as you drank it eagerly. "You don't remember?"
You frowned, trying to piece together the hazy memories. "I remember going to Tony's party, and then... dancing?"
Wanda nodded, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Yes, you were definitely dancing. Quite enthusiastically, I might add."
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. "Oh no. How bad was it?"
Wanda laughed softly, stroking your hair.
"You were having fun, Y/N. It was nice to see you let loose. But there was one moment that was particularly... memorable."
You peeked through your fingers, dread growing. "What did I do?"
Wanda's smile widened. "You and Sam had a twerk battle."
Your eyes widened in horror. "We what?"
"A twerk battle," Wanda repeated, clearly enjoying your reaction. "In front of everyone. You both were surprisingly good at it, too."
You groaned again, flopping back onto the bed.
"Kill me now. I can't believe I did that."
Wanda leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. "It was actually pretty adorable. Everyone had a good laugh, and you seemed so happy."
You sighed, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and gratitude. "I'm glad I didn't do anything worse."
Wanda's expression softened, her eyes filled with love. "You didn't do anything wrong, Y/N. You were just enjoying yourself. And it was a side of you I hadn't seen before. It made me fall in love with you even more."
You looked up at her, feeling a wave of affection wash over you. "Really?"
"Really," Wanda confirmed, her smile warm and reassuring. "Now, let's get you some breakfast and some aspirin. You'll feel better in no time."
You nodded, grateful for her understanding and support. "Thanks, Wanda. I'm lucky to have you."
Wanda helped you out of bed, guiding you to the kitchen where she had already prepared a hearty breakfast. As you ate, she filled you in on the rest of the night's events, painting a picture of laughter, friendship, and unexpected dance battles.
As the day went on, you slowly recovered from your hangover, thanks to Wanda's care and attention. You spent most of the day lounging around the compound, avoiding the knowing smirks and teasing comments from your fellow Avengers.
In the afternoon, you and Wanda decided to take a walk around the grounds. The fresh air and sunshine helped clear your head, and you felt your spirits lifting.
"I'm sorry if I embarrassed you last night," you said, glancing at Wanda as you walked hand in hand.
Wanda shook her head, smiling. "You didn't embarrass me, detka. I was just surprised. It was actually nice to see you having so much fun."
You smiled, feeling a warm sense of relief. "I guess I did have fun. It's just... I don't usually let myself go like that."
Wanda squeezed your hand. "Maybe you should, sometimes. It's good to let loose and enjoy the moment."
You nodded, appreciating her perspective. "You're right. I'll try to remember that."
As you walked, you talked about the party, laughing about the different moments and the antics of your friends. It felt good to share these memories with Wanda, knowing that she understood and accepted you, even at your most uninhibited.
Later that evening, as the sun set, you found yourselves back at the compound, sitting on the porch and watching the sky turn shades of pink and orange. You leaned against Wanda, feeling content and at peace.
"Thank you for taking care of me," you said softly, resting your head on her shoulder.
Wanda kissed the top of your head. "Always, detka. I'm here for you, no matter what."
You smiled, feeling a deep sense of gratitude and love for the woman beside you. "I love you, Wanda."
"I love you too," Wanda replied, her voice filled with warmth and affection. "And I'm looking forward to many more adventures with you, whether they're as wild as last night or as peaceful as this moment."
You laughed, feeling a sense of excitement for the future. "Me too. With you by my side, I know anything is possible."

June 14, 2023
You had recently moved to West View, New Jersey with your parents. You'd be starting college here in the Fall along with your dad starting a new job in a week.
The hot summer air made you sweat even in your tank top and shorts, your tattooed body being shown off almost completely. Trying to get everything inside as quickly as possible was proving to be ineffective as you took a moment to collapse under the tree in your front yard, finding solace in the shade. “Gods it's too hot for this.” You grumbled out.
“Can I interest you in some lemonade?” You heard an unfamiliar, feminine voice ask from just above me as you opened your eyes. Your mouth drying up instantly at the sight of the beauty before you. Red hair flowing in waves over her shoulders, green eye like emeralds, her skin splashed with freckles not unlike your own face.
“H-hi…” You somehow managed out.
“Hi there I'm your neighbor, Wanda, Wanda Maximoff.” She pointed behind her at her house which looked identical to your house from the outside.
“I'm Y/N…Y/N Y/L/N.” Luckily your mother came over to save me from your awkwardness.
“Oh hello! I'm Y/M/N Y/L/N and my husband over there is Y/F/N Y/L/N. I see you've already met our Y/N/N.” You groaned, throwing yourself back down. “We just moved in for our little Y/N/N to go to collage and my husband to start a new job.” Your mother gushed.
“Ma please stop. I'm sure Wanda doesn't care about why we moved here.”
“Oh, but sweetie I do. I love the nick name by the way. Y/N/N.” The way it rolled off her tongue and her accent? Fuck it sent a shiver through you like it was the middle of December.
“Please just Y/N is fine.” You begged slightly not knowing if you could handle her using your name like that. “I'm going to go help dad. It was nice meeting you Wanda.” You told the older woman before leaving her with your mom for them to talk. Wanda was about your mom's age so probably twenty years older than me.
“Mom!”
“Mom!” You heard two different boys call at the same time as You came out of the moving van, the boys running up to Wanda. “We're going to go play with the Barton kids is that okay?” One of them asked.
“Of course boys. Go on and be back before the streetlights come on.” Wanda gave each of them a kiss on the forehead. When she leaned back up her eyes met yours. You felt your face flush at the thought of a kiss from the older woman before retreating into the house. The central air cooling you down.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
July 2,2023
There was a knock at the front door causing you to pause your game on your switch, getting up from the couch. Upon opening the door you were met with Wanda.
“Hi Y/N I know this is super last minute, but my babysitter canceled. Could you watch the boys?” Wanda asked desperately.
“Oh yeah sure of course I can.” You grabbed your keys and phone, following Wanda, totally not staring at her ass the whole time.
“Okay so here is $40 for dinner. Get them whatever they want it'll probably be pizza which the menu is on the fridge for their favorite place. Bedtime is 8pm. Billy is a little sensitive so if he isn't enthusiastic it's not you I promise. Tommy will probably try to pester you, don't let him. Oh and if I'm not back early and you get tired you can sleep in my bed. I'll wake you when I get home. Thank you for this I really appreciate it. Boys! Y/N from next door will be watching you tonight! Please behave for her!” Wanda called the boys barreling down the stairs and past you she gave each a kiss, “Be good you two. I love you.” She told them as they ran back off upstairs and it seems without much thought she kissed your cheek before leaving. Leaving you there with your face burning.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were scrolling through your phone, noticing it was past midnight. You didn't think Wanda would be gone this long. You didn't even ask what she was up to this evening? You got up from the couch, putting away the remaining pizza before quietly making your way upstairs. You checked on the boys who were fast asleep. Their sleeping faces made you smile as you quietly closed the door and found Wanda's room. As soon as you opened the door Wanda's scent of jasmine and sage overpowering you and sending a shot straight through your core. Closing the door behind you, swallowing hard as you sat on the bed; it is so soft. You lay down, your head on Wanda's pillow as her scent completely overtakes you and you can't help, but move your fingers between your legs, rubbing your clit furiously as you were completely wrapped up in Wanda. Moaning softly against her pillow as you came to the thought of her. You pulled your hand out, breathing heavily as you sucked your own fingers clean. You were in so deep and You knew it. It's not fair though Wanda didn't look like she was almost 40 she still looked like she was in her 20s and didn't have twin 5 year old boys.
You groaned against her pillow in frustration as You buried your face into it, getting under her duvet making it feel like Wanda was holding you and soon enough you fell asleep.
“Hey, sweet girl, come on wake up pretty girl.” You heard a gentle voice call.
“Mmm?” You turned to look over your shoulder, it was Wanda. “What time is it?” You asked sleep heavy in your voice.
“Really late sweet girl. You can stay if you want. I don't mind, I just ask that you move to the other side so I can sleep here on my pillows.” Wanda's voice was soft and she moved your hair out of your face.
You grumbled a bit, but moved over to the other set of pillows. You did move them ever so slightly to be closer as you turned to face her side of the bed as she settled in.
“Good night sweet girl. Thank you for everything.” You felt Wanda lean over once again placing a kiss on your cheek.
“Mmm s’ no problem…” You mumbled falling back to sleep almost instantly as her presence soothed you knowing she was home and safe now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You woke up in her bed, sitting up you rubbed your eyes as you heard a door open. Looking up to see Wanda through blurry eyes as you reached for your glasses on her side table.
“Good morning sweet girl. Did you sleep well?” Her unblurred form came into view, her hair was only slightly damp, a pair of dark gray, flared dress pants, a tucked in cream colored button down that she purposefully left the top ones unbuttoned to show her amazing cleavage off. She was currently grabbing a hair clip to get her hair up which once she did looked amazingly effortlessly beautiful.
“Good.” You manage as your breath hitches remembering what you did in this bed last night.
“Well you certainly don't have to stay, but I am making breakfast. Pancakes.” Wanda wiggled her eyebrows at me making me laugh.
“Can you make chocolate chip pancakes?” You ask shyly.
“For you? Yes. Come on.” She started making her way out and you followed, grabbing your phone.
The boys were already downstairs watching cartoons, Wanda giving them each a kiss on the top of the head.
“Why is Y/N still here?” Tommy asked, noticing me as You went to sit at the kitchen island.
“I told her she could stay the night because of how late I'd be getting back, is that okay with you little man?” Wanda asked and he shrugged.
“I guess. She's better than dad.” Tommy off-handedly states catching both Wanda and you off guard.
“Excuse me?” Wanda's voice is stern suddenly and it feels like You shouldn't be here.
“I'm just saying that I like her better.” Tommy spent one night hanging around you and is now stating he likes you better than the father you didn't even consider they probably have somewhere.
“Thomas Oleg Maximoff. I know things aren't the best with your father right now, but that isn't nice.” Wanda is stern with her son in this moment who recoils slightly.
“I'm sorry mom…” he says with his head down.
“I know you're having a lot of big feelings about everything going on between your father and I right now, but he's still your father.” Wanda's voice softens a bit. You hadn't really seen it other than in exaggerated tiktoks, but Wanda seems to have the gentle parent style, much unlike your parents who had a very authoritative style. The two hug it out before Wanda joins you in the kitchen.
She silently moves about the kitchen as she grabs things and when it comes to chocolate chips she has bags just about every kind you can think of.
“Which kind do you want sweet girl?” Wanda asks and you feel overwhelmed at first. You decided to do a triple chip of milk, white, and peanut butter chips. “I see you have a big sweet tooth.” She comments.
“Yeah. I always have. I used to get cavities a lot as a kid cause I didn't brush properly, but I got better as I got older.” You told her, grabbing a handful of chips which she smacked your hand playfully. You laughed and took another, sticking your tongue out.
“Oh naughty girl.” She teased and you felt a heat inside again as you shifted in your seat, trying to alleviate it slightly. You saw Wanda flick her eyes at you, before going back to her pancakes. Had she noticed? Surely she hadn't.
“Boys! Breakfast!” Wanda had gotten out a whole plethora of goodies it felt more like we were having dessert. Syrup, butter, whip cream, peanut butter, chocolate sauce. You'd never seen so much effort go into something like this.
You all moved to the dinning table as the boys dug into their stacks covering their pancakes in syrup until they were drowning.
Wanda grabbed coffee for the two of you and milk for the boys.
“Thank you.” You smiled taking a sip and revealed in the warmth it provided you.
“Of course sweet girl. Now tell me. You're starting college in a month right?” Wanda asked and you nodded as you ripped up your pancake, taking a bite.
“Yes. I took a few years off. Was only supposed to be a year then one thing led to another and it turned into three years.” You explained.
“So you're twenty?” You shook your head.
“Sorry I should explain I was taking a gap year from college after I had to deal with some personal things. I left college when I was twenty, planning to go back in a year, but now I'm twenty-three.” Wanda nodded her head.
“What will you be majoring in?”
“Well originally I was doing psychology. I wanted to go into children's psych, but realized it was a lot of work that I personally couldn't keep up with. Then I was thinking about history, but then I'd have to double major into teaching to do anything meaningful with it, so now I'm going for cyber security.” You smiled, finally explaining your weird college timeline. Wanda laughed a bit.
“You've certainly had an interesting ride, pretty girl.” Wanda leaned on the table and you didn't miss the look Tommy was throwing between his mother and you.
“Yeah I'm just happy to get back on track. The cyber security program teaches from the bottom up and I can get some pretty good offers through the college and freelancing is always an option. I'm already good at programming so maybe I can make my own security program.”
“I'm sure you can do anything you set your mind to pretty girl.” You smile and blush, bashful, at her compliments. You stare down at your mostly finished pancakes.
“Thank you…”

Tumblr media
“Last night, on trading spouses,” you told Wanda enthusiastically, leaning over her desk on your elbows.
“Uh huh,” Wanda nods, chewing on the end of her pen as she listens to your story with a smile.
“There was- oh, wait, have you seen it?” a look of realization comes across your face.
“No, actually, I have a life,” Wanda jokingly responds.
You laugh, “Interesting,” you played along, “What’s that like?”
“Fun, you should try it sometime,” Wanda quips back.
“Wow,” you said thoughtfully, staring off with a wistful look in your eye. “But then who would watch my TV?” you remark.
Wanda laughed agreeingly as she looked up at you from her chair.
“That’s sort of like a win-lose-” you continue until Tony’s voice interrupted your sentence.
“Y/N, can I see you for a minute please?”
Giving your favorite receptionist an apologetic look, you nod before following your boss into his office.
Wanda frowns slightly, sighing as she picks up her phone and gets back to work.
***
“I need you to help me decide on which healthcare plan the office should be on, then explain it to the rest of the office,” Tony says to you as you sit across from him at his desk, handing you the large stack of papers with the various healthcare plan options.
You nod slightly, “Wow, this is a great offer,” you point out, truthfully not believing your lie for a second.
“I’m glad you see it that way,” Tony replies with disinterest.
“But Tony, I really think I should be concentrating on sales,” you told him, holding back a smile at your plan. “I just don’t think this is a task that I’m well-equipped for, but I do know someone who is.”
“Wow, who’s that?” Tony answers monotonely.
“I think Sam would be great for this. You know, he’s smart, hardworking-” you sell your idea.
“Sure, yeah, whatever, go get him then,” Tony cuts you off.
You nod in agreement, smiling as you walk out of Tony’s office.
Sam was such a sucker.
***
“You did it again,” Wanda remarks, seeing Sam sitting in Tony’s office through the window, excitedly taking the papers Tony handed him.
“I did,” you admit, smiling at her as you're back at her desk once more.
“I can’t believe that actually works every time,” she says with a laugh.
You shrug. “Sam’s such a suckup that he’ll do anything to get on Tony’s good side. So, naturally, in his good nature he should be glad to do any task Tony gives him. Even the ones he gave to me first,” you say smugly, popping a candy from the dish at her desk into your mouth.
“You’re quite devious,” Wanda teases.
“All in a day’s work, Maximoff,” you reply with a grin.
***
Sam has fucked up awfully. You suppose it's no surprise since Sam has a limited understanding of natural human needs, however, his healthcare plan is basically as cheap as a gas station slushie. Everyone in the office is completely outraged.
You and Wanda have decided to attempt to convince Sam to fix his plan, as the health care coverage he’s chosen is basically second to none.
“Sam,” Wanda says as she opens the door to the conference room with you following behind her with your hands in your pockets.
“Wanda, haven’t you ever heard of knocking?! This is an office,” Sam says exasperated from the table he’s sitting at with papers scattered all over as you and Wanda stop to stand in front of him.
“It says workspace,” you point out, nudging your head toward the sign on the door, knowing Sam had argued toward the title of office, but Tony had told him no.
“Same thing,” Sam argues, reading over the papers.
“If it’s the same thing, then why did you write ‘workspace’?” you ask with curiosity.
“Just knock, Y/N,” Sam says frustrated. “It’s a sign of respect, and as your superior, I deserve that respect.”
“You’re not my superior,” you retort.
“Ok, well, then why do I have an office?”
You tilt your head slightly. “I thought it was a workspace, Sam?”
“Okay!” Wanda interrupts, putting a hand on your shoulder. “Sam, are you really in charge of picking the healthcare plan?” she asks the worker in front of her, crossing her arms over her button-up shirt.
“Yes, and my decision is final,” he responds with assertiveness.
“This is a ridiculously awful plan, Sam, you cut everything,” Wanda explains to him, her worry increasing at the fact that it might as well be considered as having basically no health care coverage whatsoever. You rub your hand slightly across her back, noticing the slight furrow in her brows indicating the fact that she’s worried.
Sam pouts in fake pity, ignoring the scene in front of him. “Well, times are tough, Wanda. Might as well get used to it.”
You narrow your eyes, his dig at Wanda irritating you slightly. “You cut more than you had to, didn’t you?” you cut in, knowing Sam’s lack of sympathy for anything related to the human race.
“Sure,” Sam shrugs without care.
“Well, why did you do that?” you ask, not understanding why he wouldn’t want health care coverage for himself as well. “You work here, Sam, don’t you want good insurance?”
Sam scoffs. “I don’t need it, Y/N,” he says obviously. “I’ve never been sick. I have a perfect immune system.”
You and Wanda look at each other in uncertainty. “Okay, well if you’ve never been sick, then you don’t have any antibodies,” you explain to him.
“I don’t need them. I have superior genes, I’m a Wilson. And on top of that, I have superior brain power. With extreme concentration, I can raise and lower my cholesterol at will,” he argues.
“Why would you want to raise your cholesterol?” Wanda asks, looking at Sam warily.
“So I can lower it, obviously.”
***
“Everyone, gather around,” Sam announces, stepping out of the conference room, looking frustrated.
You swivel around in your chair to face him, ready for whatever irritating thing will come out of his mouth this time.
“It has been brought to my attention that some of you are unhappy with my plan,” he says, his annoyance seeping through. “So what I’d like you all to do, is to fill out this form and write down any diseases you might be suffering from that you would like covered, and I’ll see what I can do, since you people are weak enough to get sick.”
You raise your hand, a clear issue in his plan sticking out to you. “Sam,” you cut in, and he looks at you irritated. “Well, we can’t write down our diseases for you because that’s confidential.”
Sam rolls his eyes. “Okay, well, I didn’t say to write your name down, did I?” he answers sarcastically. “You can fill it out, and leave it anonymous. Or, don’t write down any disease at all, and it won’t be covered. “Sam slams the forms on the shelf next to the wall. “Alright, I’ll be in my office.” He retreats back into the conference room.
“Workspace,” you remind him.
Sam slams the door closed.
***
You stand at Wanda’s desk, the two of you filling out your forms together in silence.
Looking over at Wanda, you notice her biting back a smile as she fills out her form.
“Wait, what are you writing?” you ask with curiosity.
She looks up at you with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“Don’t write ‘Ebola’, or ‘mad cow disease’,” you tell her, her smile faltering slightly. “‘Cause I’m suffering from both of them,” you grin, showing her your paper.
Wanda laughs. “I’m inventing new diseases,” she reveals.
“Oh, great,” you lean further over her desk, intrigued.
“So, like, let’s say my teeth turn to liquid,” she describes. “And then, they drip down the back of my throat, what would you call that?”
“I thought you said you were inventing new diseases, Maximoff,” you wave your hand in an obvious gesture. “That’s spontaneous dento-hydroplosion,” you describe with a smile.
Wanda looks at you, impressed. “Nice,” she states.
“Thank you,” you respond, smiling as you watch her write down the fake disease excitedly.
***
“Y/N!” Sam growls from the conference room, rushing out the door. “All right, who did this?” he yells, holding up the forms.
“What are you talking about?” you ask with a tilt of your head, still standing at Wanda’s desk.
“Someone here forged medical information, and that is a felony,” Sam accuses, narrowing his eyes at every one of the office staff. .
“Whoa, that’s a pretty serious accusation there, Sam,” you warn, holding up both your hands in fake surrender. “How do you know that they’re fake?” you ask him.
“It’s obvious, Y/N,” Sam retorts. Reading out the diseases, he lists, “These hysterical diseases like, flesh-eating bacteria.” You snort.  “Hot dog fingers.”
“Wow, that sounds awful,” you whisper quietly to Wanda who snickers at your dig.
“And my least favorite,” Sam reads out. “Government-created killer nano-robot infection.”
Wanda looks up at you cheekily, and you widen your eyes, impressed.
“You did this, didn’t you?” Sam accuses you, as you turn back around, narrowing his eyes.
“Absolutely not,” you answer calmly.
“Yes, you did.”
“No, I didn’t.”
“I know it was you,” Sam argues. “Okay, you know what,” Sam says frustrated. “I’m going to have to interview each and every one of you until the perpetrator makes him or herself known. And until then,” he pauses. “There will be absolutely no healthcare coverage for anyone!” Sam yells out, retreating back into his workspace and slamming down the papers in anger.
Holding in your smile, you ask, “Killer nano-robots?” you inquire to the receptionist in front of you.
“It’s an epidemic,” Wanda shrugs with a playful glint in her eyes, smiling at you.
You shake your head in amusement.
***
“The problem, Y/N,” Sam starts.
“Mhm,” you acknowledge, sitting across from him in the conference room.
“Is that the people who are really suffering from a medical condition won’t receive the care they need, because someone in this office is coming up with all this ridiculous stuff.” He picks up a form.
You listen with fake intrigue.
“For example, Count Choculitis,” he reads out.
You whistle. “Sounds tough.”
“Why did you write that down, Y/N? Is it because you know I love Count Chocula?” he says with seriousness.
“Do you?” you ask.
“I think you need to confess,” he explains.
“Mhm,” you nod, standing up out of your chair.
“The fact-”
“Yup.” You grab his keys from his desk.
“What are you doing?” he asks in confusion.
“What?” you ask, as you open the door and walk out.
“Those are my keys, Y/N,” he tells you, slowly standing up out of his chair.
“Good luck,” you tell him, starting to close the door on him.
“Y/N!” he sprints after you, the door closing before he can stop it from closing. “Damn it!” he slams his palms on the door window in frustration.
Locking the door completely, you hold the keys by their key ring to taunt him, then smile as you throw them behind your back where they land across the room.
“Let me out!” he bangs on the door.
“No, I don’t think I will,” you retort, plopping yourself down at your desk as you can’t stop the shit-eating grin on your face.
***
You smirk as your phone starts to ring.
“Y/N L/N,” you say mockingly as you answer.
“Let me out,” Sam says immediately through the phone.
“Who is this?” you reply, swiveling around in your chair to face him as he glares daggers at you.
“Let me out or you’re fired,” he fights back.
“No, you can’t fire me,” you say as you turn back around, putting your feet up on the desk.
“Yes, I can, I’m the manager for the day,” he retorts.
“Mhm,” you nod, not believing him for a second.
“Clean out your desk,” he continues.
“Ok.”you reply, when suddenly,  your phone rings again. “Can you hold on one second?” you tell Sam as if you’re speaking to a customer. “I’m getting a, uh, beep.”
“No, don’t you dare put me on hold!” Sam shouts.
You ignore him, answering the incoming call. “Y/N L/N,” you introduce.
“Hey, Y/N, it’s Wanda,” you hear the smile in her voice.
“Hey, Wanda!” you say enthusiastically,  “How are ya?” Wanda playing pranks with you was a long-time tradition in your friendship, and it was something you treasured very close to your heart. Plus, it made you fall in love with her even more every time.
Sam bangs on the door, interrupting your train of thought. “For god’s sake, Y/N, open the door!” he shouts from the conference room.
You ignore him, continuing your conversation with Wanda.
“I’m doing good, how are you?” Wanda answers, watching you with a grin on her face. Playing pranks with you was probably one of her favorite things in the world.
“I’m doing ok,” you respond through the phone. “Getting excited for the weekend though.”
“Yeah, same, oh, I’m not bothering you, am I?” Wanda asks, biting her fist to hold in her laughter.
“No, not at all!” You reassure, turning your chair to look over at Wanda as she looks back at you with her glistening smile.
“No? You don’t have anything you’re doing?” she says mischievously.
“I have absolutely nothing to do,” you shake your head.
“Y/N! Sam yells from the conference room, banging on the door once more.
“Yeah, no, this weekend, I’ve got nothing,” Wanda says on the phone with you. “I’m not really doing anything.”
“Y/N!” Sam shouts again. “Stop flirting with Wanda and let me out!”
“Might go to the mall,” Wanda continues.
“The mall,” you repeat.
“I need new shoes,” she tells you.
“Oh, interesting, what kind of shoes?”
Wanda finally breaks as she laughs.
You smile, wanting to mess with Sam a bit more both for your entertainment and Wanda’s, you hold up your eraser to show her and she nods as she knows what you’re about to do. Turning around, you show Sam the eraser as well, then throw it directly at the window where he’s standing with fury in his eyes.
“I tried being rational!” Sam shouts at you.
***
“Tony, why did you leave Sam in charge of the healthcare plan?” Nat asks Tony, as he steps out of his office, the rest of the workers surrounding their boss in a circle.
“What did he do?” Tony asks disinterestedly, reading over the magazine in his hands. .
“His plan is awful, it’s basically a pay decrease,” Bruce explains to him.
Seeing Sam walk out of his workspace as he finally unlocks the conference room door after trying to pick it for an hour, the workers start to shout at hiim in frustration.
“Sam, what did you do?” Tony interrupts. “Didn’t you raise benefits?”
“I most certainly did not,” Sam retorts, crossing his arms and glaring back at everyone who looks at him in anger.
Tony sighs, exasperated. “I should’ve never let you do this,” he puts his head in his hand.  “Alright, everyone, go home, it’s after 5, I’ll call corporate and have this fixed by the end of tomorrow.”
The workers mutter their distaste for the awful day they’ve had, starting to scatter and pack up their things.
“This isn’t over,” Sam tells you as you and him both pack up your things at your desks.
“Can’t wait, Sam,” you smirk at him as he scoffs back, bumping into your shoulder as he starts to walk out with his briefcase in his hand.
***
After packing your messenger bag, you run up to Wanda’s desk, drumming your fingers on the ledge as you ask her if she would like to walk out with you.
“Sorry, Y/N,” Wanda apologizes. “Vision’s on his way up now to pick me up so we can leave together.”
“Oh, okay, no problem,” you assure, your heart slightly deflating as you hear about her fiance once more.
“Thanks,” Wanda smiles.
“Yeah, you too,” you respond. “Hey, uh, that was great, how you helped me out with messing with Sam.”
Wanda laughs. “Yeah, that was fun. You really got him today, it was awesome.”
“Well, I couldn’t have done it without you,” you tell her with a soft smile.
Wanda looks at you with affection, and you stare back at her, admiring the infinite green swirls in her eyes.
Clearing your throat you say, “So, um, I should probably head out.” You point to the door behind you.
“Oh, yeah,” Wanda nods with realization. “Have a good night, Y/N.”
“You too, Maximoff,” you bid her goodbye with a wave.
Closing the door behind you as you step out of the office, you sigh at the day you’ve had, chuckling slightly at how you messed with Sam.
As you descend the flight of stairs to walk out to your car, a small smile makes its way across your face at the thought of a certain green-eyed brunette who always managed to brighten your day with just a simple look.

Bulletproof (4/?)
Tumblr media
Part Summary: There's a new recruit who seems to have taken a liking to you. If things were normal between you and Wanda, maybe she wouldn’t feel so…threatened.
Chapter word count: 2.6k+ | Tags: Light Angst, Mutual Pining, Unresolved Sexual Tension, Enemies to Lovers to Enemies, Gay disasters
Ship: Wanda Maximoff x Gender Neutral Reader
Part Five | Series Masterlist
-
The newest recruit, Daisy Johnson, seems to have taken a liking to you.
At least, that's what Wanda Maximoff has observed since Daisy's inclusion earlier this week.
From the corner of her eye, Wanda constantly catches the newbie stealing glances at you during training, meals, and even debriefing sessions. It's not that she keeps tabs on you or anything, but she can't help but notice when you catch someone’s attention, especially when that someone seems to be nearly everywhere you are.
In every training session, Wanda notes Daisy choosing to partner up with you or standing close by during briefings. Even in the more relaxed moments within the compound, Daisy seems irresistibly drawn to you. Wanda doesn't miss how Daisy occasionally throws prolonged glances your way, or how she laughs a tad too enthusiastically at something you say.
And it doesn't help that you and she walk on eggshells around each other since your confession in your old cell.
Neither of you has made any attempts to talk to the other again. Not even a glance, as if pretending the other doesn't exist will make that fateful night disappear. But for Wanda, the more she tries to push it out of her mind, the more sharply it edges back in, refusing to be forgotten.
She can't help but wonder: Was it wrong of her to move like that in her sleep? And were you out of line for not waking her up right away?
And more importantly: Were you so repulsed by it that you chose a prison cell over sharing her bed?
All these questions keep swimming in her mind, to the point where she has considered going to whoever handles this sort of stuff at the compound—kind of like an HR Department, but for Avengers. Perhaps a course on understanding boundaries might help you both move past this and start anew.
But then again, addressing it means dealing with it, and right now, just avoiding the whole mess seems so much easier.
As Wanda turns a corner in one of the compound's sprawling hallways, her eyes catch sight of you and Daisy. You’re both laughing, heads thrown back, not a care in the world. Wanda's eyes involuntarily narrow at the sight, taking note of the negligible distance between you two. Daisy's hand is resting lightly on your arm, fingers dancing along the fabric of your shirt as she emphasizes a point in her story.
Wanda tries to walk past nonchalantly, yet can't seem to dispel the feelings that bubble up each time she sees you with Daisy.
It's maddening. If things were normal between you and Wanda, maybe she wouldn’t feel so…threatened.
But they aren't.
And she does.
-
Wanda's patience is tested to its limits one Saturday afternoon.
Tasked with joining Sam to whip up dinner for the team's weekly movie night, she's diligently chopping vegetables in the expansive kitchen when Daisy sidles up to her.
“Hey, uh, Wanda, right?” Daisy begins, a casual tone to her voice.
Wanda doesn’t even look up as she answers, “Yes?”
“Can I ask you something about Y/N?”
Wanda's grip on the knife tightens just a fraction, her posture stiffening. “I think it’s better if you ask Vision–he monitors all of us even more closely than the cameras we have everywhere.”
As the words leave Wanda's mouth, Vision, who’s been quietly tinkering with a device on the other side of the kitchen, looks up suddenly, his usually stoic face showing a hint of surprise.
“I assure you, I do no such thing,” he starts, his tone a touch defensive. “Monitoring everyone is not part of my programming or my personal interests.”
Daisy raises an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “Sure, Vis. Everyone needs a hobby, right?”
Vision clears his throat, looking somewhat flustered, “It is not a 'hobby' of mine.”
Wanda can't help but smirk slightly at Vision's discomfort, her attention briefly diverted from the awkwardness with Daisy. “It's just a joke, Vision. Relax.”
He gives a curt nod, turning his attention back to the device in his hand, though he remains noticeably quiet.
Daisy chuckles lightly, but her curiosity remains unsated. “Anyway, back to Y/N?” She prompts, looking expectantly at Wanda. “Steve mentioned that if anyone on the team knows Y/N best, it'd be you, considering you two shared a room.”
Fucking Steve.
Wanda takes a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. She finally glances up to meet Daisy's eyes, her expression guarded. “What do you want to know?”
“Is Y/N... you know, single? And what do you think of them?”
Wanda's eyebrows shoot up, her eyes sharpening immediately. She places the knife down on the countertop with more force than necessary. “Why do you ask?”
Sam whistles softly, making it obvious he's eavesdropping. “Damn, getting intense over here,” he comments with a grin, making no effort to hide his amusement.
Daisy shoots him an exasperated look, but there's a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. “Trying to have a conversation here, Wilson.”
Ignoring Sam's teasing, Wanda presses, “I just want to know why you're asking.”
Daisy sighs, rubbing the back of her neck. “We've been talking a lot, and I was just... curious.”
Sam, not missing a beat, chimes in, “Curious or interested?"
Daisy rolls her eyes. "Nosy much?"
Wanda reaches for the shredder and starts grating all the remaining vegetables rather aggressively.
Sam laughs before lifting the spatula to his lips to sample the soup he’s making. “Just trying to get the lay of the land.”
“Why don't you focus on your soup, Sam?” Wanda retorts, though her eyes never leave her task.
Sam smirks, catching the hint of jealousy in Wanda's tone, and decides to push just a little further. “You know, Wanda, if you have something to say about Y/N, now's the time.”
Wanda's eyes flash red for a brief moment. Sam holds his hands up in mock surrender, but the smirk doesn’t leave his face.
Daisy looks between them in confusion.
Taking a moment, Wanda sets the shredder aside and faces Daisy squarely. “Y/N almost risked their life to save mine. If you're looking for a testament to their character, well, actions like that are rare to come by.”
“And as for Y/N’s relationship status,” she continues, a bit reluctantly, “I believe they're single.”
Daisy's gaze becomes gentle, a dreamy quality entering her eyes. “That's... truly heroic,” she whispers, almost to herself. Wanda feels a sudden urge to throw up.
She then flashes a grateful smile at Wanda. “Thanks, Wanda. That means a lot coming from you.”
Wanda merely nods before clearing her throat. “Well, now that that's settled, could someone pass the salt?”
It’s Sam who hands it over, but not before saying, “Try not to add too much. We wouldn't want dinner to be as salty as some people's moods.”
-
Tony is, unsurprisingly, first in line, eagerly eyeing the roasted vegetables. “If the taste is half as good as the smell, we’re in for a treat tonight.”
Steve chuckles, replying, “I think we can trust Wanda and Sam's culinary skills by now.”
Natasha and Clint are engrossed in a deep conversation about an upcoming mission, while Bruce discusses some new upgrades with Tony. Vision, for his part, is explaining to Peter the intricacies of using Wanda's food processor.
As the chatter continues, Wanda moves to retrieve the centerpiece of the dinner: a golden-brown roasted chicken. She feels everyone's eyes on her, awaiting the moment the chicken will land on the table. However, her gaze is involuntarily drawn to the table where she sees you and Daisy sitting next to each other, laughing about something.
In that split second of distraction, her fingers graze the scalding metal rack of the oven. A sharp hiss escapes her lips, the sudden pain evident on her face. Dropping the oven mitts, she mutters a quick “Excuse me” and dashes off to the nearest bathroom, intending to run the burnt area under cold water.
You notice her quick exit and, after a brief moment of hesitation, quietly follow her. As you near the bathroom, the sound of running water reaches your ears.
Without knocking, you enter. Wanda is cradling her hand, trying to soothe the burn.
Your voice is soft with concern when you speak, “Wanda? Let me help.”
Wanda quickly pulls her hand away from the water, her eyes widening as she registers your arrival. “I’m fine,” she snaps, her posture tensing further. Water drips from her fingers onto the porcelain sink.
You take a hesitant step forward, your intent clear. “I can heal it. Just let me—”
“I said I'm fine,” she interrupts, her voice sharp. “Sometimes it's good to feel pain, you know, heal the natural way. Not everything needs a... quick fix.” She glances pointedly at you, an obvious jab at your abilities.
Your eyes narrow slightly at her comment, but you keep your emotions in check. “It's not about the quick fix, Wanda. It's about helping someone in pain, even if that someone is stubbornly pushing everyone away.”
She sighs, her defenses visibly waning. “Why are you even here? Shouldn't you be out there with Daisy?”
“What’s Daisy got to do with any of this?”
Wanda bites the inside of her cheek, averting her gaze. Even if she has an answer ready, she's not sure she'd want to voice it.
With a sharp exhale, your frustration bubbles over.
“Fine,” you say tersely, pointing at her burned hand. “Let it scar then. See if I care.”
Moving swiftly, you leave the bathroom without waiting for her response.
Wanda stays there for a few minutes, taking deep breaths and trying to steady herself. When she finally decides to rejoin the team for dinner, she notices the empty spot beside Daisy. You're gone, probably to your room.
Regret coils in her stomach. She didn’t mean for things to escalate like that, especially when all you were trying to do was help.
-
She hasn't felt this anxious in a long time.
It reminds her of the days after she lost everything that truly mattered.
Checking that everyone is probably asleep, Wanda takes a deep breath and heads towards your room. Her mind races, trying to figure out what to say, how to apologize.
She stops in front of your room and then gently raps on the door, listening intently for any sign of movement inside. “Y/N?” she calls out hesitantly. She doesn't expect the door to open immediately, and when it does, it's not you who answers.
Instead, Daisy stands there, looking a little startled too.
“You…” Wanda hisses slowly before she can catch herself.
Daisy quickly registers Wanda's reaction and raises her hands in a placating manner. “Oh, right. Sorry, this must be weird. My apartment had a plumbing issue, a flood actually. Since I'm joining the team permanently, I made a request for a new room. But until that's sorted, Y/N offered me theirs.”
Wanda's insides churn with a jealousy she can't quite place, but she masks it swiftly, painting on a polite smile. “And where's Y/N now?” she asks, her voice deceptively calm.
Daisy bites her lip, appearing somewhat embarrassed. “They're asleep,” she admits. Stepping aside, she reveals you, nestled in a makeshift bed on the floor, blankets arranged around you for some semblance of comfort.
Wanda's eyes soften at the sight of you, but her heart also tightens in anger. You've given up your bed, your comfort, for Daisy. You’re doing for someone else what she’s done for you. It feels like an invasion of something she thought she exclusively shared with you.
Daisy shifts, catching Wanda's stare. “They wouldn’t listen to me,” she explains, a bit embarrassed. “Kept saying it's fine and that I should take the bed.”
Wanda just nods, a tightness in her voice. “Sounds like them, alright.”
Trying to ease the tension, Daisy adds, “Y/N always talks about you, you know. In a good way. Maybe you two should just... chat.”
Wanda raises an eyebrow, a little surprised. “They do?”
Daisy chuckles. "Yeah. Anyway, I'll leave you to it. Night."
“Night,” Wanda murmurs, still looking at you.
Once Daisy’s gone, Wanda hesitates. Part of her wants to barge in, shake you awake, and have that long overdue talk. Instead, she absentmindedly touches the burn on her hand, its sting a reminder of how you tried to help her earlier. It's jarring to think that you, even after avoiding each other for days, were ready to heal her.
And damn, it hurts. Not the burn, but the realization of how much she misses you.
-
Wanda doesn’t get any chances to talk to you for the next several days because you–along with Natasha, Daisy and Vision are called away to a mission.
Each day you’re away, Wanda feels the weight of anxiety pressing down on her chest. She can’t help but worry, replaying every worst-case scenario in her mind. She catches herself multiple times pacing by the control room, asking for updates, or staring out at the landing pad, waiting for the quinjet to return.
When word finally arrives that the quinjet is en route back to the compound, Wanda finds herself in the hangar before she’s even consciously made the decision to be there. Steve stands next to her, his face betraying his own relief. A few other team members have gathered too, all awaiting the return of their comrades.
The roar of the quinjet’s engines fills the air as it makes its descent. As the ramp lowers, Wanda's eyes scan the disembarking figures, and they lock onto yours. You look a little worn, a fresh bruise marring your cheek—oddly enough, one you've chosen not to heal. But beyond that, you seem okay.
Her heart swells with relief.
You seem to pause for a second, looking genuinely shocked to see Wanda amongst those waiting. For a moment, your eyes lock. She offers a tentative smile, full of hope, and it seems you're about to approach her. But then, as you step further out of the quinjet, Daisy appears at your side. The way she comfortably intertwines her fingers with yours sends a sharp pang through Wanda's heart and her smile falters.
Steve claps his hands together, attempting to reign in the team's focus. “Alright, debrief. How did it go?”
Natasha, with a deadpan expression, shoots back, “Could’ve gone smoother if you’d packed me a flask, Rogers.”
Steve smirks, shaking his head. “Alright, Romanoff. Just don’t make us wait too long.”
As you approach Wanda, your expression gives away nothing. “Hey,” you murmur, voice neutral. But Wanda’s eyes have darted down to where your hand is connected with Daisy's. Her eyes harden, and when she meets your gaze, they’ve become unreceptive.
Misreading the tightening of Wanda's features as coldness, your frown deepens. You'd thought some time apart might've helped ease the strain between you two, but guess not.
Just as you're about to say something to her–maybe an explanation as to why you’re holding Daisy’s hand–Daisy gives a playful tug on your hand, breaking the moment. “Come on,” she chirps. “Let's head in. I heard there's pizza, and I intend to eat more slices than you.”
You allow Daisy to pull you along, throwing one last glance at Wanda over your shoulder, wishing she'd say something–anything.
But Wanda's back is already turned to you. Her posture rigid, fists clenched at her sides, the knuckles going white. In that moment, Wanda is making a silent vow to herself, one of emotional self-preservation.
She walks away, her heels clicking against the ground with each firm and decisive step. Deep down, the walls she'd slowly been dismantling brick by brick in the face of a potential future with you were being hastily reconstructed.
She’s survived worse things.
Of course, she’ll survive you.

Sweet Mornings
Tumblr media
Summary: A sweet morning with the love of your life is something you just need sometimes.
Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x fem!reader
Warnings: None that I know of but if I should add anything let me know
Word count: 1143
a/n: I’m a sucker for morning fics omg. (Reblogs are welcome and critiques/advice are heavily encouraged, but please no translating.)
With a small stretch, Wanda feels the empty spot next to her in the bed, still warm. Sitting up she blinks herself awake staring at herself through a vanity mirror running a hand through her messy hair and tying it into a bun. The smell of bacon immediately draws her out of her room, a plate of bacon and pancakes being neatly made for her.
Wanda sneaks up on Y/n from behind wrapping her arms around her waist and kissing her neck a few times before resting her chin on her shoulder. Y/n turns around facing Wanda with a cheeky grin, “Well this is a nice surprise.”
“Suprise?” Wanda asks with a raised eyebrow, still sleepy. “You usually go for your coffee before even talking in the morning,” Y/n gestures to the still-steaming mug on the dining table. Y/n quickly kisses the top of Wanda’s forehead, “It was a good surprise though.” Turning back around quickly Y/n holds out two plates of pancakes and bacon, “Now how about breakfast?”
Wanda takes the plate with an enthusiastic smile sitting at a small dining table next to her mug of coffee. Before she begins cutting into her pancakes Wanda quickly looks up at Y/n, “What time is it?”
“Close to noon last I checked. You seemed tired last night so I figured I’d let you sleep in.” Y/n pours herself a cup of coffee and sits across from Wanda. “Oh! And by the way, I got Clint to babysit the boys, they’re going to have a sleepover with his kids.”
A suggestive smile grows on Y/n’s lips as she takes a sip of her coffee, “I figured we could have a night alone together maybe in the bedroom.” Wanda nearly chokes on her bite of food a red blush spreading across her face. Wanda stutters, “Uh, ye- yeah. That sounds good. Really good.”
Y/n grins to herself taking a big bite of one of her pancakes, “Sometimes I forget how easy it is to make you flustered after you wake up.” Wanda rolls her eyes giggling at how proud of herself Y/n looked.
“You wanna go out today?” Y/n pauses mid-bite at Wanda’s question, “I thought you said you wanted to stay in last night?” Wanda could barely contain her grin as she took a big sip of her coffee shrugging, “I changed my mind, it’s too nice of a day to stay inside.”
Y/n finishes off her last bite of pancake leaning back into her chair, “You have any ideas of what you want to do?” Wanda shrugs again as she pushes her plate to the side feeling full, “Not really, but I’m sure there’s something we could do.” Y/n gives her a satisfied look, “Okay, just let me know if you think of anything.”
Y/n reaches over to Wanda’s plate to put it in the sink at the same time as her own, but Wanda brushes her hand to the side. Wanda picks up both plates, “Let me.” As Wanda places both plates in the sink quickly rinsing them off Y/n turns in her seat admiring Wanda.
“Have I ever said how thankful I am to have you in my life? I feel like I don’t say it enough.” Wanda can already feel prickles of tears start to well up in her eyes. “Oh yeah?” she asks her voice a little shaky.
Y/n quickly gets up cupping Wanda’s face noticing the tears starting to form in her eyes. “Yeah, of course. I’m always thankful to have you in my life. I love you, Wanda, I wouldn’t ever change that.” The tears that had started to well up in Wanda’s eyes immediately started streaming down her face at the reassurance.
Brushing away a stray piece of hair to the side Y/n looks at Wanda attentively, “Hey. Talk to me, what’s going on in your head right now?” Wanda does her best to restrain her tears feeling her walls crumble.
“I’m just thinking about my parents,” she sniffles, “and my brother.” Y/n lets go of Wandas' face hesitantly, “Wanda you don’t have a brother.” Wanda’s face told Y/n everything she needed to know. Y/n quickly puts some distance between Wanda and her sitting back in her seat.
Crossing her arms Y/n’s jaw clenches as she looks at Wanda, “Who are you?” Wanda stammers trying to reach over the table, “Look Y/n I can explain okay.” Expecting some kind of comment from Y/n Wanda takes a pause but Y/n simply looks at her with no change in her face.
“I’m still Wanda. Similar to your Wanda. But in my universe, I’ve lost a lot, including you.” She starts to feel her tears build up again, “And after I lost you I was basically on my own. The worst part was the dreams. I was dreaming of other universes where I didn’t lose you.”
“So those nightmares were you?” Wanda cocks her head at Y/n confused. Y/n clears her throat awkwardly, “My Wanda I guess you could say started having nightmares a couple of months back. It was the same one over and over, I didn’t want to believe it was real though.”
Wanda bites her tongue, “Yeah, me neither. That’s why I started dreamwalking. Dreamwalking is like-”
“I know what dream walking is,” Y/n interrupts. “But out of all the universes, why come here? Why steal someone’s life? My wife’s life. Is there no other universe where you die and I live?” Wanda wipes away a few tears, “Not one that I’ve found yet. And you can’t dreamwalk in a dead body. But, when you lose someone you love you get desperate to see them again. You don’t think clearly. I just wanted to see you again, be able to feel you again.”
Y/n sighs, “You need to think clearly about this though Wanda. I get what it’s like to lose people believe me. Going about this though you need to remember you are tampering with real people’s lives.”
Y/n gets up from her seat again kneeling in front of Wanda and moving her chair to face her. Holding on to Wanda’s hands Y/n looks up at her, “I need you to leave Wanda.” Wanda cocks her head back not being able to hold in the tears anymore.
She looks back at Y/n, “Can I just get a hug?” She pleads, “Please?” Y/n swallows the lump growing in her throat, “Yeah.”
Wanda takes in the moment trying to burn it into her memory. Y/n whispers into her ear, “I hope you get help first. But if you have to go through with this, I hope you find you find your way to me.”

Meeting The Sister
Tumblr media
Yelena Belova x Female Reader
Summary: you meet her sister for the first time
Warnings: none, protective Nat and clumsy you
P.S I had this already posted, but they were deleted, so I'm reposting them
_____
The neon lights painted the cityscape in hues of red and blue as you nervously waited for Yelena Belova to arrive. The bar's dimly lit interior buzzed with laughter and music, but your focus was on the door. The idea of meeting Yelena's sister, Natasha Romanoff, and her girlfriend, Wanda Maximoff, was enough to make your palms sweaty.
Yelena finally entered, her confident stride cutting through the crowd. A smirk played on her lips as she approached, her green eyes locking onto yours. "Привет, jittery one. Ready for this adventure?"
You managed a half-smile, "Adventure? More like a nerve-wracking social experiment. What if I crash and burn?"
Yelena chuckled, leaning in for a quick kiss. "Relax, любовь. You're charming as hell. They'll adore you."
Together, you found a corner table and settled in. The minutes dragged on slowly until the door swung open, and Natasha and Wanda strolled in. Yelena's face lit up, and she enthusiastically greeted Natasha, pulling her into a hug. Wanda, a familiar face, greeted you with a casual wave.
"Hey, Wanda. Good to see you again," you said, aiming for a laid-back tone despite the adrenaline pulsing through your veins.
Wanda smirked, taking a seat. "Chill, it's just a laid-back evening."
The conversation flowed, but there was an undeniable stiffness in the air. Natasha's sharp eyes observed you, and she maintained a certain formality. As the night progressed, you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being evaluated.
Natasha finally turned to you, her voice measured. "So, Yelena's been keeping you a secret. What's your deal?"
You leaned back, adopting a nonchalant demeanor. "Ah, just your average agent trying to navigate the chaos. Yelena's been my partner in crime. Figuratively, of course."
Natasha's gaze remained sharp. "Partner in crime, huh? What kind of crimes are we talking about here?"
You chuckled, meeting her gaze. "The thrilling kind. Espionage, saving the world, the usual. You know the drill."
Wanda, sensing the tension, interjected with a casual smile. "Let's not turn this into an interrogation, Nat. We're here to have a good time."
Yelena, feeling a bit defensive, crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Exactly, Natasha. No need to grill us. We're here for a good night, not a debrief."
You reached out, gently placing a hand on Yelena's arm to reassure her. "Yelena's right. No need for a debrief. We're just here to enjoy each other's company."
Yelena, realizing her defensiveness, relaxed slightly, offering a sheepish smile. "Sorry, I'm just protective. You know how it is."
Natasha, observing the exchange, nodded. "Understandable. Partners in crime tend to stick together."
You grinned, adding a touch of humor. "Exactly! Besides, who else is going to appreciate my impeccable taste in secret missions?"
Wanda, with a smirk, chimed in, "I'm sure it's a very unique taste."
The conversation shifted to more lighthearted topics, with everyone sharing anecdotes and jokes. Yelena, now more at ease, joined in the banter, contributing her own sarcastic remarks and playfully nudging Natasha.
Wanda, with her Sokovian charm, added her own touch to the banter, creating a dynamic where each person's personality shone through. You found yourself trading jokes with Wanda, engaging in playful banter with Yelena, and occasionally meeting Natasha's gaze with a shared understanding.
Wanda grinned, raising her glass. "So, how did you two meet? Any thrilling story to share?"
You exchanged a glance with Yelena, and a playful smirk crossed your lips. "Well, it all started in a high-stakes mission. Yelena was in a tight spot, and I swooped in, saved the day, you know, the usual hero stuff."
Yelena rolled her eyes, but a fond smile played on her lips. "More like you tripped over your own feet and stumbled into my mission."
Natasha, now intrigued, leaned in. "A clumsy hero, huh? That's unexpected."
You shrugged, grinning. "Hey, every hero has a less-than-glamorous origin story, right?"
Yelena, seizing the opportunity to tease you, launched into a ramble. "Oh, let me tell you about their impeccable coordination skills. I've never seen someone tumble and twist in so many creative ways. It's a wonder they get anything done without tripping over their own shadow."
Yelena continued, "And remember the time they mistook a janitor for an enemy agent and tackled them in the middle of a mission?"
You shot her a playful glare. "Okay, that one was an honest mistake. In my defense, they were wearing all black and carrying a mop like a weapon!"
Wanda burst into laughter, and Natasha couldn't help but crack a smile. "Quite the impressive track record you've got there."
You sighed dramatically. "My secret identity as a spy is hanging by a thread with Yelena here revealing all my not-so-heroic exploits."
Yelena, leaning in, planted a quick kiss on your cheek. "Oh, don't worry, beloved. Your not-so-heroic moments make you even more endearing."
You couldn't help but look at Yelena with a mix of embarrassment and fondness. Natasha, ever observant, raised an eyebrow with a knowing smile. "Seems like there's a lot more charm to this clumsy hero than meets the eye."
Yelena winked at Natasha, "Well, charm and a top-level clearance that I conveniently forgot to mention. Just a minor detail."
The table fell silent for a moment, and you could practically feel the raised eyebrows. Natasha's gaze became more intense, and Wanda looked intrigued.
Yelena, catching on to your embarrassment, chuckled. "Oh, did I forget to mention that my charming klutz here has access to the highest level of clearance? Just a minor detail."
You shot Yelena a playful glare, and she grinned mischievously, knowing she had just added a new layer to the intrigue. Natasha arched an eyebrow, intrigued by the revelation.
Natasha finally spoke, "Top-level clearance, huh? Interesting."
You nodded, trying to downplay it. "Well, two levels above you, Natasha. Not that it's a big deal."
Wanda, with a sly grin, added, "Looks like we've got a high roller in the house."
Yelena, ever the protective sister, shot a warning look at Natasha and Wanda. "Easy, both of you. It's not a competition."
You chimed in, "Yeah, just a quirky detail in the grand scheme of things. Family comes in all clearance levels, right?"
Wanda laughed, and Natasha smirked, "Family comes in all clearance levels, indeed."
The atmosphere lightened up as the conversation moved on to more casual topics. The initial tension began to dissipate, and you found yourself sharing laughs and stories with the group. Yelena, always quick with a sarcastic remark, added her own flavor to the banter.
As the night progressed, the initial awkwardness transformed into a genuine connection. Natasha, initially reserved, couldn't help but crack a smile at some of the anecdotes shared. Wanda, with her infectious laughter, created a comfortable ambiance.
You raised your glass, "To unexpected friendships and top-level clearances!"
The clinking of glasses echoed through the bar as the night unfolded with laughter, camaraderie, and a newfound understanding among the eclectic group.

Spasibo
Wanda Maximoff x Gender Neutral Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: After time of being together, Wanda shows you how much your love means to her.
Warnings: None, just fluff
Translation: Spasibo = Thank you (In russian according to google)
A/N: Well, I've been away from writing for like 6 months. I know this is probably not what you want or expect. But I felt the need to write something to get myself going again. Plus, it's been a year since I made my first post on Tumblr (June 24, 2022) so why not? Hope ya'll enjoy, though :)
Tumblr media
"Are we there yet, Wands?" You asked, Wanda, who was pulling you by the arm.
You trusted your girlfriend with all your heart, but after walking blindfolded for 10 minutes and tripping with rocks for a couple of times, you were impatient to know where she was taking you. Wanda wanting to do something like this was completely out of her normal behavior but you always supported her actions, so you went with it.
Wanda giggled. "Relax, boo. We're almost there." Wanda answered. "I promise you will love the surprise." She reassured.
"Great, I was beginning to think you were trying to murder me." Your joke won you a glare from Wanda that went unnoticed by you thanks to the blindfold. Instead, she decided to play along.
"Throwing that possibility out the window was your first mistake." Wanda murmured loud enough for you to hear. A blank expression plastered on your face until you heard the young witch burst in laughter. She looked at you to notice your serious expression.
"Oh, come on. It was funny." Wanda said. You gave in and chuckled. "Ok, fine. You did get me there." You surrendered to Wanda's claims.
You kept walking with Wanda leading the way. Some minutes before, you realized that the floor below you was grass meaning that you were either at a park or an open field. Going to the park with Wanda was a normal thing. Both of you engage in that activity at least once or twice a week. The odd part is that Wanda insisted on going at the time when the dark of the night was completely filling the sky. Without forgetting that she had insisted on covering your eyes with a scarf she owned.
"You have some crazy ideas." You remarked. Wanda responded with an 'mhm'.
"In what aspect though?" Wanda asked, in a teasing tone. You first questioned what she meant but blushed when you caught on. Wanda smirked at your reaction.
"Control yourself now, we're here." Wanda informed. You exhaled as your hands reached to remove the scarf but was stopped by Wanda's own.
Wanda walked behind you. "Let me do it." She brought her hands up to the scarf. "Are you ready?" She asked, sounding rather enthusiastic.
"I am." you answered, eager to know what all this was about.
"Hope you like it." Wanda untied the scarf, finally letting you see again. After blinking a few times to get accustomed with light, what lied in front of you warmed your heart. A picnic blanket with a basket on top of it. She invited you to sit down on the blanket.
You sat next to her, admiring the candles that were also placed in the middle of the blanket. They were fake but they showed Wanda's attention to detail.
"This is so beautiful." You complimented Wanda's work, she offered her signature sweet smile in return.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm loving this." You admitted, the little stuff that Wanda did for you always showed how much she loved you. "But what are we celebrating?" You questioned.
Wanda looked at you, frowning. "Y/N, did you really forget?" Her tone made you gulp. Her mentioning your name with that tone showed that she was not pleased with your question.
"I- I'm sorry, I really don't remember." It scared you, since you didn't remember Wanda telling you anything and your anniversary of being with her was still months away. You felt your body shake a bit in nervousness.
Wanda got closer to you when she suddenly erupted in laughter. "Relax, I was joking." She confessed while still laughing.
"Damn you really did scare me this time." You said in relief. Wanda placed around you. "Oh, baby, please forgive me." She comforted, your hand reached for her hand that was on your shoulder and carefully placed yours on top of hers. "It's alright, Witchy. I could never stay mad at you."
Wanda smiled, taking her hands off yours and reached for the basket where she pulled out a champagne bottle and two flute glasses.
"While it's true that there isn't anything important to celebrate today." She handed you a glass. "Today I felt the need to celebrate our love because your love has made me stronger and has cured me in several ways." Wanda popped open the champagne bottle and poured some into your glass.
After pouring champagne into her glass, she put the bottle down and raised her glass to make a toast. "To our love." Wanda announced. You brought your glass, making contact with hers. Both of you giggling to the clicking noise.
"To our love." You said, offering a warm smile.
You and Wanda brought the glass up and drank from it. You were the first to bring it down and waited for Wanda. Once she brought it down, you moved closer to her and without hesitation, connected your lips to her. Wanda reciprocated with the same passion.
The kiss only ended because you pulled away to catch some air. You looked down to see her also panting. You pulled her close and she relaxed into you.
"This was really special, Wanda. Thank you." You said, being grateful for her. Only Wanda would do such a beautiful thing for you.
"Stay with me forever." Wanda told you. You ran your hand through her ginger hair. "Don't worry, I'll never leave." You assured her.
"Spasibo." Wanda muttered in a low breathy voice, resting her head on your chest.
"Did you say something, my love?" You asked, stroking her silky hair.
Wanda closed her eyes. "Just enjoying the moment." She answered in a soft tone. The only noise she wanted to hear in that moment was the thumping sound of your heart beat. To her, it was a demonstration of how much you loved being with her.
"That champagne looked expensive, where did you get it?" You asked in an attempt to start a conversation. Wanda shifted a little and looked up at you.
"A magician-" She stopped mid sentence and grinned. "Or witch in this case never reveals her secret." Wanda said. She wanted to laugh at the thought of Tony trying to find one of his many expensive bottles. She could apologize, in the event she was caught.
It didn't matter to her. What mattered to her in that instant was you being there with her. She was grateful for your love and attention. The young witch wants to use the rest of her life showing you how much that meant for her. Because your love was a medicine, fixing up all the open wounds.

A/N: I’d like to thank @cthulhus-curse for uttering three words that changed my world: Stripper MILF Wanda.  I give them full credit for this amazing idea. They have their own INCREDIBLE fic called “Cherry Waves” which y’all should check out too!  Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Taking one final look in the mirror before you left your apartment, you nervously tousled your hair for the millionth time.  It wasn’t every day you had a first date.  In fact, it had been a couple of years since you had gone on any sort of date at all.
It’s not that you didn’t want to date: after graduating from college and getting a job as an accountant at one of the Tri-State Area’s most prestigious law firms, it wasn’t at the forefront of your mind.  The tipping point was when one of your closest friends from college, Steve, got engaged to his longtime girlfriend.  He was the first of your friends to get married.  It didn’t matter that he was a few years older than you, or that they’d been together for almost a decade, you suddenly felt the need to keep up with the Joneses.
You’d never tried dating apps before, so you downloaded the first one you saw.  As you created your profile, you saw the general age range was set from 18-49.  What the heck, you thought, deciding not to change it.  Age gaps didn’t really bother you.
Once your profile was set up, you flopped down onto your bed.  Pictures of different women flashed across your screen.  It turned you off almost instantaneously.  It all seemed so transactional, swiping one way or another simply based on her looks and a few generic questions.  You lazily flicked through them swiping left or right haphazardly until a certain redhead caught your eye.
The woman was absolutely gorgeous.  Her profile picture was her sitting on the beach gazing out over the ocean.  Her red hair cascaded down her body, accented by the dep blue waves crashing against the sand and the clear blue sky.  Her emerald green eyes were stunning.  You saw those in the next picture, a candid shot of her popping a bottle of champagne.  There was no doubt that she was hands down the most beautiful woman you’d ever seen.
You scanned her profile and learned that her name was Wanda, she was 38, and that she lived in Westview.  It didn’t phase you that she was 13 years older than you, you swiped right anyways.  Much to your surprise the app announced that you two were a match.  Your face burned red knowing that she swiped right on you first.  Had she felt the same way when she saw you?  Did the world around her come to a complete standstill as she swiped through your pictures?  God you hoped so.
After a few brief text exchanges, Wanda agreed to meet you for drinks after she got out of work on Saturday.  She agreed to meet you at one of your favorite bars.  You hoped Wanda wouldn’t find it too immature.  That was your biggest worry: that she’d find you too childish for her liking.  Those thoughts danced through your mind while you waited for her.  You threw back the shot of vodka you ordered in one gulp, the liquor burning your throat as it traveled down to your stomach.  There was no way you’d be able to do this totally sober.
“Y/N?”
You spun around as a voice you never heard before called your name.  It was her.  It had to be.  A voice that sweet and melodic could only belong to her.  As you turned you locked eyes with the emerald ones that had infiltrated the depths of your consciousness for the better part of a week.  They were even more mesmerizing in person.
“Wanda?”  You managed to choke out, disguising your dumbstruck awe as a cough.
“Hi!” she responded enthusiastically, taking her coat off and slinging it over the empty stool next to her.  “Sorry I’m a little late.  I got stuck at work,” she apologized while she brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.
“That’s okay,” you replied in earnest.
The two of you soon fell into an easy rhythm of conversation.  Wanda was surprisingly easy to talk to.  She told you all about herself. How she was divorced from her husband and raising her twin boys, Billy and Tommy, by herself.  Her strength and courage impressed you.  She was also uncommonly kind and had a wicked sense of humor.  She told jokes that made even you blush.
“So what do you do for work?” she asked, swirling her lipstick stained straw around her drink.
“I’m an accountant at a law firm.  Nelson and Murdock.  Have you heard of them?” Wanda shook her head as you took another sip of your beer.  “It’s a good job.  Good pay, good people, good vacation time…that’s all that really matters in a job, right?”
Wanda chuckled, shaking her head at your youthful optimism.  She found the straw without breaking eye contact with you.  You swallowed hard as she stared at you with a twinkle in her eye, the room growing hotter by the second.  “So what do you do?”
Wanda sucked her drink a little faster, pausing as she came up for air.  Her confident demeanor faltered ever so slightly.  She tilted her head, thinking before she spoke.
“I’m a secret agent with the CIA.  So I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.”  She shot you a knowing wink before she motioned to the bartender for another drink.  The way Wanda completely avoided the subject told you the real answer was more complicated than she was willing to let on.
When Wanda told you she wanted to see you again, you were equally relieved and ecstatic.  That first date was an undeniable success, as made evident by the way she slammed you up against a dumpster behind the bar and crashed her lips into yours.  The sensation of her soft lips against yours was pure ecstasy.  You were grateful for both the dumpster and the tight grip you had on her hips because you were sure your knees would give out otherwise.
Over the next few months, you saw each other as much as you could, which wasn’t enough for either of you.  Wanda was simultaneously balancing a demanding work schedule with being a single mother and you were drowning in quarterly reports.  Yet through the late night trysts, stolen moments, phone calls, text messages, and video chats, one thing never changed: Wanda never revealed what she actually did.  Any mention of it was met with a sarcastic remark and a different answer every time.  It didn’t bother you too much, but you wondered what she did that made her not want to tell you about it.

“Okay we’ve got the steaks, we’ve got the cigars, we’ve got the booze, we’ve got Bucky’s Gamecube, all we need is the stripper,” Sam rattled off as he went down the checklist.
“Woah!” you interjected as you ripped the list from him.  “Steve’s not gonna want a stripper.  Come one, we all know the guy’s a total square when it comes to that sort of stuff.”
“You, sir, need to learn to live a little,” Bucky chided as he smacked your shoulder.  The three of you had taken it upon yourselves to plan Steve’s bachelor party.  The lot of you had met in college.  Steve was a grad student and Bucky and Sam were upperclassmen when you met them your freshman year on the rugby team.  While Bucky and Sam were the party animals of the group, you and Steve weren’t.  Steve was the clean cut one, which led to rumors that he was secretly a Mormon or Quaker or something like that.  But they were just rumors.  The truth of the matter was that Steve simply wasn’t interested in that sort of stuff.  He’d be thrilled with steaks, beer, cigars, and video games at his bachelor party.  But a stripper?
“I don’t know, guys.  I’m not sure it’s the best idea.”
“Steve said he was down for anything when I asked, so technically it’s his own fault,” Sam smirked.  You chuckled, letting out an exasperated sigh as you shook your head.  There was no way of talking Sam and Bucky out of this insane idea.
“I mean, you got me there, Sam,” you relented.  “You guys know any good ones?”
The three of you grabbed your phones, looking up the best reviewed strip clubs in the area.  If Steve’s bachelor party was going to have a stripper, then you were going to have the best stripper you could afford.
“Oh here’s one!” Bucky shouted.  “Wait nevermind.  We can’t afford that.”
“What about this one? Top Notch Stippers?  They’ve got great reviews and they’re more affordable than the other place,” Sam suggested.  You plopped over on the arm of the chair and peered over his shoulder.
“Cool!  Let’s book it!” Bucky exclaimed.
Sam dialed the number and promptly thrust the phone in your face.  “Thanks,” you muttered, rolling your eyes.
“Top Notch Strippers, this is Kelly speaking, how may I help you?” a perky voice asked from the other end of the line.
“Uh, yeah…I need to book someone for a bachelor party next Saturday night…please.”  You heard the clacking of a keyboard over the line.
“Great!  Is there any one of our performers you’d like to request?”
The question made you freeze.  God, this was so awkward.  Your face reddened with embarrassment.  “Umm, how about your best one?” you managed to squeak out.  “It’s, uhh, it’s my buddy’s bachelor party.”  You didn’t know why you felt the need to explain yourself to the woman on the other end.
“Gotcha.  She’s a good one, too.  Everybody loves her.”  You smiled weakly.  “Now what’s the address and what time?”
“Umm, 9 pm?”  Bucky and Sam nodded.  “Yeah 9.  And the address is, uhh…” “247 Westbrook Drive,” Sam whispered.
“247 Westbrook Drive,” you blurted.  Another moment of silence told you she was inputting all of your information.
“And can I get a name and phone number?”
“Sam Wilson, and the number is…”  Sam slapped his forehead and Bucky stifled a laugh by biting his fist while you gave Kelly Sam’s name and number.”
“Okay great.  So your total of $800 will be due in cash the night of the event and that doesn’t include any tips or gratuities.  A security guard will accompany her for her safety, which is standard protocol for every performance.  If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us at least 24 hours notice.”
“Great, okay, thanks then,” you replied before hanging up and tossing Sam back his phone.
“Why’d you give my name, man?” Sam whined as he caught it.
“Because it’s your house, dumbass,” you joked.  “Oh, and it’s 800 bucks, so cough it up, assholes.”
***********************************************************
“So I’ll see you after the party then?” you asked Wanda.
“Yeah.  I’m working tonight so I got a sitter for the boys.  But they should be asleep by the time you get there.  And-”
“I know, I know.  Leave before they wake up and find their mom in bed with a strange man,” you smirked as you emptied a bag of ice into the cooler.
“I promise you’ll meet them soon, Y/N.  I just don’t want to rush them.”  That was the main reason Wanda hadn’t introduced you to them in your four months of dating.  It had been less than two years since their dad completely walked out on them and it was still a sore subject of contention.  Wanda worried that if you two didn’t work out for whatever reason they’d end up heartbroken all over again.
“Wanda, it’s okay!  Really!  I don’t want to rush you at all.  I’ll meet them when I meet them!”  You balanced your phone between your shoulder and ear as you emptied a box of beer cans into the cooler.
“What did I ever do to deserve a boyfriend as sweet as you?”  Her voice was sweet as honey through the phone, causing you to melt.  For as much as you adored Wanda she adored you even more.  She made you smile, really smile, for the first time in your life.
“Hey listen I’ve gotta run,” you apologized as Bucky screamed about something going on with the grill while Sam ran around with the fire extinguisher.  “I think Bucky’s trying to blow the place up.”
“Have fun playing fire marshall,” Wanda giggled.  “I’ll see you tonight.”
After stopping Bucky from burning himself, you took over grill duty as the rest of your friends arrived.  Steve showed up last, sheepishly accepting the taunts and applause from his groomsmen.
The evening was spent grilling, smoking, drinking, and racing Mario Kart on Bucky’s Gamecube.  Steve was having an absolute blast, remaining totally ignorant to the performance that was looming overhead.  As 9 pm grew closer, you grew more anxious.  It was your head on the chopping block if this went south.
At 8:55 the doorbell rang.
“Who’s that?” Steve asked.  “Don’t tell me you ordered pizza after all that food, Buck.”
“Nah, it’s the stripper,” Bucky answered, deeply engrossed in the race as his Waluigi overtook Scott Lang’s Wario for the lead.
“Ha!  Good one!” Steve laughed as he took a swig of his beer.
“Can someone go let-damn it, Scott!-Can someone go let her in?!” Sam yelled as his Yoshi slipped on a banana peel.
“Yeah, I’ve got it.  Where’s her money?” You stood up, searching around the room for the envelope with the money Sam and Bucky ponied up.
“It’s in my butt!” Sam leaned onto one side of his butt, the folded envelope peeking out of his back pocket.  You snatched it from him and jogged to the door.
“Hold on!” you shouted as the bell rang a second time.  A rush of anxiety pulsed through you as you saw a silhouette through the frosted glass.  But there was nothing that could prepare you for what you saw when you opened the door.
“Sup?  I’m Pietro.  I’m working security tonight.”  A tall, somewhat lanky man with half bleached hair stuck his hand out at you.  “Are you Sam?”
“What?” You were slightly taken aback.  “Oh, no.  I’m Y/N.  Sam’s inside playing Mario Kart with the rest of the guys.  You’re not, umm…you know…” You peered around him, searching for another body.
“What, the stripper?  No way broski, that’s way too much work,” Pietro laughed.  “She’s on her way.  Her babysitter was a little late.”
“Oh, okay.  Well, why don’t you go inside then?  There’s steak and beer if you want some.  I can wait out here for her.” “Thanks, but I’ll pass on the refreshments.  I’ll go in and read ‘em the riot act, but if you’re gonna wait for her, here it is: do not touch her, do not call her anything of a degrading nature, do not film or take pictures of her, and tip generously.  Put a toe out of line and I’ll put you in traction, understood?”  Pietro’s laid back demeanor completely shifted as he slipped into guard mode.  The subtle shift in his face told you that he meant business.  You gulped, nodding overenthusiastically.  “Alright, man!  You said they’re all inside?” As fast as he shifted into guard mode he shifted back again.   “Yeah, they’re racing Mario Kart.  The party’s for Steve, by the way.  It’s just Sam’s house we’re using.”
“Sweet!” Pietro slapped you on the back.  “Lemme know when she gets here,” he asked before swaggering into the house.  Seeing as you were all alone, you sat in the rocking chair and waited.  Before long, a car pulled into the driveway.  It skidded to a stop as you stood, watching the dark figure inside rummage around for something before opening the door.
“Sorry I’m late.  My babysitter was late and I couldn’t leave until she-” The woman, dressed in normal clothes and carrying a backpack, jogged up the steps of the porch and froze when she saw you.  As your eyes focused in the dim light, you understood why.
It was Wanda.
“Wanda?” Your brain exploded.  Words left you as you stared in horror at your girlfriend.
“Oh no,” she whispered as she dropped her eyes to the ground and covered her face with her hand.
An awkward pause settled between the two of you as you both stared at the ground.  Of all the things Wanda could be, this was certainly not on your list of choices.  The entire situation felt surreal, like you were watching the scene from above while your body simply went through the motions.
“So, umm, this is what you actually do then?” You finally broke the silence, awkwardly rubbing the back of your neck.
“Y/N-”
“Why didn’t you tell me?  I mean it’s not a big deal.  I just didn’t expect, y’know, this whole ‘woman of the night’ thing.”
“Woman of the night thing?  Are you kidding me, Y/N?” Wanda scoffed.  An incredulous look spread over her face as she recoiled in anger at your words.  “I’m a stripper, not a prostitute!  See, this is why I didn’t tell you.  Because this is the reaction I get from every guy I’ve tried to date!  They freak out, call me a slut, and that’s it!”
“So were you planning on just never telling me then?  Just avoid the topic completely?” You stepped closer to her, your faces dangerously close as you felt your own rage burning.  “How am I supposed to trust you if you can’t be honest with me?”
“I wanted to tell you, Y/N, I really did, but this isn’t the way I wanted you to find out.”  She pinched her brow in exasperation as she turned away from you.  “Look, can we talk about this later?”
You thrust the envelope at her.  “Here’s your cash.  Pietro’s inside.  I’m gonna go.  They’re back in the living room.”  You opened the door for her, pushing past her as she entered.
“Hate to do this, but I’ve gotta dip.  Family emergency,” you lied grabbing your hat and keys off the counter.  “Steve, enjoy.  Sam, text you later.”
“Everything good, man?” Bucky called as you sped down the hallway.
“Yeah, don’t worry.  Have fun!”  Wanda shot you a desperate, almost pleading look as you raced by.  She was incredibly hurt by your words.  You’d discovered her most intimate secret, something she shared equal parts pride and shame about, in the worst possible way and reacted the way she feared you would.  You simply looked the other way.
You sat in your car absolutely frozen.  Wanda was in a room with your best friends doing what she apparently did best.  Kelly did say everyone loved her.  So did you.  Four short months and you were already head over heels in love with her.  There were so many conflicting feelings over this new revelation.  It was dizzying, the way your head spun at the absurdity of it all.  Your older, divorced, mother-of-two girlfriend was a stripper and you had absolutely no idea until ten minutes ago.  Worst of all you were ashamed at the way you reacted.  You felt absolutely awful.  You’d insulted her, accused her, and then completely dismissed her.
You couldn’t go back in there, not after that.  And there was no way you could watch your girlfriend give your best friend a lap dance or whatever.  So you started the car and made the short drive over to Westview.
You arrived at Wanda’s house a short time later, parking your car next to the sitter’s.  A teenage girl appeared in the doorway, visibly confused at your appearance.
“Can I help you?” she called, cracking the screen door open slightly.
“Hey!  I’m Y/N.  Wanda’s my girlfriend.  I told her I’d come over after she got back, but I think I’m a bit early.”  You didn’t want to freak her out and you definitely didn’t want to let her know there was anything wrong.  The younger girl didn’t respond, staring at you with a keen sense of distrust.  “Look, I’m just gonna wait outside, okay?  I’ll wait on the porch.  You can text her if you want, she’ll tell you I’m okay.”  You cautiously stepped toward the porch.  She looked at you warily, sizing you up as she let the door shut.  You heard a soft click as she locked it behind you.  Sighing, you plopped on the top step and stared out into the clear dark night.
The bright glow of headlights jolted you awake as a car pulled into the drive.  You must’ve nodded off as you waited for Wanda to return home.  Both the porch light and headlights illuminated Wanda’s frame as she got out of the car.  She slung her backpack over one shoulder and carried a pair of stilettos in the other.  Her face seemed to carry the weight of the world in every crevice.
“You scared Kate a bit,” she said, giving you a half smile.  “She called me all freaked out saying there was some weirdo claiming to be my boyfriend sitting on the porch, but that he couldn’t be my boyfriend because he was a literal child.”
“Cradle robber,” you joked.  Wanda’s shoulders shrugged in a halfhearted chuckle.  The tension between the two of you was unspoken but completely evident.  Your stomach fluttered with butterflies as you thought of the impending conversation.  You prayed that you hadn’t completely fucked things up between the two of you.
“Do you want to come in?”
***********************************************************
You sat in the kitchen, pushing around the leftover piece of pie Wanda set in front of you as she poured herself a large glass of wine.  Although it was your favorite, you weren’t feeling all too hungry.  There were so many things you wanted to say to her but you didn’t know how or where to start.
Wanda took a large gulp from her glass, sighing as she set it down on the counter.  “So I guess you probably want to know about the whole-”
“Wanda-”
“I’m not proud of it, okay?  Do you honestly think that I wanted to do this for a living?”
“Wanda-”
“I don’t like it like I did when I was younger, Y/N, but it’s allowed me to give the boys a much better life than I had growing up, even as a single mother,” she snapped.
“Wanda-” you tried for a third time to interrupt her, but she cut you off again.
“Look, I started stripping in college to make some extra spending money, okay?  I went to an open call on a whim and booked it.  And I liked it. I kept doing it even after I graduated.  Vision was in grad school and his stipend and my first year teacher’s salary wasn’t cutting it.  I’d go straight from school to the club every single day.  I mean it was almost 20 hour days for a while.  But when I got pregnant with the boys I had to take a step back.  When I came back from maternity leave I knew there was no way I could keep doing that.  So I stopped.”  She took a long swig of the wine, her eyes squeezing shut as the tart liquid rolled down her throat.  “Vision never knew, of course.  Nobody did.  But when he left I had to do something.  So I went back.  I went back to the long days and the babysitters and pretending that everything’s okay.  That’s when I found out about the house calls.  Once I started doing those on top of club work I made more money than I ever dreamed of as a teacher.  So I quit to spend more time with the boys.”
She looked down, her head bowed over the sink as she stretched her arms across the counter. You watched as she squeezed her eyes shut again.  She shook her head as she tried to clear the tears from her eyes.  “That’s why I can’t ever get past the third date with anyone,” Wanda sniffled.  She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand as she turned around to lean against the counter.  “I’ve been called a lot worse than “woman of the night” before.”
The urge to curl up in a ball and disappear was all-consuming as Wanda reminded you of the way you degraded her.  There was no way you could ever take that back.  It was short-sighted and cruel, the way you had insulted her work.  She was so insecure about it, no matter how proud she might appear.  Worst of all was that you loved her.  You loved her in a way you never loved anyone else before and you hurt her.  While her stunning green eyes were normally a safe haven for you, tonight you couldn’t bring yourself to look at them.
“Let’s be real here, Y/N.  I’ve got stretch marks and scars and reminders that I’m not getting any younger.  I’ve got two boys who are almost in middle school who have an absent father.  And my career is in no way conventional.  You could do so much better.  You’re young and handsome with a bright future ahead of you.  So if you want to leave, just…just go.  Please just go.”  She waved her hand as if to shoo you away.
“Wanda-”
“GO!” she snapped, her eyes brimming with tears.  Those stunning emerald orbs stung as they pierced your heart like daggers.  You stood up, pushing your plate away as the world crashed down around you.  This was it: she was done with you.  Done with the late night calls and secret sleepovers and good morning texts and flowers you sent her for no reason other than to say ‘I love you.’
As you stormed down the hallway toward the front door, you paused as you reached the foyer.  Because it wasn’t too far away from the kitchen, you heard Wanda sobbing through the silence.  Your heart sank as you listened to the sniffles and gasps echo through the hallway.  Cautiously you tiptoed back towards the kitchen, peering around the corner to find Wanda hunched over the sink.  Her chest heaved as sobs wracked the room.  You swallowed the lump that was forming in your throat before you walked up behind her and wrapped your arms around her midsection, resting your chin on her shoulder.  Your touch surprised her, and she grabbed your forearm as she continued to cry.
“I’m not leaving,” you whispered in her ear as you held her tightly.
“Please go,” she whispered.
“Mmm-mmm, you’re stuck with me.  You can’t get rid of me that easily.”  You lowered your head to kiss her neck, pulling her even closer as your lips trailed up and down her delicate skin.
“Really?”
“Really.”  You released her from your grip only to turn her around, pushing her up against the edge of the sink as your hands snaked down to her hips.  “And I’m going to spend the rest of my life making up for the stupid shit I said.  Because I don’t care.  At all.  I’m in this for the long haul with you.  All I want is for us to be happy together.  Nothing is as important as that.”
Wanda smiled, her hands snaking up to rest around your neck as she pulled you close.  “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.  When I first met you I was scared that you’d leave if you knew, and I didn’t want you to leave because I really liked you.  You were the first decent guy I’d gone out with in a long time.  I couldn’t lose that…you never really brought it up so I decided that I wouldn’t either.  I’ve been trying to figure out how to do it because I’m tired of trying to sneak you around the boys all the time.”
“You want me to meet the boys?”  Wanda nodded, smiling as she gazed into your eyes.  “So I don’t have to sneak out your window at some ungodly hour tomorrow morning?”
She pulled on your neck, reaching up to capture your lips in hers.  The combination of her sweet cherry chapstick and the salty remnants of her tears ignited a fury of desire within you.  You gripped her hips tighter, swiping your tongue over her bottom lip as she parted them slightly to allow your tongue to dance with hers.
“I am so in love with you,” you whispered as you broke apart, your lips so close together that yours tickled hers as you spoke.
“You are absolutely perfect,” she whispered back.
The two of you stood there for what seemed like an eternity, gazing deeply into each other’s eyes. The world stopped as you two simply existed.
“How about we go upstairs and I give you a little taste of what I do?” Wanda teased, a devilish spark in her eye.
“What about the rules?  Pietro said I’m not allowed to touch you,” you teased back.
“Oh you’re not.  But I will make sure to use your tip generously.”  Her sultry voice was hot against your ear as you groaned at her insinuation.  “Come on, handsome, let the Scarlet Witch take care of you.”

“It sounds like a good opportunity, I don’t think it’s ever really too early to start” Nat urged.
“I guess, but she’s just so young,” Wanda claimed as she moved to join her friend on the couch.
“They’ll all be her age, it’s just for a week,” Nat insisted.
Nat had found a program for young children to learn science and math for a week, it was kind of like a day camp. The parents would drop off the young children daily for 4 hours of hands-on learning. She thought this would be good for you since you have been following very closely in Peter’s footsteps when it comes to his interest in math and science. It would also introduce you to a school setting so that it isn’t so far out of your comfort zone next year when you go to attend preschool.
To be truthful, you and Wanda were all Nat could think about lately. She wanted so badly to be there for you two, to help you achieve success and be given opportunities that she could’ve only dreamed of at your age. This sent her down a rabbit hole searching for events or activities you could take part in. Most of them were geared toward older children, but the science camp stated all ages so she jumped on it.
Wanda was hesitant about the program, she didn’t want to push school onto you too early. You should be able to enjoy the time before it completely takes over your life for 14+ years. Nat had a point though, it’s only a week and you would probably really love it. She wasn’t sure how you would react to being left without her all day though, hopefully, now that you have been coming out of your shell the process would be easier but it was hard to say.
Though, it’s inevitable that this will need to happen eventually. One week of practice would be helpful to smooth out the process once it's mandatory. Wanda really admired the way Nat was so enthusiastic about this program, like the way her voice became more animated and expressive. Wanda could hear the slight rise in her tone as she described the activities that you’d get to experience, and the way she leaned closer in proximity to show off the different amenities on the webpage had Wanda holding her breath and overthinking every little movement of her body. As she got lost in the sparkle in Natasha’s eyes, she couldn't help but scrutinize herself for making everything so awkward, ‘don’t move, don’t breathe. Okay, breathe but slowly. Does she notice? why is this making me feel this way? It’s not like we’ve never been close to each other before.’
“What do you think?” Nat jolted her from her spiraling thoughts, both mentally and slightly physically as Wanda startlingly looked at her. Of course, she hadn’t been paying attention to a thing Nat was saying, but she couldn’t know that.
“Hmm, yea that sounds great,” she admitted, hoping she hadn’t just agreed to send you to a shield boot camp or something that only Natasha would find fun.
“Really?” Nat was beaming at the fact that Wanda liked her idea and genuinely hoped you would have a great time.
“Ye- yea, I mean, it’s just a week and she’s going to have to get used to spending time without us.” Wanda went on to explain.
Natasha's heart skipped a beat. Us. She knew what Wanda meant by it and even though she recognized it wasn’t anything that she should read into, Nat couldn't help but analyze it. Such a simple phrase, but it had the prospect to hold so much meaning. Wanda had included her in her vision of your future, as a unit, as us. In reality, Wanda knew Natasha would always be there for you, but Natasha couldn’t help but feel a wave of warmth and happiness wash over her at the thought of it meaning something more, causing her cheeks to flush and a smile to form on her face.
Tumblr media
When Wanda and Nat told you about the camp, you were initially really excited, until you found out that you’d have to go alone. Sure, they would drop you off, but then they would leave, and then, who would protect you if something went wrong? Who would be there to hold you when you got nervous around the crowd of unfamiliar faces?
“Mama?” you broke the silence as you sat snuggled into her side on the couch of the common room, enveloped in mostly darkness except for the soft glow from the television.
“Yes, detka?” she glanced down at you as your head tilted up to meet your eyes with hers.
“Do I have to go to da sciewence schoowl?” you asked softly, just barely above a whisper, not wanting to make trouble but you couldn’t get the fact that you would have to go alone out of your mind.
Wanda immediately shifted her full attention to you in an attempt to create a safe and open space for you to express your worries, “I thought you were excited?”
“Well, I am- I was, but, I don't want to go wiffout you or Natty.” you admitted as you translated your fears from thoughts into words.
"I see, I understand that you're feeling nervous about going without us, and that's completely okay, my love. It's natural to feel a little anxious when we step out of our comfort zone," she said as she gently rubbed your arm in soothing motions. She wanted to help you work through these feelings instead of blocking off new opportunities due to fear. In the end, she wouldn’t force you to go, but she would do everything she could to get you open to the experience.
“You know, even adults get feelings like these when they're about to try something new or go to unfamiliar places. I remember when I first joined the Avengers, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. But you know what?”
“What?”
“It turned out to be an incredible journey filled with wonderful people and unforgettable adventures. I got to meet my two favorite people in the whole world"
“Me?” your expression shifted from nervous to curious, as you wondered where Wanda was going with this.
“Yes you, and Nat,” she says unable to mask the smile that forms near automatically from the mention of her best friend.
“What if, der is no one der for me?” you wonder
"You will have so many other kids there that are your age that you can make friends with, malysh"
“What if dey don’t wike me?” You were genuinely worried about meeting other kids your age. You’ve only ever been around adults and you weren’t quite sure what to expect. Would they all already know each other? Would there be a certain way you were expected to act around them?
"What’s not to like? You have the kindest heart and the most beautiful spirit of anyone I know.” she was speaking from the heart as she genuinely believed what she told you. Wanda watched you go from this scared little girl who was being held captive in a Hydra base to a kid who gets excited to talk about the solar system and wildlife habitats with Peter. She watched you open up and accept these people, even the men on the team,  into your life despite your wariness. She’s sure you are capable of anything you really put your mind to, “Making friends has one simple rule and if you follow it, it's practically foolproof, do you know what that is?”
You just shook your head in response, waiting for her to continue.
“Just be yourself. If you do that you'll attract real friends who appreciate you for who you are," she said as she tapped your chest, pointing to your heart.
“Be myself?” you wondered what it meant as you repeated the words on your own tongue. You don’t recall ever acting like someone else. “Who else would I be?”
Wanda couldn't help but chuckle at your innocence and how cute you were, “Some people try to change for others. They change their personalities, their opinions, and sometimes even their looks just to fit in with other people.”
“Oh. so, wike, pwetending?”
"Exactly! You are capable of so much more than you realize, my little one. Have faith in yourself."
You thought over her words as the show continued to play in front of you on the TV. You were so close to being on board with it, but you couldn’t get over the possibility of being stuck there without a way out. The way Wanda spoke so highly of you, gave you the confidence you needed to believe you could make friends, but what if everything really did go horribly wrong, would you be stuck there all day?
“Mama?” you continued the conversation after a few minutes of watching tv had passed.
“Hmm?”
“I want to go to da sciewence schoowl, but what if I need you when I der?”
Wanda thought about this for a moment, You're far too young to have a cell phone, but a communication line wouldn’t be such a bad thing for you. It could help calm your anxiety and in her line of work, anything could happen so it would make things safer.
“Well, if there is something really important, you can tell your teacher and she can get ahold of me,” Wanda explained. You didn’t seem too satisfied with that answer though as you gave a somber acknowledgment. What if you weren't able to get the teacher's attention, or the teacher just plain refused, the plan just didn't seem very solid.
Wanda could see that you weren’t content with her solution, “Or I can show you a trick,” she offered.
Your face perked up, immediately intrigued, your little hands clutching a stuffed toy tightly, gazed up at Wanda with wide-eyed wonder, “a trick?” you asked
“Close your eyes, my little one,” Wanda explained and you did as she instructed, “now, take a deep breath. Imagine a warm light surrounding us, enveloping us like a soft, protective blanket. or a big fluffy cloud”
As you sat with your eyes closed, a serene smile graced Wanda's face. She concentrated, allowing her own powers to flow through her, and extended her thoughts toward you. With a gentle touch of her mind, she created a bridge between your thoughts, a telepathic connection unique to you.
"Now, detka," Wanda whispered, "I want you to think of something you want to tell me, but without saying it out loud. Just focus on the feeling and the words in your mind."
Your brows furrowed and your face scrunched in concentration, your little face reflecting the effort of trying to convey your thoughts through this newfound connection. Wanda could feel your tiny mind reaching out tentatively, like a fragile thread stretching between the two of you.
With each passing moment, the connection grew stronger, and soon your eyes fluttered open, revealing a mixture of surprise and delight. "Mama, can you hear me?" your innocent voice echoed softly between your minds, blending with the quiet hum of the room.
Wanda's heart swelled with joy as she nodded, her eyes shimmering with pride. "Yes, dorogoy, I can hear you!" she exclaimed, "Our thoughts are connected now, and no matter where we are, we can talk to each other like this. Whenever you need me, I will be there for you,” she explained.
In that magical moment, your minds intertwined, You two shared a connection that transcended words. With telepathy, you could communicate your deepest thoughts, dreams, and feelings, strengthening the unbreakable bond between mother and child. Perhaps most importantly to you though, you were able to reach Wanda without the confines of distance.
As you sat there, immersed in your newfound ability, Wanda couldn't help but marvel at the wonder of it all. She knew that this telepathic connection would serve as a source of comfort and reassurance for you, a constant reminder that you were always connected, even when physically apart.
With that, you were content with the decision to attend the science camp. Not only that, but you were excited again. Instead of focusing on the parts that worried you, you were able to shift your focus onto all the exciting things you were bound to learn and discover. Your mind ran wild with outrageous theories, like discovering fossils or trying to figure out the speed of a flamingo by simply racing beside it.
Tumblr media
The first day of camp approached rather quickly. In the days leading up, you would often use your new ability to have silent conversations with Wanda. Sometimes you would do it to practice and make sure that you still could when you needed to, and other times you did it to express feelings and emotions that you had trouble translating into words.
Wanda and Nat were both there to drop you off on your first day, you were less nervous than they expected you to be which they were grateful for. Now that you were able to contact Wanda you felt safe in exploring new experiences alone, and maybe that's because you never felt alone, because she would always be there for you if you needed.
The camp was divided into different age groups. The majority of the kids were 4th and 5th graders, but there was a small group of children your age. Wanda and Nat were grateful that you would have enough children to socialize with but not so many that it would seem overwhelming. Hopefully, with the smaller group, it would be easier to make friends.
In fact, you didn't even get to the classroom before you made your first friend, “Hi, I’m Matthew, what's your name?” you turned to the voice that spoke behind you, “Hi! I’m Y/N” you greeted. “Y/N! Dat’s a cool name! You wike space too? I wove space!” he mentioned as he noticed your shirt that showed a playful astronaut floating in space, holding a slice of pizza in one hand and giving a thumbs-up with the other reading Pizza Planet Explorer, “Wanna be fwreinds?” he asked.
You were caught off guard by how quickly he spoke and became distracted, but of course, you wanted to make friends and you already had something in common, “Yes, we can be fwreinds, I love space too. My favowite planet is Saturn” you enthusiastically replied.
“I wike Jupiter da most cuz it’s da biggest,” Matthew responded.
The two of you sat next to each other throughout the demonstrations and even shared a table at lunch. Wanda had packed you a container of yogurt, sliced strawberries and baby carrots, and some Mini turkey and cheese roll-ups which were basically just a turkey sandwich rolled into bite-sized pieces for easy eating. At the bottom of your lunch box, there was a note that read,
My Dearest Y/N,
I hope you're having a wonderful day at school! I am so incredibly proud of you. Remember, my little superhero, you have the power to do anything you set your mind to. Each day, you're growing stronger, smarter, and more amazing. I can't wait to hear all about your day when you come home. Keep shining bright, my sunshine.
With all my love,
Mama
You couldn’t help but smile as you attempted to read the note, you still weren’t really able to read but you were able to pick out keywords like love, smarter, amazing, and superhero, so you got the vibe and felt comforted by it, which is all Wanda had hoped for.
“What’s dat?” Matthew asked as he saw you set the note down next to your baby carrots. “Oh, my mama wrote me a note” you explained.
“Oh wow, she must really love you,” he stated as he wondered why he never received any notes with his meal.
“Yea, she does,” you said with a gleaming smile.
You managed to survive the entire day without contacting Wanda at all. She hoped it was a good sign as she and Nat headed to pick you up. They were made sure to be there 5 minutes before pick-up so that you wouldn’t have to wait, knowing you’d be excited to see them and tell them all about how it went.
As soon as the door opened for dismissal, you immediately found Wanda’s green eyes and ran full speed with your arms stretched out reaching for a hug. She enveloped tightly you as she lifted you off the ground for a long embrace. The two were happy to see that your face was filled with nothing but joy.
Wanda continued to carry you as the three of you headed toward the car. Wanda ducked into the driver's seat after getting you settled into your car-seat and Nat took the seat next to you in the back so that she could hear all about your day.
“Sooo, how was it? Tell us all about it!” Nat insisted.
“Was so fun! We learned bout uhm- OH! JUPITER HAS A RAINSTORM! And Mafwew said dat if we went to space, der wouldn’t be any noise.”
“Matthew?” Wanda asked as she caught glimpses of you speaking through her rear view mirror.
“Yea mama! My new fwiend! He wikes space tew!” you excitedly announced. You went on to tell them all about the things that you learned and how much fun you had with Matthew. Tomorrow couldn't come quick enough.
“Did they give you any homework?” Nat asked once you had finished.
“Oh yea, is in my bag” you answered as you showed Nat where it was in your bag. She read over the instructions and mentioned that you could do it right when you got home. The assignment wasn’t anything too difficult, but it sure was time-consuming.
The project was about energy and showing how much we consume every day. The worksheet was laid out so that all you had to fill in were blocks of color. You were given a piece to plug into your outlets and once you had the item mentioned plugged in, it would show an amount. Then you had to fill in the bubble that corresponded with the range on your outlet.
Nat and Wanda both helped you through this but you soon became bored and no longer wanted to do it. It was so repetitive and your toys were sitting right there just waiting to be played with. Eventually you got through it without making too much of a fuss and you could finally get on with what you wanted to do, except that didn't last long because before you knew it, Wanda was telling you it was bathtime.
“But mama, I just stawrted pwlayin” you said somberly.
Wanda wanted to give you more time to play but it was already getting late and you had to be up early tomorrow, “I know, I’m sorry baby, but it’s late and you need a bath before camp tomorrow.” Without a fight, you reluctantly followed hoping that tomorrow would be better.
Tumblr media
When you arrived home from camp the next day, the same dreaded question was asked, “Do you have any homework today?” You remembered how long and grueling your homework was last night, and instead of showing them the papers that your teacher gave you, today, you simply shook your head. Of course, Nat, the trained super spy, noticed the hesitation in your response as the gears turned in your brain and saw right through you. Deciding that she would look in your bag herself once you all arrive at the compound.
You immediately ran to the common room to play with your toys. Natasha, in the kitchen with Wanda, investigated your bag as Wanda cleaned your lunch box. “No homework huh?” Nat muttered as she held up your papers for Wanda to see. They shared a knowing look as Nat mentioned she would talk to you while Wanda finished cleaning out your lunch.
Natasha entered the common room, a concerned expression on her face, holding your backpack in her hand. She had a feeling something was off when you claimed there was no homework. She sat down next to you, as you played with your toys.
"Hey, sweetheart," Natasha said gently, placing the bag on the coffee table. "I happened to find something interesting in your backpack. Do you want to explain why you said you didn't have any homework?"
Your eyes widened, realizing you had been caught in your little white lie. You fidgeted with your toys, avoiding Natasha's gaze. "I... I didn't want to do it. It- it takes SOO long, and den I don’t get to play." you admitted.
Natasha reached out and gently turned your face towards her, meeting your eyes. "Sweetheart, I understand that homework can sometimes feel dull, but it's important to be honest with us. We're here to help and support you, but we need to know what's going on."
Wanda entered the room once your bag was all cleaned. Sensing the tension, she knelt down beside Natasha and spoke in a reassuring tone. "Y/N, we want you to succeed in everything you do. And that includes being honest, even when it's hard. We're a family, and families trust and support each other."
A family.
Natasha noticed the term and felt elated that she was included in the phrase. The three of you were a family. It didn’t matter whether Wanda and Nat were best friends, or something more than that; the three of you were family. You felt their endless love, even if they hadn’t figured out that part of that love lay within each other.
Your lower lip quivered, realizing the weight of your actions. "I'm sorry, Natty. I didn't mean to lie."
Natasha's expression softened, and she pulled you into a comforting hug. "It's okay, sweetheart. We all make mistakes, and the important thing is to learn from them. Let's work on being honest with each other, alright?"
Wanda joined the hug, enveloping you both in her warm embrace. "We love you, Y/N, no matter what. And we're here to help you with your homework too. It doesn't have to be boring. We can find fun and creative ways to learn together."
You sniffled, feeling a mix of relief and remorse. They were right. Lying wasn't the solution, and you knew deep down that they were always there to support her. You nodded, determined to make things right.
“It can be fun?” you wondered how they planned to turn such a mundane task into something, fun.
“We can turn it into a special challenge!" Nat chimed in
You looked up, curious about the proposal. "A challenge?"
Wanda chimed back in, joining the conversation. "That's right, sweetheart! We'll create a reward system for each task you complete. Once you finish your homework, we can all have a movie night or make your favorite dessert together."
Your eyes lit up with excitement. "Really? We can have a movie night?"
Natasha nodded. "Absolutely! But first, we need to get those homework assignments done. Let's break it down into smaller tasks, so it feels less overwhelming. We'll be right here with you, cheering you on."
Wanda took your hand and sat beside you at the table. Nat and Wanda each took turns reading different questions out for you.
With their gentle encouragement and the promise of a fun reward, you felt motivated. They both stayed by your side, offering guidance and praise as you worked through each task. They made the process enjoyable by adding some playful moments and even turning math problems into little games.
As you completed each question, you couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. With every finished task, you grew more confident and proud of yourself. By the time you completed your last assignment, you practically beamed with joy. Almost as if homework was just as fun as playtime with your toys.
Natasha and Wanda gathered around you, excitedly applauding your efforts. "Great job, Y/N! You did it!" Natasha exclaimed.
Wanda hugged you tightly. "We're so proud of you, sweetheart."
You grinned, feeling a sense of pride and happiness wash over you. With your two favorite people by your side, even homework could turn into an adventure filled with love and support; and as promised, you all enjoyed a delightful movie night, celebrating your achievements. You had shocked both Wanda and Nat with your choice of movie for the night, Planet 51, purely because it was something other than Frozen.
For the rest of the week, Natasha and Wanda made it a point to create a positive and engaging homework routine for you. They turned studying into a fun activity, incorporating games, rewards, and plenty of encouragement. You learned that honesty and open communication were far more rewarding than any short-lived escape from homework.
Together, you tackled assignments, explored new concepts, and celebrated each milestone. You discovered that learning could be an exciting journey, especially when shared with your favorite people.
//
A few days later, the aroma of a freshly cooked meal wafted through the air of the kitchen, tempting your taste buds and filling the room with mouthwatering scents as you sat patiently at the table. Once Wanda had begun serving up plates of food, you noticed that the meal was something that you had no interest in eating. Your once adventurous appetite had transformed into a discerning palate, making mealtime a challenge for your loving guardians, Natasha and Wanda.
"Come on, Y/N," Natasha coaxed, her voice gentle but firm. "You need to eat your vegetables. They'll make you strong like a superhero."
Your bottom lip jutted out, and you crossed her arms, proclaiming, "I don't like vegables, Natty!"
Wanda, with her patient demeanor, joined in, her voice filled with warmth. "But sweetheart, vegetables have magical powers! They can give you energy to run fast like-" Wanda abruptly cut her sentence short at the sudden realization that you had never met her brother. Pietro never had the chance to become an uncle before his life was tragically taken from her, him. She struggled to come up with a new comparison, as her mind was scrambling to revive her sentence. Nat immediately picked up on Wanda’s distress and quickly put a reassuring hand on Wanda’s shoulder as she took over, “They can make you strong like Mr. Bucky and Peter,” Nat concluded.
The presence of Nat’s hand on her shoulder quelled Wanda’s mind from running in circles trying to backpedal as she focused on the way it felt to have Nat soothingly move her hand from her shoulder to her back in a messy circular motion, subconsciously leaning into her ever so slightly.
You glanced skeptically at the colorful array of vegetables on your plate. "Really?"
Natasha nodded, a playful sparkle in her eyes. "Absolutely! And if you eat your vegetables, you might even develop some superpowers of your own."
You carried the skepticism into your look back to Nat, “I alweady hab powers!” You said as you called her out.
Nat’s eyes widened ever so slightly as she remembered that little detail but you didn’t catch the slight crack in her resolve. She was so used to treating you like a kid, like a normal kid, that she began to suppress the fact that you are in fact enhanced yourself, “New ones,” she responded as she covered up her slight oversight.
Wanda smiled as she watched the interaction, her voice filled with excitement. "Perhaps you'll develop the power to talk to animals or create beautiful flowers with just a wave of your hand."
Your imagination ignited, and you tentatively reached for a small piece of broccoli, eyeing it with newfound intrigue. Hesitantly taking a bite, to your surprise, a burst of flavor danced on your tongue.
"Yummy!," You exclaimed, a hint of both shock and amazement in your voice.
Natasha and Wanda exchanged triumphant glances, their plan unfolding successfully. They knew that sometimes a dash of imagination and a sprinkle of superhero magic were all it took to conquer a picky eater's heart.
Encouraged by your enthusiasm, Natasha and Wanda continued to weave tales of vegetable-powered adventures, turning each bite into a step closer to unlocking extraordinary powers. With every vegetable conquered, your confidence grew, and soon the plate was empty—a victorious battle won against the picky eater dilemma.
As you savored the last bite, you looked up at Natasha and Wanda, a bright smile lighting up your face. "I did it! I ate all my vegebles, just wike a real superhero!"
Natasha and Wanda shared a proud glance, their hearts brimming with joy. Together, they celebrated the triumph of a small victory, knowing that love, creativity, and a touch of superhero magic had transformed a picky eater into a courageous little hero.

Comfort
Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Word Count: 1.3k
Notes: High school Au, fluff, comfort, 1st person
Summary: Reader is dragged along to a sleepover at the Maximoff's house. However when she gets there Wanda isn't her usual happy-go-lucky self. She seeks comfort in the reader, which is a shock to the entire group.
Masterlist | Pt2 | Pt3
Tumblr media
" Y/n?"
I pulled my gaze away from my phone only to be met with my whole friend group staring at me.
" Hm," I gave them my attention.
" Sleepover at the Maximoff's, you're going," Natasha told me rather than asking.
" What if I had plans?"
Tony laughed," We are the only people you interact with."
Tony's words cause me to roll my eyes," By choice, Richie Rich."
I didn't have a problem staying at the Maximoff household. In fact, they had the second-nicest house in the group (only second to Tony). I just had to keep my mean streak alive.
" So we'll see you there?" Wanda asked enthusiastically.
She was my polar opposite in the group. While she was the popular, bubbly, cheerleader; I was the sarcastic, yet quiet, pessimistic one of the group. She was the yin to my yang in a way.
Before I could answer, Natasha stepped in again," I'll pick her up at 6."
Wanda was still waiting for my own confirmation. I nodded and let out a heavy sigh," I mean, it doesn't sound like I have much of a choice."
A smile presented itself over her features," Good, it's not the same without you."
I looked away from the group to hide the light blush on my face from Wanda's kind words.
" Yes, because Y/n has so much budding personality," Clint chimed in.
" Clint, all of your personality comes from Laura, maybe we should invite her instead?"
Bruce broke out in laughter," You poked the bear and got the claws, my friend."
" So what time? What should I bring? Will there be adult supervision or?"
I tuned out the conversation as Steve began to ramble. My eyes unintentionally shifted over to Wanda. She was beautiful, way out of my league. Even just for friendship.
I had a crush on her for about as long as I could remember. No one knew about it, thankfully. I'm sure Natasha had her suspicions, but she never brought it up. Besides, Wanda had a boyfriend, his name was Jarvis, but everyone called him Vision. Football players and their weird nicknames, right.
He made her happier than she already was, which made him alright in my book.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the free period. I reluctantly let Steve drag me to put the next class together. He was still talking a mile a minute, trying to figure out what he was bringing to the Maximoff's.
When school was over, I went home and threw some clothes in a bag. Natasha ended up coming by early, and we hung out for a bit.
" So, I saw you blushing early today."
" I don't know what you're talking about," I brushed her off easily.
Natasha smirked," You know I've had my suspicions, but I think that I've found concrete evidence."
" Evidence of what exactly?"
Her eyes twinkled with mischief as they met mine," You like Wanda."
" Of course I do. In the same way, I like you or Steve or any of our friends."
Natasha shakes her head," You know that's not what I meant."
Before she could go any further, both of our phones went off. It was a message to the group chat, but without Wanda.
Pietro had texted an S.O.S for everyone to come early. He didn't explain himself, which made me worry.
Natasha and I left as soon as we got the text. The red head was speeding, but I didn't care. I just wanted to know what was going on. The faster we got there, the sooner we'd know.
It seemed like we were the last to arrive, as our friends' cars were parked in the driveway.
When we finally entered the house, the men were on edge. They looked relieved to see us walk in the door.
" What's going on?" Natasha spoke first.
They all moved out of the way so that Wanda was in our view. She was not the happy ball of sunshine that she usually was. She was curled up in a ball on the couch, in a hoodie that engulfed her. I could hardly see her face.
Pietro spoke softly, but his eyes burned fiercely," Jarvis broke up with her. Over text."
I could feel my jaw clench involuntarily. Natasha sprang into action and went over to comfort the girl. Wanda looked up at Natasha, but wasn't engaging with her.
The broken-hearted girl got up from the couch. She began walking in the direction of the boys and I. I watched her curiously and felt surprise overtake me as she wrapped her arms around my waist.
My eyes shot up to look at my friends. This was new. I had no idea what to do. They looked just as wide-eyed and confused as me. Natasha was the one to signal that I hug her back.
So my arms awkwardly engulfed the girl. My hold on her was loose, but I was combatting a shock of my own.
'Take her to her room' Pietro mouthed to me and I nodded.
" Wanda, let's go to your room."
I didn't get a response from the girl. Instead, she surprised me again by wrapping her legs around my waist. I was quick to support her so that she wouldn't fall.
I looked at my friends again, but they all shooed me up the stairs. I was careful as I walked with Wanda in my arms. When we got to her room, she unattached herself from me.
I had planned on standing there awkwardly, but Wanda had a different idea. She led me to her bed and lightly pushed me until I was lying down. She climbed on top of me.
I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. Her head rested closer to my shoulder. My hand found its way into her hair. I dragged my fingers through it, more to calm myself than her.
" Wands," my voice came out as a whisper.
" I don't want to talk about it," her voice was hoarse from crying.
I chuckled a little bit," Is that why you picked me?"
She lifted her head so that her eyes pierced through mine," I picked you, because you give me the most comfort."
A blush spread across my face, I couldn't necessarily hide it with Wanda on top of me. I saw a small smile take over her features as she noticed my newly pigmented face.
" I don't think I know how to comfort anyone," I tried to avoid her gaze.
She laughs lightly," I don't think you give yourself enough credit, Y/n."
" I honestly feel like you're giving me too much."
Wanda moved to my side, I turned to face her. She began to lightly draw patterns on my hand.
" I remember the way you ran onto the field when Piet got injured during the soccer game. You were down there before the medics. You were mad that they didn't let you ride in the ambulance."
" I was scared. I'm scared now, but this is different."
" How is it different?"
I wasn't looking at her but at the ceiling,"I felt like being there was enough for him, but it doesn't seem like enough for you. I feel like I'm supposed to say something to make you feel better, but I don't know what to say."
She briefly stopped tracing patterns on my hand to hold it. My gaze dropped to her eyes," Being here is enough. You are enough, Y/n."
" You have to stop being so nice to me," my free hand went to cover my face.
This caused Wanda to let out a real laugh," I like seeing you blush, it's cute."
This only caused me to turn a deeper shade of red. " Are you ready to go back downstairs?"
" If you promise to stick by my side."
I got out of the bed and extended my hand towards her," As long as you'll have me."
She took my hand and we went downstairs together. She didn't leave my side the whole night. I don't think my friends had seen me smile so much.
I knew that she was heartbroken, but the thought that I brought her comfort made me ecstatic. I knew that I liked her, but having her this close made me realize something. I was completely in love with Wanda Maximoff.

Chapter 5
Pull myself together, you can watch it happen
Reader POV
It’s been a long time since you dated. Too long, your friends might argue.
But how could you have explained to them that you were scared.
Scared that you will end up giving your heart to another man, again.
Scared that he will shatter it to pieces, again.
Scared that you will never be able to get those pieces together and make yourself whole, again.
So, you did what you did best. Lie. Put on a mask of indifference and make excuses. You’re too busy, there’s too much to do, you cannot afford a distraction. And it worked.
But now, after what happened last night, you needed a distraction. You needed something, someone to take your mind off those six feet of muscle and metal, before you ruin yourself, again.
And here you are, talking to Pietro Maximoff.
He was the twin brother of Wanda Maximoff, the drummer for “The Avengers” and a friend of Steve’s from his music school. Coincidentally he started his Master’s programme at Harvard around the same time you started your law, and it was through Steve you both connected. That and you ran in the same circles made you friendly acquaintances who hung out a bunch of times over the years.
He was a fun, outgoing man, unanticipatedly intelligent. You liked him, but not enough to agree to go out with the few times he did ask you. you weren’t ready to date anyway, and even if you were, you sure as hell wouldn’t go for a reckless womanizer like Pietro, who was notorious all over the campus for his flirting skills.
But maybe that’s what you required right now. A fun, reckless fling without any responsibilities or emotional attachments. And when Natasha happened to mention that Pietro was in the city for a project, you took it as a sign and texted him.
You had no compunctions about making the first move, you took what you wanted, when you wanted it.
He was enthusiastic about your offer to meet up, and so you, Y/N Rogers, dressed up to go out on a date for the first time in four years.
Bucky POV.
Advertisement shoots were going to be the death of him. Bucky was never good at standing still and holding his smile for an extended amount of time, but since “the camera loved him” according to Tony, the Band’s manager, here he was, struck in an endless day of flashes and posing.
But as he started for home at the end of the day, his fatigue seemed to melt away at the thought of seeing you. the past few days had been magical. You had started talking to him, and not just stilted monosyllabic answers, hour long conversations. You even went with him to the farmers market to get groceries. He had never thought that walking through an overcrowded marketplace in sweltering heat would make him this giddy, but here he was. You weren’t in a place to rekindle what you had in the past as of now, but a guy could dream.
he stopped the car on the way home to get you some mangoes. You had already finished the ones Steve bought for you. Maybe today he could make a smoothie for you. maybe pick out an action movie and make an evening out of it. Bucky wasn’t a fan of those, preferring to stick to rom coms in general. But you seemed to love that mindless violence, and if it was for you, Bucky would watch hours of it.
He made a beeline to your room to tell you about his idea, just as you were walking out of the door. Unmindful of where you were going, you slammed into his chest. Bucky remained unmoved, slightly amused by how flustered you were. I mean it wasn’t every day one got to the calm, composed Y/N Rogers out of sorts.
Your eyes widened when you saw him, taken by surprise obviously. But it wasn’t like Bucky could ask why. the speech function of his brain was again unresponsive as he took you in.
To him, you were always a goddess, sweatpants or pantsuits.
But today you were dressed to kill. There wasn’t anything remotely scandalous about your pale white dress, it was in itself quite cute, with those small flowers embroidered on the delicate net. The neckline, the length was all normal, modest. Nope, the dress was not the extraordinary part.
It was the way you left your hair open, cascading down your back and shoulders. It was the way your skin had that luminous sparkle that he hadn’t seen in oh so long. It was the way your subtle yet sweet perfume reached out to him, the same you used to wear when you were his girl. He was so glad when he discovered you hadn’t changed it. He had always associated that smell with you.
“hey” you muttered, zeroing in on the fact that he wanted to talk to you.
“Um yeah hi. You’re going somewhere” he cursed himself for being so inarticulate, but for the moment his brain was dead.
“Oh, yeah. I’m meeting up with my friend from college. At that bar, near Sam’s place.”
“Tha…that’s great. You should go out. You work too much”
You could only nod.
He stepped aside to give to you space to leave, only to look at your backside. He didn’t want to come across as lecherous, but God that dress did things for your ass.
He followed you into the living room where Natasha and Steve were snuggled on the couch. Every time he saw them like that, his heart panged. Because it reminded him of all that he was missing. But he was hopeful, now more than ever, that this dream was now within his reach.
“All ready for your date?” Natasha asked.
It was a pail of cold water on the warmth that had seeped into Bucky’s chest.
Reader’s POV
“A Date?!” Bucky asked, not caring how much belligerent he sounded.
You were afraid of this happening, of Bucky finding out that you were going out on a date.
Why? You had no clue. Its not like you’re together, or broken up recently. You’ve been apart for longer that you were together, plenty of time for any remnant emotion to dissipate. It was logical,
But that’s the thing about Bucky. Nothing was governed by rationality when it came to him.
“You said you were having drinks with a friend?” he questioned again. You looked around the room to find a very amused looking Natasha and a very confused Steve.
“Well, technically Pietro is a friend, and we are meeting over drinks….”
“Pietro? Pietro Maximoff?!! Wanda’s brother.?!!” Bucky thundered.
“Bucky you need to chill the fuck out. so, she’s going on a date, what does it matter to you? Pietro is Wanda’s brother, I assure you Y/N is not related to him in any way for you to be reacting like that” Nat admonished him, though her words lacked their usual bite.
All this while Bucky kept looking at you with so much heat you could feel blisters on your skin. You hated that his indignation was affecting you so much.
Suddenly he turned away from you, your body feeling physically cold at the lack of his glare.
“Steve, you cannot possibly be cool with this man. That guy is known all over as a Casanova. There’s no way you’re letting Y/N go out with him?!”
You bristled at the implication of needing Steve’s permission to date, but before you could give this dumbass a piece of your mind, Steve unexpectedly came to your rescue.
“Bucky, Its like you said, Y/N is all grown up now, capable of making her own decisions. I’m not stopping her from going out and having fun, especially after she’s worked her ass off for so long. Plus, Pietro is staying in New York for a while, and if things work out, then it’ll just be another reason for her to stay back.” Steve just shrugged casually, still uncomprehending why his buddy is getting so protective over his younger sister.
Bucky opened his mouth to say something, but you had run out of shits to give.
“Now if completely unnecessary and absolutely moronic conversation is over, I have reservations to keep.” With that, you slammed the door to the penthouse close.
It was your first date in years, and you’ll be damned if you let James Buchanan Barnes destroy it.
Bucky POV
“Pour me another” he tapped on his glass, signalling Sam to pass the bottle of whiskey over to him.
“I am not. Not before you tell me why you barged in my house and went straight to my liquor cabinet. You said you’ll tell me after you finished your drink, and you have. So, tell me Barnes!”
“I couldn’t bear staying at my place”
“Why the hell not? Did Y/N finally kick your ass out for being a pathetic fool?”
“she’s on a date.”
“Wait, what? A date?! I thought everything was going on track”
“YES SAMUEL! I THOUGHT SO TOO.BUT SHE IS ON A FUCKING DATE! SHE CAME BACK INTO MY LIFE; I STARTED DREAMING OF US GETTING BACK TOGETHER, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT PIETRO MOTHERFUCKING MAXIMOFF IS TAKING THE ONLY WOMAN MY HEART HAS AND WILL EVER BEAT FOR ON A FUCKING DATE!!” Bucky exploded, channelling all the anguish trapped inside in his cathartic speech. And yet he didn’t feel lighter, only dejected.
Sam, however, was unfazed by this outburst.
“Pietro Maximoff? Well shit. He’s one beautiful bastard. Also, very popular with the ladies I hear…”
“Sam..” Bucky growled his name in a warning.
“What are you gonna do about it James? you know apart from sitting here and crying like a bitch.”
“What can I do? stop her? How even? “he sighed, his heart constricting at the thought of letting you go, again. “Just when I felt like I could hold onto her, she slipping away”
“THIS is what I don’t understand!” Sam threw his hands in the air in frustration.  “you are the same person who built the most successful band in the world out of nobodies through sheer hard work. Even when you had that goddamn accident, you didn’t stop. Never once did you let anything deter you from getting what you wanted. And yet, right now when you need that badass attitude the most, you’re quitting like a fucking loser.”
“You want your girl Barnes? Its time to go get her.”
