[06.01.2024: saturday]
5/100 days of productivity
surprisingly i woke up very early and energized today. i cut up some fruit for myself and am going to get some history revision done before i focus on biology.
goals for today:
- revise post-war history 1945-1949 (✓)
- practice exams for napoleonic wars (productivity goal) (✓)
- practice questions on ww1 (✓)
- plan biology studying for the week ahead (✓)
- write 500 words for my wip (✓)
it's been a bit since i last worked on my wip and right now i feel like writing would be a good way to get rid of the anxiety i'm feeling in regards to my exams, so that's what i'm planing on doing tonight.
i hope you have a great and productive day.

Aberglaubens Band 9
in the twitching of the lightning in the storm you can recognize the flying and tangled strands of hair of the storm woman (the wind bride, Frau Holle) - the so-called Holles braid.

Do you ever get some inspiration from just listening to a song, to a noise, a voice, a single word? I just listened to a song of one of my fav bands. And now I got stuck with an idea for dnd that will never come to be alive with my own players, but I still wanted it written down, and tumblr was already open^^ So hope you enjoy the little picture i had: A ship, big and majestic, sailed by a crew made up of only clerics and paladins, every race, every gender can join and mingle. They have no uniform, no masks, no set weapons. Their sign is a fishers net behind a wing with a halo of water and wind around it. They are followers of a Godess called the “Windsbraut” which can be roughly translated with Bride of the Winds/ Stormbride.
They have a head priest or paladin, standing at the highest part of the ship talking to their Godess and listening to her. The Godess herself is depicted as a humanoid being with flowing hair of different colors, 2 pairs of wings adorning her back, her gaze wild and still steady. The ship follows her commands, following her voice over the wide open seas, led by her winds and will, helping whereever they land. Her followers are loyal, true and wild.
I think the Windsbraut is a neutral Godess and mostly a deity to wanderers, fishermen, sailors, lovers of the wide open sea, etc.
Hope some of you like the idea^^

In Germanic folklore, the Windsbraut is a type of felgeist that is the spirit of the whirlwind. The name translates as "wind's bride," and though they are traditionally female, they can occasionally be male. They are said to steal the earnings of farmers, but can be turned away by throwing a knife into the whirlwind.
The Windsbraut was the subject of a 1914 painting by Austrian artist Oskar Kokoschka, though the piece is largely metaphorical and is largely unrelated to the feldgeist.
