Hello!! Do you have any full body references of Bettyjuice? I want to draw one of my Beetlejuice OCs hanging out with her (if that's okay!!)

What a wonderful question! Yes, you may absolutely use Betty to your heart’s content, she’s not mine to gatekeep anyway! And I would love nothing more than to be a helpful resource to make that happen! (So long as you use it to inspire your works. Please do not use or trace my images directly! But that’s just a general thing that I do not think applies to you)

I will admit, I never really use a reference when drawing Betty… I mostly use screenshots from the cartoon and pair it up with muscle memory. So while I don’t have a full turnaround available, I did whip up a guide and some notes on how I approach her anatomy.

The Highest Cost (David x OC)

“I just want to figure out why my dreams are linked to this town. There is something here, and they're trying to show me what.” 

Cadence scoffed. “If we stay here, we might die. Don't you think that's what they mean?”

Even after telling her at the hospital about David’s statement about her dreams being linked to her, she could not understand why Cadence wanted to leave. Did she not want to help her? What if the visions went away. She could be free of them. Yes, she was right about the danger, but Mia did not care. She was so close to the truth. 

David would understand. 

As soon as the thought crossed her mind, she immediately felt selfish. Was it her future she wanted to know more about? Or David. 

Sweet Revenge (Betelgeuse x OC)

The persistent honk-honk of a beat-up Accord speeding up the washed-out driveway woke Lilah from a dreamless nap. It was a strange belief that the dead could fall asleep, one that came as a shock four months ago when she first did it. But what really shook her was when she woke to find herself floating 24 inches off the floor. 

Love Me Bitterly (Adam x OC)

“Did you see who claimed the VIP seats?” Lita asked. 

Marcella clasped the necklace and then hummed. 

“No. I was just focused on getting here.”

Tossing her soft lavender hair over her shoulder, Lita motioned for her to follow and led her to the mouth of the tent. Seated in the VIP section, at the front of the stage, were a ‘Seraphim’, and two ‘Archangels’. Marcella widened her eyes in shock. One in particular made her heart race. 

“Azrael is here.” She could not believe it. 

Future On Hold (Cidolfus 'Cid' Telamon x OC)

“I don't want to sound pessimistic, but there is a reason the Deadlands are inhabitable.”

“For all we know,” Cid retorted. “No damn fool has ever tried to settle in it.” 

Eirene frowned. 

“Is the cause of the Blight not more important?”

“What do you reckon caused the Blight?” Cid asked. He sat the book down beside him and untied a pouch from his side, searching for a water crystal. 

Eirene had her theories, but she was not sure. 

“The Mothercrystals, I assume.”

Realizing that Cid might take offense, she tried to apologize. Quite a few Valistheans did not share her opinion, but luckily, the Lord Commander seemed to have an open mind. He merely snorted. 

“It makes the most sense, but until it's proven, making use of the Deadlands is the next best option.”

“And if we can not?” Eirene asked.

She was genuinely curious.

“Then we are doomed,” Cid answered grimly.

He believed that it was far too late, but he could not give up. With an initiated sigh, he poured the contents of the pouch onto the ground. The water crystal was missing.

“Fuck.”

Eirene sighed. She understood a little, but it was a fool’s errand. At least someone was doing something. She sighed and brought her hand out over the turned earth, materializing a sphere of water. Gently small drops wet the soil. 

A scolding grunt from Cid made her grin.

“Someone has to do it.” 

“Brat,” Cid retorted. 

Where the Tainted Kiss (Vaas Montenegro x OC)

“You want my fucking attention, huh?” Vaas asked. Even with a gun pointed at him, his eyes showed no fear. It was like he did not believe she would do it. “Come on. Show me how much of a badass you've become. ¡Muéstrame! ¡Vamos! (Show me! Come on)!”

Liv tightened her jaw. She was not afraid of him, but her hands trembled. Angry tears poured down her heated cheeks. She had him right where she wanted him. He was at her mercy, and yet she was hesitant. But why? He pushed her to this. He made her into a monster.

Rapture (Vampre Albert Wesker x OC)

Tossing aside the dust jacket, she took the ledger back to Dylan and squatted beside him, showing him the pages.

“What is this?”

“Fuck you,” Dylan rasped. 

His voice was coming back. The extract was slowing his regenerative abilities, but he still was not able to move much, aside from his head. 

Aria sighed in annoyance.

“Even in death, you lot are stubborn. Look…I know you're not scared of me. But you are scared of someone. This shitshow is going tits up as soon as I make the call, and you know who is not going to be happy. What I'm doing to you is gonna seem like a tickle compared to what he's gonna do.”

“I don't know who you are talking about,” Dylan retorted. 

Something in his voice seemed genuine. Perhaps he didn't know who he was dealing with.

“I feel sorry for you, I do. You'll find out soon enough.”

Recently watched the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice movie and from there it was a spiral down to the musical, listening to the soundtrack, watching animations for it and THEN I’ve been seeing so much fanart of the movie and seeing clips from the musical.

Ever since, my hyperfixation has shifted and I LOVE IT XD am I going to write a Beetlejuice story with an OC of mine and go crazy?

The plot (which is based off the musical): The bio-exorcist runs into a runaway teen who is basically as chaotic and as sassy and sarcastic as him after the whole fiasco with the Deetzes and Maitlands. She apparently can see him and he has no clue why. New best friend? Maybe. She doesn’t want that…yet. They get into misadventures, Beetlejuice apparently trying to keep her from getting killed or doing something completely stupid. The girl is annoyed the bio-exorcist won’t leave her alone. Seems like they both need a friend in these trying times….

Adam’s dad- very little.

Adam’s mom - she’d rather die than get in a fight. she gets angry, but she’s too afraid of the consequences of asserting herself.

Barbara’s dad - he’s pretty reasonable, but politics will get him riled up.

Barbara’s mom - if anyone said anything bad about her daughter, she’d murder them.

Nephthys - fights are enrichment for her. she’d defend babs and adam from anything in their way.

What words could tear your character down?

Adam’s dad - any argument from his family. he doesn’t know how to deal with not being the one with the power.

Adam’s mom - being told she’s fake. she’s afraid of being seen through and criticized for being unable to truly fit societal expectations.

Barbara’s dad - being told he’s a bad father. he gives his everything to be good to barbara, especially after his wife dies, so someone telling him he’s not good enough would kill him.

Barbara’s mom - barbara losing hope. her last days were her hardest because she had to see her teenage daughter act like there’s not life without her.

Nephthys - on a way lighter note, any scolding will make her very sad :( sensitive kitty

Adam’s dad - often. his conscious is guilty and that’s the way it manifests.

Adam’s mom - an average amount

Barbara’s dad - less than the average person

Barbara’s mom - less than average until her accident; her last weeks are full of nightmares.

100 of years old shape-shifting jester thing whos the literal personification of chaos and disorder with just so many issues meets 10 year old pyschic

Assumes she's her great-something granddaughter due to her having had a relationship with her great-something grandmother in the past. Spoiler alert! She is not, but they already pack-bonded so they chill together now.

The jester is also divorced from the grand spirit of winter, 10 year old pyschic makes a homunculas to be her brother and later adopts a semi-unwilling anxious fishperson into the family. Said fishperson is just as insane as the rest of them are but tries to pretend they are normal.

took a nap, had a dream

So I appear in some weird room (it isn't mine or dream-me's room) and I look around. I immediately feel like someone has summoned me, and draw a conclusion that I'm probably having a Today I'm Beetlejuice Because Yes dream, so I decide to go wander around, getting as best I can into his headspace to give a convincing act, and I find some woman sitting there, and in my head I have a feeling I've been summoned by her before so I go

"Whyd ya summon me again, babes?"

And she literally turned around and, with the most horrified/disgusted look on her face

"I didn't summon you- what the hell are you doing in my house???"

And I just sat there for a bit and went

"Then who did???"

And then I'm suddenly an observer and i see that Dream Beej looks really bad in like a "this is my oc, his name is insectbeverage" type of way, and I'm cringing on the inside ofc and the lady and him go back and forth and he's clearly like has a history with her but she thinks her daughter summoned dreambeej and then some evil ahh guy walks in, seemingly looking for something, sees dreambeej, seems happy, and then I wake up and realise I need to eat dinner

Friendship: What's your OC like as a friend? How are they at making new friends? What are the most important friendships in your OC's life?

Sorcha… makes friends easily, but struggles to convert to real, lasting, trusting friendships. She was never really a Wild Rose, just their mentor's bratty daughter who acted like she was one of the gang and who they occasionally had to look after or call on.

That said...

Thomas Tirion Macintyre; Wee Tam to his friends. Tam and Sorcha were two queer kids who made it through the hell of Jesuit school together. Tam took a chance on the weird Italian girl who said the furniture was haunted, Sorcha dropped everything and rushed home when Tam was homeless and in trouble. They're ride or die, and Sorcha has been careful to keep him out of her bullshit as best she can. They're business partners too; Tam runs the supply line for her drug lab and extends her connections into Strathclyde University.

Nero Giovanni. Yes, really. For all that they've fucked each other over, for all that they aggravate each other, Nero looked out for Sorcha when she first ran away to the US, and they'll forgive each other more or less anything. Family's family, and slut solidarity is real.

Mia Monroe. It took Sorcha a while to get past her gay panic with this one, but knowing Mia is her gateway into knowing Antonia, Nick, Fina, Hazel… if it hadn't been for Mia, Sorcha might not be the lil' scene queen she is tonight. She doesn't always agree with Mia philosophically, but the disagreements are always informed and reasonable, and that's what matters. Mia's squeamishness around necromancy delights Sorcha (makes her feel brave) almost as much as her apparent weakness for Sorcha's first language...

Hazel Blanke. Hazel is a peer, a contemporary, an enabler, a cheerleader, a fellow traveller, an older sister/bestest bitch/transparent girl crush… they came up at the same time and in similar situations that they've handled very differently. Sorcha idolises Hazel for her work with the safehouses (it's praxis) and her alchemical hustle, and she wants Hazel to see the best side of her, to benefit from her as much as she does from Hazel. Knowing Hazel has unlocked new ideas in Sorcha's deviant little mind, and transformed how she feels about being a thinblood and what potential that has. Also, she's tol. And cute.

Beetlejuice. If Sorcha is BJ's best friend, that's... kinda sad, because sometimes Sorcha wants to push her off a bridge, and sometimes Sorcha can't help but sass her 'cause her Camarilla/Gen X attitude is showing. Buuut when the chips are down, Sorcha genuinely cares about BJ, and acknowledges she's had a hard life and has made the choices she has for reasons. Scrambles her brain a bit seeing a hottie her own age and knowing she's grumpy auntie material underneath, but whatever. They're mates. Sorcha wouldn't wish anything really bad on BJ. Just a slap. Sometimes.

dropping lore no one asked for but I wanted to bring out just incase

-static was almost gonna be a telephone but I gave up on it and just used his original fnaf oc TV thing I created (there's no dead kid inside though, trust)

-static was originally gonna have a different unit number (2701) but instead I flipped 1109 because I needed static to be an older squip to show that c!will has been dealing with squips for a long time + making it 0911 makes the numbers go in order (9 and 11)

-sometimes both static and will talk at the same time. it's not always apparent since static uses multiple colours depending on who they're talking about, but purple usually means they're both talking or are both being talked about

-my partner has no fucking clue that she used to be a character (hence lorissa's name being different from her actual name, etc)

-I almost wrote a song about squill... not anymore

-squill was very close to having a separate appearance from will. that's still an idea floating around but I'm not so sure right now

-c!will's favorite song is don't listen (by jakeneutron; yes amanda the adventurer). static's favourite song is probably below the surface (by griffinilla; yes the fnaf song). squill's favourite song is either time adventure from adventure time OR invisible reprise / on the roof from beetlejuice
