notes: afab!reader, tried to be gender-neutral to the best of my ability, talks of menstrutation (duh), reader implied to be a part of the investigation team, yosuke being stupid, bc no fr me every month

yu narukami

it was in the tv world when you started to feel the cramps. the small ones act as a bit of a warning before you start bleeding, so when you felt that familar twist in your gut, all you could think was "goddamnit."

yu noticed your sour mood instantly, even if you put on a bit of a positive facade. he'd ask you what was wrong, citing your slight grimace as a cause for concern. you'd wave him off, saying, "oh, it's almost that time of the month". he let you be, but let you know he's here to help :)

the next day, he got a call from you asking to come over.

you were miserable. ibuprofen, heating pads, hot water bottles, nothing seemed to help. yu came up to your room and saw you curled up in a ball on your bed, still in your pajamas.

"whoa. that bad, huh?"

you nodded, whining with a frustrated groan. "every month."

yu had to force back down a rather impassioned speech about the plights of women (we love a feminist king) when he heard another whimper of pain.

"alright, come here, do you think a massage might help? cuddling? food? whatever you need, i'm here for."

you settled for a massage and cuddles. it helped ease the pain slightly, but most of all, distract you for the time being.

yosuke hanamura

he's, er, a little less learned than yu is in terms of menstruation. he's def one of those guys who like, crumples with those period pain simulators.

he only really notices when your mood gets a bit snippy and, whenever you sit, you hunch over slightly to put the pressure on your stomach. ...and when one of his female team members tells him what's going on. mentally slaps himself for not noticing sooner.

but he's eager to help you, no matter what. no partner of his is going to be in so much pain!

tries to make a game plan. go to junes, get whatever you need - heating pad, menstrutation products (he's scared to ask what size you need, he stumbles over his words like. seventeen times.), gets you your favourite comfort snacks.

practically kicks down your bedroom door holding plastic grocery bags of supplies.

"do not fear, your knight in shining armour has arrived! ...heh, uh, where can i put all this?"

at least his antics make you smile despite the cramping. eventually the two of you decide to spoon, with him being the big spoon, and waiting out the pain together. he did all he could to help, and as you waited for the pain to subside (and munched on the snacks he got), you helpfully gave him a run-down on how everything works.

he'll be well-prepared next month, for sure!

-You told him that the only thing to get Persona is to accept death.

-He cannot believe it.

-If you warned him bout Evoker, he'll thumbs up although he's unsure if he'll calm himself or not.

-But at the same time, its cool that you bring out a gun awakening Persona but please next time, remind him.

-As time goes by, he's used to it although he reminded himself that its not an actual gun or else, Chie will kick his ass.

inaba is a small town, so it's not too strange that people end up falling in love with the same person. but nobody, not even the investigation team itself, would've expected that they'd all fall in love with you!

there were a lot of new faces in inaba, but you were the most recent person moving to inaba and attending yasogami high school! all eyes were naturally on you, as the new kid, but some eyes lingered on you even longer than the rest…

yosuke and rise were the first ones to develop a crush on you! as soon as they saw you, they were drawn to your looks and only began to like you more the more they got to talk to you!

for yu, chie and yukiko it took a little more time to fall for you, as they had to get to know you better first. sure, they could see you were good looking and kind, but only when they saw more of you did they end up developing feelings for you

teddie gets to meet you last, as he doesn't attend yasogami high, but he's the first to actively flirt with you! (because of course he'd do that…)

while most members of the investigation team try to keep their crush on you a secret, teddie doesn't just reveal his own feelings to you, but those of the others as well!

especially yosuke and kanji get called out the most by teddie, who likes to tease them about their very obvious crushes on you! seemingly obvious to anyone but you…

the girls are a little more kind to each other! rise is the one who notices first that chie, yukiko and naoto have a crush on you as well, but she only lets the girls themselves know that she knows, instead of parading it around like teddie does with the boys!

rise makes it clear that she's a rival to the girls, but also supports them wherever she can. she believes there's a chance for all of them to find a way to work out a relationship with you, perhaps by sharing you between each other…

the boys are a bit more competitive, but that's mostly due to teddie pitting them against each other! yu and yosuke support each other and even across genders there are alliances, like naoto and kanji, who try not to get in each other's way or hurt their friends feelings on their way to win your heart!

When you said you were into photography, Yosuke thought it was going to be one of two things

“Boring” nature shots of Inaba OR cool, epic action shots (*cough* of him *cough*)

So imagine his surprise when you ask him to model for your photos

And imagine his surprise becoming even bigger and MORE dramatic when you tell him you don’t want action shots of him splashing in the take or riding a scooter- you want to take portraits of him

Begrudgingly, he’ll accept (because he loves you too much hehe) but he’s going to be awkward about it the whole time

You’ll probably take him around beautiful sights around Inaba like the shrine or the Flood Plains around sunset and have to coach him through all these different positions and poses

You’ll probably have to tell him a thousand times to “smile normally” and “stop looking miserable” because he’s starting to get bored just “standing around and looking pretty for you”

But once you show him the final product, don’t worry- he’ll be amazed at your skill and just amazed at how good you made him look

Sure, he may grumble a bit about how you took hours dragging him around only to end up with less than 10 photos that you’re satisfied with but he does thank you profoundly 

You made him feel beautiful and loved when you showed him just how good your favorites looked (in the most, manly way he swears)

Yusuke Kitagawa

Yusuke is a guy who GETS it (kinda)

Since the man is (primarily? completely?) a painter and you’re medium of choice is photography, there are definitely some rules and ways of going about finding and showcasing a subject that differs between the two of you

But an artist can absolutely appreciate another artist’s work, even if you both engage in different forms of art so expect this guy to 100% be your biggest hype man

Y’all probably go back and forth with trying to spark inspiration for each other when one of you is stuck in a slump

Either way, Yusuke is not only honored- he’s thrilled to pieces when you ask him to be your model one day

Though he’s a bit difficult to work with at first

He has his own eye for aesthetics and naturally prefers to do his own poses and expressions (while maybe even directing how you should frame him in the photograph)

But once he cools his jets and lets you do your thing, everything works out

He’s more than happy with seeing your final product and he’s really able to understand your vision once he sees it come alive in the printed photographs

Might even make him so happy that he’ll make a completely abstract painting of his emotions in that moment and even name it after you haha <3

“Hurry up Y/n, you’re dragging your feet when it could pour any second!” Yosuke walks quickly ahead of me, but I only roll my eyes at his enthusiasm. “Yosuke, if it’s going to rain then it’ll rain. What’s a little bit of water going to do?” Yosuke stops walking ahead of me in favor of gawking at me. With pure astonishment written on his features, he opens his mouth to retort.

Unfortunately for him, the sky decides to open up at that very moment. Rain drops immediately start to fall, and Yosuke’s nose crinkles in annoyance. I burst out laughing when his fluffy hair becomes immediately waterlogged by the heavy onslaught of rain. 

“No time for laughing, hurry, grab my hand!” I cackle as I reach for his outstretched hand, and together we make a dash towards cover. We find a dry spot under the cover of one of Junes’ umbrellas. “Man, why do we always find ourselves here? Weren’t we just walking home from school?” As Yosuke grumbles about being at Junes, I take the time to admire his charming features.

Yosuke doesn’t seem to take notice, since he starts yelling nonsensical complaints at the sky. A smile graces my lips as his now damp hair swishes back and forth, wetting me with stray drops of water. 

“There’s no point in being mad since we’re already wet, so.. Why don’t we enjoy this moment?” Yosuke quiets down at the sound of my voice, but he raises an inquisitive eyebrow. “How exactly would we- Woah!” I interrupt him, pulling him close behind me into the tremendous onslaught of rain.

“Y/n! Are you crazy!? I..” Yosuke suddenly stops shouting, as the sight of your figure happily twirling and dancing in the rain steals his breath away. He’s momentarily stunned, completely in awe of you as you revel in the cold drops of rain running down your skin. It takes him a moment to snap out of his daze, but once he does he wastes no time in joining you.

Other students rush past the two of you, while one’s with umbrellas point and laugh. None of this is of any significance to the two of you, as Yosuke draws you into him, spinning you around as your head falls back in brazen laughter. 

You both stop moving around to catch your breath. You glance at Yosuke’s face, only to see him already looking at you. A sudden wave of shyness washes over you. “Is there something on my face?” Your horrible attempt at drawing attention from yourself only draws him in closer. 

He slowly leans in until his lips are but a breath away. They don’t remain there long, since Yosuke can never resist your lips. He pulls away with a start when a loud roar of thunder rips through the sky. “Let’s get inside now.” His voice is a mere whisper, yet it tugs and pulls your heart right into his hands. 

He looks dashing, all wet from the rain and out of breath. “Yosuke-” He kisses you again, and you fall against him. Your embrace in the rain is a sight photographers often dream of capturing with their lens’. Yosuke slowly pulls away from you, only to pick you up and start running.

Your startled shriek of surprise brings a goofy smile to his lips.

In a dry, fresh pair of clothes, you sit beside Yosuke as the movie starts. You cuddle up against him as he presses a featherlight kiss to your forehead.

“You never answered my question.” You playfully grumble. He gives you a quizzical look that quickly morphs into a look of endearment when you ask him, “Did I have something on my face?” 

He presses a kiss to your lips once more before he replies, “Only the rain, you doofus.”

Yosuke Hanamura x F!Reader ❀ Town of Blossoms ❀ June 20th, 2013

A Thursday night in the middle of the week…Yosuke was still lying awake on his phone, despite having to go to work the next day. You only knew that this was the case because you too, were laying wide awake at such an hour. Despite not having the same obligations as him the following morning, you were still ultimately, no better than he was. In a way, despite the decision to stay up being of your own will, he still held a part of the blame for your wakefulness.

It was apparent that over the past few days, something has been weighing quite heavily on Yosuke’s mind. Did you have a clear answer as to what that something was yet? Unfortunately, no. The only hints that you had was the occasional side comment made in the midst of a conversation.

From what you could gather, it was something about friends and abandonment issues and other stuff of that sort. No big deal, he would always claim, but it often times lead to some late-night conversations. Tonight was no exception. Things started off as nothing more than a quick chat before bed. That “quick chat” had been going on for about two hours.

Tiredness was beginning to overtake you, but you didn’t want to abruptly ditch him in the middle of a conversation. Every time there was more than a few minutes in between responses, you’d think that maybe, he at long last, fell asleep. And so, you would allow yourself to slowly drift to sleep yourself, until you were somewhat woken up by the ringtone going off alerting you of a reply. The cycle would repeat; back and forth between two considerably tired people who simply could not bear to leave the other hanging.

You wondered if he even understood half of the nonsense manifested from your fingers. An exhausted person was in no position to provide any form of solid, logical advice, but you were trying your best regardless. Any person in their right mind would opt to wait until the morning or afternoon to resolve any sort of problems, aided with a clearer mind.

But you two were best friends. Logic got completely thrown out the window.

Don’t you have work tomorrow? you texted back.

You truthfully didn’t want to stop talking to him. Even if it were only for the night, it was the last thing that you wanted to happen. More importantly, however, you didn’t want him to fall ill from sleep deprivation, and were more than willing to sacrifice a few minutes of talk if it meant for the sake of his wellbeing.

And you were sort of at a loss as to how to help him.

You turned the screen of your phone off and laid it on your chest. It was late into the month of June. For Yosuke, this was the season of his birthday. It was a time where you would expect him to be happy, overjoyed even. Ironically enough, it could have been the one thing that was bringing him down after all.

The more that you thought about it, the more that it seemed like a logical explanation.

It was supposed to be a time of bringing together all of his friends to celebrate himself.

What friends, though?

Almost the entirety of your group had long since parted ways completely as Inaba calmed down and time marched on. It was of no fault of one or another, as fate had long since planned different paths for each of his friends to tread. Time and again, he would claim to be fine, but it was apparent that the loneliness was getting to him hard.

He wasn’t actually "used to it." Without a doubt, Yosuke was hurting deeply inside. As good as the intentions in your heart might have been, it wasn’t something that could be amended overnight, or even at all. Regardless, there was no way that you were going to give up on him. Somehow, you had to convince him that even though everyone else had broken contact, you had no plans of doing such yourself.

You checked your phone one last time. No response. You could only hope that he ultimately decided to give it a rest and fall asleep, or that the tiredness finally overcame him. At least tomorrow was Friday, but that was still another day of working that Yosuke had to survive. Oh so close to the weekend, yet just barely out of reach…

There was one remaining option for you to lift his spirits just in time for the weekend, and even beyond that. An opportunity that you have been silently chasing for so long may be closer than you thought. No more of this “waiting for the right moment.” For the sake of you both, one of you was going to have to take the first step forward. And if Yosuke seemingly had no plans to do it, nobody else but you could take the initiative.

You put your phone aside on the nightstand and stared blankly at the ceiling in the dark as you carefully sorted through your thoughts. No, caution was what caused such a delay in the first place. The longest you were willing to wait now would be until after he was free from the grips of Junes.

In a sea of pink blossoms, understand those before you and flourish as the purple as you are. It was as clear as day what action you needed to take. Show him that you would never leave him, and that you meant it.

Content with your plan of action, you closed your eyes and allowed yourself to, at long last, drift off to sleep.

Playing Horror Games with Yosuke Hanamura

Because it’s still Halloween where I am and it’s something that popped into my head last minute

*Yosuke is a scaredy cat when it comes to anything horror related, video games included

*so when you asked him to play a horror game with you, he was very hesitant to do so

*...though he only agreed to do it because you would be the one playing it

*Anytime there was a jumpscare, Yosuke would practically cling to you for a few moments, before letting you go with a faint blush on his face and a "I wasn't scared, nope, not at all"

*You don't mind it, but if you notice him getting too scared, to the point where he starts trembling, you will pause the game and cuddle with him until he stops

*However, he will not let you go for a while, so be prepared. Also he will not sleep alone afterwards, so be prepared for a very cuddly/clingy boyfriend

I know people aren't all too fond of crossovers when it comes to fics, but I'm very intrigued about a potential Yosuke Hanamura/Female Reader premise where the reader is a student from Saint Angraecum Academy, a missionary school for young girls from the yuri visual novel, Flowers.

Like, considering the whole school is surrounded by a forest and is very closed off from the outside world, to the point where students aren't really allowed to have cell phones or any other clothes for that matter, the reader would essentially have to send old-fashioned letters to Yosuke in order to keep in regular contact with him.

Why, perhaps she comes from a rich family and Yosuke was pretty much her only friend back in the city because she's autistic and as a result, has trouble getting along with others, but either way, the reader is very dissatisfied with life in the Academy, given how there's pretty much nothing to do there; in fact, she has a lot less freedom compared to even Yu, who moved from the city to a small town.

On top of that, she cannot stand her classmates (aka she has nothing in common with them), and just honest to goodness resents her parents for sending her to a school where she's forced to behave elegantly and adapt to a more restrictive setting; in fact, the reader would be the sort of character who is pretty much a 'nail that stands out'.

Either way, I love the idea of Chie potentially teasing Yosuke on being so diligent in responding back to her letters. It would also be fun, writing the letters they would send each other and Yosuke himself would probably be happy, knowing someone holds him in such high enough regard that she would write to him that frequently (especially when you consider his friends back at the city canonically never text/call him).

Also, she would gossip about the drama encircling the lesbian relationships at the school and possibly talk about how bad she felt, turning down a girl who had feelings for her, especially due to the fact they were friends. Like, instead of being homophobic, the reader could just be on the aroace spectrum (demiromantic demisexual) and I could shoehorn in amatonormativity angst while I'm at it, which is essentially the distress and discomfort experienced by individuals who don't conform to societal expectations around romantic love and relationships... something I could make the reader go through. In other words, while nearly everyone at her school is pretty much gay, she pretty much experiences 0 attraction to anyone, which is something she would feel insecure about.

Anyways, Yosuke and the reader's relationship would be one based on fondness, where Yosuke is nice to her, so consequently, she would be nice to him back. What would make it interesting, though, is that the reader would admire Yosuke for the qualities she believes herself to not possess (extroversion, friendliness, customer service skills, good conflict resolution skills, etc), which means she would genuinely believe he is amazing and perhaps even put him on a pedestal, which would inevitably be addressed later on.

But at one point, the reader could either get expelled from Saint Angraecum Academy, leading her parents to have no choice but to enroll her at Yasogami High on short notice, or Namatame could kidnap her from the the school and throw her into the TV, but I'm honestly leaning towards the first option, because my gremlin brain is all, 'What if she had been bullied for a while and just finally snapped, to the point where she seriously injured one of her bullies? 👀'

However, the reader never told Yosuke she was bullied and nobody really knows her side of the story, so everyone at Yasogami (except Yosuke, who happens to understand her the most) would initially just think she's a violent troublemaker... and then Namatame would throw her into the TV. Unlike everyone else's dungeon, though, hers would appear as a fantastical witch's house and her Shadow self would go on to blab nonsense about finding 'a powerful love potion' to cure her until she's 'a more normal person'.

Of course, the thing she intends on curing is her lack of sexual or romantic attraction, signifying how the reader subconsciously finds herself to be broken, which is a sentiment most people on the aroace spectrum commonly share at some point in time. Her Shadow self would pretty much be a misogynist claiming to hate women thanks to her mother mistreating her, the girls at Saint Angraecum Academy bullying her, and the only girl she managed to befriend pretty much abandoning her after she couldn't return her feelings; furthermore, the reader's Shadow would openly acknowledge how she never felt normal, with Yosuke pretty much being her only friend.

But ultimately, what gets her to finally snap and say, "You're not me!", is when her Shadow offhandedly mentions how she's tired of being 'not like other girls', considering the reader's individuality had always been something she prided herself on... and after the Investigation Team defeats her Shadow, she ends up slowly falling in love with Yosuke.

Ooooor I could turn her into a OC, but coming up with an actual name and appearance for her would be so tedious. I do think it would be neat, on the other hand, if the reader eventually goes through a character arc where the girl who confessed to her would later apologize for not taking the rejection super well, and slowly yet surely, befriending the rest of the Investigation Team members while also mending the rest of her strained relationships (including the one with her mom).

12 belated days of christmas prompts: something specific.

this contains my rare use of [Name] and she/her pronouns for reader.

“Hey, have you gotten anything for [Name] yet?”

Yosuke hardly glances up from his instant ramen. As large as Junes is, the stock room doubles as the break room; he’s perched on the folding table that also holds an ancient PC terminal, hoping it doesn’t collapse until he’s at least finished his cup noodles. “Haven’t actually paid for it yet,” he mumbles with his mouth full, “but I’ve got my eye on that collectible box set of those shitty movies she likes so much—”

Narukami blinks. His nose wrinkles the way it always does when he’s thinking. “But aren’t those out of stock?”

“Hah! No way, dude,” Yosuke almost coughs on his cheap meal. “She’s gotta be the only person in Inaba who likes those shitty movies. We wouldn’t sell out of ‘em for centuries.”

Yu turns to the PC propped up on the fragile table— his gangly knees bump against the frail legs, and the entire setup shakes— and browses for only a few moments before he finds what he was looking for. “No, we’re definitely out.” He pushes the clunky monitor so Yosuke can clearly see the screen.

“—dammit,” Yosuke hisses. He swallows his noodles in one slurp and slides off the table, leaning over Narukami’s shoulder as if getting closer to the screen will change the answer on it. “There’s no way! Where did they all go? I didn’t have a backup plan!”

He shrugs his Junes apron off as he barrels through the swinging doors, darting out onto the sales floor, momentum nearly carrying him off his feet as he swerves around the corner of an aisle. Yosuke, of all people, has the store layout memorized; the DVDs are kept near the TV displays, to entice customers into buying more at once. “No way no way no way—”

In sharp contrast to Yosuke’s frantic energy, Narukami patiently strides through the break room doors, holding both his own apron and Yosuke’s he’d picked up off the floor. “Maybe you’re just not up-to-date on modern trends,” he muses. “There was a series of commercials lately about the trading cards in the DVD boxes. Must be popular.”

Yosuke just glares at his friend before he resumes digging through the shelf display. “You’re not helping, partner,” he grumbles. “Make yourself useful and start digging!”

Nothing on the shelf proper, with its gaudy cardboard cutouts of the movie’s main characters. The next shelf down, with discounted merchandise— stuff that had failed to sell during the initial release. Not even a single collector’s copy of the original sound track on CD in the next aisle over.

“What am I gonna do now?” Yousuke drags the syllables out as he slouches against an endcap. The metal digs uncomfortably into his shoulders. It’s not too different from the way an image of your disappointed face seeps into his mind and can’t be shaken off. How could he have let this happen? He’d been so excited to snag it for you, too.

Yu glances towards one of the many wall clocks peppered throughout the store. “You could always try to order one,” is his suggestion. “It’d probably arrive after Christmas, but I’m sure she’d understand.”

Yosuke lets out a huff that sends his bangs flying away from his face. “Nah, being late would kinda ruin my other plans.” He crosses his arm and chews on his lip for a moment, cogs turning behind his eyes. Then he lights up with determination. “Hey, tell my dad I clocked out early, yeah?” He’s already picking up speed towards the sliding glass doors.

Narukami is a real one— he doesn’t even ask, just nodding and turning back towards the stockroom. Yosuke disappears into the winter air.

Junes hasn’t overtaken Inaba in its entirety; there’s a handful of older stores scattered throughout town, and Yosuke’s footsteps are muffled by snowfall as he jogs down the street to whichever is nearest. Damn, he should’ve at least grabbed a scarf. It’s only a short sprint, but he’s shivering by the time he pushes into another shop, a bell chiming overhead to alert the teenage worker to put their DS down and pay attention.

Sold out.

The next shop? Sold out.

A street over? Sold out, but the DVD rental a few doors down should have the first movie—

“That’s not what I want!” Yosuke groans as he exits the final store. Stomping through the snow may be childish, but it helps to work out a bit of frustration. “Stupid luck that they sold out— the individual DVDs stick around forever— don’t wanna order—!”

“Are you having fun over there?” Your voice startles Yosuke so much that he nearly topples over into a snowbank.

“H— hey! What are you doing on this side of town?” Had you heard what he’d been complaining about? He really hopes not. The gift was supposed to be a surprise after all, no matter when he’ll be able to get it to you.

You shrug and fall into step next to him, a bag of groceries swinging in one hand. Your other hand holds an umbrella, although it hasn’t done too well shielding you from the on-again-off-again flurries, given the dusting of snowflakes in your hair. “Errands. It’s supposed to snow all night, so I wanna make sure I’m ready for tomorrow.” You tilt your head at him, and Yosuke is taken by the flutter of your eyelashes. “Why’re you out here in the snow? Dressed like that?”

Yosuke knows his face is red, but he can’t tell if it’s from embarrassment or cold. “Uh, no reason.” He’s never been a very good liar, but he always tries anyways. It’s obvious you don’t believe him, but thankfully you just tilt your umbrella so that it’s covering both of you and shove it into his hands.

“Hold this.” Before he can complain— not that he complains when you give him orders— your mittened hands have undone the scarf at your neck, pulling the bow loose and letting the fabric billow out. You toss it around Yosuke’s own neck and re-tie the bow as if it's always been there. He grumbles about it being “girly,” but knows better than to complain too loud, or you’ll strangle him with it.

“Hey,” you peer up at him from far too close, cold nose almost bumping his, “why don’t you come over? Dinner should be ready soon, and we can watch TV— I just got my hands on the collector’s box set of those movies I like! I was so excited, it was the last one—”

Wait.

Yosuke’s eyes get wide. His hand lands on your shoulder, and the bitter winter chill seeps from his frozen fingers through the fabric of your coat. “—it was you!”

Context: Takes place during the field trip to Gekkou High, where the students had to stay the night at a love hotel.

Imagine: What if despite SEES's victory of ending the dark hour, bits and pieces of the Arcana Lovers shadow remain in a certain place, not enough to affect regular people but persona users...

The (Male) reader woke up to find himself alone in the bedroom, despite having to share it with Yu and Yosuke, who seemed to have vanished, with no power running in any lights... was that the sound of running water in the bathroom?

As he got up to check, the reader found the clothes of Yu and Yosuke, mixed together without care. As he opened the door, he saw something he can't and won't look away...

In the steamy bathroom, through the mist, had the view of Yu and Yosuke, nude as the day they're born, making out like they would die without the feeling of each other's lips, hands grabbing anything they could grab... Yu's eyes shifted to the Reader's frame, causing him to pull away, alerting Yosuke as well, leaving the two to look at the reader, inviting him over...

“Megan, Scream, or IT?” You ask.

His face contorts into something akin to disgust. “Can’t we watch something not.. horror related?” He begs inquiries. 

“What? You scared?” Your knowing smirk matches the confidence in your tone, since you know Yosuke won’t back down from a challenge.

“No! Let’s watch Scream. That ghost face face dude isn’t all that scary anyway!” Yosuke retorts, with his arms crossed across his chest in defiance.

“Alright then.” You triumphantly do a little cheer before you load up the movie. Yosuke makes his way over to you, sitting beside you on the couch. He doesn’t protest, but his bouncing leg betrays his calm demeanor.

Once the movie is loaded you sit beside him, and he’s quick to close any distance between the two of you. His leg continues to bounce, a bit more frantically now, as the movie begins.

You eye him worriedly, thinking maybe this isn’t the best idea after all. Before you can suggest a different movie his leg suddenly stops bouncing and you feel a weight drape over your shoulder.

You turn your head to see Yosuke’s arm draped across your shoulders, and a goofy smile makes itself apparent on your lips.

Maybe you were worried over nothing? He seems alright now, surely things will be fine.

“Oh my god oh my god no look oUT- AHHH!” Yosuke’s booming shout startles you more than the scene playing before you, and soon both of his arms are draped over you as he practically jumps in your lap.

You can’t help but snicker at the complete 180 this man’s attitude has done. Over the past half hour, he appeared to be unfazed and even enjoying the movie, a small smile on his lips as he watched the movie beside you.

Lo and behold, once the first “scary” moment occurred Yosuke’s facade crumbled to bits.

“Name, this is too much! Did you see the way he brutally- oh mY GOD!” Yosuke buries his face into the crook of your neck as loud shouts can be heard from the TV.

You tear your eyes away from the TV to look at Yosuke. His fluffy hair all but obscures your vision anyway, and a quiet sigh of resignation escapes your lips.

You gaze at his trembling form with the fondness and adoration of a lovesick fool.

You wordlessly change the movie, putting on some random trending show on Netflix instead of continuing the movie.

Yosuke takes awhile to notice, still trembling in your arms, so you wrap said arms around him and rest your head on top of his.

It isn’t long before your movie night transforms into a cuddle session.

Yosuke’s blissful sigh reaches your ears, and his body relaxes. Your fingers gently card through his fluffy head; his hair feels like the soft touch of a cloud against your fingertips.

“You okay now?” You can’t help but tease him. “Oh, shut up.” His grumbled reply only serves to make you smile.

He finally removes his face from your shoulder, and your heart lurches when his eyes immediately search for yours. “Sorry if I ruined our movie night..” Yosuke’s sheepish apology, coupled with his forlorn expression, elicits a coo out of you. 

He’s so cute.

“You didn’t ruin anything Yosuke. Sorry, next time I’ll pick a movie I’m sure we can both enjoy.” His eyes widen in surprise at your thoughtful words. His mouth parts to reply, but your lips capture his before any sound can escape.

He’s startled, yet he wastes no time in returning your sweet kiss. Your eyes close as your fingers find purchase in his soft brown locks. You feel his arms wrap around you, pulling you into him as you share a pleasant kiss.

You pull back, but his lips are on yours once more.

Oh, how you adore the way his lips curl up against yours in a small smile.

You feel pure bliss and tranquility as you bask in Yosuke’s warm embrace. When you two part once again, Yosuke’s lips press against your nose, your cheek, and your forehead before they gravitate towards your mouth yet again.

Your body melts against his, and his arms gingerly cradle you against him. A monet passes before his lips regrettably leave yours, although your lungs thank you for the opportunity to breathe.

“If this is how all of our movie nights will go, we should do this more often.” His cheeky suggestion earns him another kiss to his inviting lips.
