The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.

"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.

"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.

"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.

"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.

"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.

"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.

"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.

"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.

Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.

📝As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. If you want to go fancy Michaels is always a good place for traditional supplies. They also get in some good sales and discounts. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are usually more expensive.

For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.

💻As for art programs here is a list of Free to pay.

Clip Studio paint ( you can choose to pay once or sub and get updates. Galaxy, Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, Android, or Chromebook device. )

So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.

I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.

Hey folks! This one was the recent winner of this WOF poll, so here’s my concept art that headcannons trading in Pyrrhia.

Read below cut for close-ups of the individual booths + the thought process / headcannons behind the design choices: 👇

Skywings: The Sky Kingdom’s mountain ranges provide plenty of pasture for raising sheep. As such, Skywing shepherds benefit from traveling to sell their wool, dyes, fabric, and woven tapestries. Many of these merchant tables also include herbs grown exclusively in the mountains, or ibex drinking horns that can be strapped on a dragon’s shoulder & carried in flight.

Along with goods, Skywing merchants may offer sewing services to fix tears, burn marks, or other fabric damage. They are sought out for their quality clothing, and most fabric across Pyrria originated from a Skywing’s talons.

Mudwings: Mudwings’ abundant food & cooking skills are envied almost anywhere in Pyrrhia. Their swamps have fertile soil, responsible for hosting diverse crops which can be purchased as produce at merchant stalls. For those lucky enough to find a traveling Mudwing merchant, the promise of a delicious dish can be whipped up and served at the stall in no time. Along with produce goods, Mudwings sell weaved baskets, spices, and cooking ware.

Sandwings: Sandwing booths offer luxuries of the desert: It’s most common to find accessories such as gold carved jewelry or musical instruments such as drums, lyres, & mandolins for sale. Though, even more sought out across Pyrrhia is Sandwing tattoos/piercings, which are done within the merchant areas. Ink etchings on papyrus paper are stationed outside their tents to showcase designs. All which can be selected, and poked into the skin with a tapping stick and plant dye ink by a trained talon.

Seawings: SeaWings sell a variety of ocean related goods; taking a share in the fish market with Icewings. Outside of food, there are den decorations like driftwood carvings, accessories such as seashell & pearl jewelry, and rope nets weaved by expert Seawing sailors. Some Seawings even sell fishing equipment, canoes, or offer sailor knot tying instructions to curious dragon buyers.

Nightwings: During the war, it was near impossible to find a Nightwing merchant. Most refused to participate in merchant territory, mostly as a way to keep up with their tribe’s mysterious nature.

Though in the more shady, unground parts of the market you can buy from a huge selection of obsidian weaponry, the sharpest in Pyrrhia. No one knew initially how Nightwings smithed so many weapons, or why, until their secret volcano kingdom and the intention to invade the rainforest was discovered. Then forging armor & weapons became clear. Along with a vast armory, for the right price, some Nightwing merchants offer Prophecies & Nightwing Literature (not always guaranteed to always be reliable) and assassin services as well (very reliable).

Rainwings: Though Rainwings haven’t been part of Pyrrhia trading for years, they have a vast hold on dragon medicine. An apothecary of herbs, salves, and remedies are all offered for various ailments due to the rainforest’s abundant resources. Along with medicinal goods, many Rainwings are fruit vendors, promising to any hesitant meat-eating dragons that such an array of flavors isn’t to be missed. Though, their fruit selling pitches often fall flat to most other predominantly meat-eating tribes.

Icewings: Icewings have everything a dragon could need to brace the cold, with a selection of goods only found in the most frigid regions of Pyrrhia. Furs, bone jewelry, and fresh fish (thanks to frost breath) are served on ice. Though Icewings themselves don’t require fur to withstand the cold, it’s considered fashionable and common in upper ranks to wear fur as a status symbol. Since metal is hard to smith without fire & in cold temperatures, fur and bone are more accessible to Icewings for clothing statements.

When his days are busy and his schedule is packed and he finds himself talking to you less, when you finally do have an hour or so to really sit and talk about things, those are the days when Armin struggles extra hard with long distance, and needs a lot of reassurance that you’re still happy with him, even though he can’t be there with you, especially when he knows there are plenty of other people who could be. More than likely, he spends a lot of your calls shedding intermittent tears, expressing his desire to snuggle up with you every time the thought crosses his mind. When he starts to get sleepy, his eyes droop and he lays his head on his pillow. He’s looking over every feature on your face, making sure to etch every minute detail into his memory for when he’s missing you the next day. He’ll fall asleep, doing just that.

Connie Springer just carries you around everywhere on FaceTime. He’ll go into the grocery store with you in his pocket, talking to you through his AirPods about what flavor of instant ramen he should buy. He sets you up on the counter while he cooks said ramen, so you can watch his chaotic ass burn a cup of noodles. Like eren, Connie probably wants to sleep on FaceTime, but he never remembers to put his phone on the charger so it dies at like 2 in the morning, and he’ll CALL YOU BACK just to be like “sorry babe, goodnight, i love you *snores*”. When Connie is in public, if you crack a joke while you’re in his pocket and he’s wearing his AirPods, he’ll laugh out loud, and you get the pleasure of overhearing people ask him what the fuck is so funny like they’re concerned for his mental health 😭 and he’ll play into that shit too, just to keep hearing your laugh.

Levi Ackerman doesn’t know how to just say he’s missing you, so he’ll call you periodically to ask what you’re doing and then just listen to you breathe for about 20 seconds on the other line after you answer. He visits you every weekend, even if you’re hours away, he will take public transportation for you if he has to, and that’s saying something because he knows how filthy those buses/trains are. Once every few months he’ll take a whole week off to come stay with you, and he’ll probably try to straighten up around your place, pick up your groceries, cook dinner for you, water your plants, in your own home 😭. Literally morphes into your lil househusband for the week, and you have to be like No? Go sit down you’re literally my guest. Distance doesn’t mean shit to Levi. Where there’s a will there’s a way, he believes. The definition of “if he wants to he will” because he will. Every time.

Hi! I was wondering if while drawing do you use an refs? Where do you find good refs from?

Hey 🙂 Tbh I've been making my own for the longest while with the posable 3D Figures of Clip Studio if I feel the need for a reference. 🙃 Firstly that gives me a lot more flexibility because I can choose my own poses and also experiment with the camera angle to get more interesting perspectives (or fill out the canvas space better) even before I make the first brush stroke ✍🔥 Secondly I don't have to worry about stuff looking too similar to the ref if it was a picture or a frame from a video. Often times you can just recognise when someone was inspired by a more famous studio because they are known for certain camera angles or "furniture" 😆 I like to look at pictures or videos for anatomy refs though. As in, how do bodies, feet, hands, etc look when they move 💪🦵🖖 (Honestly I mostly find them by googling body parts and drawing reference. But I am careful to never copy them. I just look at them to learn how things work 😉✨ Or if they are from an artist that offers downloadable references I also buy them) But here's an example of my own ref for a more complex pose that I made for myself in CSP 👇

I like to imagine that Anakin is a male stripper in his spare time. Like he goes to the lower levels and dances to get some extra credits. I like to imagine that he has rip-away pants that exposes him in his g-string that he performs in, but doesn't wear them regularly. He's a boxer breifs kinda guy. Damn does his body look amazing, probably oiled up to show off his glorious abs. Maybe he should get a size up in his thong though, his bulge looks like it might explode the fabric.

Anakin dances to some cheesy strip club song like, "Take You Down" or "Candy Shop", but looks damn sexy preforming to them. He puts on a hell of a show for those fucking credits that he's desperate to get his hands on, hoping he can buy some more parts for the speeder he's been working on lately. Anakin's muscles ripple and flex as he works his way around the stage, grinding and gyrating his hips. The crowd is eating it up, loving the way he looks on stage.

Anakin kinda chuckles to himself when he sees you from the stage. What the hell are you doing at a male strip show in the lower levels, seeing your best friend practically shake his ass for some credits? Anakin thought this was the best thing ever, dragging you on stage and giving you a lap dance. He would make intense eye contact with you as he sat you on the chair, towering over your frame as he grinded almost sensually on you.

Anakin would whisper things like, "Im going to touch you here, okay?" Making sure you knew his next move in the performance and weren't uncomfortable with his touching. He would pick you up with one arm, showing his strength off to the crowd while he basically humps you in the air. Anakin was having a blast while you on the other hand, were as red as a tomato. Anakin sat you back down on the chair and smirked as he spread your legs open and turn around so his muscular back was facing you, grinding on your lap so close to your most sensitive area. This probably wasn't aloud at the club, but he didn't care because he was racking up the credits.

He knew that this was probably embarrassing the hell out of you, your fellow Jedi friend grinding on you for hundreds of spectators watching, throwing credit chips on stage which clanked againt the flooring. But this is what you get for sneaking around the lower levels, a face full of your friend's abs and ass.

You take Joel shopping. At his insistence it is nothing fancy, just the local department store. That doesn’t stop you from dressing Joel up in ridiculous outfits of your choosing. You make him try on a hawaiian shirt, some golf polos like your dad liked to wear, a pinstripe suit and he lets you because saying no to you has never been in his vocabulary. He acts grumpy on the outside, but you can tell he is amused. You know in the end you’ll just end up buying every flannel shirt and jeans combo they have in the store, but it’s just fun anyway. You watch the fabric hug his torso, his tummy, the slight bulge at his waist. At one point he comes out shirtless and you try very hard not to swoon as you stare at the hair lining his chest and his adorable little tummy that you for some reason have the urge to bite. The band of his Hanes boxers sticks up past his jeans and he looks so good. He even lets out a genuine smile. The middle-aged sales attendant who is helping you even takes a good look at him which makes the butterflies inside you swarm possessively. 

Finally you make him try on a proper white-collared button-down shirt and black dress pants with matching black shoes and he looks so good you’re actually at a loss for words when he asks you what you think. They hug the curves and lines and planes of his body so nicely. All you can do is ask him to put on a black tie to match and he does at your behest following some customary griping that he would never wear such a monkey suit in the first place. The effect that a fully dressed up Joel has on you is not one to be reckoned with. He might as well be wearing the mens version of lingerie for how it makes you throb and ache between your legs. He looks like a force of nature, commanding and tall. It makes you weak. All you say is,

“Looking good, old-timer.”

STUDY IN LOKI ROMANCE

Part 5: Science/Fiction

Since we're only a few days away from the last episode, I decided to COUNT DOWN everything we´ve got so far ( that can be interpreted very easily as romantic ) and discuss what the actual fuck is going on with second season. Because even though I shipped lokius practically from S1E2, I absolutely did NOT expect this kind of development. (Not that I´m complaining)

Warning: This is gonna be LONG post, lots of screenshots, lots of SPOILERS, lot of "oh-my-god-they-so-cute" language, and little bit of meta.

I originally thought that this post would be everything at once, but since I have just too many screenshots this time around, I´ll have to split it. so every post will be one episode. Color coding means:

side note: I already wrote, about how amazing it is, that Mobius is unable to fight but fights anyway and how beautifuly, and ridiculously brave he is HERE. But this is about Loki/Mobius interactions, so I´ll try my best not to talk about THAT. (Even when I´m really happy, that s2 continues with this formula and Mobius is still his completely defenseless while aggressively brave self. I love him, btw.)

And he should have know this right away, because he already talked to Casey/Frank.

41) Loki time slipping to Mobius again (right when he started to be hopefull and Happy, that O. B. will be able to help him.

42) Loki glow up - or Loki fixing himself up, to look sexy not threatening fo Mobius/Don. I mean... this is just straight out of romantic movie, I´m sorry. Interesting acting choice there🤣

43) Loki being very nervous while talking to Mobius/Don.

The fact, that Loki remembers that line from S01E02 and that he echoes it back at Mobius, who doesn´t remember him... Like... WHAT? This thing is romantic as fuck. also finaly someone, who will gladly listen to Mobius braindumping about jetskis!!!! YES PLEASE. He deserves it! 💚 they litteraly made for each other!

This scene is honestly so tragic. Sylvie helps him realize his true motivations and he looks so desprete. TVA: place, that he should hate is home now. Where he belong. And that´s why he cared so much and tried so hard to save that place. And thing he wants the most are his friends. Their company. (And if it wasn´t obvious, it means primarily Mobius. The man, he called friend several times this season) It´s him, who Loki doesn´t want to lose in the first place.

Loki looks so fucking sad here! I can´t! 50) "It was more about what I wanted."

Not only he says it while we are watching Mobius, but let´s take in the fact, that he says it at all! Like... come on!!! Can´t he be just happy? As soon as he starts thinking that his actions are selfish, Loki will actualy choose what he thinks is better for Mobius and tries to let him go...

The character development in this show is just unbelievable

In total, I counted 51 Lokius moment, but if anyone caught something I didn´t, feel free to correct me! the more, the better! 😁 It´s a hella lot of Lokius content. especially since I didn´t expected, like... not even third of it. So yeah. Last part will be kind of a conclusion. I will try to look at possibilities, what could all this mean. What could be the actual intent of writers and filmakers etc. And, simply put it, asking: WHAT THE FUCK 😳

Another blogger just did a big post debunking the assertion Sam has a home in Los Angeles. Not clear why it matters one way or the other.

Not a surprise, Anon. Every time my insider source info gets proven to be true, especially DIRECTLY by Sam or Cait, an Extreme Shipper, Ex-Shipper, Shipper Sympathizer, Mean Girl, or Purvsessed Hater tries to debunk it. It's been like this for YEARS. They can't stand that I DO have sources.

As I posted recently, I reminded everyone that YEARS ago, at least as far back as 2019, I had shared with the fandom that an insider source told me Sam had bought a place in Los Angeles. And then last week, we read in the Departures interview that Sam Heughan HIMSELF CONFIRMED this. 👇

Soooo, it's one thing to call me a liar (what else is new? 🙄), but is the blogger also calling Sam Roland Heughan a liar? That is very, very foolish on her part.

Once again, Sam CONFIRMED directly that he DOES own a house in Los Angeles. Straight from him. HIM, not just me. 👇

The blogger taking the time to do a post "debunking" that Sam owns a house in Los Angeles is basically calling him a LIAR, and thus offering MORE proof that she IS a Sam hater...and obviously, we already know she's a Purvsessed Hater.

Sooooo, when I received this Anon, I reached out to the insider source who had originally divulged to me about Sam having gotten a place in L.A.

With regard to Sam's L.A. house, she told me the following. 1. She said she was surprised "Sam let that slip in an interview." 2. She gave me the EXACT location of where in L.A. his house is. Prior to this, I only knew the part of L.A. where it is, not the exact location. As an aside, I've mentioned MULTIPLE times, that once an actor becomes famous, they start buying property under the name of a trust, a company, their agent, or someone else that wouldn't be easily identified as connected to them. And THAT info can only be found on the MLS, the database that only realtors have access to. It's not public. Again, Sam's house is NOT in his name or anyone associated with him. 3. She said Sam rents out the house sometimes. IOW, sometimes he's stayed at his house while in Los Angeles, other times, the house is rented out. Smart investment move all the way around, given the L.A. real estate market.

So, there you have it, folks. There's me CONTINUING to PROVE to you for 9 YEARS that I DO have insider sources, who have given me accurate info...even if it takes YEARS to get it confirmed. This time, Sam directly confirmed my L.A. house info is accurate. Aaaaand, Bitter Betties who continue to prove just how bitter they are. And how far they'll go to make Sam look bad. ok this has kinda like always been how i interpreted things and then i looked literally anywhere else where people are talking about dog sees god and all the summaries are like pigpen and charlie brown and peppermint patty and marcie are COOL and POPULAR and BULLY the UNDERLING that is SCHROEDER. and that just like. doesnt feel right? like narratively that feels incorrect so im going to explain this now.

first ok. so this is also like a completely separate pet peeve of mine but the text literally never says that cb and matt play football like literally every single fucking source everywhere says. like matts page on the villains wiki says one of his hobbies is playing football and like. no???? they never???? say that????? like ok. we know their school HAS a football team (beethoven mentions it in the vipers nest) and we know cb and matt play SOME sport (matt mentions that they "shower together after practice" in the hangover) but the connection is never explicitly drawn between the two. in FACT beethovens line about the football team (below)

kind of like. goes against the idea that cb and matt are on the football team??? like hes talking to cb here i feel like if beethoven were to mention even sarcastically ogling a group that cb is apart of hed make some kind of comment about it. like this is before their whole thing gets resolved theyre still fighting when he says this line it would make complete sense for cb to say something about this. and like ok its peanuts right like just reminding everyone that its peanuts. you know what sport it would make more sense that charlie fucking brown plays like you know what sport it would seem logical for him to play oh i dont know fucking BASEBALL????? im realizing now that this is like a lot less relevant to my original idea than i thought but i still want to keep it here. i think its just kinda like. its not canon that theyre super popular stars of the football team for all we know they could be playing fucking tennis the fact that they play A Sport doesnt make them well liked. also it literally never says at any point that theyre even good even if they are on the football team they could be the worst players we dont fucking know!!! need i remind you of charlie browns only* experience with football

ok onto more substantial points. so if you buy into the interpretation that their childhood was just literally normal peanuts (which you should because its very funny) then you can assume that these guys have all known eachother since elementary school (and even if you dont there are multiple lines that reference them being friends as kids so point still stands). but also by virtue of dsg being a peanuts parody and a lot of the comedy just coming from "haha that s like from the comic strip :)" (I WILL TALK ABOUT THE INHERENT TRAGEDY OF THIS LATER) besides like. one guy. every single character mentioned is an established peanuts character. and like idk about you but my highschool is a LOT bigger than my elementary school. like. there are substantially more people there. what im trying to say that while not impossible it is fucking WEIRD to have a decently sized friendgroup that has not changed the slightest bit in almost a decade. what im getting at is these bitches are INSULAR!!!!!!!! they are extremely hyperfocused on an only think about people from their childhoods. i will get back to this

if tricia and marcy had any kind of actual social standing, them constantly gossiping and shittalking frieda would matter to her. being so constantly and relentlessly made fun of by popular people would have an impact (hi yes i know youre thinking of beethoven ignore him for now were gonna come back to him). but it doesnt! frieda doesnt care about what tricia and marcy think of her, why would she? theyre just those two girls from elementary school who are angry all the time. friedas on the outside, shes not apart of this. the only student mentioned thats not a peanuts character? thats her boyfriend. she is the only window into the world of normalcy

ummmm lighting round of things that support my point. if they really were these ultimate cool all powerful popular kids why the hell are they still friends with van. van is a burnout stoner with a sister in an psych ward. considering the things they pounce on to make fun of, this is MORE than enough to completely open fire. but theyre not gonnaaaaa because theyre in the same boat as him!!!!! van and them are on the same level of popularity!!!!!! ummalso THE PARTY the party. the only other guests mentioned to be at this party are franklin (another peanuts character, another childhood friend) and fucking RERUN ? in the comics rerun is established to be MUCH younger than the main cast, even younger than sally, who is mostly shown to be in kindergarten, meaning hed be in middle school at the MOST. and its not like this is a party at vans house and his brother just happens to be there NO!!! THIS IS MARCYS PARTY HE BROUGHT RERUN WITH HIM LITERALLY WHY IS RERUN THERE. THIS PARTY FUCKING SUCKS I KNOW IT IN MY SOUL.

were coming back to beethoven now the thing is that hes in the exact same boat as everyone else. while we do know that its not just the main cast that are outwardly homophobic ("i only got called a queer 3 times ^_^!") it is consistently shown that the main perpetrators are the main cast, much more so than anyone else. beethoven posits that the only reason cb only got called queer is because everyones scared hell beat them up, but i do think its worth considering that the main cast are the only ones who would ever enact actual violence. beethoven is in the same situation, but moreso by force than by choice. hes forced to relive reminders of traumatic childhood events and forced to cling to the past BECAUSE the people that target him used to be his friends. theres a reason they were the only people in peer counseling.

like i said, there is a certain tragedy that comes with dsg being a peanuts parody. its because of the referential comedy that bert royal created a cast of characters so self centered and so hung up on the past that theyre still extremely fixated on the kinds of people they were and the drama they had and their feelings about eachother from when they were literally fucking 8 years old. and isnt that jsut so much more thematically interesting than "oohh popular kid bully gay unpopular kid ooohhhh" theyre all unreliable narrators!!!!!!!! theyre all sick freaks and everyone knows it!!!!!!!! there is no possible justification for their actions, theyre hypocrites plain and simple.

Pierrot and Mime clowns

I have now decided that I shall draw my versions of every clown, which of course started with the pool dunk clowns, and now moves on to the pierrot and mime clowns

Tips and such on the pierrot and mimes below 👇!

Pierrot and Mime clowns are some of the quietest species of clown, as well as the the most monotone most of the time.

Not many know this, but mimes are a species bred from pierrot.

The first of mimes were created after some people started wanting pierrot without the caps. This has actually lead to many problems in mimes.

Pierrot tend to be very quiet, but they can make a few quiet sounds, but Mimes are completely mute, which is one of the problems.

They also cant see as well as other species of clowns, and tend to keep their eyes closed most of the time, as they are usually pretty useless to them.

They also tend to be very anxious without something to cover their head and it is recommended to get them a hat or more, preferably a beret, as well as have them pick one for themself, whether shopping in person or online. Their hat tends to be the most colorful thing about them if the hat does have color.

They also tend to like lace accesories, and unlike with other types of clowns it actually can be a good thing to buy your mime see-through bouncy houses, as well as other transparent items. Other clowns can have vision thats similar to a birds when it comes to things like glass and such, but mimes often like transparent items.

Pierrot actually have a slight relation to sad clowns, though nobody knows how exactly they are.

They tend to only make sounds, like little sighs or the jingling of bells, when sad or in a similar mood.

Usually, they only have color in their eyes, but occasionally some will have what looks like faint blush on their cheeks, and even more rare is color on their frills.

Most of them tend to like transparent items, but they tend to be anxious in transparent bouncy houses, like with most clowns.

Both species tend to be quite shy and introverted, and it isnt recommended to introduce them to other clowns when you first get them, as they most often dont trust that you wont lead them into a dangerous situation yet. Though, they tend to be more peaceful when with other pierrots and mimes.

If you are planning to get several different types of clowns, it is recommended for your first clowns to be pierrot and/or mimes if you are planning to get them, so that when you get them they arent immediately introduced to a strange new clown when they are still getting used to you.

Especially if they are a mime. Mimes tend to get more agressive with clowns new to their lives than pierrot do, and though they dont tend to actually be dangerous, they can get themselves hurt by picking fights with clowns that are strange to them.
