I’ve been working in my head on a storyline for a Cozy Lit RPG episodic series (short stories or, preferably, webcomic type).

Key word Cozy, in the “low stakes, low drama” sense.

The Mc is the hero of legend for their generation - in a world that hasn’t had a major catastrophe in almost two centuries, and she wants to keep it that way.

While also documenting everything she can about her world’s magic system and peoples for the next hero to be born, because she feels otherwise woefully unsuitable for being a mentor worthy of the recent hero tradition.

She’s a traveling merchant, and her primary skills are Appraisal, Strength, Knock Out (because to her exhaustion she will summon every bandit in a 10 mile radius) and Wisdom. Oh, and Luck, but that’s one of the standard Hero Perks in this setting (literally).

Anyone interested in me rambling a bit about what I’ve workshopped so far on the world setting? (warning: I suck at names, so I’m going to need to come up with placeholders if this happens…)

Seven Kingdoms: The Princess Problem (or 7KPP for short) focuses on player choice, customization and consequences. Politics and people are the core challenge of the game. (And it is challenging. So much so a story mode has been created for those who prefer their failures to end up less game-endy.)

Spanning seven weeks of gameplay, almost a million words of content, 12 different romance/marriage routes (3 of which are with female characters) hundreds and hundreds of choices, a detailed character creation that has has over 40 stats to master, including personality traits, a choice from six separate backgrounds (all with their own storylines and unique reactions, choices and dialogue) and world-changing outcomes that vary with every choice you make, 7KPP is massively replayable.

This is the early access version.  Expect bugs, errors and typos. Many things are subject to change for the final version. The GUI, information pages, extras and gallerys are not in their final version. Three unlockable romance routes (two full GxG and one secret GxB) and three special unlockable backgrounds will be added for the final version."

did my first ever used car browsing online and there's a car that's like really good on basically every aspect but the color is fucking NASTY. but ive been evolving a bit around it. and so now im like thinking "okay the bit's funny now but would it be funny in like seven years" kinda stuff

Removing the vengeance stat since it does basically nothing for me and adding a sanity-esque stat instead 🤭

Technically vengeance did account for how far MC would go for revenge but it didn't really affect anything until the end soooo ✨️

People seeing MC's red glowing eyes in the dark and being terrified is going to be so much worse with a low sanity (so insane) MC 😭

pro tip: do NOT try to paint "just a little" stain onto your ceramics at 11:50 at night. do NOT balance the box of stain (green) (carcinogenic) on the corner of another box to do so. DO NOT SPILL YOUR POWDERED CARCINOGENS at MIDNIGHT. it will take you half an hour to clean it up and you will feel paranoid the entire time. you will also lose several books that you couldn't clean up completely. and a towel. and some really good pajama pants you're sorry to see go.

actually not done with the mario kart 64 thing i was making, got to 3k lines of code today woo

calculated each characters section and each one takes like 2k lines of code by themselves so that's cool and it also means the final thing will be like 16k lines long to get everything working nicely

the thing already works but i still need to get the actual output in there, just got done with like one third of mario's data, took a few hours so i should have it ready in a few days maybe

Alright, after asking in regards to the players stats, I think it would be best if we know our stats.

Using our kitsune trait could help us right know, but if we go in blind, not knowing how much we used or how much we still have, we might lose to our own traits instead of... Other things
