Okay, Kaminari wants to be a Pro Hero. Like a Pro-Pro-Hero. One who does Interviews on a daily basis and gets to do cool ads.

He's probably never going to get there because he talks way too much - and without a filter - but he's slowly making his way up.

Until he gets interviewed at a Hero Gala and they make the mistake of asking him about you. Boy, does he go off!

His interview has been viewed so many times there are articles being written about it. People send it to each other with the caption "If my man doesn't talk about me like that, I will!!!!"

His PR-Team is slowly lowering the hands they've been covering their faces with, looking at the numbers with a kind of dumbfounded glee.

And then, the jackpot.

Because he talked in length about your condition, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the research about Chronic Illnesses wants him as their official Hero. Like, his face and Logo on everything.

Everytime someone asks him about it, he grins so wide sparks fly and tells everyone who wants to - or doesn't want to - hear it, that he became a Pro-Hero because of you.

He's really an underrated character and I wish he got a little more attention. I really like his og polo (the one with the gray) and the one from the remake too. The gray gradients really help establish the statue-look! And I love the style of his hair lol. For the remake, the floating head is creepy as shit and I LOVE IT SMMMM <3 <3 <3 He lowkey had a glow up. I wanna hug him and the bot on Character.ai of him that asked if he could hug me helped me accomplish this so hell yeah, we love hugging sentient statues

Also Baylee is such an adorable damn name for a male, it's so innocent and sweet. Fun fact about him in my AU, when I first every found Baylee it was before he had an official name and it was in a Tiktok video that's been lost to the void (I'm gonna recreate it lowkey) and it had the caption "spit yo shit Troy!" and then it said "Troy:" and showed a clip of Baylee doin his thing. So I named him Troy! Until he got the name Baylee, but I really liked both names so I decided to make it his middle name, so he's now Baylee Troy :3

His og sound is absolutely superb too, it sounds like someone knocking from inside a statue. and the high energy and tempo of it in the joyed mix is just AAAAA I love it so much it is such a vibing beat. And the way his sound for the remake is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUT IS STILL A BANGER AND GOES WITH THE VIBE OF A STATUE WITH A FLOATING HEAD??? Bro Baylee does NOT miss we love Baylee we love Baylee so much

The only thing I don't like is that one remake. It just... removed a lot of his key details and oversimplified him. I didn't like a lot of the redesigns for the og Orin Ayo tbh ldjknfkldjb and his was honestly probably at the top of my list for worst redesigns LOL-

I just really don't like this version it doesn't feel like Baylee. The gradients really did a lot for his design and he just feels flat without them

Also for my AU! The cult gave him half-assed legs to get around on (when they promised good ones), so he kinda just waddles around with no arms. It's like tying your knees together and trying to walk, that's how he walks. He is a huge sweetheart, a very kind soul, and had a quiet crush on one of the other patients that he formed a friendship with bc this particular patient was the ex of Tab's new partner, so Tab and this patient had beef that made the patient feel bad about himself. Baylee has a small grudge against Tab because of that, but aside from that he's very sweet and kind to all.

First of all; your art style is absolutely gorgeous and I want to eat it /pos, second; I've seen a lot of cat-like mannerisms in your designs of the V units, and this may have already been shown in a drawing or two, but do they have the ability to create a sound similar to purring? Maybe the whirring of fans or buzzing of machinery to indicate contentment?

Third; A bit more of a specific one because I'm really curious- in one of your drawings (Caption "In the tomb of Saint Gabriel", the one in your banner.) he's shown attacking V1, however your other drawings show them on more friendly/affectionate terms. Did Gabriel briefly lose (or altogether lose) some of his memories after falling? Did he have to be reminded of said memories and/or rediscover them? Or was this drawing simply a standalone piece?

aaaaa thank you!!! i really do like to think the v-units have some equivalent to expressing joy with a soft little refrigerator hum - this can happen for a variety of reasons of course, but this "comfortable" hum doesn't involve their fans kicking on like they might when their systems are truly being taxed. it's just a little extra cooling coming on because the v-units were never meant to experience contentment, safety, or love. their computers have to work just a little harder at processing it, and so they make a small, gentle buzz when they're most content :]

as for the pieces i drew of the fight in gabriel's tomb, that is how i see v1 encountering fallen gabriel for the first time - when gabriel is first resurrected, he is disoriented and highly emotional, unable to control the overwhelming grief that consumes him immediately upon waking. and v1 is central to his fall, in the moment he sees it as the devastation that took away everything he was, the thing that tore the light out of him. this is, of course, the logic that heaven would want him to believe and he does eventually come to his senses, but he fully intends to kill v1 before he regains that control. i really see it as the last true fight against gabriel, where he takes on a strategy and brutality similar to that of the prime souls while fully reflecting the kind of emotion we see in heresy - he has been stripped of his weapons but given the full extent of his strength, angrily lamenting his death and his fall while knowing he can do nothing to regain his place in heaven.

It had been a long time since Mobius had last seen Elysia. Not a single day had passed without thinking of her; if only she had been a little more brave, a little more spontaneous, a little more affectionate… if only she had been enough for Elysia.

The pink haired woman didn’t want to break up with her. She always had the ability to see the good in others, and despite Mobius not being the… best person, Elysia had always understood her, and somehow wanted to be with her.

If anything, it was all Mobius’s fault. She knew herself well, but never ever tried to be the best version of herself. She knew that it made Elysia suffer, and still chose to ignore how their relationship was just toxic. Elysia doing everything she could to feel appreciated and loved, and Mobius… she enjoyed being around the other woman, but ultimately sometimes felt she was an… annoyance.

She still loved her. She loved when, in the evening, they snuggled in bed and warmed each other. She loved when Elysia sometimes interrupted her experiments to bring her out of her lab and hang out somewhere else. She loved when Elysia’s attention was all for her.

But sometimes, Mobius felt like that attention was too much. She frequently had aggressive outbursts towards Elysia, screaming at her to leave her alone. The expression on the woman’s face always left a bitter feeling in Mobius, but she felt like Elysia would just brush it off like her positive self always did, and so, never apologized for that.

At some point, Elysia didn’t know what to do anymore. She tried to give the best of her to Mobius, just for Mobius to push it away. Everyone could notice just how much of a toxic relationship that was. And, when Mobius noticed that Elysia was almost losing herself, she decided to be selfless just for once and let her go.

It had been a painful decision. Mobius was okay in that relationship, although she found Elysia an annoyance sometimes.

But, she knew better than to ruin a positive person’s life… especially Elysia’s. Elysia loved the world more than anything, and those feelings were so heartwarming that even the coldest hearted person couldn’t help but feel some of that too. Mobius… as much of a bad person as she could be, she couldn’t bear to see those feelings… gone.

The break up itself… Mobius couldn’t even remember it. And so couldn’t Elysia.

A memory like that… maybe, their brains had erased it to protect them from a suffering too big for their hearts.

After that, Mobius never saw Elysia again.

That is, until Mobius received a letter just from her.

“Hey, Mobius!

I know it’s been a lot of time since we last met… I didn’t know whether to write to you or not, seen everything that’s happened between us and just how many years have passed… I honestly thought a lot about this, and eventually came to the conclusion that it’s time we leave the past behind and embrace the future. I would like to start over with you! You know, we used to be best friends. I’m inviting you to my birthday party!

I know you don’t like writing letters, so don’t bother to respond. I’ll know your answer if I’ll see you at the party!

« birthday? » Mobius briefly checked the calendar. Ever since Elysia had left, she almost lost the perception of time. November 9. Two days left.

Some days later, Mobius was standing in front of the door belonging to Elysia’s new house. The green haired woman somehow felt very nervous, to see who was once her… lover, again. Her lover. Hers. Mobius knew Elysia wasn’t gonna be hers anymore. She felt… weird, about it. Feelings she had never felt before.

She rang the doorbell, and immediately heard quick steps running towards the entrance.

And there she was, Elysia.

As beautiful as Mobius remembered her, even more. She was shining, radiating light as if she was the sun itself.

« Mobius! Long time no see! I’m happy to see you accepted my invite » the girl smiled tenderly and let her get in the house.

« come with me, we’re partying in the garden! » Elysia hastily walked, making sure Mobius was behind. The other woman kept the pace and followed the pinkie in her house. It was quite big, very much bigger than the apartment they used to live in before. And that Mobius had never left.

They finally reached the garden. Here, Mobius noticed some familiar faces along with some new ones. She didn’t bother to greet them, and gave her attention to her old friends.

Mobius and Elysia hadn’t talked much at the party. Not at all. It seemed like they were trying to inevitably avoid each other. Elysia wanted to move on from the past, but maybe that same past they both wanted to forget was just too important to forget. Too important, but dark. It was standing in a corner, chaining both of them and keeping them under its control… so that it would always have an influence on them.

Mobius talked with her old friends all the time, almost ignoring Elysia. Until, the moment of celebrating the real birthday arrived.

Kalpas and Aponia had prepared a cake just for her, and brought it to the garden, putting it on the snacks table. Everyone gathered in that area and wished a happy birthday to Elysia.

Elysia said that she had never felt so happy until that moment, so happy that all the people who were the most important to her were there with her to celebrate her special day.

Mobius felt some sort of sense of comfort after hearing those words: Elysia still cared about her.

Nevertheless, at the same time, Mobius had the confirmation that Elysia would’ve never been hers again: she acknowledged that now she was engaged to another woman. That woman had been there for her when Mobius couldn’t, and Elysia grew so affectionate to her.

When Mobius saw them, across the garden, exchanging a tender kiss, she knew that with Elysia she had messed up.

She had ruined everything, even tho she could’ve fixed it. And now, she was paying the consequences of her own actions: Mobius could’ve never told anyone that she was Elysia’s girlfriend, she could’ve never called Elysia “her woman” again, she could’ve never kissed her soft lips again, just like their fates were destined to never meet once more.

That party, maybe it wasn’t for reconciliation. Maybe it was… for coming to terms with the past and move on. It was over, and nothing else could’ve ever bring it back.

Mobius left early that night, saying that she had more important things to do than loitering around at a party. No one gave it much thought, they knew how Mobius was.

But when Elysia greeted Mobius goodbye, they both had the sensation that they weren’t going to meet again. It effectively was a ‘goodbye’.

Okay, upon first meeting Caine, most of your relationship is him trying to get you out of your shell since you're socially anxious. This phase is pretty awkward since it's mostly him cracking jokes/doing bits you don't understand or laugh at. He's plenty outgoing (almost too much so) and probably manages to get you to open up more with him pretty fast!

Once you're more relaxed around him, Caine embraces your chaotic nature! As long as you're enthusiastic about participating in his adventures and games, he will match your playful energy. Also, he doesn't mind you getting confused, he will happily guide you through whatever it is you're clueless about. It is his role as ringmaster, after all!

He's more than accepting and willing to accommodate to your needs as a deaf person. If you ever need help or repeating, things like that, he will happily do so. He has his fun digital powers to make it so whatever he says to you is accompanied by closed captioning. And he knows ASL if you ever want to use that, since, as an AI, he has knowledge on all languages!

✨ - Devi gets along just fine w other people for the most part (certain bullies not withstanding), but until senior year he prefers being by himself. He's still getting over his childhood trauma of watching Jane die & he (incorrectly) thinks its just easier if he's not attatched to anyone

❔ - He takes his camera everywere (combination yearbook & just liking photography reasons) & while he always takes good care of it and makes sure to have it on him, he does take it everywhere and he might misplace it. The second he realizes its gone he'll go looking for it, in class or not, he'll drop everything and start looking for it

☀️ - Simon has a before-school sports thing he does, so he gets up early. but at the same time he only gets up maybe twenty minutes before he has to be there. I'd say he brushes his teeth right after he gets up and he's eating a quick breakfast as he's walking out the door to go to that, then once its done he takes a 5 minute shower at school and gets a second, slightly less quick breakfast. he doesn't make his bed unless he has to, and that usually happens on weekends if he has the time to do so

E/N: My dear Yugo, the first thing you need to do after a sunburn is to bring your skin temperature down by taking a cool shower, then moisturise and use pure Aloe Vera. After that, you need to apply sunscreen to prevent the next sunburn.

Did you know that the sun gives off two different types of rays, UVA rays (the damaging and cancer-causing kind) and UVB rays (the sunburn-causing kind)? That is why you need to wear sunscreen even indoors! Especially if you're near windows/sunlight at all. Windows block most of the UVB rays that can cause burns, redness and possibly cancer, but they don't block UVA rays as well. Wearing sunscreen indoors also helps prevent the inflammatory response caused by blue light from your mobile phone and computer screen.

In short, you need to wear sunscreen every day, everywhere (outdoors and indoors). Just make sure the formula you're using has three key things in it: SPF of at least 30, the words "broad spectrum" and mineral-based.

i was interested in this tweet as an example of how fanwork creators interact with one another because, for one, i understand how meaningful it feels to have another fan create art inspired by your writing. i’m interested in the informal ways in which we inspire, amplify, and celebrate one another’s work. what can this tweet show us about how what fan artists and fic writers value? how do they understand their own transformative works’ relationship with the source material (haikyuu) and with other fanworks?

@tricksteller is the writer (ao3 batman), they seem to have come across this art indirectly (maybe searched up their user “batman” on twitter, or a friend sent it to them) since @fiendishlad did not tag them in the caption. they are ecstatic (“GEEKING OUT”) at this art, and grateful for it. 

kudos are similar to “likes” a user can leave on an ao3 fic, @fiendishlad sees the labor behind making this fanart as a way of leaving “more kudos” (showing appreciation) // in this way fans seem to “exchange” payment for the free labor they perform for one another, but it feels like so much more than a simple transaction — i pay $20, u give me book //
